the suffk police department a mother got caught up in a mess after her kids argued and someone called the cops the Fourth Amendment says the right of the people to be secure in their persons houses papers and effects effects against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated she told the police's supervisor on the phone it was a family issue she could handle and didn't want cops on her property just meet her kids by the road but officer Leonard parked right in her driveway anyway and when the mother told her to leave the cops said she was obstructing justice and handcuffed her then officer Savage showed up with backup acting wild yelling and threatening to arrest everyone there this wasn't about keeping the peace it was cops bullying an innocent woman for speaking up there's somebody on this property there is nobody on this property with no warrant show it to me exactly I have the right to where's warrant chill outa chill youbody else get here this hard property you want give me in hand everybody else getting here right walk away now right cuz you want to have the you don't see that sign say private property exactly I'm police I okay no you cannot you can you scene in front of my house they said okay y'all go to the room and the kids meet you at the road so put you back up the I'm not worried I'm taking this to court man I I don't got time for this put her land and as the homeowner she had every right to say that Virginia code section 1 1200 says the common law of England in so far as it is not repugnant to the principles of the Bill of Rights and Constitution of Virginia shall continue in full force meaning her private property should be respected unless there's a warrant or emergency there wasn't either here the supervisor even agreed they could talk off her property so there was no excuse for trespassing officer Leonard didn't care and stayed in the driveway turning the mother's words this is private property into a fight that ended with her in cuffs more cops showed up acting like they own the place not her this was corrupt police stepping all over a woman's basic rights what what I'm ask woman you need talk to is my daughter reasonable cop would think handcuffs made sense here she said herself I'm no threat to you and she wasn't armed or fighting then after they got to the station officer Leonard tried to add an assault and battery charge on top of the obstruction charge saying the mother was balling up her fist which sounds like a total lie to pile on more punishment officer Savage and the backup made it a circus threatening people filming and acting out of control this was corruption plain and simple targeting a woman who didn't deserve it I mean why do I have to comply with her when I I mean you're not kids and grandkids upset all because she wouldn't let cops push her around the First Amendment says Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech and she was just using that right when she said it's not against the law for me to talk in my own yard instead they called it obstruction and now she's fighting both charges in court with a lawyer the video shows it all cops arguing ignoring her and dodging questions about why they were even there the suffk police department hasn't done anything to stop these officers showing how broken the system can be This Woman's Court battle
