We got another video for you from Code Blue Cam. This one is teen's brilliant escape plan ruins his life in minutes. Let's go. As usual haven't seen it. Oh wow. Crash crash send rescue send rescue. When officers receive an alert about a stolen car, a routine traffic stop spirals into a reckless chase with a suspect who will go to any lengths to not surrender. On the [ __ ] ground. GET ON THE [ __ ] GROUND NOW. AROUND 10:17 a.m. on August 29th, 2023, West Alice police officers receive a Flock alert that a stolen silver Kia Sorento Okay, Flock alert. Flock is a company. Flock puts up these cameras that are on a lot of the intersections. And what they do is they will alert on stolen vehicles. They will alert on people who have warrants. They will alert on a lot of things. They are LPRs, license plate readers. That's what they are. Kind of controversial in some places. Some people feel like it's a violation. Most of the the cameras I know of are typically in at major intersections. Some might be in neighborhoods. HOAs might put them in, but that's what a Flock camera is. Dodge has been spotted near Lincoln Avenue in Wisconsin. But as they move in on the vehicle, the driver suddenly tries to take off sparking a chase that's about to shake up the entire neighborhood. And as more officers join the pursuit, his driving only grows more reckless, blowing through traffic laws. And north on 78 from Beecher. Move, [ __ ] Move. Speed is about 45. [laughter] >> Chasing for a stolen vehicle. Okay, who he was honking at are the people who don't move over for law enforcement. It's so frustrating because if we do certain maneuvers, we could put ourselves at risk. So, we need people to move over to the right. So, please, if you see lights and sirens, pay attention. Move to the right. And might be bailing. He's going through yards at West He purposely went on the sidewalk. >> 78 on the sidewalk, no pedestrians. Black male Black male South on 79 from Rogers, no pedestrians. Going about 40. Went through a bunch of yards. Speed is about 45. It went south on 78. South on 78. Dang. Good. Good. Good. Go. He's going to go back westbound on Lincoln. Westbound on Lincoln. Pull over, pull over. And look, the police officer is having to watch for all the surroundings. He's having to call out. He needs to know what streets he's on. Calling out speeds. Uh this is these pursuits are not easy. They're doing a very good job. As the pursuit continues, officers try deploying stop sticks to bring the vehicle to a halt, but the teen's erratic driving and sudden turns allow him to swerve away in a different direction at the last second, making each attempt unsuccessful. Jeez. Into a park. Jump in, jump in. Get behind him. You got it? So now Traffic light, pedestrians light. Once again, stolen vehicle. Come up to a dead end on a two by McCarty. Slow down, slow down, slow down, slow down. Yep. Called out going south. Secondary unit is calling it out right now. Uh just you know if there's any pedestrians. None as of right now. No pedestrians. Trying to cross over, get into the eastbound lanes. And he's getting back in going south from Beloit. And two Honey Creek. He's on Honey Creek and he'll be coming up to 76. He's at probably 60 to 70 right now. JEEZ. OH. OH. GAME. OKAY, so I'm sorry to stop it right here, but the guy driving is clearly probably a trainee and the guy in the passenger is the field training officer. So, this is a newer cop or deputy that's in the driver's pa- driver's seat. One. Yeah, one running. One running. Right here. He's through the yard. He's still going east. HE'S STILL GOING EAST. Ran across the creek, up into Get ON THE GROUND. IN THE CREEK, IN HONEY CREEK. Surprised he's running away from that accident. That's north from the bank. East now. On the [ __ ] GROUND. HE WENT BACK IN HERE. BACK IN HERE. STOP. STOP, POLICE. STOP, POLICE. GET ON THE [ __ ] GROUND. GET on the ground. He's coming back west. Get on the [ __ ] ground. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. 26, I GOT HIM. HE'S BEHIND THE HOUSE HERE, BEHIND THE HOUSE. I GOT HIM. GIVE THE GIVE the address. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> Looks like his face Oh. Go get the address. This is where you don't look. 26, I got one. Hands behind your back. >> You use the force necessary to get him to comply. Stupid. You got anything illegal on you? Is this the only one? This is the one I saw bail from the car. Our cousin ran over here. Right here. Got him in custody. Custody and custody. Stop reaching. Okay. Okay. Stop reaching. We'll get you an ambulance, okay? No, you're going to walk up to the front, guys. You want to help on the other side here, bud? Pull up his pants. It's amazing, though. I've seen bad guys in pursuits. Man, they crash into people's cars and they don't get hurt. A lot of them aren't even wearing seat belts. And then the the people they crash into will get seriously injured sometimes and even die because they're the total carelessness, total entitlement that they you just nothing no nothing matters and nobody else matters and this is what the result is. But his tactics won't last for long. While the chase may be over, the situation is far from settled. If officers think they can now start gathering details from the 18-year-old, they're in for a surprise because despite his injuries from the crash, he isn't even ready to give up his name. I wasn't driving, sir. Come on. Something lucky, I just bailed out. He left me. He's dark skinned. Why are you taking your pants off? You have a rescue coming to 7420 Bennett. All right, get that black male laceration to the face. He's got that was running from the car. Hey, man. What's your name? Preferred Apartments going to need to know it. Is the guy's vehicle Yeah, man. You're We got a ambulance coming on you. You got a split on your forehead, okay? Whatever happened happened, okay? You got a cut on your knee. Left me. I was trying to go home, sir. >> not worried about that now. I need to Which by the way, he can say he wasn't driving, but you got a cut on your head. They'll match that blood to something the driver's uh uh steering wheel, something on the driver's side and that will put him at that place. Look at his his marijuana underwear. >> [snorts] >> We got to identify you. I was trying to go home, sir. I want to talk to my lawyer. No, that doesn't work. We need to identify you. I'm remaining silent. You don't get to remain silent when we ask you your information. >> That's fine. We still need to identify you, okay? You don't have to say anything else, okay? We still need to identify you, man. Look at how he says, "I'm a minor." So, as if there's no consequences for the minors. That's the problem. And now obviously the parenting to get this to where the minors are out there running amok like this. That's fine. I don't care about that. We need to know who you are for the fire department, okay? Do you understand that? We'll talk to you about everything else. If you want to make a statement, that's fine. Okay, but you rubbing your cut open, that's just going to keep continuing to make it bleed. We need to know who you are, sir. You have to at least identify yourself. If you don't want to say anything else, that's fine. You're under arrest right now. I wasn't driving. I don't care. It's neither here nor there, sir. We need to identify you and you're still in custody, okay? So, you need to tell me your name, your first name, your middle initial. Officers already know that the 18-year-old is lying, but as he refuses to identify himself, another unit tracks down his 19-year-old friend at the spot where he was dropped off, hoping he can fill in the gaps about the stolen car and the teen behind the wheel. You all right, man? All right. Two hours now. >> What's that? Been telling you I've been driving you for two hours now. Who is that guy to you? Do you know him or not? Don't know him. I don't You got any weapons on you, man? No. You don't mind if I check? Yeah. Thanks, man. How many of you get in a car with somebody you don't know, with no shirt on, none of that junk? And frankly, this guy's probably known to the the local gang and drug cops. Yeah, so. All right, you you want to grab your ID out? Yeah. Street crime. What's going on with him? I've been 24/7 you he just got he got out of jail not too long ago. It's crazy. And for a whole two hours straight I've been telling him, "Let me out. Let me out. Let me out. Let me out. Let me out." He said the cop police car right there. "Let me out." He wait till we get right here for me to actually get out. He tell me wait right here. Walked over here. This is where we at now. All right, what what are you known by? I don't I don't know him by by you. What's his What's his nickname? What's he go by? Nothing. We had a party and just getting in the car with him. He got out like I said not too long ago. You know, I'm just trying to tell him like can't can't doing this. He pulled over. First time getting out and to get to some stuff like this is really crazy. While the stupid. Like who just gets in the car? I was just trying to tell him he can't be doing this stuff, you know? This is crazy, man. You got to get out of You can't be doing this. No. No. That's not what how the People don't just get in the cars with people they don't know and try to life coach him and off the street. This He knows him good and darn well. >> Friend claims he doesn't even know the 18-year-old's name. Officers will later learn otherwise through his mother. For now, as the teen refuses to identify himself, another unit turns its attention to the crash site, checking for damage and making sure no one else is hurt. I wasn't driving. I wasn't driving. Sir, you need to identify yourself. >> driving. It doesn't matter if you're a passenger or driver, you're still under arrest. I'm on bond. You're still under arrest. Stop reaching in your waistband. Stop. You want to check him You want to check him more? I don't have I don't have anything. Sir, you need to identify yourself. >> anything. Okay, doesn't matter if you're a driver or the passenger. What's going on? I'm your help. I'm the You're okay, ma'am. I'll come talk to you in a couple minutes. I don't care if you got warrants. I don't care if you're on paper. Then what Why can't you tell me your name? Huh? I'm on bond. I just got out. He's He's taking me is the problem with bond. These judges let these kids out, you know, thinking they're doing something good because they were the, you know, they feel sorry for them and the upbringing or whatever it is and they let these kids out and what do they do? They go back out and victimize more. I'm on So you got an open case? Okay, so then you should be able to tell me your name. Okay, well then that's another charge. >> I'm on I'm on bond. I'm on bond. >> Doesn't No, you still need to identify yourself. >> open my eyes. That's fine. Normally I say these people don't have lawyers, but this kid probably does since he's on bond right now. >> if your body camera's on. It's on already. I'm sure he's a public defender. I'm on another attorney. Oh, okay. I'm on another attorney. You guys okay? Yeah, where's What car did you crash into this one? No, that one over there. All right, so these guys in the plain clothes are going to be your street crimes guys. We're riding in the ambulance with the offender to the hospital. Thankfully, the driver whose vehicle was hit doesn't suffer any serious injuries, only some body soreness, but is still taken to the hospital as a precaution. Meanwhile, things remain tense for the 18-year-old and his friend who continue to hold back when it comes to revealing his identity. Young man, you still need to identify yourself. You don't get to just remain silent. No, it doesn't work like that, man. We're not asking you accusatory questions. We need to identify you for our investigation and the fire department's going to No, it doesn't matter. You're still going to go to jail. We still need to identify you, okay? What? He got dumped off right here. I know, right off he said, you know. And you stayed here, right? I'm on with passenger. Do we want him for anything? He's super cool. Okay, so I'm good. All right. You know, I'm like um 80k, 100k, and I'll get Really? >> Yeah, um 50k. That's a lot. Yeah, twerk songs. Yeah, like 50k on Not when I'm working though. I do it when I'm not. All right, let's go ahead and put your hands behind your back. You're not under arrest for this right now, okay? You got a probable warrant with us. I got to take you in. I got to take care of that, okay? All right. Do you know what it's for? It's for curfew violation of of all things. Ugh. The universe is good. Scott deserved to be arrested. He was still I I get it. He got out of the car. He stood there. But how many of you walk around with no shirt on getting in cars that supposedly you don't know anybody? You guys know good and darn well he's probably up to no good with this other kid. The passenger will have a lot more questions waiting for him once he gets to the station. For now, the 18-year-old driver is still refusing to give up his name or take any responsibility for the chase and the crash. With him still keeping his mouth shut, officers come up with another way to identify him once medics arrive on scene. All right, your your chariot is here, sir. What? Okay. He's got He's got to go to the hospital, so may as well get the cot. Do you have an idea on him? No, he's refusing to identify. Yeah, better luck. Good. Stretcher, stretcher, stretcher, stretcher, stretcher. Um I might go get the fast ID real quick cuz he's refusing to identify. Yeah. All right, sir, we need your finger. Oh, what's that? Officers finally confirm [music] the 18-year-old's identity as he's transported to the hospital to be checked out. Other units canvass the neighborhood for damage. They also deploy a canine for an article search to see if he discarded anything while fleeing on foot. Most residents report no serious damage, and the canine search turns up nothing suspicious. As the crash scene starts to clear, the corporal heads to the station to question the teen passenger and confront him about the details he initially kept from officers. Do you know what kind of car you were in? No, I I don't know how to drive, sir. I'm 19. I I don't know how to I don't know how to drive. Um we're going to refer a charge down for operating a motor vehicle with a consent passenger down to the DA's office. >> Good. What they decide to do with it, Probably nothing. Okay. I've seen a lot worse and not get charged and I've seen a lot less get charged, so A lot of stuff going on. Um you you knew the car was stolen, you shouldn't have been in there. You had plenty opportunity to get out before the pursuit started, right, man? No, no. So No, it was it was No, it it was no way. There's no way? Well, here's the thing. He knew the car was stolen. He admitted he knew the car was stolen. The ignition was busted out. The window was busted out. Him saying that he couldn't get out of the car, you shouldn't have never have You should have gotten out of the car hours ago or should have gotten never got in the car based on those things. But, you were in the car nonetheless. I don't know. Like most What about when he pulled up at all those places? Most most most most definitely like the high end like I don't So, that's what I'm saying. I I hope you I hope you learn something, all right? Cuz if you know the car's stolen, you shouldn't get into it, right? And the second you see that broken window, you shouldn't believe his BS story, right? Cuz now he's getting you to hem up. Okay? So, we'll see what the BA's office does with it. Ultimately, the 18-year-old was charged with felony vehicle fleeing eluding an officer causing property damage, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, operating a vehicle without consent, bail jumping times four. Mr. Jeez. That's good. Let's see. I'm just so fed up with attorneys and court the attorneys dropping charges I'm hoping they didn't drop these charges. run, and he was eventually released on a $1,000 cash bond. Come on. Come on. A thousand dollars? He just got out. He bail jumped four. He hurt somebody in an accident. I mean, come on, nah. In May 2025, he was found guilty of fleeing eluding, second-degree recklessly endangering, and two counts of bail jumping. All of the remaining charges were dismissed. The 19-year-old male friend was only charged with misdemeanor operating a vehicle without consent passenger. [music] His charge was later dismissed on the prosecutor's motion. Ultimately, the 18-year-old driver was sentenced to two years in state prison followed by three years of extended supervision. All right, two years prison, three years extended supervision. At least it's something, man. Lately, I've just a lot of these videos are getting nothing. And so, yeah, at least they at least they charged him with something, and he deserved probably more than two years on this. I think he deserved about five years. Especially, I don't know what his other stuff was that he already had, but he clearly had some other charges that um hopefully they don't run uh, they probably ran it all concurrent, lumped it all into one thing. So, I don't know. Let me know what you think. I thought the I thought the officers did a great job, did a good job in the pursuit. Um, they even once they got him, they were they were very patient with him. In the end, they found out who it was and they got everybody charged. I thought they handled it very well. Thankfully, nobody else was hurt, seriously injured. And uh, and I'm glad he went to prison. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. I'll catch you on the next video.
