were at his house when they were called by their mother later identified as Marissa who was reportedly frantic and eccentric on the phone however once officer Paul and officer Workman arrived on scene it quickly became apparent that there was a huge misunderstanding stemming from Marissa's actions prior to the call hello Deputy TR how's it going got to be safe ins yeah no totally get it um here yet okay where would she be coming from she would be coming from Hartford okay okay so take a little bit to get here um okay and the kids are here I would assume inside they're inside okay who has packed up and ready to go sure who has full custody of the kids she does okay so I understand she's got to give them back or get them back yeah concerned about her state of month sure no I totally get it um if she shows up we'll see who's driving her see now she's revok anyways um so shouldn't be driving um so we'll kind of move forward with that kind of wait to see if she gets here um so I would assume obviously she packed the bag she was okay with kids coming here yeah and then well I'll let you read the text okay cuz it's do we know if she's been drinking today or did she do any okay she was her then we'll follow her out cuz we know that she's revoked so um I would assume then that kids's dad knows that they're here and that they're you guys are going on a trip right I would assume I got a text from them um be on the lookout for Marissa I left work at 5:00 stopped at the bar with a cowork worker Marissa showed up if she shows up just let her take the kids an hour later okay she had been going back and forth between us and him so okay well we uh we can't get obviously you're aware of this we can't get involved in any custody issues um however we will make sure if she does show up that well first of all she can't even drive them um and we'll make sure that you know there's no impairment there's nothing like that going on um obviously we want the kids to be safe too if they leave um so that's just we're not going to let her drive without a valid driver's license with kids in the car so um if that happens we'll kind of move forward with that but other than that there's really not a whole lot we can do um but it's just kind of crappy that she said you guys could take them and then now is she's saying that she didn't know about it so right and it's it's like okay the two of you live together there should be enough you would think there'd be enough communication yeah that hey you know my my parents are going to watch the kids for the weekend yeah where were you speech the parents say she's not acting like herself is she willing to do the sobriety test she can do in the car you can do hdnc in you can do an alphabet you can do numbers okay she refuses to do all those those towards okay um I we need to at least make sure we investigate the other gu CU you can't have her showing up at the jail and PBT and15 at that point it's too late I agree I was going to serve you the warrant signed by a judge I get that but still don't don't I still get a lawyer not for this part of it there's nothing in my system besides that's fine by me but here's the thing I'm not going to let those people take my kid what people that had my kid I didn't they tried they took them for me okay they were supposed to be at my house okay they were taking them out of town okay I didn't give nobody permission to take my kids out of town okay your kids are with your dad now right well now but not before okay so yeah so yeah I was going there to with my dad to meet them so my dad can grab my kids absolutely officer Workman and trit now escorted her to Dodge County Jail where she would not only be processed but also be explained the gravity of the situation at hand but a lawyer is not here to let me understand all this I don't understand it she's going to explain the warrant to you you can have a seat in the chair oh so you were arrested for yeah she read the informing the accused form to you where she asked you will you submit to an evident chemical test after she asked me if I would to um pull on the breath Wier yes yep you said no to that question what question will you submit to an evident chemical test your yeah no I'm not going to she applied for a warrant based on that refusal because in Wisconsin the implied consent law states I have a Wisconsin Driver's License of law enforcement I don't have one though I I don't have one so why can you it advises the stat actually States you're operating on Wisconsin roadways I was traveling to make sure my kids were safe correct so this law states that that means if law enforcement at any point asks you for your you've already given consent if you refuse it at that point it's a separate charge which is the revocation charge have a lawyer told me that though how do you can have a lawyer when you you have a court date if none of it's true it's all on body camera all on Squad camera you can fight it in court that's the way the system works so she's going to serve you with the warrant the a FLOTUS is going to come in here to take your okay mhm if you decide to fight with the flomist and somebody here gets hurt I want to hurt nobody I'm just I have to explain this to everybody then you'd be looking at another charge for hurting medical staff anybody you have the right to verbally refuse but she's going to serve you with the warrant the lab Tech's going to come in and take okay well I verbally refuse you can contest everything at court and I will thank you and I will okay so this is the the search warrant draw everything's in here okay and then on here it's signed by the and then also by me okay this with you this is your copy so that's yours and give you the other paperwork yep so this is going to be the notices intent to revoke um so that's what we home with you do this one and then the steps to take after the fact okay absolutely thank you and then this is
