a.m. officers were sent to Whiskey River
Bar in West Salem for a report of a
stolen vehicle the victim a bartender
stated he started his vehicle remotely
and noticed a man on the back patio that
appeared to be intoxicated the victim
asked the man he knew as Braxton if he
needed a ride home the man did not
respond to the victim so he went back
back into the bar to finish closing when
the victim came back outside he noticed
the man was no longer on the patio and
he observed his vehicle pulling out of
the parking lot the victim told the
officers he had two firearms in the
glove box and provided the officers his
vehicle description shortly later a
Holman officer observed a vehicle
traveling north on Highway 53 at over
100 mph the officer attempted to conduct
a traffic stop on the vehicle which
matched the description of the stolen
vehicle but the vehicle fled
got the lat
as the officer pursued the driver of the
stolen vehicle lost control striking
immediate barrier fence disabling the
