He's going into traffic on shackle. >> Now face the car. >> No, we're calling no one right now. >> One taser shot is painful enough, but this guy [music] got stung 10 times. >> Comply with me. Stop running. >> Put your hands behind your back, sir. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Get off me. >> Get off me. >> From a small argument in front of a store to a nightmare of electric shock with no way out. >> So, we can either go back in there and you can pay for it. >> Nope. But a seemingly simple question, will you pay or not? Turned out to be the spark for an unexpected confrontation. >> So, he didn't pay for it, right? Are you going to pay for it? >> You either got to pay for it or you go to I mean, you go to jail if you want to do that, right? >> I got cuffs. I got cuffs. >> When police started forcing the man to put his hands on the hood, no one expected things [music] to spiral out of control just seconds later. Okay. What's them pose for? >> Okay. You mind if we put them poles down? >> Okay. What's up? Say again. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Okay. Let's do this. Let's uh let's set those poles down. Let's come over here and talk real quick. Can you set those poles down for me? Sweets that work for it. >> Okay. >> So, that's what we're going to be doing. >> So, he didn't pay for it, right? Okay. Are you going to pay for it? >> Talking to the guy. >> Okay. Well, I'm talking to you. I need to know. Are you going to pay for that or not? >> I'm talking to you. >> I need you to back up, bro. >> No. >> If you keep getting in my face, we're going to have other issues. I need you to go pay for that or I need you to not get >> Okay. The reason why I got this because I was way on the other side and I was skin. >> So, here's what I need you to do. I need to go in and pay for that. Are you going to do that? >> Okay. That's not what they're telling me. They're telling me you're either going to pay for it >> or it's going to be another issue. Are you going to pay for it or no? >> Okay. That's not what they're telling me you're going to do. >> So, we can either go back in there and you can pay for it. >> I have to do both. >> Okay. So, let's go in there and pay for it. >> No, I want you to pay for the one that you have in your hand drinking in front of me. >> Working it off. >> Let's not drink. >> Okay. So, you got two lighters and you got to drink. You either got to pay for it >> or you go to I mean, you go to jail if you want to do that way. >> I would be happy to go to jail right now. >> Would you? >> I'd be happy to go to jail right now. >> Put your hands up on the hood. >> It don't happen again. >> Okay. Put your hands up on the hood. >> All right. >> We'll do it that way. Put your hands up on the hood. >> A chilling warning rang out. You're about to get electrocuted, bro. [music] And then the chase began. >> How do we pay for When you have to work it off, >> you have money. When you go into a gas money, I work it off. >> Well, when you don't have money, >> I pay and then I pay. >> Let me let me tell you. Whenever you go into a gas station and get items, you don't work those items off. >> Pay. >> So, he's got two lighters. >> He's got two lighters and a drink you didn't pay for. So, >> no need. >> Shoplifting. Yeah. You might >> Let's go in front of the car. Come on. >> Figure out what's going on. >> Whoever you want to, man. >> We're going to go Don't Don't do it that way, buddy. >> Listen, I have to put you in handcuffs. Okay. >> Don't touch. >> I have to put you in handcuffs real quick. Okay. >> Hands behind your back for me. Okay. >> Nope. >> Hey. Hey. >> Oh, yeah. Shoot. >> You're going to get tased, bro. >> Not going to shoot you. I'm going to tase you, bro. >> Turn around. >> Comply with me. >> Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground, dude. >> Get on the ground. >> It's okay. We just need you to go handcuffs. Whatever you want to do. >> Put me in cuffs. >> You going to be in cuffs? >> You're not. >> Let him put you in cuffs, bro. >> Everybody. >> Come on. [ __ ] Not going anywhere. Under arrest. >> Amidst [music] his pleas and extreme fear, the man screamed for help while his body was continuously jolted by electric shocks. >> I got one running. He's going into traffic on shackle. Northsh in the southbound lines. South be Give me a hands. Give me a hand. On the ground be [clears throat] >> sweets. >> Get off me. >> I got one more. >> I won't let y'all torture me again. >> I have a connection. >> Sir, just try to get his hands. >> I won't let you torture me again. >> Put your hands behind your back. Sir, >> put your hands behind your back. >> Get off me. >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> GET OFF ME. GET OFF ME. GET OFF ME. GET OFF ME. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND ME. >> GET OFF ME. ALLAH. ALLAH. ALLAH. [screaming] ALLAH. ALLAH. GO. ALLAH. ALLAH. ALLAH. ALLAH. ALLAH. ALLAH. Get off me. >> After all, when the victim was lying on the ground, the police were concerned about something completely different. A water leak. >> There we go. >> I got cuffs. I got cuffs. >> I got a hand. >> Please don't break it. Don't break it. >> Calm down. >> Please don't, man. You good? You good? You good? Chill out. Chill out. >> You good? We're not going to make it. Just chill out. You good, my man. >> Sorry. >> You good. You good. You good. >> I'm not I'm not I'm not We not going to break it. Can't blow it. I'm tired of >> 713. That's you front of the engine. Yeah, they said uh there's a leak over there about that. >> It's too hot for you be like that. >> There's a leak over there. >> Bring your car. >> Somebody said it was a leak over there. >> Should we put them in the car? >> There's a leak over there, y'all. >> Y'all check. Y'all want to check that leak for me? Please >> figure it out, buddy. >> The uh that leak by the uh >> We'll look at the leak. Citizens may sue [music] public officials for violating their constitutional rights pursuant to 42 US Code SS1983. [music] Individuals/organizations are required to pay damages to the injured party. [music] Violating police officers may be disciplined, have their licenses suspended, fired, or expelled depending on the policy of the agency/ police chief. With body cam evidence and a clear cry for help from the victim, the incident could lead to a civil lawsuit against the police department for excessive use of force, unreasonable arrest, and violation of human rights. Next, a teenager was forced out of a car because he misunderstood a police officer's gestures. But that was just the beginning of a tense and breathtaking interrogation. >> Out now. I waved you over and pointed at the side of the road. Why would he take off? >> I need his driver's license. >> Even when the boy's mother tried to intervene, the police officer did something shocking. You don't have a say in your child's case. >> Parker, out of the car now. Out now. Out now. Face the car. Call Call Mom. >> No, we're calling no one right now. >> What? Mom. No. What's going on, sir? >> I pulled you over and you took off. I waved you over and you took off. >> Sir, I didn't know. >> You have a wallet? >> Yes, it's in my backpack. >> Have a seat. >> You knew better. You knew exactly. >> Sir, I did not. You >> have a driver's license for him, ma'am. I don't know where it is. I don't know where it is. >> Why would he take off? I waved you over and pointed to the side of the road. Why would he take off? >> I need his driver's license. >> I don't know where it is. >> Look at the center console. >> I don't know where it is. I don't know if he has a wallet. It's a pain in his phone. I don't know where it is. >> Set your phone there. >> We're not doing any phone calls during my traffic stop. Being scolded for not having common sense, the boy had to listen to a moral lecture from the person who had just handcuffed him without knowing what he did wrong. >> Real simple. A police officer steps in front of your car and points to the side of the road and you can see there's another car pulled over. Can you see the other car pulled over? Yes. >> Yes. >> And then when I'm pointing to the side of the road for you, I'm not telling you to go into another lane. when a police officer is waning you over and stands directly in front of your car and points to the side of the road. >> And then you start going over and then you take off and then you pull into somewhere where you don't belong right here either. >> I missed the exit online. >> You missed the exit on Lions. Yes, sir. >> So, where's your driver's license at? >> It's in my wallet in my backpack. >> Where's your backpack? >> It's in the back. >> His backpack's in the back of the car. You You shouldn't be upset. You didn't do anything wrong. Buy this backpack. Give me his license. >> I asked for you to find his backpack and give me his license. >> That would be an indicator that the police officer is pulling me over. >> And it was only after identity verification that the teenager was released from the handcuffs, but at the cost of a controversial ticket. >> When I get done with you, you can explain to your mom. uh officer stands directly in front of your car and points to the side of the road and I start walking up to your car after you you slow down >> and pulling over in front of that car and then you take off. You have no common sense then. Okay. You have no common sense >> to another lane to drive. It's obvious because the other five cars I pulled over and did the same thing. >> What's your name? >> Coin. There you go, coin. >> Before letting him go, the police insisted, "I have a body cam, but will that same camera expose the truth about power being abused?" >> Handcuffs off. I detained you because you had no driver's license on you. Do you understand? seat in your car. I'm going to write you a citation as soon as you stop road. This is going to be a lesson learned for you. Look at me. It's common sense. Coin. Come on. I got your daughter. You get back. I'm sitting in my driver's seat. >> Yeah. Have a seat. You're fine. Here's your license bag. Next time a police officer stands directly in front of your car, directly in front of your car, and points to the side of the road, in front of the car, you should pull over, not slow down and go to the right and then take off. You understand? Let this be a learning experience. I'm sure I'll get a call from your mom, but the nice thing about what I have is a body camera. shows you slowly pulling over. And then >> even though Coin was a teenager, the police took extreme measures and treated him with contempt. Interfering with communications, failing to explain the reasons, and using other reasons to justify their actions are all signs of violations of Fourth Amendment rights. A routine [music] traffic stop, but the police turned it into a violent display of power. I didn't do nothing. I got his hand. I got his hand. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. >> Grand Rapids police approached the car and ordered everyone out. Hood was initially uncooperative, but when he exited the car and raised his hands, he was immediately handcuffed for reasons that were never explained, setting off a controversial scene that followed. Hello. Uh, I can't tell. Scott Cam turned the car off. >> Hey, man. What's your first name? What's your first name? >> I know. I'm talking to you, though. What's your first name? >> All right. I want to have you step out of the car and talk to me back here. All right. Well, take your seatelt off. Take your seatelt off, man. >> You're the one that littered out there at 110 Hall. So, I want you to come talk to me back here. No, please. >> Hey, >> I'm talking to you. So, I want you to step out. Step out of the car. >> Just step out. >> It's not a big deal. >> All right. Now, come on. Step out. Yeah, you're good. Step on out. Turn around. Put your hands on top of your head for me, boss. You are going to go in handcuffs. Doesn't mean you're going to jail. Okay. Give me your right hand. Keep your left hand on top of your head for me. >> Turn the car off, man. >> Give me the other hand. >> You're good. It's for littering, man. It's no big deal. It is a rustful offense. >> Despite claiming he was not carrying any illegal substances, Hood was still searched and placed in a patrol [music] car while the officers quickly moved on to check the rest of the group. >> Do you have anything illegal on anybody? >> No, sir. >> No. No. We or anything like any contraband at all? >> No, sir. >> No. Okay. >> Just relax. Okay. >> You were just coming from 110, right? 110? Yeah. >> Street Fighter store. Yeah. Oh, yeah. What the hell we do to do to all this lettering? Like >> I told you littering. >> Yeah, man. >> You take all this? >> Yeah. Hey, wait. Relax. >> Hey, do me a favor. Spread your legs for me. >> Just stay right there. Don't move. That's all I'm saying. >> How much cash you got on you? >> You got probation or parole or anything like that? >> No. Is there anything illegal in the car that you're worried about? >> What's up? >> Okay. [clears throat] All right. Like I said, doesn't mean you're going to jail or anything like that. All right. We're going to finish with your buddies up here at the car. >> I don't know what's going on. >> Don't do it. >> All right, buddy. After placing [music] Hood in the car, police continued to drag the remaining men out. One man was pinned to the ground and repeatedly punched in the head despite repeatedly complaining of difficulty breathing, but officers believed [music] he was faking it. >> I didn't do nothing. [screaming] >> Stop resisting. >> Stop resisting. >> I'm not resisting. >> Stop grabbing at him. >> Stop grabbing me. You guys doing all right? >> Yep. Yep. Stop, man. Just stop, bro. >> He me. Don't do that. Don't do that. >> Relax, bro. >> Relax. Grab his beard. I can't breathe. >> Breathing right here, BRO. >> I CAN'T BREATHE. >> You're breathing right here. I'm looking at you. >> I CAN'T BREATHE. >> I'm watching you. >> I can't breathe. >> You're good. >> I CAN'T BREATHE. I CAN'T BREATHE. >> You're breathing. >> I can't breathe. >> I'm right here with you, man. >> I'm right here with you. >> I CAN'T BREATHE. >> JUST RELAX and get your handcuffs on. You'll let you get up. >> On my eye. LOOK AT THIS. MY EYE. >> STOP. >> STOP. Stand up. >> On my eye. >> My eye. It's good right there. It's good. Mike. Mike. Mike. It's good. It's good. It's good. Got another gun in the back seat. >> Okay. >> Police asked the driver to get out of the car because he was not wearing a seat belt despite showing his identification. After an argument, they warned him they were going to arrest him and quickly subdued him. >> Hey, can you turn the car off for me? >> What? >> Just cuz that's how we do traffic stops. >> Thanks. Hey, keep the car off. >> Go on. >> I said keep the car off. >> It's off. Y'all don't >> You just You just turned it back on >> because y'all y'all just trying to open the door and >> I'm going to have you step out of the car. Okay. >> For what? >> Because I told you to undo your seat belt. Have you step out of the car and put your hands on top of your head >> for what? I ain't do nothing. >> Okay. I told you step out of the car. That's a law. >> Walking away from this. You get out of that car. Let's do our job. You'll be out of here. Okay. >> I'm for what? >> Because I gave you a lawful order. Step out of the car. >> I'm on my way to somewhere. I got >> Okay. So, get out of the car. >> That's where Where does it say that in the law? >> So, if you're not going to get out of the car, then you're going to be resisting. Okay. And that's an arrestable offense. >> Where where does it say that in the law? >> Hands on top of your head. Hands on top of your head. >> Keep them up there for me. All right. >> Hands on top of your head. Just drop that. Put your hands on top of your head. >> Where does it say that in the law book? >> Get out of the car. Put your head. >> Can I make a call first? >> Put your hands on top of your head. >> No, cuz I I don't know where Where's all this coming from? >> Because I just asked you to step out of the car. I just want to talk to you outside of the car before I put you before I place you under arrest. >> Put your hands out. >> I didn't do nothing. >> Okay, sir. I'm going to put you under arrest if you don't step out under out of the car. >> Don't Don't do it. Put your hands out of your head, [ __ ] >> We're taking them out our side right here. >> Don't move. >> All right, we'll let them deal with that. Then we're going to deal with you. >> Do you understand me? Are you hearing me? >> Do not move. After arresting the driver, the [music] police threatened the passenger sitting behind, forcing him to give up his phone and name, then restrained and arrested him because they found a gun near him. >> identified him as DFA hood. >> Okay. He doesn't He hasn't told you. >> No, we'll just give him that charge, too. I'm okay with it. So, I have a couple questions to ask you. Can you answer me? Can you at least acknowledge I'm here, please? All right, sir. Due to our policy, just cuz we did use force on you, I need to ask you how you're feeling from this incident. Are you willing to speak with me about the incident, sir? Sir, do you have a CPL, sir? Just so you know, you are going to jail tonight. Okay. Do you not want to speak with me? Okay. I can see you're breathing just fine. Do you have anything else on you shouldn't have, sir? Do you want to see an ambulance, sir? >> No. Okay. >> Um, I do kind of want to get a better search on him. >> Yeah. No problem. Are you going to give us trouble if we have you stand out? I want to make sure you don't have anything on you. Do you have any more drugs on you, sir? >> I don't have no drugs on. >> Okay. I'm going to have you stop out. You're not going to give us any more trouble, are you? >> Nothing. I don't >> except for the gun that fell off you, sir. >> No. >> Okay, sir. It fell off your person. [clears throat] >> Do you uh I'm going to have to get you out to do another search on you and double lock those cuffs now. Are you done giving us trouble, sir? >> Yeah. Beat me up. That's what my face [cough] >> I can't face. My I can't feel my face. I can barely breathe. My chest hurt. Why is your chest hurt, sir? >> Cuz I >> Cuz you were grabbing at people's guns, sir. >> I didn't grab nobody I never grabbed nobody's gun. Stop mine. >> Grabbing at the >> I didn't grab nobody's gun. >> Okay. Well, you're going to be charged with that, sir. >> Cuz you were grabbing at their waist area where >> I didn't grab nobody's waist. Y'all lying. >> And you grabbed one of the officer's hair. >> I didn't grab nobody's hair. I didn't grab nobody. I did not. >> And you had a gun? >> I did not. >> I did not. >> The police approached the man who had just been beaten, pressed him to give his name, and asked for his CL license. Although he denied grabbing the gun, [music] the police insisted he did. The police actions in this case showed signs of abuse of power, lack of transparency, and disproportionate [music] to the actual level of threat. As soon as the cameras rolled, an officer claimed to have the legal authority to force people to leave. But where's the evidence for this [music] authority? >> Why you act like a kid like that? What was the point of that? >> Huh? >> Yeah, likewise. There was there was a sign up there that said authorized personnel only. >> I'm on a sidewalk or in a parking lot unless I'm blocking vehicles. >> The very people who just [music] banned citizens from doing that are now openly breaking the law in front of the cameras. [music] A blatant contradiction right on the streets of Portland. >> Who's this clown right here? Just stroll with you. >> Jaywalk. >> You're doing it, huh? >> Oh, yeah. I can. >> You can just jaywalk? I have this is you get a tattoo over here. >> What's your excuse? >> What a clown. >> Looking for a reason, huh? >> That's me. You have a wonderful day, sir. >> Why you act like a kid like that? What was the point of that? >> Huh? >> Have a great day, sir. >> Yeah. Likewise. >> Try to act a little more mature next time, huh? I'm I'm having just >> trying to have a conversation. Don't I I'll I'll take care of myself. Don't worry about me. Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. That can be right here. Public easement. You ever heard of it? This dude is a just a clown. What? Way to make the Portland PD look good, huh? I even talked to the guy and he wants to come do all that extra stuff. I I just don't get it. You know, to be a pro improper position on the road and freaking all this extra nonsense is just absolutely pointless. You know, I just don't get it. Like, like, why do all that? Why? Why you you're going to jaywalk and tell me you got business over here and you can do it, but I can't, right? After you just walked up and started taking pictures of me when I know it's in their policy not to take pictures. >> An ambiguous rule is used as a threat. [music] If they don't like it, you will be kicked off public property. Is it legal? So this is such a violation if somebody's just so for instance they're saying that if you're recording and they don't like you that's a reasonable direction and they're going to trespass you from public property all because they don't like your right to record in public which is freaking [ __ ] can't be in the street dude this is a easement or public right away however you want to call it we could totally be right there you know what I mean there's nothing that says any law that says Cuz you can't stand out there. How would you get out of your car if that was the case, right? You can definitely stand right there. Sidewalk or no sidewalk. Awesome. This will be a good picture here. >> In front of my car. >> Not in front of your car. You could totally get by. Don't give me orders. It's >> ridiculous. I need you to move out from the front of my car, please. I wasn't even I'm nowhere. Look. Look where your car is. That's the thing. They're so used to being able to tell people what to do and people listening to them that that's what they do. You know, see, you got out fine. Problem. They're so used to people listening to them and and them ruling the world that if you don't listen to them, they get all buttth hurt and pissed off and like there's really no need for it. They don't have full authority over the whole world, you know? And they shouldn't want it. Like that whole philosophy. Oh [ __ ] startled me. No, I'm good. This isn't restricted. I don't see any signs here. >> I'm letting you know >> cuz there was one lady who just said I can talk to you. So, if you would just literally just go over the sidewalk, you're completely fine. You can record as much as you'd like over there. >> When citizens asked to provide their names and numbers instead of complying, many officers [music] remain silent and evasive. Is this how they hide their actions? >> There was there was a sign up there that said authorized personnel only. Apparently, it was torn down and we haven't got back up again. Uh, so with that being said, um, I guess it's unless it's officially posted, you're you're free to roam around basically wherever you want. >> How come how come how come you didn't know that in the first place? >> Well, I'm not aware of every sign that's posted on it. >> No, no, I don't mean the sign, but just like if it's not a posted, you're afraid to roam around cuz it is public property. Like that would have been more respectable, you know. >> Well, I don't know about respectable. I'm not I'm not I don't think I've been unrespectable to you. Well, you did tell me to get out of here because you're a uniformed officer, which is Listen, Unless somebody's committing a crime. >> I I understand you're you're you're what you're thinking and I understand what I'm thinking. The two aren't going to mix. >> Well, you have a right to I'm not trafficing. I'm on a sidewalk or in a parking lot, unless I'm blocking vehicles. [music] >> Listen, if if if unless somebody's committing a crime, you have no authority. None. >> Okay. It's true. >> So, but sure, that's your opinion. I'm going to try. >> Why are you guys so so arrogant out here? I don't get it. >> I don't think I'm being arrogant. You are sure that's your opinion. >> Make sure that we get somebody out here to get that sign. >> Yeah. I mean, even with signs, the way the law works is if we can walk in, we can walk in. That and that's true. >> Well, put the sign up and I'll test it with you and we can deal with it on in court. I >> I'm not the one who makes the signs. >> Oh, I'm just saying when they do, I'll come back and I've confir I've conf I've confirmed this with my lawyers. I just want you guys to follow the law. That's all. >> Your lawyers? >> Yeah. Oh, that's No, that don't matter. >> Okay. >> But I I've just just know that I've confirmed that with my lawyers. If there's the way it works, >> if there's no fence, barrier, door, or wall, it's open to the public. It's kind of that easy. >> The climax came when an officer made [music] a personal remark, turning the conversation into a public humiliation. Clear evidence of the unprofessionalism of the force. >> You leaving yet? Right here. >> Left. >> Left. >> This is where I work, dude. >> Oh, you're out here messing with me for no reason, man. Come on. taking pictures. Like, what's the big deal? >> What's the big deal? When you see a guy taking pictures, you know we could do this. Is that what you're doing? >> Like, what's the issue? >> Is that what you're doing? >> It's obvious what I'm doing. I even told you when you rolled up, I'm getting shots of you guys going in and out. I'm taking pictures. >> All I needed was a couple shots of a Mark car going in and out and I'm gone. I'm long gone. No, no, I'll be here now for a while just to prove a point. This is a a productive use of my time here. >> I I bet it is. Yeah, it is. >> I would imagine it's the most productive thing you've done all along. >> See you later right here. >> That's okay. Likewise. I feed them to your wife all the time in bed when you're at work. That's the [ __ ] up part, huh? While you're at work, she'sing with somebody like me that What a dick. And what's your name and badge number, bud? >> What's your name and badge number, bud? Hey, you have a you have a No, you did not. You refused to identify yourself. No, you did not. You refused. Trash [ __ ] Where are the good cops at? Send them out. I would not normally talk [ __ ] about somebody's life like that, Bay Fam. But this >> the citizen was not arrested as the police could not prove any wrongdoing. However, the incident did show that [music] Portland PD violated internal procedures. If a complaint is filed, the incident could lead to an internal investigation or civil lawsuit for harassment, retaliation, and violation of constitutional rights. Next, just because he was filming a police officer in public, he was immediately stopped by a female sergeant who touched him. But what was the reason? You >> mind >> am I detained or >> on here? I'm just going to hang on to it. Why are you touching? I'm talking to you. Okay. >> Why are you touching me? trying to, you know, in a public area try to uh record everything around here. >> There was no suspicion of wrongdoing. Yet, the sergeant took the [music] citizen's baton under the pretext of safety. Was this a legal right or just an excuse? >> Can I help you? >> Just looking around. Just >> can I ask why you're filming our facility? >> Pretty looks pretty cool actually because of the wash and everything. >> Uh-huh. >> Kind of curious how this this whole thing began, you know. >> Okay. You want to come up here and chat with me a little bit? Do you mind? >> Am I detained? Or >> I just need to talk to you cuz you've been filming our officers in and out. So, >> and with that, >> huh? >> And I can't do that. >> I mean, I was in a public area. So, >> about that. >> What's your name? >> I don't want to give you my name unless I'm I'm being threat of arrest. So, am I under arrest or is it >> You're not under arrest. Why are you filming our facility? Again, she reaffirms that the only thing she's concerned with is [music] that he's recording in public. >> I just told you I like the history around this place right here. >> Okay. Well, while you're talking to me, you got a baton here. I'm just going to hang on to it. Why are you touching for my safety while I'm chatting with you? >> At this point, >> when a male officer appeared, instead of ending the incident, he changed his tone, creating a completely different scenario to protect his comrades. >> Dealing with you. Can we go ahead and put your firearm up for my safety? >> Absolutely. No, I just need for my safety. So, you're licensed to carry that for my safety. You don't want to go ahead and put it up. You don't want to have that respect for me and my safety? >> No, sir. >> Well, while you're talking to me, you got a baton here. I'm just going to hang on to it while I'm talking to you. Okay. >> I'm not going to do any harm with you guys. >> Okay. >> So, what's your badge number? >> It's 51079. And what was your name? >> What was your name? >> It's Sergeant Buchanan. >> Badge number. What's your name and badge number? >> I'm sorry, sir. I'm having a hard time hearing you. What's your name and badge number? >> Sure. My name's Officer Apadaka. My badge number is 100040. >> Now, I want to know why she touched me. >> I I just walked out here. I don't know what's going on. >> I'm just over here doing a story. >> Okay. >> When I saw this wash right here, I'm It's pretty cool. You know, I don't want to know what this whole thing started like the washes being here or the police station was here first. It's a pretty >> So, you touching me? I But I want to know why. Cuz you think I'm a threat? Because the story or >> You've got a baton on your hip, sir. That I'm safe and that you're safe. >> Oh, trust me. That's why I'm right here, you know, away from you. >> Can you explain to me why you're filming over here? >> It's the white. >> Cuz I like to film in public area. So, public area, right? >> The climax, a citizen [music] was handcuffed just for filming. But soon after, the reason for the detention suddenly changed. What is being hidden? >> Now, this is also very important. Notice at this point, this officer says, "I don't know what's going on." Oh, he knows exactly what's going on. I guess maybe he's just hoping that if he says he doesn't know what's going on, his accountability will be removed for helping her doing what she's doing. >> Being detained. Have more cameras in the back. >> Okay. >> This is ridiculous. >> In a public area, we'll figure out what's going on, but right now I'm detaining you. All right, I can see the confusion. >> All right, he's going to hang on to your backpack. We're going to walk up here. >> Okay, I'm not searching you. >> I am glad that even though the mail cop knows that what's going on here is wrong and he refuses to stop it, he does at least keep the man's camera recording [music] and keep it in close proximity to what's going on. Check. Make sure you point it this way, please. >> Yeah, you got it. Mine's pointing this way, too. you a first auditor. >> I'm a Viking fan, too. I know it doesn't mean much to you right now, but >> Well, you're you're um on our facility. You're you're videotaping police operations. I wasn't in a public area. >> I was told you were over here standing on our property filming. >> 10 minutes later, everything ended with a vague apology. But was this wrongful detention really just a misunderstanding? >> I know that the sign is right here, but you can go past the sign. >> Okay. >> So, we're going to review our cameras and and if you if that if we got some wrong information and that indeed is the case and as understanding it might be out of handcuffs here in a second. >> So, we got we got to investigate it if it's reported to us, right? We can't take any anybody's side in anything like that. So, check those. >> I'm going to be checking them. Um, I don't know how to work the system, but I'm going to find somebody who does, and we're going to be working on that. Okay. >> What's your name, sir? >> My name. >> Okay. >> I did nothing wrong. >> Nothing wrong. >> Do I hear you, man? If you're just if you're just out here filming, it's obviously a public area. The the track is public as well, but what it sounds like was reported to my sergeant is that you are on our private drive past the don't trespassing signs. Again, you can >> if it was a misunderstanding or miscommunication on our part, then we're going to apologize and take you out of handcuffs in just a moment. >> So, like I said, if if everything you're telling us is true, then you're going to be out of custody. >> All right. Is this your earpiece? I'm going to just put this in your bag. I'm not looking inside or anything. I'm just put it in there for our safety. So, turns out that it was misinformation on my part and miscommunication. It sounds like you were on the sidewalk and you weren't on our property. Free to leave. >> You see this guys? Honestly, man, he didn't really pick a good day anyway, though. We're close. >> We don't do anything. >> I believe you can go on Tucson and see how that goes. >> I'm not aware of any form, but I know you can call the Office of Internal Affairs, formerly Office of Internal Affairs, now Office of Professional Standards. I get that the situation. Can I pick this up? >> Yeah. >> Can I show you guys where I was? >> I I would be happy to walk with you if you want to show me where you were. Citizens may sue public officials for violating their constitutional [music] rights pursuant to 42 US code SS1983. Individuals/organizations [music] are required to pay damages to the injured party. Violating police [music] officers may be disciplined, have their licenses suspended, fired, or expelled depending on the policy of the [music] agency/ police chief. The incident clearly demonstrates police abuse of power, unreasonable detention, [music] temporary seizure of property, baton, backpack, camera. This could lead to an internal complaint. If the citizen sues, [music] the police could face charges of violating their First Amendment rights, public filming, and Fourth Amendment rights, protection from unlawful detention and seizure. Next, the courts have made it clear the public has a right to record police. But that night in the middle [music] of Tucson, that right was crushed in the headlights. Literally. >> Seem to be having an [music] issue here. >> You seem to be having an issue shining that light in my face. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. He's blinding me with his light, too. >> I said, "What you like, mother?" >> That's what I'm talking about. >> A pig with a gun in my face. >> You keep telling me that I'm escalating. >> As soon as you raise your camera, you immediately become a target. And that's when things [music] start to spiral out of control. Hey, >> what's your YouTube man? >> Gentlemen, can I help you? >> No. >> Okay. >> You seem to be having an issue here. >> You seem to be having an issue shining that light in my face. >> Yeah. Okay. So, dude, you're coming up on this job. I am. I am. It's dealing with you now. You just made it. Dealing. >> Go. Go back to your job. >> Okay. I am. >> You're doing great, guys. You're really doing a service for the community. >> Hey. Hey. >> Out of the street. You shut your mouth. Don't come up. >> Come here, boy. >> You wonder why cops get shot? That's probably why. Because you treat people like that. >> Mark Brown walks up and tells us that he heard the cop calling for backup on the scanner. for claiming that somebody was shining a light at him. >> Said, "I can't stand in the street, but he can." Right? >> He made you stand right there, didn't for our safety, don't stand in the street, but he'll put you between two. >> Did he make you stand right there? >> No. I mean, >> just tell me to stand right there. >> An officer nicknamed Tippy Hat appeared. His actions that night were no longer the execution of duty, but a dangerous display of power. >> You don't have to You don't have to talk to him. >> Don't interfere. You guys can do all you want. >> Shut up, Tippy Hat. I'm not like the other guys. I will win in court. Shut up. Shut up. >> But keep your hands where I can see them, man. What are you doing? >> I want you to back up over that way. >> Put your hands where I can back up over the sidewalk, bro. >> Yeah. Okay. Well, I have to control this area. I'm telling you to back up over this way. Control this area. >> Don't touch me. >> Don't you touch me again. >> I'm telling you to back up that way. Relax. This is how cops No, you you don't want to do this. No, I'm not listening to you. You're not controlling. >> What's wrong with you? >> Go do Go do your traffic stop. Don't touch me, mother. >> Hey, I'll warn you. If you happen, this is why bad things happen. >> Then you listen to me. >> I want you to stand back at my car and you can film all you want. But right now, I'm controlling the scene, not you. >> Where's the scene? >> Right here where this car is in this cop car is >> over there. Go over that way or over that way. >> Under threat of arrest. >> If you interfere, yes. >> Go back to your work. >> I'm watching you film my officer in a car that's interfering. >> Stand over there or stand over there in the street. Are youarded, man? Why are you bullying me? What's wrong with you? Why is your hands in your pockets? What are you doing? >> Are you see hands in your pockets? Why you not wearing your glasses? >> Go do your job. >> Cuz my hands I'm doing my job. I'm doing my job. >> Put your hands on me again. >> Stop trying to escalate, Tippy Hat. There's nothing going on. Just relax. >> Stop trying to cause problems. >> You know I'm not >> We know what you're doing. You're trying to get a You're trying to get a rise out of us and it's not going to happen. That's the very last thing I want you. >> Then back up. No, I'm trying to document stuff, man. >> You can document from over there. You don't have to have him get in the officer's window. And you know that. >> Just stay back. >> You absolutely know that. >> Just stay back. >> Stop trying to ask. >> Back off or you'll be arrested. When a camera makes the police claim to have control of the sidewalk, you know something is seriously wrong. >> You're usually chill. You want me to buy you dinner so you >> You know damn well I'm chill. And you know damn well I'm So what's going on in the office window? >> I've never seen you act like this. What do you need? Are you hungry? I'll buy you a burger. I'm dead serious, bro. You chill out. You can stay here and film all you want. >> We are chill, man. >> But you need to [music] do it from a distance that I feel safe. >> Look, man, your feelings have nothing to do with this, bro. But again, if you feel hungry and that makes I'll buy you a burger, dude. >> You know damn well that's not what's going on. >> I know damn well that is what's going on because I've dealt with you a 100 times and I So something's different tonight. I'm telling you. I get it. When I get hungry, bro, I get crazy. I get it. I'm not kidding, bro. I'm serious. I get it. Ask my wife, dude. If I get hungry, I just I'm mad at everything. >> Is that what's up? >> No, you know what's up. >> He's the problem. >> He's not a problem. >> Yes, >> I'm the problem. >> window and I don't need that. >> Leave the officer alone to do his job. Don't stick your face in his window. Everything else is fine. >> He's doing his job. >> You said filming within inside of his window was interfering. >> In case you didn't realize, officers don't like you coming up to their car and going to the window. >> What you like, [ __ ] >> With a gun in my face. >> You keep telling me that I'm escalating. He's escalating anytime you want. >> Leave him alone then. >> Anytime I want. >> Yeah. >> As in what? >> As in what though? Anytime I want what? >> What are you going to do? >> You're a tough guy. >> Something. You're a tough guy. >> The difference between me and you is you got qualified immunity though. You got that bull >> state certification to be a slave whiper mother. >> I actually haven't gotten a video of Tucson police acting up in probably three or four years, man. [music] Until right now. Why? Why, man? Just tell look after this stop. Just tell him. We come out, we record, we do our thing, we don't interfere. Just stop. Boy, your homeboy over here as soon as we walked up is intentionally blinding us with his light trying to cause a >> just [music] because of an expired registration. Five police cars showed up in the actual crime, no one showed up to solve it. >> And obviously you guys are well aware of all your rights and all that kind of stuff and obviously duty to cooperate and all that. We know what that is, right? >> Is that like when you say pull down your pants and show me your bum hole? I have I'm [music] serious. It's like what? Where does it >> No, I'm not trying to be >> condescending. The duty to cooperate. >> So, the duty to cooperate would be cooperating with our investigation. That's it. Giving us a reasonable distance, but continuing to maintain your right to record. >> Mhm. >> Sure. >> All those things. >> You sound [music] like re things that reasonable people would do. >> Would a reasonable person try to blind me with the brightest light on his car as I walk up? And and I've never had any problems with most of you guys because most of you guys haven't done this stuff to me in probably four or five years. That was about the last time this happened years ago. the last time things really hit the fan with you guys and it be and it was because of exactly what this guy was doing just trying to antagrine. >> But all I want to make sure is is that he has a reasonable room to work and we're safe. That's it. That's all. >> Unreasonable unreasonable people don't don't get to be reasoned with a photo. >> I apologize if I didn't identify myself. I don't have Facebook. >> No. Good for you. >> Throw them on your ex profile. >> No, no ex profile either. >> Hey, don't pick a fight next time. Okay, man. >> I'm serious. Don't pick any more fights. If you want to fight, you want to fight, don't pick any more fights. Have a good night. >> I always have good nights and good days. We ended up with one, two, three, four. We ended up with five Tucson police units for expired [music] registration because people were recording it. >> The incident ended without formal [music] arrests, but left clear signs of abuse of power, conflict between police and the community, and the potential for future escalation [music] into violence. The cameraman warned, "The more the police confront and treat people as enemies, the more they foster hostility from society." A car breaks down on the side of the road, but it quickly turns into a tense confrontation when a Mesa officer shows up with a controversial request. >> My guess is now that backup is here to direct traffic, he's going to do what cops love to do. got all this stuff out the window. >> He kept approaching, giving every excuse to demand ID. But was this really legal authority [music] or just predatory? >> I'd move on to the next one, but I don't want him to I don't want him with him. >> He's asking if we should move on to the next one. I'm saying I'm just afraid the second we'll leave they'll come with you. All right. Oh, there's another one coming, though. Oh, >> got a ride along. >> It's kind of weird, huh? >> She's got like an ID badge on her. I heard they're they're sending social workers out with police now. >> Yeah. >> My guess is now that Backup is here to direct traffic, he's going to do what cops love to do. Go get some ID. So, he's closing the right turn lane. >> Just so it verifies you as a driver. >> Shouldn't have to give this. She doesn't want to. >> It's up to her. >> She does. >> She's sus. If she's not suspected of a crime, 13-1412. Unless she's suspected of a crime, and a broken car is not a crime. Guys, notice the predatory practices here. She's already said that she doesn't want to give ID and so as soon as she gets in the car, he gets as close as he can to block her in there and to single her out and have her separated. So he's he's going to bully her now. He's going to try to intimidate her in >> Be careful. From a simple request, things quickly turn into isolation, separating the victim from the crowd, a familiar predatory tactic. >> So first he says that showing her ID will prove that she was driving. Now he's changed his mind and said he needs ID because her car broke on the roadway. >> No, that's not true. That's absolutely wrong. I'm with him. No, I'm with them. >> Can you go back over there, please? >> Look, she doesn't have to give her ID. >> Arizona statute says only if she's lawfully detained or arrested. It's not a big deal, man. The tow truck will come. >> You don't have to violate her rights. I'm with him. >> You didn't come with him? >> Yeah, I did. >> What's that? No, I came with him. >> I came here with him. >> It's not a big deal, man. The tow truck will come. You don't have to violate anybody's rights. >> You get to be the hero for, you know, helping them out. And that's that. We don't want to give our identification. >> That's the way the Arizona statute works, man. She's got to be lawfully uh detained for a crime. This unfortunate situation, but it's not a crime. >> Got all that stuff out. >> Any other gentlemen? Can you just move back a little forward please? >> Sidewalk. That's all I ask. >> How you doing, Thomas? >> Sidewalk. >> Hey, um, can we get a, uh, >> are you his supervisor? >> Tensions escalate. People refuse to leave. Confront the police directly, forcing him to reveal his true nature. >> No. Okay. Can we get his supervisor? I'm having a little bit of an issue with him. >> You don't know who his boss is. >> Is he your boss? >> You just do whatever he says, though. >> Nope. car. >> You don't have >> You guys are on the sidewalk. That's all I ask. >> Look, I'm with them. I'm with them. >> No, you're not. >> Yeah, I am. Ask him right now. I came here with him. >> Just the sidewalk and we're good. >> Cool. >> Tommy, sir, >> where you go, Tom? What's your bachelor? >> So, he's bullying this woman and they're bullying everybody else back so he can bully her. >> Sidewalk. >> Thomas, what's your best? >> So, he's going to bully this woman and he's going to bully everybody back so that he can single her out and bully her alone. Luckily, this woman does an excellent job of simply ignoring the predator. She's going through her car getting things out that she wants to take with her. But the predator is kind of just assuming that she's looking for her ID to give to him. She never intends to pull it out, though, as you'll see. And she just carries on about her business as if he's not even there. >> And I have my sister get the things she needs out of the trunk. You >> have to ask permission to get [ __ ] out of this vehicle. >> Yeah. That's a pretty sweet trip off, you guys. >> You guys could have just come and been the heroes. Tell them to stop trying to ID people. No, I'm relaxed. You don't. I'm relaxed. I'm relaxed. You guys could have come and just been the heroes. >> No one's trying to be here, boss. >> Stop trying to ask for her ID. She already told you she doesn't want to. >> You don't need to verify anything, man. She already told you she doesn't want to. You're bullying her now. >> I'm relaxed. Stop. >> Stop. Nobody's in interfering. There's no investigation. Nobody's interfering. >> Suck off. >> Speaking isn't interference. You are trying to unlawfully bully her. >> Can I cop you over here? You over here ID. >> Catastrophic failure. That's all it is. >> That's all that I need ID. It was not an >> I don't understand why you can't obey the law. So, I want to verify that she's the right owner. >> It doesn't matter. >> It doesn't matter. You're not >> You're not required to do that. >> And when the car was safely taken away, the truth was revealed. The men in uniform today were nothing more than predators in the guise of heroes. some areas now. I'm not sure if >> they give her an estimated level. >> So, it's Officer Allen. >> Mesa Police Department. >> Well, I don't know if she's a social worker or if she's just on a ride along. So, I don't know if she's a civilian or a public servant. So, appreciate you chilling. >> I appreciate you chilling out, Alan. I really do, man. That's all it takes, brother. I appreciate you coming and directing traffic as well, putting up cones, making the situation safe. I really appreciate it. So, the thing about praising these officers is it's the it's kind of like I was talking to somebody about this the other day. You know, why do people praise police for just being normal human beings? Like, we don't we do praise someone and say, "Thanks for not being a piece of shit." And I said, "Well, you know what? I've got a toddler that's potty training. I don't praise my my 13-year-old for not pissing his pants. I I praise my my three-year-old for not pissing her pants because for her it's a big deal, right? Well, cops are like toddlers, right? They piss their pants all the time. >> The private tow truck arrived first [music] and took the car straight to the repair shop, bypassing the police impound lot. The female driver was not arrested or charged, and her rights were upheld. The video ends with the message, "Officers Allan and Thomas are exposed as predators who use their uniforms to abuse their power and intimidate civilians." Next, just entering a public space, he was hissed at, shouted at, and threatened to call the police. Is this power being abused right before his eyes? >> What was it? >> I'm wondering what you might be up to. >> I'm I'm good. Nope. Don't need your help. Appreciate it. >> Don't really care. That's fine. But you're not capturing anything from over here. The official insisted you can't film without permission. But really, does the law say that >> I'm going to get >> got some stuff. >> I'm I can't hear what you're saying. >> I'm wondering what you might be up to cuz I'm not sure that you're allowed to be videoing. >> Why wouldn't I be allowed to record her? >> Okay. Yeah, we close at two. We can close door close that too. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> That's interesting. It doesn't say that you guys close at two, does it? >> Let's see. Oh, okay. Cool. Well, that won't be enough time for me to do what I need to. So, I'll just come back tomorrow. No, that's fine. I'll get what I can today and I'll just come back tomorrow. It's all right. And then we got this store. I got a just about a minute left here. And I very clearly did not read that time right as it does say two. See? Interesting. Closing at two. I got right about looks like 30 seconds. Actually looks like about a minute and 30 seconds. I don't have anything to hide. >> Let me just get a couple back here before it gets to two real quick. >> I think you have to have my permission to be on there. You can't >> Did you >> can't take my video and then >> Did you want to post it or do anything about it? So, if you have something I can >> The police appeared [music] quietly surrounded then suddenly questioned trying to turn an ordinary citizen into a lawb breakaker. >> Can I help you? No, I'm good, man. >> Okay. Just wondering. Just kind of taking pictures of my car, so I'm wondering what's going on. >> Cool. Take pictures of my car. >> I don't need help, bud. Appreciate it. [music] >> Why you're Why you're taking pictures of my car. >> Yeah, I understand. I don't need help, dog. I'm good. Appreciate it. >> Went in. He said, "My car, my car." So, there was no need for me to for me to correct him at this point. Um, just let him [ __ ] figure it out. I wanted to see how far he was going to take that. So, got a air freshener. Got a Canon Canon camera. Not candid camera, but a Canon camera. Got that one. Oh, there's another county sheriff. Yeah, looks pretty good. Not too bad. >> How you doing? >> Good. Good. How about you? >> Good. >> The reason you put your foot on my tire >> again. I don't need help, bud. Appreciate it. >> Good. >> Okay. >> Thanks. >> So, why are you here? >> I don't need help, guys. I'm good. >> I'm just I'm just trying to figure out why you're here. >> I'm good. Don't need help. Appreciate it. >> Why are you here? >> Again, I don't I don't need help. >> Don't need help, bud. Don't need help. I'm I'm good. Nope. Don't need your help. Appreciate it, though. So never ever answer questions like that. >> A debate broke out. One side said internal policy. The other [music] side asserted constitutional rights. Who was wrong? >> So what are you videotaping for? >> Um taking pictures, but I'm not doing an eye test. >> So you can't take pictures from behind because there's privacy and security of people's information. So >> there's but is there people's information there or >> you know where you can videotape and in specific areas that you can >> and I'm I'm trying to get clarification. >> You can't do anything from here because you might get a shot of something there. You might get a shot of something there and that is personal privacy. I don't know why you want to capture our camera station. Don't really care. That's fine. But you're not capturing anything for >> right? So, there are specific areas that you can and cannot videotape. Regardless of what you may or may not believe, you can capture from here all that you'd like. You cannot capture from behind on our side. >> Like, why would I not be able to take pictures of the eye charts? I just don't get it. >> Uh because then you could pass on the eye chart to somebody else who can then memorize the lines and cheat. >> I'm just letting you know where you can videotape you. It's not a free-for-all where you can videotape wherever you like. It's not. So >> what uh if if I mean if you want to print it out. Yeah. I I your policy doesn't really matter to me though cuz I I don't have to follow your policy. You guys do, right? How can you have somebody removed from a public building, public area? >> Because you're violating people's >> in the middle of business hours. The service window was suddenly slammed shut just because of a camera or because they were trying to hide something. Uh, how am I supposed to get help if I need help here, ladies? I'm just trying to get what I need to get so I could be on my way. But senior engineer, don't need them. Don't need them. Don't. But I do need that. Okay. I'll be curious if finance shuts down. So, you see that these two have shut their windows and I can no longer get services from them, which is really ridiculous cuz I just need public records. But yeah, they've decided that they were shutting their shutting their doors or their doors shutting their windows. This is the only one that remains open. You go in there. housing and public works, building planning, development, all that stuff are shut down. Go to the finance counter. And now, and now, let's pay attention cuz they were open and now they have this sign up, right? They're shut down now. So, they went from open to closed now. All because somebody has a camera and she's not the one who did it. It was the other lady. Let's see if we could get her. Citizens may sue public officials for violating their constitutional rights pursuant 242 US code SS1983. Individuals/organizations are required to pay damages to the injured party. Violating police officers may be disciplined, have their licenses suspended, fired, or expelled depending on the policy of the agency/ police chief. The official cameraman filed a public records request demanding personnel records, [music] salaries, emails, and phone bills of the employees involved. He claimed he would return within 10 days as required by law. The video shows signs of public officials abusing their power, police cooperation and cover-ups, and the closure of public services because of cameras that could be considered civil rights violations. I got him proned out in the driveway my way for a 75 and a 32 is in his right pocket. If >> you're going to cop me just ask that you be a little gentle with my left shoulder. >> A man was just looking for a lost cat but was almost shot dead right in front of a stranger's house. >> Crawl backwards just [music] a little bit. >> On your knees. >> I'll go ahead and volunteer. There's a knife in my left pocket and then uh or sorry, a knife in my right pocket. >> Tell me what's going on. >> So, I basically was looking for my cat. >> Just because he knocked on the [music] door to find a lost cat, a man was ordered to kneel in broad daylight by police with guns drawn. But what makes you even more outraged is the reason they aimed the gun at him. >> Keep your hands up. >> Adam, >> all the way up. You're going to cop me. Just ask that you be a little gent with my left shoulder. It's a little >> He was unarmed and had made clear his intentions, [music] but he was still treated as an armed criminal. You reach for that gun, you will get shot. Do you understand? >> Yeah. Get on your [music] knees. Do not reach for that gun. Crawl backwards just a little bit. >> On your knees. Now crawl to your left. I want you in the driveway. >> Hands on. >> Yeah. I We'll If you're going to cut me, just ask that you be a little gentle [music] with my left shoulder to uh I appreciate you being gentle. I'll go ahead and volunteer. There's a knife in my left pocket. And then uh or sorry, a knife in my right pocket and then a magazine in my left pocket. >> All right. >> All right. Come back here. >> We're clear. >> Not how I anticipated myself. >> What's your name? >> While the man was cooperative, showing no signs of a crime, the deputy [music] used sarcastic language. Knock on my door with a gun, you'll see the muzzle. Was this a warning or a threat? >> Josiah Rivera, where do you say uh >> like maybe two minutes ago? >> Tell me what's going on. >> So, I basically was looking for my cat. I have an air tag on her collar. So, when I checked the location cuz I hadn't seen her in a little bit, the location pinged to here. So, I went over here and knocked on the doors just seeing if someone had taken in the lost cat. And then no answer. I heard the dog barking. So, I figured Oh, and I heard a baby crying, so I was like, "Okay, well, I figured someone knows that I'm sitting for her again." Um, I'm assuming y'all may have gotten a call about over on 7:15, like two streets over. >> Yeah. I I The guy there though answered and he was like, "Yeah, we haven't seen a cat." So, and then after that, I gave up last night cuz it was like 9:45 at night and I figured I didn't want to knock on people's doors that late at night. >> What kind of cat is it? >> I'm not very good with cat. I It's It She was a feral that I brought in, so I'm not very good with it. >> What's her name? Mishka. You'll see on the Air Tag, which I can show you on my cell phone. You'll see the Air Tag location. It popped up. It says Mishka. >> Um I just I've had that gun for years. >> I I I carry all the time. I was going to head to the range and then I got the ping that it that she was over here. So, I was like, "Oh, let me just stop in real quickly." >> It's uh it's there's an internal holster on my pants. So, it's not pocket carry. where >> I I if you open up the in uh the cargo pocket and you feel inside there's a cloth holster on there that it's a soft holster if you feel inside there. You see here? >> Yes, sir. >> But you're It was in your right pocket. >> Yes, in the cargo. In the cargo pocket. >> Yeah, in the cargo. >> The gun was in his cargo. >> Yeah. I I make sure to keep it only in there cuz I know pocket carry is a little gray in Texas. >> A cat's air tag collar suddenly shows up at a stranger's door. [music] coincidence or evidence that something is a miss with the homeowner story, >> you know, in itself looks crazy, you know, like if if you're in a neighborhood, you know, and you're a girl, you know, and you step out and you're like, "Holy crap, there's an Air Tag right here." Right. And then you see a guy with a gun. >> I understand the optics of it. >> Oh, perfect. Perfect. Thank you. Now, I'm actually wondering if there's a glitch in the Apple Air Tag system because when I uh pinged it >> Mhm. Okay. >> And I'm wondering if maybe somehow the Air Tags are glitching because >> Okay. >> It would be the second time. Okay. The cat is here. >> No, the collar's here. >> Why is the collar here? >> You I don't know. >> Like a purple collar with the >> Yeah. So, I mean, I don't know why it's here. I'm assuming it fell off the or it broke or the cat scratched and unbuckled or >> is it in her in the house somehow? No, it's in it's it was on the front porch. >> Okay, that's very odd because I I honestly thought it was it was going to be glitching again. That's why I came out here to see if it would if if someone had taken the cat in. >> So, I mean, obviously it led here, right? >> Yeah. Well, for I'm more just surprised it's not [music] still on her because it's like, you know, normally the cat's never scratched the car at all before and I've had >> like she's taken very well with the car. That's why I'm very surprised. Makes me wonder if honestly I have no clue, but why they would leave it on someone's porch. I don't know. And if had I just seen the caller, I would have just grabbed the caller. That's why I was >> I seeing and asking. >> Yeah. >> Uh kind of sounds to me like while Josiah was knocking at the door, pinging the collar, the female homeowner inside was removing the collar from Mishka. Then the husband came home and concocted this whole story about how some mysterious person just laid the cat collar on the doormat. >> They found marijuana and a gun at the same time [music] but let him go. Why were the police so lenient? And is this a sign of an arbitrary and contradictory legal system? >> Um is this your type? >> I still want to step out. >> And then uh you can show me on your on the cell phone. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Just show me on your phone real quick. So if you want to continue it, >> any questions? >> Um, >> my suggestion would be not to carry a gun like that >> in the open if you're looking to help with neighbors. Just to be clear, they're suggesting that Josiah not do what the cops do all the time, even when they're off duty. >> I unloaded the mags, the pistol, and both mags are in there. Okay. I just want to get shot in the back. I just want to get shot in the back. >> Okay. Is >> that a 19? >> Yeah. Okay. >> Be careful. >> Terrible grip on it. I've been looking to get a stippled exit just so it handles it better. >> All good here. >> Appreciate the sir. >> Appreciate your understanding. >> Citizens may sue public officials for violating their constitutional rights pursuant to 42 US code SS1983.
