Police were dispatched to a neighborhood in Lake County, Florida after receiving numerous 911 calls about a tattooed shirtless resident that was reportedly chasing the neighbors around with a box cutter. >> Yeah. While Jon was on the ground actively resisting, he tried biting the sergeant's hand before kicking him in the left leg. After placing a spit mask on Jon, he communicated several threats to the corporal that he would kill him and every law enforcement officer and firefighter on the scene and did not care how many charges he gets. He will carry out his threats. Jon was charged with resisting an officer with violence times three battery on law enforcement and threats to a law enforcement officer times three. He bonded out and is being represented by a public defender. Shockingly, the arrest happened in April 2024, and as of July 2025, the case is still open. The defendant has pled not guilty on all charges.
