Um the car can't stay there if you arrest both of them, so you have to tow it. You therefore have to do an inventory of the of the vehicle prior to towing it. If it's above a certain amount, then you can charge them with actually trafficking. Plus, they had a scale there, which means that they're weighing it out and probably giving it out to other people. And then obviously resisting uh an officer. So, she got no bond on that and no bond on the larceny. Wow. $250,000 bond on the meth trafficking and a $3,000 bond. Dang. >> Possession of drug equipment, trafficking amphetamines, and resisting an officer. Her cash bond was set at $253,000. >> So, did they I'm assuming that they didn't charge him um Man, I don't know how he doesn't get charged. I would have charged him, too, unless she copped to being the owner of it, but it was in his vehicle. I would have charged him with obstruction just because he needed to go to jail. He knew the drugs were in the car. If he didn't, he's an idiot. He knew the drugs were probably in the car and and he knew what she was doing in the store and then took off. I would have absolutely charged him with obstruction. And I don't know that they didn't. I'm not saying they didn't. Hopefully they did, got them for obstruction and probably the possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, too. They both should have got charged with it cuz it was within the immediate reach of both of them or the immediate control of both of them. So, anyway, I thought they did a good job. I like to see I, you know, and granted there was only one, looks like, deputy that that caught him at the gas station or officer, and then somebody else showed up. I would have got there, got him out of the car immediately, put him in cuffs, and neutralized, hopefully, the vehicle, and then you know, get her in cuffs as soon as possible as well. But and then allow yourself to do the investigation cuz clearly they showed they're not They didn't stick around when he asked them to be there for the first part of the investigation, they left. So, um yeah, I thought they did a good job and ultimately they ended up finding meth and getting it off the street. And and I don't think she's going to end up probably doing some time for this one. And the fact that they gave her no bond on the other two and then cash bonds of $250,000, I'm guessing she's still in jail or guilty now. Anyway, let me know what you think.
