on June 27th 2024 officers in New Mexico got a call from the manager at a local te store reporting an unwanted vehicle in the parking lot the manager told dispatch that the two adults and two young children inside the vehicle had been bothering customers in the parking lot and asking for money here's what the officer did next yeah just so whole tight yeah I bet to talk iess she just rushing I got okay do you have ID on you buny chance how about you ma'am do you have ID what's that okay what's your name ashy Rodriguez I got what's your date of birth Miss Ashley 29 cros clear her name of child AB time myid it doesn't matter you're in a vehicle with two children in the back and so now I have a child at be because of you absolutely so then what do I have to do for that one go to jail look like you guys are deing with the addiction that you guys need help for that's what we said to other earlier and I mean that with all like you need help he needs help at least for those kids that were in the car the suspect was charged with resisting arrest tempering with evidence and possession of a controlled substance the court issued a bench warrant after the suspect failed to appear in court a month after her arrest at this time the suspect's case is still ongoing
