on October 1st 2023 officers in Ohio were out on patrol when they spotted a red Ford RW on a red light at an intersection quickly activating their emergency lights the officer followed the female driver to perform a traffic stop here's what the officers did next9 hello my partner's going to come up and talk to you a't nobody coming to talk to me because nobody FW me over I pulled into the driveway it was no lights behind me nobody's come to talk to me yeah you are you with her nobody put their lights on or none of that though like no she no ran the red light stop banging on my window then put the window down yeah I get that but she ran the red light cutting a car off completely like almost causing an accident can you put the window down ma'am put the window down is she going to put the window down theed light yeah it's you ran the red light we're not really sweating the red light in of itself that's why we that's why we pulled up on here to stop you all right nobody pulled the lights off when do you have your driver's license on you if it's just the red light I'm telling you right now we're not sweating this some red light thing but if you like are going to identify yourself and you're making it difficult for this this is a traffic stop and you make it more difficult you make us think that maybe there's something else in the car there's some other stuff going on so the way it works but my thing is is that nobody in this stop me until I sat in this driveway for seconds before y'all pull up well there's not there's not like a certain set time limit where we have to like you know just it's not like home base where you pull in here and you're you know you're home free you ran the red light and that's why we're stopping you right now so it is what it is excuse me it is what it is so can you run a c back and show me that render no here's the deal ma'am do you have your driver's license on you if you don't cooperate we're going to pull you out of the car place you under arrest for obstructing then you go to jail all right you can turn this red light I cut the car off I do get out of the car we're done playing these games all right we're not playing these games get out hold on wait a minute hold on no I'm calling 911 no don't no get the out I'm calling 911 have to be this doesn't have to be all serious stop not res I am not resisting good I'm not do me a favor go ahead just hang out back there it's all good you you see what's going on right yeah but we no have to be that aggressive that's my employee thing is we don't know her I'm not resistant I'll talk to you I am not resistant officer I have nothing on me too late you you are resistant I am not resistant yeah how I'm standing here I am not resistant you got any weapons on you anything we need know about going nothing I need to use the bathroom all right so can I use the bathroom because you're going to put me in this car get in theu it's too late for that get in the car get in the cruiser get in the Cruis what did I do no hold on get in the cruiser supervisor no I want a supervis now you're me handling me I'm going to f y you will get you'll get a supervisor all right man if you wouldn't mind just go ahead and hang out back there for us did you get a 32 as well yeah you I how about explain what what happened okay sure I'm assuming proba what you're asking question about sure I mean I just it looks little aggressive the way yall went into her yeah so so we you saw us I mean you passed us first you saw us she ran a red light I mean it was red when you went through it was like right at the change you went through so it was it was well red she went through car came honked at her I mean it almost caused a T-bone okay so I got to turn around I'm going the opposite direction I got to turn around come back he runs a plate that's why we pulled up and it took a little you know 2 seconds by the time she pulled up for us to turn the lights okay we talked to her I mean you saw her for 2 3 minutes asking id id she's still not giving it to us at that point we've asked her five six seven times it it turns into obstruction okay so at that point I asked her get out the car she's like nope I'm calling the police so I I try handcuff her she pulls her hand in she pulls her hand in I'm pulling her out okay but I mean isn't it her right though to just like I mean she's handic like there's a lot going on like I mean we we sat there for like 5 6 minutes trying to talk to her all I need ID and I get it but you got to understand like his Dynamics at play like she is alarmed you know what I'm saying at this point I mean I get look I get it but we also when we do conduct a traffic stop we we we have to get the stop done in a certain amount of time you know we stop her for red light violation we're we're sitting here playing we can't just sit here and ask do you get to no ask I do you get told no ask I do you get told no ask I you get ask her ID told I mean how long are we going to play that game and I get that we warned her if she doesn't she's going to get arrested for obstruction we told her that she still said no so that point she got placed under arrest for obstruction open the door I grabbed her hand put the handcuffed on she I try to like just have her step out she says no pulls her arm in I feel her tense up pull it in at that point I'm not playing the game it all transpired really aggressively and I'm going be completely honest uh I don't know that you're completely sober right now you don't think I'm completely sober actually we're going to have we're done with this conversation my man no you can go over there you're not involved in the traffic stop supervisor yeah they're coming out you can go stand over there you're not involv this traffic stop it doesn't matter this is a traffic stop right now my man okay and you what okay okay okay I'm a man you have no right to go to her car her her car is getting towed that's what's happening her car is getting towed it's getting towed we're doing a tow inventory that is not your telling you now you don't have a right to go I'm telling you you can go stand over there you can go stand over there you're going to get arrested for obstruction as well it does this is a traffic stop you are bringing my attention off of doing this onto you your own you can go stand by that car you can go stand by that car you're going to be arrested you don't have a right get rested for instruction go stand by the car stting coming on the way officer I have to use the bathroom India I ped up here to use the bathroom India no I have to use the bathroom I'm telling you that I have to use the bathroom I hear you before I be in your back seat I have to use the bathroom officer I don't understand why you need call my lawyer CU I have a lawyer go I want a supervisor you'll get a supervisor you're going to get a supervisor no worry that's the [ __ ] I'm talking about though because I'm a black female a black individual just why y doing it and I'm telling you I got to pee so when I pull my pants down and I pee in this car I'm going to read you your listen up here I got to all right you you have the right to remain silent anything you say Canon will be used against you in a court of law where am I charging you can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any question or make any statements I got theath are youw all right here's the deal man here this is a traffic stop all right like I I appreci I'm just using cocaine the way that yes I mean the signs and symptoms are are apparent I need you to stand up there okay say this is this is a traffic stop yes but this is a traffic stop and I'm aware you up to the cruiser I know I just came to ask you a question if you are aware that he's using all right here here's what's going to happen we have a yes or no question he's not using cocaine we have a supervisor coming here all right and you can talk to the supervisor okay I see this all the time I do this every day in bars she's clearly using the way that you snatched her out this car was completely inappropriate and uh I've been completely civil about it yeah yeah but I know what cocaine use looks like and he's inappropriate at this moment and he does not have a right to go through her car okay even if it is being towed you don't have a right to go through it she didn't give you any reason to believe there was anything in this car inappropriate you don't have a right to search it so if you could please tell him to stop searching through her car all right vehicle's being here's the vehicle's being towed right but it's step over there EMS is here you need to go step over there yeah here I'll I'll come I'll come over here real quick all distra I am that's not a reason no my physical body is upset after they put me in the no get back inside do you need them you need a valid medical reason do I need to go to the hospital for what because the way that they took me into this house into this car I my shoulder is messed up my back is messed up I need an ambulance right here so I need to be transported to the hospital we can no I need to be transported to the hospital you cannot deny my service my rights is that you cannot deny my services I need to go to the hospital will take you out the way that they handcuffed me and took me in here my shoulders messed up it might be dislocated all that I need to go to the hospital I got asthma PTSD all that so y I need to go to emergency I need to go to the hospital we'll check your just you need to sit back down okay but if I pee in the car I owe you fine I need to use the bathroom think I don't know anything about that I need you to sit back in the cruiser okay there's going to be go call do not touch don't because I'm not man handling you no we have a supervisor coming to talk I yeah no so I know my rights you cannot do this until the supervisor get here you canot what the hey how's it going sir Sergeant back I'm here to investigate the application of force you want to talk to me he's using cocaine I know what cocaine usage looks like uh I run a restaurant I'm supposed to be trying to spot these things they were very aggressive with the way they ripped her out of that car she was little franic I will give him that she was panicked she's alarmed um but at no point did their use of force like warant the situation and he is repeatedly sniffing he's rubbing his nose he's like I I know what cocaine lues looks like and he's intoxicated and the way they've handled her since this his transpire is completely unwarranted how do you know her she's my employee okay your employee okay uh I invited her over yes I invited her over to just come hang out tonight um she's going to come hang out with me the bars around the corner we're like maybe we'll go play some pool whatever the case may be um and so I told her to follow me home and we would just go from there and uh you know we hit the corner boom lights come on he's at her window asking her question she is talking to him but she's also on the phone um he's getting annoyed at this he's like give me a driver's license uh I don't know what she said um but she did not agree um and then uh it just from there went to like do this or else kind of situation and uh within probably a matter of 45 seconds uh he had ripped her out of the car grabbed her by her wrist forcibly removed her from the car uh he had almost like forced her to her face in the gravel but like she Reed herself caught herself with her knees uh and that's when I leaned in I said gentlemen like we need to be this aggressive it's not that serious and they let up when they saw that I was calm but I was paying attention and yes I was recording and um are you able to send that video to me yeah all right Miss I'm starting back I'll be investigating okay can I ask you what happened to there I know that I was driving I put up in the driveway when I put up in the driveway they got behind me when I pulled up in the driveway doing all this and all that talk about I ran a light nobody stopped me from the light if you pull the [ __ ] back you will see that nobody stopped me originally at a light it was when I pulled in this driveway they surrounding me in this driveway they get to come to me and I'm like what the like hold on I'm just following him I just came to use the bathroom and make sure he got here safe okay they get the manl at me pushing me into the car I'm telling them I got to use the bathroom okay I got to pee I've said this several times I got to pee were they were they talking to you so when they stopped nobody when they initially stopped I don't know what I got so the officer said I rent a light okay or a stop sign mhm but if I rent a stop sign why did you not originally stopped me at the stop sign before I ped up in they said which stop sign they they stopped you for no okay did they ask for anything else no never asked for id never asked me who car I was in never asked me none of that they never ask me any of that they never said none of that never ran my rights never did none of that though I'm a handcuffed with no right any injuries at all you have any injuries at all I told them when it was here where you inj send me to the ambulance because my neck my back how did you hurt your neck and your back the way they threw me in this car I'm going to take I'm going to take a few photos here um you said your neck hurts yeah it it does very much my neck my back my arm hurts all that because I'm Shing the [ __ ] out of all right I'm going to take a photo here any injuries anywhere else my my leg hey I can't pull it down but I'm probably sure it might be a bruise on my leg or something don't toad okay um anything else I didn't ask I didn't go over I didn't bring up when I was talking to you about anything no all I can say is call my uncle okay he work for yeah cuz this this is I ain't do nothing wrong so for me to be in handcuffs right now it's bull I ain't do nothing wrong this is uh me being black that's all I can look at it is is me being black in the wrong area and because the way I got man handling in here is crazy I'm a female well we're going to Fig the rest of that out okay I'm going to close the store again anything for me real quick before go I got to use the bathroom again yeah all I got one kidy so try to hold it if you can okay right now get some stuff that I don't know we're going to figure that out though okay can I can you watch me I can't I can't do that I can't do that watch that foot okay whenever she on the back of a car nobody want N Out me none of that why I'm on the back of the vehicle this should have been a traffic stop why am on okay so I know that my right is is that whether it's one supervisor on scene it should be two before I am actually direct two supervisors I didn't well here's what's going on right now so right now is this is crazy the suspect was charged with obstructing official business resisting arrest in open container in court the suspect's charges of resisting arrest in open container were dismissed the suspect pleaded guilty to the remaining charge of obstructing official business and was found guilty [Music]
