20th 2024 the Los Angeles Police Department received a report about a domestic incident at an apartment complex on the 5700 block of ety wer Avenue in Northwest La the caller the victim told the operator that she'd got into an argument with her husband 45-year-old Maron Jimenez on the night of the 19th for a duration after that going into the 20th was subjected to a brutal beating that included being held down then hit repeatedly and put into a choke morand was a career criminal he had been involved in 22 different cases over the years his most recent stin in jail was in 2023 believe it or not he was out on probation when the 911 call to LAPD was made in June of 2024 some of his previous charges were you guessed it domestic violence related against his wife to make matters worse these incidents would take place within the home while their children were present LA City 911 operator 267 uh yes hi good morning could you guys send over a police what do you need a police for uh domestic domestic violence it's going on right now uh no it it's it's happened last night and this morning but I wasn't able to find my phone so I was just able to get a phone now where did it that what happened uh we started arguing and uh he he was hitting me and holding me down okay put me on a joke hold did you need an ambulance are you okay no I'm okay he's not there anymore he's gone no get to what's his name Marin has he ever have we ever been out here before has he been arested before for for what okay so this is the first time is he fight us how is he how is he with us sometimes guys coming at me with a predetermined [ __ ] notion or whatever when I just I'm telling you that I'm requesting a supervisor so that that I know how it is that I can exercise my rights on [ __ ] this is what's going on right yeah be a mother [ __ ] Sergeant right now and go in there and ask her did you [ __ ] strike the man with the [ __ ] dinner plate with no [ __ ] aggression and I want her to go to jail it's on I'm going to I'm going to ask her I'm telling you right now it's on video and I want her to pay for it just like I'm paying for some [ __ ] I didn't even do right now why are you so adamant about me paying for something I didn't even [ __ ] do when she's going to tell you she did something and you don't want to [ __ ] make her pay for what she did do we need you to turn around and put your hands behind your back I'm asking you a question man listen to create [ __ ] look you guys are going to create you're done talking you guys are going to create a situation man we're done we're done talking [ __ ] would spend over an hour rambling to police about how he was being mistreated and that he rather than his wife was the real victim in the situation as time passed he became irate which in hindsight just proved that his wife was definitely the one telling the truth I mean why wouldn't police believe her anyway you know the one without a criminal record he was quiet and calm remember even when officers arrived she whispered that's how scared she was of Maron the LAPD responders eventually grew tired of the Antics and wanted to make an arrest however that agitated Marlon in fact it got him that frustrated that he bled out that he was armed with a knife and threatened this prompted the officers to back away and call for more units if you're going to get asking Sergeant I'm fall my kid mental well my kidal mental well7 back I'm asking to not violate my right there's two kids in there I got this for I listen to you I need you to listen to me that's what the [ are not going to leave okay just that wall not First Responders would ultimately make contact with [ __ ] via telephone they tried their best to calm him down and get him to voluntarily come out but he wouldn't listen and remained agitated there was an issue though Marlon wasn't just armed with a knife now but rather a firearm as well with LAPD officers having no reason not to believe him they notified SWAT and minutes later they arrived the SWAT negotiation team would take over the call and for several hours they attempted to get [ __ ] to leave the room but he continued to refuse to comply and became more agitated as the hours passed it got that bad he began shooting the gun but thankfully no one was hit SWAT negotiators spent nearly half a day attempting to resolve the situation but [ __ ] still refused to comply towards the end of that period things suddenly went quiet so SWAT entered the bedroom and it was there they found Mand dead okay you know what check out more of our
