time are you going to shoot me how how many have yall shot been down I the spe get into the where she to get back table you he get I don't care if they look at you we're going to probably can't hey guys we have everyone here she goes for you okay [Music] good morning sir if you could please tell us your name spell your last name and your position Lieutenant Carlin c a r m e l i n Rivera r i v e r a and your position sir I'm a lieutenant with San Diego py thank you sir can you tell us what happened this morning yes so earlier in the morning we got a call from the CDs um here at the near Fifth and fur downtown about someone who had stolen some merchandise uh a couple hundred worth of merchandise they observed the person get into a car and gave a description and a plate on the car as the officers drove into the scene they uh found the car uh located here at the uh corner Fifth and fur this Cadillac Escalade yes okay and uh they confronted the plate matched what the person gave initially uh who reported the crime and then a record check showed that that plate uh had the car had been reported stolen out of Dallas Texas a long ways from Dallas so the officers uh began uh made contact with the single uh occupant the driver of the car and the person refused to come out let's wait for a second thank you sir sorry about that so when officers made contact with the driver the person refused to come out of the of the car for a while um it it appeared the person was smoking inside the car clearly the person had acknowledged that we were there but just refused to come out after several minutes of negotiating with her to get her to come out of the car she did come out of the car and uh but wouldn't surrender she uh now had a bottle of wine in her hand and expressed to us that uh she would basically surrender once she finished drinking her bottle of wine and that's exactly what she did exactly what she did she drank the entire bottle and then surrendered that's exactly right okay and so she'll be facing several charges yeah uh she'll be facing charges of a of theft and we're still investigating the original theft to see what charges are going to come out of that okay and nobody injured nobody injured no no no force was used okay sir thank you so much for your time all right thank you check out more of our police body cam Chronicles here on the channel make sure to like subscribe and hit the Bell notifications for our next video in the metime che out our latest video here
