Who that my mom right there she was using who who to hit the scooter hit all things she tried to throw the blower and she was using this thing it was her weapon. >> Got it so she she kind of went all over the place. So all right everybody welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from Detective Dusk and it is Florida teen attacks police patrol car with a shovel. I haven't seen it. >> Let's go. Most people run away from the police but this 15-year-old was actually waiting to attack them. >> Oh. >> Put it down. >> Even in handcuffs she wasn't finished. >> This is entitlement and this is not ever being held accountable and being raised to hate the police and all sorts of stuff combined. Can already tell you. >> Finished. After trashing the outside of the patrol car she decided to start working on the interior. >> Knock it off. You want to get into more charges? Stop. >> On 6th officers with the Port Saint Lucie Police Department were responding to a usual disturbance call when they met 15-year-old Amy Chance who was armed with a shovel in the middle of the street. Before the police could even >> I honestly you're lucky if you don't get shot if you come out with a shovel. It is a deadly weapon. >> step out of their vehicle the teen launched a targeted attack bashing the hood of the patrol car and causing over $1,200 in damage. >> Pop that taser right on her just >> You kidding me? >> Taser. >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> And then flips them off. >> Get on the ground. You have to leave. >> What is wrong with What is wrong with people? I mean just goes out and just starts hitting the police patrol car with a shovel. Oh. I mean, does she want to go to jail? >> You. >> Yeah, of course. Of course. Once she's in cuffs, then she starts >> my car. 451, if you can be 51. Uh she hit my car with a shovel several times. >> So, 451 is probably the sergeant. 51 is come over and meet me up at my my location. You're going to have to make a report on this. Uh so, you'll have your supervisor come and document it uh for the all the paperwork, insurance, all that junk. Uh sometimes all you can do is laugh at some of the stuff we see and go through. >> Yeah, about five times. Great. She damaged my car. >> Hey. Amy. Knock it off. >> Kicking this thing. >> more charges? >> Like a little child, like a little 2-year-old throwing a little temper tantrum. >> Stop. >> Hobbler, put hobbles on. >> Stop. Stop. >> You can't rationalize sometimes with folks. >> Just stop. >> Hello, officer. Good afternoon. I know it's not. I I I am I am It's my sister's daughter. >> Okay. >> I did you a whole lot of things. She the mother is in the garage waiting for somebody to come and take them. >> So, your grandma? >> No, I'm my sister. Adopted daughter. >> Got you. >> She's living next door to me. >> Okay. >> Do you have your license on you? >> No, I don't. >> She's not She's not the mother. She's not the one we need. We need the mother over at the address. >> need the mother. She is I I came up to see what's going on. >> Yeah, I'm curious to see what this mom is like. I know it's adopted daughter, but let's see what's going on here. >> My mom's not okay, YO. LIKE >> THE REASON THEY'RE BLACKING THAT OUT IS TYPICALLY you don't want to show the footage of inside somebody's home. You know, as one of the contentions I have with a body cam is when you go into somebody's home, does it present a fourth amendment violation? >> Mom? Hello, can I come Can you come outside and talk to me for a second? >> I mean, they must have been blacking out all they're blacking They must have been blacking out the address, I guess. >> You guys >> I got you. You stay right here. I'll come and talk TO YOU, OKAY? OKAY. >> POOR LADY. >> SO, just so you know, we have her in custody right now. She did run up and hit one of our vehicles with the shovel. >> Is that fair? SHE TOOK IT UP TO HIT me and that THE PEOPLE ON THE LINE SAID I MUST GO INSIDE and lock myself. So, I went inside. I locked myself inside and she take something. I was banging on the door. I don't know what it was. >> It was an iron that she started trying to bang into the door to get into the >> Was it that shovel that she had in her hand, the big >> No, it was an iron. She She was trying trying to hit with the >> Got you. Got you. Got you. >> And then she ran outside, tried to hit my car with the with the shovel, but she didn't hit me and then she ran away. I >> Ungrateful little turd. >> I don't know where she went cuz I WAS LOCKED INSIDE. >> DO YOU WANT DO YOU WANT TO SHOW ME real quick where the She had the shovel on the car? >> Um she never used the shovel to hit the car. She was about to because before she first kicked the car if you If you can kind of see here her shoe print. >> Okay. >> The shoe print she first kicked the car then she was coming out here to go hit the car with the shovel. I told her don't she doesn't Don't she dare hit the car. >> And is that when we rolled up and she went down the road? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And then she saw the kid a kid coming up here. >> I don't understand why they're I don't whatever. >> I told them I told her to I told my cousin to run into my garage and I told the kid to run home. >> Okay. >> And then she started trying to She started throwing crap all over around the floor. >> So this is going to be a domestic violence as well, criminal damage. >> You can clearly see this is not my doing. That's my sister's doing. She took that wooden thing about She tried to throw it at my mom when my mom was still sitting here but my mom never got hit by it and then when my mom was trying to go inside she took up a lollipop popsicle out of her mouth and she threw it at my mom right there. She started using hula hoops to hit the scooter, hit all things. She tried to throw the blower and she was using this thing it was her weapon. >> Got it. So she she kind of went all over the place. So real quick Mom, do you have your driver's license on you or not? >> So look, I I I was probably wrong in the beginning to to assume that she was raised. These people seem very respectful. They seem like they're doing the best they can. This gal I would say she was adopted and is clearly got some some I don't know what kind of maybe some mental health issues. Certainly got some problems. >> ID? >> Yo like I don't need her to come back here. I want to If I can if >> All right. Do you have a Do you happen to have a pen? >> Like I have a pen that you can borrow. >> Okay. So I'm going to give you this. This is a witness statement. What I need you to do is fill out the information you do know up top. Your your personal identifying information. And and right here and on the back as well if you need more info just detail what you're telling me. Detail what the whole incident from start to finish, all right? >> Hey me. Hey, listen to me. Listen to me. I'm going to get you out of this car. Are you going to give me any problems whatsoever? Are you going to give me any problems whatsoever? Are you going to? Stop. Stop. They're going to pull you out of this car, okay? Don't give them any trouble. >> Here's the problem with that. I don't know what how old she is. I'm guessing that because they didn't blur her face, she's probably not a juvenile. So, they said teen that the thing says Florida teen. It could be 18, 19. So, I'm guessing she is of age, but I mean look at the way she's acting. >> Please. Okay? Sit up like a big girl. Turn around. Okay? Come this way. One on each side. >> Got it? >> Got it? >> Yeah. >> Okay, I'm going to pat you down. Do you have anything on you that I need to know about? >> No. >> I don't think so. Okay, take one step back, gentlemen. Can you take back my hands? Okay, spread your legs for me. Okay, take your foot out. All right, second. Okay. Other foot. >> It's always nice to have a female to search another female. Sergeant female showed up, made it nice. She'll be able to get her searched. >> Got it? Easy. Okay, turn around. Sit right back down. >> Going blue. >> Yeah, you are cuz you you made a point to say that you wanted to hurt yourself. >> No, I didn't. I never wanted to kill myself. >> Okay. >> If I really wanted to kill myself, I would have done it. >> Okay. >> I would I didn't say I was going to kill myself. I'm not like that. >> So, if you make any um utterances, spontaneous utterances, you say anything that says that you're going to hurt yourself, then typically we will have mental health. You're going to have to go through a mental health assessment, have fire come and show up, take them um process them for mental health assessment. >> Okay. All right, well, you're not going home. So, you're either going to >> Well, I'm not going to either. >> Well, you don't have a choice, young lady. >> Yes, I do. >> Okay, your behavior >> doesn't >> Then sit still. Sit still. >> I'm not going >> Hey, then sit still and quit behaving like this. Do you understand me? >> I'm guessing the reason they're redacting it is that they're probably talking about um there's these mental health facilities that each state has that she's probably saying she's not going to go there. So, probably has been there before. Saying she's not going to go there, but it's not really up to her. >> Quit behaving like this cuz you're asking for a ride. You keep doing this crap, that's where you're going to end up. Look at me. Look at me. I'm not disrespecting you. Don't disrespect me. >> Yes, you are. >> How am I disrespecting you? >> You're sending me somewhere I didn't ask. >> Okay, and I'm telling you to change your behavior. >> I am. >> Okay, then change your behavior. I'm going to talk. >> Amy was officially booked on a third-degree felony charge of criminal mischief. >> Good. >> But, it leaves a lot of people wondering what could possibly push a teenager to ambush a police cruiser in broad daylight. Do you think a felony charge was the right move for a 15-year-old in this situation? >> Yes, I do. >> there a better way to handle it? >> How did they say she was 15? Um typically they have they blur their faces on these uh these videos like this. So, yeah. I mean, look, a felony for a 15-year-old when you act like that, sure. I think most of us are probably thinking that she deserved the felony she got. What do you guys think? Did she deserve it? And how did these guys have handle it? She's lucky she didn't get tased. Um had she continued to swing that shovel around, it could have been even worse than getting tased, but she's lucky she didn't get tased and immediately went into cuffs. Um of course, had some choice words after and then kept bound kicking the the cage as a like a little uh toddler throwing a tantrum. But, in the end, it looks like um her mom, adopted mother, is struggling with her, uh has been through some health issues herself, and looks like she's dealing with this gal who's making her life tougher than it needs to be. But, uh let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. Let me know how you how you thought they did on this uh handling this girl with what clearly it looks like some mental health problems. So, let me know, and we'll catch you on the next video.
