Anderson was dispatched to a report of a hit and run once he Tracked Down the vehicle involved in the crime he found a Hispanic woman in the front seat who claimed that her driver deserted her however her lies were soon torn down and the truth came to [Music] light hello hi sir hi is everybody okay yeah okay is there a reason why you guys didn't stop where the crash happened um I wasn't the one driving okay where's the driver at are they okay uh they just left like they just left me here that's why I parked okay so you parked no they parked okay I'm just sitting here waiting for my dad to give me a toes okay does the car run or do you need a toe or what um it's running it's it runs yeah okay all right do you know who lives here no no okay um so where did the driver go I have no idea did they leave on foot or did somebody pick them up they left on foot okay do you have an idea on you uh yeah I do [Music] okay thank you welcome can you get photos for me this will be our car and then after you get photos if you don't mind just going the rpn barning stone for me and just getting a better description so you don't need an ambulance or anything like that no okay is this damage was this damage here yeah everything was already there you want to just step out I just got to get pictures who's the driver come on don't bu us who's driving it just a friend that I have just a friend you don't know their name no I don't know name come on now don't play that game I don't you just let people drive you you don't know their names come on I don't let people drive me who I don't know who they are so who is it want to get them up will be his niame okay so I I'll be honest I've had contact with you before and I I don't buy I I know the names of all of my friends so if you were riding around with a friend okay yeah his name is BU it's what black black yeah that's his nickname that's his nickname you don't know his real name okay and that's who is allegedly driving yeah okay so if I look at the intersection cameras it's going to show a male driving this vehicle 100% cuz you know lying to me you're going to get arrested for that right so now's a a hit and run could be as simple as a ticket so you need to be honest with me right now because I have a witness that said there was a Hispanic female driving I wasn't driving well clearly black wasn't driving cuz he's a male so is that is that the story you're going to go with it's not that difficult just be honest with me give me a statement so I can put it in my Gra report that's all I'm looking for not like you said he's giving you a chance cuz if not go get that video footage you're going to be arrested and right now who was don't tell us black we driving the vehicle who was it's just a ticket or you're going to make this a lot harder than it has to be you're going to be arrested I don't want to be arrested sir huh I don't want to be arrested then be truthful with me this is your only opportunity I'm putting you in handcuffs and we're done with the nice guy thing with you wait why would I get arrested though cuz hit and run to an occupied vehicle is a crime and if you're lying to me that's resist obstruct so you'd be getting two charges cuz right now you're leaving me with no other option I'm going to detain you he's going to go talk he's going to go talk to the other party and if they confirm what I already suspect then you're getting arrested okay wait if if you confirm what I'm going to go talk to the RP who who's saw you uhh and they're going to confirm it was you and then once they confirm it want to see if she got out of that vehicle or not oh you can't oh yeah no you can't just just that the driveway just misses it but you guys didn't see anyone get out of the car no we just got home a few minutes ago and we were just eaten AR did you see any a male black potentially male Hispanic walk by anywhere any chance well can you I can I can see if the how long ago like the last 10 minutes police department how are you I'm I'm good are you the person who called about being hit by another vehicle okay so I'm the investigating officer I was in route to uh to meet with you on and as I turned um actually off um I actually came across a silver Impala can you describe to me was it an older model or a newer model type inala okay and do you remember could you see clearly into the vehicle okay okay um was there anybody else in the vehicle okay right through it okay um anything other like any other distinguishing features of the vehicle did it did it appear like it had any other damage on it any window stickers and the right side of the vehicle had damage already okay okay um can you do you remember seeing the wheels were they black silver or anything like that silver okay um any so you said she had black here is it all black black or did you notice any like any coloring any red hair or any blue hair some blonde in it okay a nice silver grill okay okay all right well I'm pretty confident I do have that vehicle here and I I've already made an arrest on it um so I'm going to I'm going to handle this and I'm actually going to have a partner of mine come over and take a statement from you and take pictures of your car okay we'll be over shortly thank you bye yeah so she confirmed there was damage dirity on the right side it's a newer model in paa she said all she saw driving was a female Hispanic with black hair obviously when I asked about any coloring in the hair I I didn't say blonde I said you know red blue no I think she had blonde in it um silver grill Silver rims which all most of the three of the rims are silver so um I'm pretty confident I got enough for the hit and run um so I'll leave it to you I've already got statement everything on her um I have no problem going over and getting statement stuff from the from the victim and taking photos so if you want to just book her you don't really have a report cuz I put her in cuffs I you all you all you have to do is book her um issue the citation for me for the hit and run um to an occupied vehicle all right Miss so you are the registered owner of that vehicle as well um I talked to the other party they clearly saw only one occupant in the vehicle female Hispanic with black and uh blonde hair they described your vehicle very very detailed that there was already damage to the right side okay so at this point you are being arrested for hit and run to an occupied vehicle you will have a mandatory cord appearance my partner is going to take you down to the police department and book you and once he's done with that you'll be released okay okay so you're not going to jail today um but you are being arrested and you will have a mandatory court date if you don't go to the court date then you'll have a warrant I make sure okay um at the end of the day I don't know why you didn't stop if it's because this isn't a license that would have just been a citation not even a mandatory court appearance but by leaving the scene that's a hit and run okay so I don't I don't think that was worth it in my opinion okay cuz somebody could have been hurt and you have no idea you just left them there so what my charges hit and run to an occup Ed vehicle is that the only charge nope uh operating without a license as well okay so you're going to have two tickets one is mandatory court appearance one is not okay all right so I'm going to have you step out I'm going to put you in this other squad car here can I call my dad to get my car once you're at the police department do his way to the victims of the crash to get a full assessment of what happened so the car above me kind of um he started breaking so then I started breaking and then well you know how you get ready to try to accelerate so I'm kind of slowly accelerating and before I could even accelerate good she SL she like hits the back of me okay so she rended you yes okay so she was behind you yes which direction were you guys traveling we were traveling towards this way you Roe obviously cuz you were probably on your way here anyway literally okay so you guys were this way yes um you had slowed for traffic and she rear ended you yes okay and then did you continue on white so I can so I stopped the car cuz I thought you know I turn I parked the car put my hazards on got out the car so I'm thinking okay we're going to see what's happened yep and then that's how when I got out the car she sped around and then she's like cussing cuz she's mad okay and then that's I ended up seeing her face and her license plate okay oh you got a license plate yeah okay what was the license plate on it was um Wisconsin Illinois Wisconsin so since you have that I just want you to confirm with the photos I have okay so is that the front of the vehicle they hit you yes that that is the car I know you had uh actually what you said was that was very helpful is that it had previous damage to the right hand side side I seen that pulling like well she got in plenty before so she doesn't have a license either so makes sense that's probably why she didn't stop so my my guess is after she pulled did she pull around you and continue on white she continued on white and then she turned on one of those side on the left hand side she was she was facing when I came off of so that would have M matched exactly what you're saying happened okay yep that's exactly her car yep you see had license you probably insur uh I have not had a chance to check on that but I will um and I'll give you all the information you need to provide your insurance company and they'll be able to get a copy of the report which will include whether or not she had Insurance okay okay Bianca was charged with Hit and
