Any medical conditions I need to be aware of? I I don't know what they are specifically, but yes. Yeah? Okay. What do they do? What do they >> I couldn't tell you specifically, but yes. Okay. All right, everybody. Welcome back. We've got another video for you. This one comes from Code Blue Cam, and it is if I can get this going here, how a routine traffic stop turned into a complete disaster. Haven't seen it? Let's go. Hey, if you stop Hey. On the ground. Yeah. Give me your other hand. This is a result of a simple traffic stop, but officers don't yet realize it's only the beginning of what should have been a routine night that will turn far more chaotic. >> Oh, they got the spit mask on him already. At around 7:40 p.m. on May 9th, 2025, a New Berlin police officer notices [music] a red Chevy Equinox repeatedly honking at another car and driving erratically between lanes in an area in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. When as she initiates a traffic stop, [music] what begins as a routine inquiry will quickly escalate in ways she does not expect. >> Officer Ali, New Berlin PD. Oh, sorry. Sorry. >> okay. Oh, it's okay. I love dogs. I don't mind. Oh. He just mashed that. Oh my god. I'm sorry. That's okay. He's a puppy. I get it. Hey, where you headed to? Um I'm headed to my brother's house. Came out here to see my mom. Okay. Perfect. Well, give me a sec. We'll get you going, okay? And then, yeah, you might need a towel. The suspect is 40-year-old Christopher, and the officer has already noticed incriminating evidence, which he will quickly relay to the backup officer upon his arrival. So, a alcoholic beverage in the car, um open container is a lot probably a law certainly a law in Arizona to have open container. But, it's what even more so, it's an indication that they he's probably been drinking. Um this gal standing here, side note, is probably a ride-along with this other officer. For now, as she runs Christopher's [music] ID through the system, she receives a message from a colleague advising that she has a prior history with him and [music] that he is known to be a user. You're always listening to the radio, see if you notice a name or somebody on a traffic stop, and then you can if you can help out a fellow officer, which in this particular case, somebody really hears the name, says, "Hey, FYI, this guy's known to be a drug use drug user." This guy is insanely drunk right now. I was sitting on No, he's cleaning up. So He's He has a dog in his car. Yeah. He's got a closed Smirnoff Ice, and in the excitement the dog punctured it and spread Smirnoff Ice all over the car. Amazing. So, he's cooperative, extremely drunk, though. Just a heads-up. What's up? My mom's on her way, like driving right behind us. Okay. That's okay. Don't be freaked out. Hey, I'm going to have you do me a solid, though. You're going to step out with me, okay? And we're going to have a chat. Yeah, no problem. I just don't want to lose these, okay? >> No, no problem. Okay, dear. He won't jump out. Can you >> No, no, he won't. You just shut the door. Oh my goodness. Slurred speech. His hands are being held in a weird position. That's also kind of different. He's You could tell he was stumbling a little bit as he got out. Doesn't have good balance right now. Any weapons on you? No, no, no, no. Do you mind if my partner here searches you? No, you can go ahead and turn around and face the car for me. Have you ever had contact with Excellent. Yes, I have. When was that? I recognize you. I'm trying to remember how I remember you. Uh Springdale? So on a frisk like this or a pat down like this, typically what you're doing is you're patting patting down for anything that is like a weapon or something that could potentially hurt you. You typically don't do a search in this particular uh situation. However, the officer did say, "You okay if I search you?" And he did say yes, so he gave verbal consent of it. Springdale, do you know what I mean? I remember. Okay, I remember now. How much alcohol have you had today? None. Not at all? No, ma'am. Um so I'm going to be running you through >> I don't know who that is. Don't Yeah, don't don't worry about her. Sorry. My mom is on her way. I know I feel So what I'm going to do, just from what I'm picking up and indicators that I observe, I'm going to be running you through some fields, okay? I just want to make sure you're safe to drive. >> Sure, sure. No, I Why'd you call your mom already? Uh because I I saw the police lights behind me and And I'm a grown man and I want to call my mommy. >> [snorts] >> Pathetic. I got scared. Okay. I just was worried about the dog. Okay. Well, I'm going to have you stand up, okay? So that way we can get you all set to go, okay? So >> Yep. I'd rather I'd rather not take field sobriety So you're not willing to cooperate with any of my tests? >> trying to tell you that I'm not willing to cooperate. I just Okay. Well, I'd like you to try the test because right now I want to give you the benefit of the doubt. I want to give you the benefit >> the test? Okay. Yeah, the SFST. Okay. Any medical conditions I need to be aware of? I I don't know what they are specifically, but yes. Yeah, okay. What do they do? I don't know what my medical conditions are, but yes, I have medical conditions. Okay. What do they >> I couldn't tell you specifically, but yes. Okay. While Christopher appears cooperative and responsive for now, that will quickly [music] change once he notices his mother arriving at the scene. There she is. Okay. Well, we'll we'll worry about her in a in a sec, okay? I don't want you to be distracted. We're in the middle of an investigation and a traffic stop here, so I just need you to wait in your car and I'll give you a rundown of everything when it's all over. >> Can I just stay right here? Just stay right where you're at, okay? Just stay in the vehicle. Thank you. So, can you finish the test with me? >> No, no. So, you're not willing to continue the tests? >> you that I'm not willing to continue with anything. Okay, then what are you telling me? I don't want to argue with you. No, that's okay. I'm just going to ask, are you willing to do my tests? Are you willing to cooperate with us if we ask you? >> I'm willing to Okay, can we continue then? I'd rather just go see what's what's just to make sure that she can take my dog home. >> so I'm going to tell you right now that's not an option right now. Right now I'm I'm conducting an investigation, okay? Are you willing to perform the tests that I'm asking you to perform? Of course. Okay, can we continue those, please? Okay, we good. Okay, can you stand with your feet together for me? My feet are together. Nope, touch them, please. I need them touching. I was playing with my dog at the park for the last half hour and now we're here doing a finger test and I'm liable, you know? Okay, I'm going to have you keep following up, okay? Can you take your hat off? It might be easier for you. >> Nope. That's okay, we'll leave it there. I'll make you do one more test. >> I'd rather be done right now. Okay, so I'm going to have you turn around. Yep, there you go. DUI. Okay. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt, dude, but She did. She tried multiple times to give him the benefit of the doubt. Um, he wasn't having any part of it. I love how they just got it, put the cuffs on. Well, you do what you got to do. Absolutely. Yep, absolutely. We'll and we'll make sure Winston gets in with your mom, okay? >> Yep, perfect. You can take care of the dog. I'm not going anywhere. I got that. Tough guy. I'm just telling the system. Okay. Changing his attitude now. All right, buddy. You're going to go in a restraint chair. Yeah, yeah. Mother Yeah. Been dealing with him since he was 13 years old. He's 42 years old years old now and somehow this is the police's fault. It's your fault. You got to change your behavior. Notice how he wasn't saying any of this when he was not in handcuffs. Then when he gets the handcuffs on, now all of a sudden he's Mr. Tough Guy. As Christopher's behavior suddenly turns hostile, officers don't yet realize this is only the beginning and that the situation will escalate in ways they do not see coming. Down on him. There you go. You got to do a leg sweep. Oh, no. Yeah, put your knee on my chest. You got a female helping you. Yeah, put your hand on my arm. You ass mother f- Here comes the sergeant. >> Call your backup. I just got him in the car and he turned and spit in my face. I got to spit all over my face. >> Hey bud. Yeah. Can you not do that? Hey buddy, yeah. I definitely do. Hey man, I'm the supervisor and I can I can tell like obviously you're upset. I do. >> my cuffs? See these two [ __ ] I I see them. >> smashing me now? But hey, this is what it is, man. >> I don't want you to look here, right? There's a 67-year-old woman old and then there's my [ __ ] dog right there. Yeah, well, you shouldn't have been acting a fool. That's fine, babe. Yeah, you're going to end up in a chair. Are you going to go along with the program? [ __ ] you. >> You're going to end up in a chair and that's not too good with you. >> chair looks like. I'm not worried about it. >> where are you going? Very good. Yeah. [ __ ] you. Grab me a spit hood and hobble leg irons. Stop. Yep. Yeah, grab them. There we go. Got the hobbles. Do it, tough guy. Yeah. So we had a situation like this. I've told the story before, but I'll tell it again and I won't say who the name is. One of our guys, out where I first started working, he there was a guy spitting around and they said to him, "Hey, go grab a spit mask." And so he goes back, comes back, and the officer is wearing the spit mask when he comes back. That is not what it's for. You're supposed to put it on the suspect. Yeah. The hood towel. Tough [ __ ] So something about me, I love a good snack. And frankly, I love chips. But the problem with these chips nowadays, there's like 40 ingredients in these things. There's like seed oils, artificial flavors, a bunch of mystery chemicals. Who knows what's in them? And frankly, when you eat them, you don't feel good after and the taste is honestly gone downhill. That's why I love Masa Chips. I love these things. Not They're made with three ingredients. They're made with organic corn, they're made with sea salt, and 100% grass-fed beef tallow. Uh some of my favorites, so you can get all of them. You got churro, you got a bunch of them. I'm digging the lime and the habanero. Love them. And if you feel like you need a potato chip, you can also get their Vandy chips. These things are delicious as well. They don't have all the ingredients, but they don't miss out on the deliciousness and the crunch of the snack. I love it. So, make sure you go get yourself some chips today. masachips.com/lamb. You're going to get 25% off if you put in the code word lamb. So, masachips.com/lamb. Make sure you get your masa chips or Vandy chips today. You will thank me later. Now, let's get back to the video. You should grab one when you need one. You don't need one. You spit in my face. Yeah, you need a spit mask. I'll treat you like one. Yeah. Punch my [ __ ] arm, you. How long did you How long did you serve? I served 3 and 1/2 years. Do you want me to get your mom over here and tell her Hey, hey, hey, hey, I did fine if you want to compare. Sucker. You. How about that? You guys are like Stop. >> Slap my face again. >> Do not spit. Get that on video. That's a Driving. That's an assault. There we go. Yeah. Yeah. Go do that. Mom's in the car and she's decent. >> Yeah, mom is fine. Yeah, your goddamn right she's decent. You can't do anything. You guys have no idea. All your names are on the police report. I can't wait. I think I got to tell them to wipe my face. Absolutely. Wipe wipe your face. Wipe your face. You [ __ ] [ __ ] They're all, "Yeah, you're real tough." If I wanted to flip over and [ __ ] knock the out of all three of you, I would. What's that? He did nothing. You'll do nothing. You did nothing when you had the opportunity. You only started doing it once you got in cuffs, Mr. Tough Guy. >> Huh? Oh, what? Did you threaten us just now? What did you say? Did I threaten you? Yeah. No, you threatened me. How? You just said you're going to knock the [ __ ] out of all three of us, correct? >> Yeah, if you if you you keep [ __ ] and turning my [ __ ] arm, what the [ __ ] is your problem? >> Well, you're resisting. If you stop resisting >> Yeah, you're right. Yeah, you're right. Yeah, you're right. I ain't even moving for 5 minutes. So, you've made every decision that's occurred here today. No. You can start making good ones. You can start making good ones. As Christopher continues lashing out at officers, they will later learn that he already [music] has two open cases out of Walworth County, including misdemeanor charges for carrying a concealed knife, paraphernalia, and possession of Damn. under restrictions prohibiting alcohol possession [music] and consumption, which he has clearly violated this day. Take his shoes off. I searched him up. I didn't search his shoes. >> Yep. Everything else should be good. Mom should have just not shown up. She should just not even taken his call. She shows up and part of the reason why he behaves the way he behaves is cuz she just shows up to save the day all the time. I got knives and guns in my [ __ ] shoes, you [ __ ] But even after being tackled by several officers, Christopher continues to threaten and insult them as they prepare to take him to the hospital for mandatory blood work. >> Stay on your side, please. >> Stay on your side. Just stay on your side. Just like that. Just like that. How long is that? Oh, we don't want to do that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to let go. So, they got to go to the hospital take the blood. We used phlebotomist. Uh so, we would send our deputies to go get trained in phlebotomy so they could actually take the blood of the people that we needed to arrest or that we're charging with DUI. out. I will get the doctor and get her in the mom and get her We're going to roll on your side. Just Please, I was going to let do want to here. Do you want me Is it okay if I just grab his collar and put put him in here? Hang on tight? Side? Yep. That way you don't have to sit here. I wanted to get you out of here. I'm sorry. Good boy. Good dog. What's that? In my car. So typically on this particular case you would get the mom's name and information because in the report you're going to put that you turned the dog over to the mother but you'll also want the the the name and ID and identifier so that later on he can't say that wasn't even my mom that you turned the dog over to. So hopefully she'll get her ID. They may not even show that part. >> I can look. Don't Yeah, spit nails. Yeah, you're getting really hurt. You understand when you spit into the dog I'm the New Berlin police. Have you ever worked in Milwaukee? Have you ever been on 3rd Street in [ __ ] North? Have you ever done anything in your [ __ ] life? You understand when you you helped the [ __ ] community? spit in that it goes back in your face. All right. Well I mean like like you I did I'm going to go do 10 years in a [ __ ] military prison so just don't Sounds like a good place for you. army Since you wanted to talk about service. All right. [ __ ] talking to me you All right. Although usually the guys that run their mouths most about their service are the ones that didn't do [ __ ] at all. Yep. That's true. in your school and you have none. Well I just told you my experience. Boy look me up. I did look you up. You useless [ __ ] piece of sex prize Yeah, sex prize. sex prize sex prize. All right. doggy are gone. Oh god, you guys worked so hard. You deserve it. All right. You want to stand up for me? Roll on your side. Bring your knee up. Roll onto that side. Bring this knee up and then roll onto it and up. So, roll. There you go. Good. Roll off it over there. I'm supposed to be wearing this. Supposed to walk the smooth floor. Oh, they brought out the paddy wagon for him. A van so they could put the chair in there and put him in. Thank you, sir. Put your hands down a little bit. Yep. All right. Waist first. Waist first, ankles. I want you to be comfortable so I'm not going to These guys are great. They're very nice with them. I got these weak arms. They don't pull that hard. We're going to have to go to the hospital either way. Yep. Um so, cuz it's 7:00 p.m. Should we just go out to the facade? Um hospital, WMH. Go ahead. We'll try it. We'll try. I actually agree with you here. Yep. All right. Here we go. These guys are being very cool. All right. >> Going up. Drive me to jail. Take me home. Officers conducted a thorough search of the car [music] but found no other suspicious items apart from the alcohol bottles inside. And while the initial scene appears to calm down, more [music] is in store for officers at the hospital. Oh boy. transport to jail as Christopher is not done with them yet. Oh boy. So, we at the hospital or the jail? Looks like the hospital. Those are officer Officer Halidays. We're doing the search warrant. What is the search warrant for? Search warrant for Yep. I can't even just consent to that. You can consent, but she I just consent to that. She read read you the informing the accused and you said no. Right. So that's why she's filling out the search warrant. Can we just consent to that or I can go talk to her. I think she's almost She's almost done. She's almost done with it. >> Yeah. I mean she Look, consent is great, but the a search warrant is even better. Judge signs off on it. So if they can get the search warrant at this point, may as well just go forward with the search warrant. >> And then I mean you can tell her that Regardless of I I can't judge that, but She'll be here shortly, so it sounds like it was authorized. So we're all we're all good. >> We're not all good. You're all good. Well, we're all good with moving forward in this process is what I'm saying. Definitely that. All right. Spit the ass going in my face. Him. I got I got I got your spit all over my face. Oof. So, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's a hard one. I wouldn't I wouldn't have wanted to be a cop, but No. Yeah. I apologize, but I meant it. >> [laughter] >> That's actually funny. He's like, "I'd apologize, but I meant it all." I don't know if I should say thank you or not. I'll take it however you want to take it. I'm in prison for the next 5 to 7 years. So I understand you're frustrated. >> Hey man, that's your any better. Yeah. Actually got number six. Judge said if you get number seven, you're going to be doing about a decade. I'm going to make Seven DUIs. Doesn't learn his lesson. Should be should go to prison for a significant amount of time. Make sure of it, but I read the statute and everything. Yeah. And doing every day of 10 years. No. Sitting in this chair, you think I'd give a [ __ ] about spitting in your face or if this kid's a Good point. I can just grab this over here or something. It don't matter. 10 years. Right. It would matter because they could take those charges for assault or whatever he's going to get charged with on this and they can stack it on the back end, put it down for uh to run consecutive, not concurrent, which means that he wouldn't work serve both his sentences at the same time. He would serve serve one and then start to serve the other. So, it does matter. I'm going to be earning J can drive. Damn I need it. What's in the car? Okay, so just Yeah. Just a heads-up, a judge did authorize a warrant for your blood, okay? Ultimately, Christopher was charged with felony operating while intoxicated, seventh offense, discharging bodily fluids at an officer, battery threat to an officer, operating with prohibited alcohol content, misdemeanor, operating while revoked, resisting obstructing an officer, bail jumping times two. His cash bond was set at $30,000. Eventually, he was found guilty due to a no contest plea of OWI. Well, let's see what he got charged with. >> discharging bodily fluids and battery threat to an officer, remaining charges were dismissed. Ultimately, [music] he was sentenced to 6 years in state prison following Well, he was pretty much right. He got 6 years in prison. 8 years of extended supervision. Extended supervision is tough. So, no contest plea, we've talked about it before if you've listen watched my videos. If you haven't, a no contest basically, you're saying you're not guilty, but you also understand that the court or the prosecution or the state in this particular case, the state, has enough evidence to convict you and so you plead no contest and you do that so that you can drop some of the other charges and ultimately, he had all those felonies, got 6 years in prison. I don't like this seeing it maybe 8 to 10, but 6 years in prison. He did get 8 years extended supervision. My My is he will fail during that extended supervision and likely be back in prison again. So, let me know what you think. Uh how would you deal with somebody spitting in your face? All right. I've had that happen. It sucks. Takes you off immediately. I thought even though they did this, the Midwest, uh Wisconsin uh pleasantness still existed within those officers. They still treated this guy. He was not pleasant. He was a jerk once he got the cuffs on. Uh he wasn't talking tough until that. Once he got the cuffs on, then he started talking tough. So, like the other guy said, the other cop said, it's usually the guys who talk all about how great they are that typically uh are not the ones that are great. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. Did he get enough time? Was it enough of a bond? Is uh was justice served in this case? And I'll catch you on the next video.
