On May 5th, 2023 in Winnebago County, Wisconsin, Officer Jacob and several others were dispatched to a motel after owners reported a woman in one of their rooms, Julie, yelling racial slurs and causing a disturbance. Now, having decided to kick her out, the following events occurred. Julie, open the door. Well, the problem is last time they opened the door and she had a chain on. We don't want to break it. What? That's why they moved me to that room and there's cameras. So, you're all on camera. So, when it goes into court, you will be losing your job. The chief of police is your boss. And we recorded you. So, guess what? Your boss is going to find out. Yep. Anyways, I wanted to be in jail. I thought I would have had the other one maybe. You need to be cooperative with jail staff. You're going to be cooperative. You're going to be cooperative with jail staff. I just want you to be cooperative with them, Julie, okay? That's all I want. Okay. Well, I just want you to be cooperative with them, okay? I don't care if If hate me and OPD, but I want you to be nice to jail staff, okay? She was later taken to a medical center for evaluation for complaining about experiencing pain. However, once it was confirmed she sustained no injuries, she was booked into the jail. Julie was found guilty of battery to a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct. She was sentenced to spend a total of 9 months in the local jail, as well to pay back the motel for her stay there, as well as other fines totaling up to her being fined for more than $2,800.
