outside a house tied to known offenders a man quickly ran inside raising suspicion circling back the deputy saw the car again moving strangely and records check revealed a felony warrant just as he approached the driver made a break for the woods what unfolded next was anything but expected stop police I see you come out with your hands up 149 one a gun Point stop stop running he's going west down the embankment wearing a flanel blue shirt he's in the river currently okay you're not going to get away Bud the cop caught up to Connor near a river yelling for him to stop but instead of surrendering the suspect kept running tumbling down a ridge in the process which proved to be a horrible idea where you going bud come here stop you move I'm going to Chas you show me right hands what's your name are you Connor can you talk why you running man turn around you're under arrest okay some water why'd you run what's your name how do you know my name is it Connor 149 Jackson it'll be Connor Hansen turn around let me put you in handcuffs then we'll deal with it all right need some water absolutely you got any weapons on you here huh stop reaching where making sure 149 Jackson yell for you okay mate mate bro ain't going nowh I can't move he's going hi and C the tree that's cool 104 he's saying he can't walk right now so I'm going to need help getting him out of here you know what's up how do you know huh how' you know cuz you've been arrested while you were in that car before and it's just super weird I pull down the road you see my car you run into a house when I come in you go off flying that's weird then when I come over here you randomly parked your dog's in the car your car's running that's weird so that's why I sat up there waited you know you were up there yeah and I don't know why you took off running man I mean I I was going to go this way but I thought yeah I just go God time is time yeah I want I wanted to be able to tell you not to take my dog and pond him without knowing how to get rid of you know like if I if you if I would went to the river you guys would have took my dog to the pond oh my sorry bro come on I didn't think I was going to give out I'm sorry a right I can do this sit down just stay there brother I'm sorry all right so what I'm going to do is I'm going to take you out of handcuffs and we're going to walk down the river because what I don't want to happen is one of us to trip while we're holding on to you and then all of us trip or you to trip and you to fall and get hurt okay you're not going to try and run again I can't run okay well if you try to run again it's just going to end up the exact same way I going to get shot in the back you're not going to get shot in the back yeah well it's a taser you were at gunpoint cuz you told me you had a knife and you kept reaching in your pockets oh I was trying I I get like that I'm trying to like make sure I get everything out for you guys I I kept yelling at you to stop it's probably see I just see like dumb you like you get everything out of your pockets give it to him you don't do any reaching all don't get out of your vehicle when you get pulled over I Lear that I was trying tell him like Hey I don't mean that I just want you're still under arrest I know okay so you want to help up this I can here can you hold this real yep can't elbows and shoulders and land it on I don't know how I'm supposed to do this I'm pay as best as I can but right I know you don't want to touch me much I get that we I'll hang on to your arm to help stabilize you but we got to get out of here somehow man either way it kind of grab so your time yeah why don't you just walk right through here and I'll just follow behind you it's all you man that's the bad one over there the cop takes off Connor's cuff so they don't all wipe out walking through the river Connor worn out and hurting finally gives in and just goes with it God hold on here okay take his hand going up all right man no one saying your are man can you climb over this I don't want you having any sticks man yeah we're not going to need any sticks my Dad ran DC for 20 years I'm really Str you just ran from me brother just because you don't know my situation that's the first time I ever did and it's because my dad's dying you're controlling our Pace man so just take your time if you need to all right you're good no right like you guys huh oh yeah we walked the whole way yeah well I told him I was like it's going to take there's no easy way for you guys to get out back there like we might as well just start walking I get a couple guys in here and help them walk yeah like right where you walked you went in there knees ank an there walk this [Music] for the most part I didn't get a good thir I'm going to stick with him though okay I was just coming out to kind of talk to you about you know what happened it sounds like I don't I wasn't there but I don't know if there some kind of any kind of force was used or some kind something went sideways or whatever I don't know if you want to talk to me about that or what happened or I I just wanted to kind of get your end of what happened if you if something got hurt that one of our deputies caed or anything like that or or what no no one hurt you or anything what what ended up getting hurt oh in the woods there I would like say I bement Ro in the creek okay okay where'd you end up getting hurt then my ank okay and that was from when you were falling down the hill or something it sounds like okay a goodle well I heard was by that camp or whatever that's pretty pretty big hill back there after his injuries were treated at the hospital Hospital Connor was transported to the county jail bringing an end to the chase Connor faced a charge of resisting or obstructing an officer he was found guilty due to a no contest plea classified under forfeiture severity as a result he owes the court $200. please consider showing your
