A call the previous day had resulted in her going for a hospital checkup. The next day, however, Ashley began to become physical with her son Aiden, resulting in her brother Christian and daughter Jaiselle calling the officers once more. Afterwards, she was transported and booked into the Grant County Jail. Ashley was charged with battery to a law enforcement officer for kicking officer Nate in the groin and causing him injury on his elbow during her resisting. She was ultimately found guilty in court of disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer for which she was sentenced to be on probation for two years and have to pay over $580 in fines.
