Listen, I'm a police officer. I'm giving you a lawful command. So, you either go without handcuffs or I'm going to handcuff you and bring you in there. So, walk on your own. >> I don't need to go in the office. If I if you want me to leave, I can leave. >> Right now, you're in a park you're not supposed to be in. >> All right, everybody. Welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from cop action on cam and it is Karen tries sneaking into Universal, instantly regrets it. Let's go. I haven't seen it. At March 24th, 2024, the Orlando Police Department responded to the Islands of Adventure theme park at Universal Orlando Resort. Park security had caught a woman walking through the park entrance without a ticket and was following her when the officer arrived on scene. Watch along [music] as this tourist finds out that the only free ride she is taking is to jail. >> Hey, hold up. >> Hold up. >> Anybody need a bathroom? Where's your ticket? >> My mother-in-law has it. >> What? >> My mother-in-law has it. >> You better get it. Try >> to stare with one hand. >> We're going to go. >> Let's go. >> Look, they already know she doesn't have it. So, typically they're say the saying is cops don't ask questions we don't already know the answers to. But they're pretty sure she doesn't have it. And here she is starting to lie already. >> What was the problem? >> Okay. I don't I'm trying to figure out why he's stopping me. >> I don't have a ticket right now. You're in the park right now. It's at theft of service. So, let's go. >> I'm at the for service >> right now. You are. You're in a park that you don't have a ticket for right now. So, let's go over here. >> Figure out why this man's happened. He He keep trying to stop me from somebody. I ain't even come. >> Let's go and we'll talk. The man's trying to stop you because you jumped into the park without paying. Theft of service. that she's referring to this gentleman in the background in the black who obviously works for the park who realized that she was in there. >> Talk about it in the office. >> Let's go. I'm a police officer at the Orlando Police Department. So, let's walk. >> Let me call. >> Well, you can get my ticket. >> When you We can go in there and you can call in there, but we're going to go into the office. >> I don't have to get in the office. If you feel like I need to go, I can go. >> I know. Let's go in the office. >> I don't need to go in the office. >> I have a ticket. My mother take care of it. But for now, >> put her in cuffs. >> Listen to me. >> I am giving you a lawful order. >> Snatch her up. Put her in cuffs. >> Don't let her walk out. Do not let her walk away. Put her in calves. >> What are they doing? >> Talking so loud, too. You know, like everybody in the park can hear what she's saying. And you know, everybody else paid just pay your fee and go in. But no, you got to cut a corner. Please tell me you're going to register. >> If not, we >> If not, we just make sure she comes out. >> What are we doing here? >> There we go. >> All right. If you don't go in the office now, you're going to jail. >> You hear me? Just like when it's your baby, but you're not. [laughter] >> What the are YOU CLIMBING ME DOWN FOR? >> TURN AROUND and put YOUR HANDS. >> MY MOTHER-IN-LAW GOT MY TICKET. MY MOTHER-IN-LAW [screaming] HAS MY TICKET. >> OKAY. If her mother-in-law has the ticket, then she should have just gone to the office and said, "I'll wait for her there and she can bring it and show you that I have a ticket." She knows she doesn't have a ticket. She was trying to walk out of the park cuz she got caught and not be held accountable. Accountability found her though. >> What do you need? >> Oscar 371. >> I am in a resisting and IRA port of entry. Can I get one? >> We're not moving. >> I need you to grab her arm. Yep. >> Let me put my Let me put my phone in my >> No, that big girl. So, she's probably pretty probably pretty probably strong. Back up. Get off her. >> Back up. 371. >> So, this is where you have to be careful because now you've got her on the ground. You don't know who she's with. There's people everywhere. So, clearly she's probably with somebody. They could easily come up and put the jack ski down on one of the deputies or one of the officers, one of the officers um while they're taking her into custody. And clearly, they're having to give commands to somebody else to stay back. >> 45. This is crazy. >> Hold on. >> I don't know if this dude's like a >> a UC or undercover or just a stand bystander who's helping. >> I have a ticket, sir. >> Let me get my ticket. >> Somebody record. I have a ticket. You got my key. >> What are yall doing for this [ __ ] Huh? >> Stand up. >> Jimmy, get my phone now. >> I know. WHAT'S YOUR [laughter] HUSBAND? MY PHONE. Whoever got my phone. >> You got the husband there. Now, this is one of those situations where they I you know, she just she didn't want to go to the office. Right. Then she goes into cuffs because the longer she walked, the more emboldened she got and then they ended up having to throw her on the ground in the middle of the park. They may have had to in the beginning anyway, but I'm all I think that the more people have time to think about what their actions will be, the worse it can get. >> Baby, take my purse. >> Can you give my husband my phone? >> No. Can you give my phone? >> I got it. [laughter] >> You didn't give me a chance. I gave her plenty of chance. >> Oh, so they did give her her phone. >> I should have ran from your [ __ ] ass. >> Well, that's resisting already. So, >> uh, honey, you weren't going to get that far. She's like, I should have ran from you. She wasn't going to get that far. >> Stand up. You won't run from nobody AND GET A TICKET. >> Take your kids somewhere else. Take your kids so they don't have to see their mom getting arrested because she was acting like a fool and she came into the park without a ticket. I'd start asking this guy where his ticket is and where the two kids tickets are. >> Let's get back, baby. >> Stand up. >> Stand up. last night. >> Stand up. >> No accountability. >> No um accountability for their a for her actions. She's just they're yelling at the police as if this was their fault when this is she was the precipitator and the aggravator in all of this. >> Hey, make sure you stay. This is a police. This races >> Yeah. Here we go. >> Here we go. Here we go with the racist stuff cuz you got held accountable for stealing and trying to break it in. Now all of a sudden it becomes racism. No, you broke the law. That's what happened. That didn't have anything to do with the color of your skin. You broke the law. >> I got a whole ticket. You me for saying I don't got a ticket. Come on resistant arrest cuz I got a ticket. >> You telling me I don't got a ticket. >> Now she's just being disorderly. >> Oscar 371. >> I don't need anyone else. >> Slow me down. >> You better be glad you >> I promise you that. >> Have a seat. You better be glad you >> okay. >> You ain't going to do nothing. >> You put these guys off. I think they should have me down. >> I don't care. THAT'S NOT THE POINT. IF YOU WOULD ACTED LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING, YOU [laughter] WOULD HAVE SAID, "NO, YOU DIDN'T. IF YOU WOULD ACT LIKE A >> IS THERE anybody who thinks that she was acting like a normal human being in this situation or that she is acting like a normal human being now?" >> No. >> SIT DOWN. >> I'VE STAYED. WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? >> WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? [laughter] >> I AM A POLICE OFFICER. >> Sit down. >> Push her down. >> Put her down in the chair. >> SIT YOUR ASS [screaming] DOWN. >> RUDE ASS. >> SIT DOWN. >> YOU RUDE ASS. Get >> down. >> GET YOUR >> SIT DOWN. >> ARE YOU SERIOUS? >> Sit down. >> Are you serious? Mother, >> you're going to go in my car. That's >> Jamie. Jimmy, >> don't even interview her. Now she goes to jail no matter what. Even if she had a ticket, she goes to jail now. >> Get your mother sergeant cuz you was a rude ass mother. >> You think you think >> you think you can do whatever you want. That's the problem. >> THAT'S THE PROBLEM. GOD REST his ass think that. >> That's it. That's exactly it. You think you can do whatever you want with no consequences. >> I don't think that. Don't waste his ass. Give me somebody to name Grace. >> GET IN THERE. >> GET IN THE CAR. >> PRANK. >> GET IN THE CAR. >> She just spit on him. >> Are you serious? If >> you don't get in the car, I AM GOING TO >> shove her ass in there >> right now. >> Are you serious? >> Get in the car. >> Get in the car. >> Are you serious? >> After subduing the woman, officers returned to the husband back in the park to attempt to obtain her identification. >> Is that your wife? >> Yes. >> Do you have her ID on you? >> Yeah. She went to jail, >> probably. Yeah. >> Why? >> Resisting right now for sure. >> Resisting. >> Yeah. Resisting arrest. >> How did she resist? She had a ticket. >> How did she resist if she had a ticket? I'm not. >> Listen, I'm not trying to debate it. I just need her ID or >> or what? Or what? I'm ask >> Well, I can ask her and then it just be another charge. If she doesn't charge >> because if she doesn't want to give it to me, then she's not identifying herself. >> I'm saying right now she's not in in the form to give it to us. That's why I'm trying to come to you so she doesn't catch it. So she doesn't catch another charge. Crazy, bro. So, >> how much is your bond for that for resisting arrest? >> I'll give you all that information once I I got to talk to the other arresting officer. I'm just trying to avoid her catching another charge. >> He's already asking how much is the amount like the bond amount for resisting arrest. So, this isn't the their first rodeo. >> She's very upset >> cuz she she got slammed down and she got a ticket. >> I just got here. I'm just trying I'm just trying to avoid her getting >> I need all that, man. Cuz I >> Yep. We'll for sure get you all that in just a sec. >> It don't make sense, bro. >> Don't make no sense. Tell her I said cuz she calmed down, dude. >> I think it's her I got her passport. I can't find her ID. I don't know where her ID is, but that's her passport right here. >> You mind if I hold on to that for a second? >> She's still going off back there. >> Uh I don't know. I walked up here, but yeah, she was. She wouldn't get in the car. >> She wouldn't get in what car? >> The police car. >> So they rrestling her down and stuff. No, we got her in the car, but I'm saying she didn't want to get in the car. >> Thank you. >> Are you from Florida? >> I'm not. >> What state are you from? >> Can you get a sergeant? I'll be happy. Yeah, there's one on the way. >> I'm willing to talk to a sergeant. >> Yes, there's one on the way. I'm just trying to speed the process up for you. That's all. >> That's okay. I'll be happy to talk to a sergeant. >> Okay, so you once you talk to Okay, fair enough. >> Thank you. I don't think she's going to be too pleased when the sergeant shows up. I haven't seen it, but um I'm hoping the sergeant just puts her in her place, too. >> At the suspect's request, a sergeant responded to the scene and spoke to her. >> Ma'am, your husband is not here um to reduce this ticket. Okay. Um and I have to ask you, have this just what I have to ask. Have Have you been drinking today? >> I have to drink today. >> Okay. >> Um any illegal narcotics today? I don't take drugs. >> Okay. I have to ask. I'm not accusing your >> You have to ask that. I don't do drugs. >> Okay. But just something to drink. Okay. >> All right. So, >> my kids is on spring break and I'm on vacation. >> H >> my kids is on spring break and I'm on vacation. Why did I come in and expect to be slammed down to the ground in front of my kids? >> Well, for no reason. >> I'm telling him. >> Look, the reason she got slammed down is really her fault. All she had to do was produce a ticket, which if you're at the park, trust me, you everybody, we made sure everybody had their tickets on their phone. So, all you got to do is produce a ticket, which by the way, they knew she didn't have one. Number two, if when they asked you to go to the office, all you had to do is walk to the office and then have somebody bring your ticket. Problem solved. Done. But no, no, she had to get lippy and and and confrontational and not um she wasn't listening to a lawful police order. Then she walks off and then they had to take her into custody because she was being def uh she was being obstructive and she wasn't complying and they ended up having to throw her on the ground and put her in cuffs. It's her fault, not theirs. They would have loved to have let her enjoy spring break and her vacation with her family and her kids, but she tried to take advantage of the system and then she was extremely difficult to deal with. >> But no, we we have yet to see these tickets. How are you going to produce these tickets? The hus your husband >> I was walking out to give him my ticket. He didn't allow for me to show him. >> Where is the ticket at that you were going to give them? That's what I'm asking. >> My phone and everything is gone now. >> We have your phone. >> Okay. Give that information. I don't know. Okay. All right. >> Okay, ma'am. >> She didn't have a ticket. >> She didn't have a ticket. >> While being moved to another car prior to transport, the suspect offered her final word on the situation. >> This ought to be good. >> He would have came at me a different type of way. He would have got a different type of response. He came at me rudely and so he got that type of response. Don't come at me like that. >> Well, you lost, baby. >> And I had a ticket. Neither the woman's ticket nor mother-in-law was able to be located. At time of production, this case is still pending. The suspect's husband posted her $1,000 bail, and she failed to appear for any further court dates. >> Oh boy. >> A warrant is currently open for her arrest. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. >> So, my guess is that she's probably not going to go back to Florida anytime soon. We don't know what state she was from, but uh she came there on vacation. $1,000 bond. Um they'll lose that bond because if you fail to show up, the bond gets the eventually a bell bondsman will come and get their money back. But for now, the bell bondsman would have put up the bond or the or the husband put up the full thousand without using a bell bondsman. In this particular case, if she gets arrested again, I don't think they'll extradite her on this. Extradition from state to state is difficult. Maybe city to city if they're close, but typically on a trespassing obstruction like this, it's probably going to be all misdemeanors. They probably would not do an extradition on her. But if she ever gets pulled over in Florida again, um she may end up getting arrested and going to jail and she'll probably sit in there until she uh sees a judge. So, it would have behooved her to just deal with this problem, but she didn't deal with it. She did deal with it. She dealt with it in a very rude and uncooperative way. And uh she ended up getting charged for all that. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. How did they handle this? What would you have done different? Or would you have done it uh would you have done it uh quicker? Would you have taken her into custody quicker? And do you agree that all this could have been prevented had she just been compliant and produced a ticket or gone to the office and had somebody produce a ticket so she could enjoy the time with her family? But no, she had to be defiant. She had to be uh accusatory, calling everybody racist because she got held accountable. Um, her behavior is what put her in this position and I'm glad she was held accountable, frankly. And I hope they arrest her one day for the warrants and hold her accountable to uh for the rest of it. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. I'll catch you on the next
