on September 19th 2024 an officer in New Mexico was out on patrol when he spotted a Dodge pickup truck with expired plates the officer quickly activated his emergency lights and performed a traffic stop on the truck here's what the officers did next hey stay in the car stay in the car stay in the car and I'll go talk to you in a minute Dodge pick up truck occupi times two name Sergeant Martinez CL police who I'm stopping you is your registration is suspended is it I didn't even know I'm just name my truck can I see your license registration proof Insurance you didn't see it yet huh you haven't seen it yet may I please see your license registration and proof insurance I don't have okay do you have an ID card okay whose vehicle is this have you been stopped in it before uh yes for what reason uh I don't I don't know you don't remember I don't remember what it was okay I have the liy loss fi going on I don't know I didn't know okay said who did so you don't know where the registration is the insurance I don't know you ever been stopped in this car before so did you not have registration at that time Janice was supposed to take care of that I don't know but you've been okay so before she left did you not inquire I asked her for it but she said she was she had to go she had to go up there to California and work she's working up there and you didn't ask her like a couple weeks before where she left I did ask her okay so I didn't I didn't get it from her okay I I couldn't be there at the same time and it seems like you're in possession of this truck all the time okay um and then I'm looking for a stolen truck and so I happened to see that that vehicle was gone and you were coming up out of the alleyway go ahead look at it NOP I'm looking for a Toyota Tacoma that's stol so I knew that the car was suspended I didn't contact it while it was pared on the side of the road I know you guys working hard so then I see you I see the car hit the roadway I'm just trying to make now that it's on the roadway it's expired well you were going you weren't going to make a right you were going to go left no I had my bleer right my bleer lights out and why' you take so long to make a rightand turn when you had a clear Street I I make double check you triple check cuz I look both ways and look again just because cuz it's better that way if I don't do it that way then they had me hanging on my door and then what happened and I was hurting I told him I have medical issues in my stomach area and and um my shoulders been really messed up lately and they were really hurting me really bad and I told him I was hurting I told him I I have medical problems I tell I'd get out easy he didn't have to do that and he kept doing it he kept using hard force on me he hurt me so then how did you get out they pull me out so the door opens drag me out and you got it taken out okay yeah I so these medical units I'm going to let them talk to you I even open the door guys trying to put handcuffs push him up against the door and I stepped on his foot to keep him from leaving but yeah he gave us a bit of a struggle and everything was at the door when he showed up like we were poting guns and stuff like cuz he kept reaching underneath and then Branda God she scared the crap out of me cuz she re you R up all the way up against your seat and she was like this and I thought she was reaching for something else and so we told her and she's like all right all right and she tried leaving a couple times before you got here and then um did you see all the drugs that she ditched so then I go back to the window once we get them out and dude there's fentanyl pills all over her seat all right yep and so none of them will give me consent to grab it so now I got to write a search one this guy's wallet was in his hand the whole time he wouldn't let it go he finally took it out of his hand he's got meth wrapped up in there oh okay two her social was I know who she registration and no proof of insurance the female suspect was charged with two cans of felony possession of a controlled substance and tempering with evidence [Music]
