on July 18th 2024 an officer in New Mexico was out on patrol and he spotted a black SUV driving in the rain without headlights the officer quickly activated his emergency lights and followed the SUV attempting to perform a traffic stop however the driver ignored the officer and continued driving here's what the officer did next 46 has the vehicle all LS of traveler back open 10 second l r Jo paam 229 black niss 37 vehicle is continuing to drive Southbound on Second Street obeying all traffic laws still refusing to pull over pull your car over driver in front of me pull over your vehicle 3 second so vehicle is going to be pulling into a driveway stand by 20 out of the car Sheriff's Office your hands up or what cuz I told you to get out of the car I think so getting out the you can BL me Mental Health crisis yeah please she is I understand that we we we deal with this daily and we try to get the help we can Christina she's my wife at this point like if someone commits a crime we still have to do our duties the deputy Tred to stop her from second and those Ranchos and now we're at the house here so yeah she's scared of just like I am why why are you scared after you shot my son in the back what the you think I'm scared for yeah but this is a different situation I know you have somebody know the situ I know but you have somebody shoots your son in the back and you murders your 18-year-old son it causes fear it does cause fear well I'm here to tell you we're not here to harm anybody we're not but but all I'm trying to say is that when she saw those lights she was frightened that was it that was it she's she's in a mental health crisis I get it she isn't you know been I've been trying to contact her doctor to try and get her and we had the whole family here trying to get her in today to go into the hospital and get mental health help okay and I just pulled up in my house I just pulled up here and went inside and then I all a sudden I hear the sir and it started freaking me out and I was like oh my God where are those sirs and then they show up in my house and I was like oh God so I I know you guys aren't but you got to see it from my way that somebody kills your son a deputy I imagine it's very traumatic yes it's it's traumatic to me yes I know you don't know that situation and if one of you guys was the one that I saw your name there would be a different story here but I'm just telling you I understand why she freaked out but she does have M she needs to be if she gets charged or whatever I don't know whatever is happening but she needs to be transport to the VA VA after that can you get my shoes and my purse out of my car where are they at your car they're in the front seat seat a yellow purse and purple slids okay is it unlocked yes
