Do what you got to do, but I'm not giving you permission to touch. >> Separate your feet and your pants. >> No, you're not touching me. YOU NOT TOUCHING MY BACK. >> ALL RIGHT, EVERYBODY. Welcome back. We got another video for you. This one is by Midwest Safety and it is here's why you don't bite the horse cop. Sounds good. >> Got ID on us. >> Why do I need to give you my ID? >> Because I'm conducting an investigation. What's your name? I'm going to report you when I get done getting information that I um I need and I'm I'm putting this I'm telling my feminist. My name is Maya. >> You spell the first name, please. >> You don't know. You can do it. Do you need to see my ID? Ask for my ID, right? >> Yes, I did. >> Okay. Let me give you my ID so you can show talking to me. >> All right, ma'am. You can lose the ads or I just put you in handcuffs. You can do what you got to do >> because like I've already submitted documentation to the justice department female here because I don't want a male touching me. >> No, I don't. That's not how this works. >> That is how that works. >> You're not in control here, ma'am. >> Yes, I am. >> So, I'm going to tell you right now, you can lower your voice. I'm going to put you in handcuffs and take you to jail for disordered conduct. Provide me a form of identification. >> I don't want a male touching me. You need to go. >> That's not how this works, man. >> That's how it works. >> No, it's not. >> We'll see. >> We will see. We will see. Cuz I'm going to put you in handcuffs and take you to jail. >> Okay. He said I was disorderly conduct. What was what was the the conduct that I did? I'm going to jail for disorderly conduct. >> Yes, he did. He did say that. >> What I said was if you continue to yell at me, I'm going to arrest you for disordered conduct. That's what I said. I don't need to see that. I was standing right here. I said it to you. What I said was if you continue to yell at me ID, >> you'll get it back when I'm done. >> Okay. >> He's conducting an investigation, so he has the right to keep the ID. >> What I said was >> Hold on. >> I've been recording the entire time. I don't record. >> What I told you was that if you continue to yell at me and try to yell over me, I'm going to arrest you for disloyal condom. That's exactly what I said. >> So, I don't want to continue to come into >> What are all the bags for? She uh homeless or catching her leaving a hotel, something? >> I don't want nothing to do with you or the police department. >> I don't care. >> Okay. I know you don't care. >> I'm here investigating a suspicious incident. >> Okay. that was reported by a a city employee >> and by state law you're required to identify yourself when I'm conducting a legal lawful investigation. >> Okay. So, I did I need my ID so I can leave. >> Like I said, when I'm done, I will give it to you. >> Okay. >> Right now, I'm not accusing you of anything. I'm going to give you some information to help you stay out of trouble in in the future. Okay? So, I'm going to inform you of some city ordinances such as we have a no camping in the city of Key West. Key West defines camping a little bit differently than other places. Essentially, if you have a barrier between yourself and the ground andor your personal elements, that is camping. It does not matter if you're asleep or not. If you're caught camping from this point forward, you can and will be arrested. We have an open container city ordinance. If you walk, >> which basically that keeps the homeless population down and they have that ordinance that says you can't camp. >> If you walk around anywhere other than the the ball street with open container alcohol, you can and will be arrested. However, if you start acting like an asset on Deval Street, we can revoke this privilege. It is not a right. And lastly, park and beach after hours. All the city parks, all the city beaches, one of the city parks, which you are currently standing in, close at 11:00 p.m. They do not reopen until 700 a.m. You understand? This need a verbal confirmation. >> I say nothing to you. I want my ID. >> So, if you turn around and film this, >> I did. I gave it I gave that to my Stop. Ma'am, I'm only going to tell you one more time not to raise your voice. This is how >> I have not yelled at you. >> So don't ask questions cuz this is how I talk. >> Ma'am, >> that's unpleasant. >> I'm just going to put you in handcuffs. You're not going to yell at me. You're not going to scream at me. You need to turn around and film the rules and regulations of all the parks and city beaches. It has all the city ordinances right that are relevant to you right there because if >> just walk off now, ma'am. >> City ordinances. You can and will be arrested. Say what you need to say. Go ahead. Ma'am, I'm being harassed and stopped by the police and I need help. >> All right. >> They won't leave me alone. >> Ma'am, that's still disorderly conduct. You're trying to involve someone who has nothing to do with this investigation. >> I'm telling you that I'm being stopped and harassed by the police. >> I'm telling you now, I'm going to put you in handcuffs for disorderly conduct if you >> So, for us, you would still need uh a victim for the disorderly conduct. So, you would need this person to want to be a victim. My guess is may or may not want to be involved. >> Say that I'm disorderly because I'm talking to someone else now. >> Here's your identification. All these warnings will be annotated. >> I am. >> Well, that's not very nice. >> Okay. Well, hang on cuz you're on the phone with our dispatch. So, we're just want to make sure you're okay. >> I'm asking for another officer. >> Why is she calling again? Yes. I'm being >> All right, Miss Come here, Miss I'm not going to chase you. Come here. Put your phone down. Put your bag down. >> They're arresting me now. >> Put your phone down. Turn around. Face the wall. Put your hands behind your back. She could have just walked away. Walked away. Don't call 911. Don't do all that. Now she's going to get arrested. >> I'm arresting you for misuse of 911. You do not have a legitimate emergency and you have two police officers standing in front of you. >> Let's go so I can report you. >> Stop. Face the wall. >> Don't touch me. I do not want you patting me down or anything. >> I don't care. That's not how this works. >> Okay. So, if you touch me, I'm going to I'm going to >> Okay. Do you have anything illegal on your person? >> I do not >> anything that's going to poke me, stick me, cut me, blow me up, or get me ready. >> So, you will watch as he will blade. He'll use the blade of his hand. You don't do any cupping. You you use the blade of the hand against when you're searching a female. >> Do not touch me. >> Ma'am, stop. You're not getting in my vehicle unless I search you. >> So, YOU NEED TO CALL A FEMALE. DO NOT TOUCH ME. >> THAT is not how >> if you touch me, I swear to God, I'm going to going to fight. >> Not me. I'M GOING TO FIGHT. >> TOUCH ME. I'm requesting for a female officer. >> You need to stop trying to pull. She doesn't have the right to request a female officer or deputy. We would typically have one come in just to save this type of problem, but there may not be one on shift. And so this is just the way they have to do it. And he's right to put her in their car. Put her in his car. He's going to have to search her before that. >> Away from me. >> I'm not doing anything. >> You're going to jail. >> Stop. >> You're going to jail. >> You need to stop. >> You're going to jail. >> In fact, you are going to jail. >> Okay, let's go. I've been to jail. I know the person. You're not my car. You are not getting >> so you need to call for another officer. >> No, that is not how this works. >> Okay. So, I did. So, be held accountable. Do what you got to do. But I'm not giving you permission to touch. >> Separate your feet. Your fingers. >> No, you're not touching me. You touching MY off of me. I got to dress up. >> You need to stop. >> We're recording it. >> We are recording. They're recording it, too. >> Bites the officer. your side. >> Where's the horse cach? >> Is that him doing that? I have a dress on. >> Ma'am, put your knees up. >> I'm not doing that. >> Ma'am, it's for for you so you don't fixate. Thank you. >> You're in trouble. >> You are in big trouble. >> They're not in trouble. >> I told you he was in trouble. You scraped me. I have cuts and bruises. >> Yeah. You see that >> subject has no injuries, but she bit me on the wrist and she broke the skin. >> No, I did not bite you. >> I did noting bite you. >> Did I bite myself? >> THAT DID NOT I DID NOT DO THAT. YOU LYING. You scraped me and I DO HAVE INJURIES. YOU need to calm down. Don't play with me. >> Ma'am, >> you threw me to the ground like a man. >> YOU CAN'T >> BECAUSE YOU TRIED TO touch my vagina. >> Ma'am, I got nowhere near your your private. >> YOU DID. >> Stop screaming at me. Youing pervert. >> Stop screaming AT ME. >> PERVERT. >> Stop screaming. >> Trust me, >> I promise you they do not want to have to search you in those areas. But they're not putting you in the back of the car. Especially when you're fight when you're being making such a big deal of it. It makes them curious as to whether or not you're hiding something. And they have to search her. We would search a man. We would say we have to search a woman. >> I'm ready TO LAY THE DOWN. OKAY, YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL. >> I KNOW. I'M READY, MOTHER. >> OKAY, GOOD. >> I GOT SOMEWHERE TO LAY MY HEAD NOW, YOU DUMB. GET THE FROM OFF OF ME LIKE THAT. >> STOP. >> GET >> SO, if she goes to the jail and she does have something on her and you you would basically do a search for weapons. Try to search as good as you can. In this particular case, she goes to jail and if she's carrying any contraband, it's going to be an extra charge and it's a serious charge. >> Me like that. >> Do not. >> That's better. GET OFF OF ME. >> STOP. >> IF YOU SQUIRT ME UP, THAT'S MORE. >> WELL, YOU'VE ALREADY elbowed me. Bit him >> BECAUSE YOUING TRIED TO TOUCH MY VAGINA. >> NOBODY TRIED TO TOUCH >> AND YOU didn't elbow. You lying now. You >> trust me. Ain't nobody touching her. >> BUT I GOT IT ON CAMERA. >> AND so do we. >> I WAS CALM UNTIL YOU TRIED TO TOUCH MY I NEED A FEMALE OFFICER. I REQUESTED FOR A FEMALE OFFICER. >> STOP. >> Get the off. >> Ma'am, stop pushing again. >> Get your OFF OF ME. I don't >> I don't care if you're uncomfortable. You're not going to elbow us. You're not going to kick us. You're not going to bite us. >> I GOT ANY SCRAPES AND BRUISES ON ME. >> You going down. >> Okay. >> No, that's nice. >> That's what the I thought. >> Okay. >> And I got YOU ON CAMERA DOING THIS YESTERDAY. They did it yesterday. >> I don't know. >> So, they've been dealing with her. So, the fact that she used misused 911, they were probably she's been homeless in the area, probably getting a ton of complaints. They keep going out there and she's difficult to deal with. When she called 911, they finally had a charge to be able to, you know, a charge with didn't need a victim. Misuse of 911. >> You know that THE POLICE WAS CALLED YESTERDAY FOR THE SAME. >> YOU IN TROUBLE. >> Stop screaming at me. >> Thought I didn't know the law. Anytime a female requests for a female officer, she is supposed to get it. >> No. >> When she's in the law, >> you thought I didn't know that. If there's a FEMALE OFFICER, >> YOU THOUGHT I DIDN'T KNOW THAT, DIDN'T YOU? YOU GOING TO JAIL, [ __ ] >> ALL RIGHT. >> You in trouble, mother. And I SWEAR TO GOD, I HOPE THEY throw your ass in that for a long time for using the restroom. Public restroom. You thought you was big and bad. Now I'm going to show your mother ass who bad. >> What's happening, guys? >> What's going on, fellas? >> We got her. >> Yeah. You good? >> Yeah. Just clean it up. >> You want to know something shocking to me? was just how low the tea levels, testosterone levels are for men nowadays. It blows me away. Young men with low testosterone levels. Lock in your 50% for life. Get yourself some. Let me know. I bet you feel better. All right. Now, let's get back to the video. alcohol. >> Definitely want to clean it up because >> you don't know what she's got and uh if she broke skin, you definitely don't want to take any chances of hepatitis or anything else. >> I like I like alcohol better, but it burns. >> That's fine. >> Well, considering you've already tried to kick us, elbow us little bit right there, too. >> That was the only spot that you felt. Okay. >> Anything down here? >> I did not kick. No, just right there. >> That nice and heavy. >> Yeah, >> it's on camera. >> Yep. This one right here. >> I kicked him. >> Okay. >> She just admitted. She kicked him. >> I kicked back when he tried to touch my Yes. He went down there tried to touch my and I went like that. >> You don't have to yell. I'm talking having a conver. I'M LETTING YOU KNOW WHY I DID WHAT I DID CUZ YOUING TRIED TO TOUCH MY PRIVATE PART. >> WE had our hands on your shoulder at your mother. YOU DID NOT. >> OKAY. UM, she's got some minor scratches on her shoulder. Just she's being kind of not standing up. >> That's just from um and I have scrapes in the front as well. >> From them slamming me on the ground. >> We'll wipe them off. All right. We'll clean them up. >> I'm good. >> All right. I'm just going to rub a little You don't want nothing? Okay. >> All right. No problem. She refused. That's fine. Appreciate you fellas. >> Yeah, man. No problem. >> Yep. You'll just put in the report that she refused. Fire showed up. She refused to be treated by fire. >> You good? Yeah. >> You only arrested me because I was going I called your supervisor on you. >> That was the only reason. Yes, it was true. >> And it's on the camera. And when they get here, I'm going to tell them this. >> You illegally called 911, which is an arrestable offense. And you also >> cuz this the only damn thing you can do to me is put me in jail. >> It's over for your ass. >> Yeah, this has been on. M. You're still getting searched before you go on my vehicle one way or another. All right. And as I told you before, we do not have a female officer working today. And aside from that fact, I we are all trained on how to properly search females. >> I'm not asking. You're going to find out. You're going to find out. >> All of a sudden, on the day that you come to the bathroom to arrest me, >> have a female officer and on any suspicious to me, >> I'm done talking. >> What's this guy doing? Not right now, not right now. man is telling you that you need a female officer to search. >> All right, listen. You need to go away. >> Keep on stepping, brother. >> You need to go away. >> How about this? How about I go to the courtroom? Let them know that you're trying to search. >> You need to go away. I'm going to put you in handcuffs for obstruction. >> When you do that, let me being sued. Walk away. >> It doesn't matter. >> Walk away. >> City of Key West is being sued. >> Walk away. >> Key West is being >> Walk that woman. You're under arrest. >> Walk away. You're under. >> Walk away. Walk away. >> Is there something in the water today? >> It's a wrap for you cuz I'm going to jail and I'mma stay in that too. >> Okay. Well, yes you are. It's >> a big old horse to >> I've been to jail. You stupid. YOU STUPID. >> DON'T you know you stupid? I'm homeless [ __ ] THAT'S AING HOTEL TO ME. YOU DUMB ASS. >> OKAY, keep talking. >> Dumb ass. [laughter] >> That's a hotel to me. She's talking about the jail being a hotel to her, which means she goes to jail a lot. So, she should know that they need to search her. >> Keep screaming. You're just adding to my disorderly charges. >> I don't give a I HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE UPSET. YOU ARE NOT [ __ ] GOD. >> I NEVER said I was. Never said anything even closer. >> I don't hell, folks. >> On my back. He had his knee on my back. When he threw me to the ground, he had his knee on my back going like this while I was on the ground. Well, here's the problem with that statement is his camera was recording the whole time which was facing directly toward me. No matter what you what you're saying right now is in fact [ __ ] >> Don't even explain it to her. She's and this guy needs to keep on moving. >> I was GOING TO CALL YOUR SUPERVISOR. >> YOU ARE IN TROUBLE. >> I have to call her supervisor. I'm going to the mayor's office. >> Okay. Good luck with that. Bye. >> Have a nice day. >> Goodbye. >> I'm going to the mayor's office. I'm telling dad on you. Goodbye. >> Goodbye. >> Ha. >> Goodbye. Guarantee you they deal with him all the time, too. >> Uh, we got flagged down by a city employee. She was in the female restroom for well over an hour. The gentleman was trying to clean it. Um, he went in, said, "Hey, I need to to do my job. I need to clean the restroom." She started cussing, yelling, screaming at him. He comes, flags us down, calls us over. As I'm pulling up, she's walking out. The gentleman says, "Hey, that's her." And she starts yelling and screaming. So I ask her for a form of identification. She continues to yell and scream. She states that she does not. >> Is there just like a bunch of homeless and people walking around here or what? >> Did she did she provide you with anything at that time? >> She did eventually after after I told her it was arrestable offense. Um she she finally gave me an ID, yelling, screaming, cussing. There's tourists walking through. >> So you were investigated for trespassing after warning? >> Yes, sir. >> Because the the janitor wanted her to leave. She again yelling, screaming, trying to to yell over me. I told her if she didn't stop, I was going to arrest her for disordered conduct. Pissed her off more. I gave her identification. She walked about 15 ft that way towards the end of the building. Called 911 while officer Arasco and I were standing in front of her. Then then she proceeded to try to walk back by us, yelling, screaming customs more. And uh at that point, I proceeded. She finally stopped right here. I told her to take her her backpack off and her jacket, >> asked her to step up against the wall and put her hands behind her back. She complied. I put her in handcuffs and then when I started trying to search her, she started yelling and screaming and cussing again, saying that I was touching her inappropriately, touching her privates, which I was not. And I didn't even get a chance to search her yet. >> Do we have a female search? >> We We don't have one working today. As soon as I >> See, you don't have a female. So, what are you gonna do? Somebody's got to search her. Started trying to pat her down to make sure she didn't have anything on her. She kicked me like that and she elbowed Rosco. Um she spun around. I tried to grab her. She >> But she was already in cuffs, right? >> Yes. She she bit me on the wrist. >> Um and we put took her to the ground in control manner and placed her on her stomach. Um she was still >> Did she get injured? >> No, she she got some scrapes on >> on her on her right shoulder. Some minor scrapes. Not even. It didn't even break the skin. But she she broke the skin on my wrist. >> I have breaks and cuts on me as well. That's when he threw me. >> She had to do was leave. >> I know. That's it. The rescue come check you out. >> Yeah, they did. They tried to give me some stuff, but I told him I didn't want it. Did you want to hear him outside now? >> I I'm not making an arrest. I'm just investing. >> No, I need I need to be arrested. I do not want to go back out into the um >> You're going to jail, but I'm not I'm not arrested. Okay. >> That officer there arrested you. >> Okay. >> Okay. So I what happened was >> so the sergeant will come out take the complaint documents her scratches or whatever. >> We'll see what happens. >> What happened? And it's all on body cam. >> He said open your legs so I can um search. I SAID I'M NOT I'M NOT LETTING YOU TOUCH MY VAGINA. He then tried to lean his hand down and touch my vagina. As I resisted, he picked me up and threw me to the ground and put his knees on my back. >> So, she just missed. She just said, "As I resisted, >> is that your side?" >> And that's why I have these scrapes and bruises. >> Is that your side? >> Yes. >> All right, let's stand up. We'll help you up. >> I'm going to explain. >> Now, listen. I've heard your side of the story. I'm going to investigate what happened. um >> keep me in there for a while. >> All I'm telling you is it's over and done with. Just go out to the jail, get booked in, and if there's something that I need to do on my end based on what I see on the video, I'll deal with it. Okay? Don't get yourself into any more trouble. Okay. >> Um they've been doing this to me for a while. >> Well, I'm going to have >> Leave Key West. Go somewhere else. >> He told me get >> Do you have any weapons on? >> No. He told me that YOU COULD NOT DO THAT. And I knew that was a against the law. I knew that >> male police officers can search women and >> unless we request a female. >> No, it doesn't work that way. We don't always have a female to give. >> See, you didn't know as much as you thought, did you, lady? >> The problem is I'll deal with it. I'll have a female search you. That way there's no more bad animosity between you guys. >> He needs to put my ID back in my stuff, too. >> We'll we'll make sure everything goes back. Just go sit in the car and go for a ride. >> Go over here. >> Get this scumbag. >> I'm gonna take that stuff back to the station. >> All right, ma'am. Put your stomach on the blue line, please. >> Okay, Sergeant Handled it. Okay. >> So, he tried to arrest me for using the restroom. Is that was the first time >> he was very calm. >> He was calm. He was trying to to arrest me for using the female's restroom. >> I'll check if he has a valid. >> HE DIDN'T. THAT'S WHY he tried TO LET ME GO. >> Get in, please. YOU NEED TO PUT HIS ASS IN JAIL. HE NEEDS to get arrested. AND IF HE DOESN'T, I'M GOING >> I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO SIT IN THE CAR WITHOUT COMPLAINING. >> I'M SAYING IF HE DOESN'T, I'M GOING TO THE MAYOR'S OFFICE AND I'M GOING TO MAKE SURE HIS ASS IS IN JAIL. >> OKAY, >> there you go. You have the right to do that. >> Resisting with violence, two counts of battery, disturbing peace, misuse of 911, and another resist. >> Dang, they got her good. All right. >> Charge without violence. Court records indicate a judge ordered the suspect to undergo testing for HIV and hepatitis after allegedly biting and breaking the skin of the officer. Even though the case is more than a year old, the matter is still awaiting adjudication. The next court date is fall of 2024. She is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. >> So she uh they had to get him tested, which is smart. You got to go down to send the guy to consent. We call it concentra. go down uh because if there's something serious, you want to make sure that you get a doctor to see that. Workers comp claims, any of that. So, they had to test him. Especially when folks live on the street, you don't know what they have. You need test for HIV, hepatitis, like I said, which they did. The case is still ongoing, which means that they have not dropped all the resisting charges and all of that. So, my guess is she's going to be held accountable. Probably still in jail. Something like this is going to have a high bond and I doubt that she had the money to bond out. Let me know what you think. How did they do on this? What would you do if you had to search her? There was no females to search her. She's wrong. Deputies and police officers have the right to go and search. We hate it because of this kind of stuff and we have to be very careful how we do it just because somebody will complain. But we have every bit of right to search them. But ideally, we like to have a female come do it just so we avoid this situation. But let us know how you would what how you would have handled this. How do you think they did? And uh whether she deserved to be arrested. Let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe, and I'll catch you on the next
