Did she come at you at all with the knife? Came at you? >> No, at her. >> Came at her, okay. >> And then she came at me that way with the knife. >> here right here. She didn't come at me cuz I was ready for her. >> Okay. All right, everybody, welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from Deep Dive Body Cam, and it is store employee disrespected her. She came back naked with a knife. It's got to be in the South because they got hot boiled peanuts over here for sale. So, I haven't seen it. Let's go. >> Hello, what up, police? >> Oh. >> Cool. You're just so cool. >> Is Is anybody here >> Okay, what kind of mental problems do you have to have or drug abuse problems do you have to have to think that when somebody disrespects you, that the your reaction is to come back naked to the store? Injured at all? >> No, sir. >> This is This is the what she was using to stab people. >> What started as a normal shift quickly turned into a situation no one inside was prepared for. walks in completely exposed, armed with a sharp object, and making direct threats. And that's the moment everything shifts. >> Temporary 10-39. >> Looks like maybe Florida. Palm trees, green uniforms, Florida deputy. >> So cool, huh? You're just so cool. I like you. You ain't [ __ ] >> Okay. Excellent job, deputy. Walked in, didn't say anything, straight to the cuffs. Well done. >> What? >> OKAY, STOP. >> I DON'T WANT TO BE TALKING TO THIS PERSON. >> You can slap everybody else. >> Y'all were rude. Yep. You can't touch me, huh? I'm a nice [ __ ] what? How you letting the yikes get that? >> Pinellas. So, that's like Tampa. >> And he's not going to get that many years. I'm from out Okay. >> At this point, officers begin documenting the scene, focusing on the damage left behind. >> Dang. >> The store, knocked over displays, items scattered across the floor. On the surface, it might seem minor, but in cases like this, even small details matter because they help establish a pattern of behavior, showing how the situation escalated from a disturbance into something far more unstable. >> Well, already you've got disorderly conduct. I mean, take a look at this. Criminal damage, uh public indecency. The list is already stacked up against her, but now they're going to go and put it all together. The reason why you have to go and do these figure out how much damage was done is because there's different levels of criminality in criminal damage when depending on the amount of damage that occurred. >> Give me my phone real quick. >> Who are you, man? What >> Yeah, S10 10-A 10-A the channel. Now, we have enough units on scene. We don't need anybody else. >> So, when he said S10, that's his call sign. 10-A the channel, which means they had probably the channel held because the call probably came out with a a naked woman in the store with a knife, trashing everything. And so, the first people on scene are going to ask to clear the channel until the the scene is safe. This way, no other traffic throughout the county or throughout whatever channel they're on is going to be interfering with them dealing with this particular case. Very common with a case like this where there's an active threat and deputies are responding with somebody with a gun, with a knife, anything like that, you're going to clear the channel, you're going to hold the channel. And in this particular case, he's clearing the channel now for regular traffic, saying that they have enough units on scene. >> Kenny, what are your numbers? >> Uh for what? >> To log in >> listen. Is Is anybody here injured at all? >> No, but this is this is the what she was using to stab people. >> Yeah. >> Who was she stabbing? Anybody? >> Everybody. >> She was waving around? >> Yeah, everybody. Yeah. >> Was she threatening anybody with the knife? >> Yeah, everybody here. >> Yeah. >> She Well, okay. Did Did she come at you at all with the knife? >> Yes, she came at me with the knife. >> Came at you? >> No, at her. >> Came at her, okay. >> She came at me that way with a >> I was standing right here. She didn't come at me cuz I was ready for >> Okay, I appreciate it. All right, so All right, do you need a minute? Is anybody else here working with you? >> Uh me? >> Oh, you work here, too? >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. Well, it's confusing. He's standing over here like he's a patron. It doesn't seem like he works there. He's got a Reebok sweatshirt on and it's not even behind the counter. I didn't know he worked there, either. Um all right, can you grab their information for now and help them get settled down and help these folks out so they can go. Oh, he's got a hat. Um I just leave everything as it is. We'll get We got to do some photos. If you want to help these guys out, get them going, whatever you're buying, whatever, we'll get you guys going out of here, okay? And we'll talk to you guys. >> All right. >> Can I get really close? >> Ice breakers. >> Oh, yes. Oh, it's like that because I see it with that and I can understand if it's a >> Yeah, well, we're going to delve into that. Him and also the clerk. >> You're sure? >> So Melanie's here, she'll probably take it, I'm guessing. >> Yeah, she She's taking >> This is the third time, man. >> Or it might be >> Well, you don't really have to search her that hard. I mean, it's pretty much everything you can see, whether she's holding anything else, unless it's in her prison pocket. >> be 14 inches actually. >> Prison pockets. >> I don't I'll check and see. >> All right. Like I said, just leave everything as is. We're going to get some photos and you guys can clean up after that. I assume she did all this, is that correct? >> This is everything here. >> Okay. All right. Where's Where's her clothes at? Does she have clothes here? Okay. All right. >> She's coming very then that is straight. She's coming >> Coming off of Himes Road or uh >> I don't know. I don't know. >> Over that way? >> Yeah, it's coming that way not this road on the other side. >> Okay. Were you inside when this happened? >> No, I was very close to the door when I see something like a car so >> All right. Okay. All right. So, what you're going to do in this situation, you got to get all their their their information, name, address, date of birth, um a witness statement, so they'll fill out a witness statement. Some don't want to fill it out, so you'll you'll have to take the statement, make notes, and then go back and put it in your report later. Makes it easy with body cam because when they're telling you the story, you can always go back and pull up the body cam and review that to put in the report. >> Yeah, so I was I was talking to him if he can take pictures and everything. >> You're doing okay? >> Yeah, I'm okay. I just I just >> I got it. Take Take a breather. We'll come back. Folks, do you know some of those companies out there that produce soap and moisturizers and all that other stuff? And they're great, but then they get bought up by these mega corporations, they get hijacked, and they lose their identity. That's why I love The Van Man Company. Van Man has been doing this for years. They've been using tallow beef tallow for years. Grass-fed tallow as a moisturizer. Honestly, one of the best products that I love from them is this tallow and honey balm. It's the bomb, pun intended. It is awesome. Now, the tallow, you're the fatty acids in the tallow, your skin recognize that as a natural moisturizer. Your skin feels better, and because there's no garbage in it, filler garbage, this little thing, this goes a long way. I've had this for a while, use it all time, and it is great. It's going to replace a lot of the lotion you have, the night cream, the wrinkle cream, all that other stuff. You're going to be able to replace it with something like the tallow and honey balm. Also, if you like [clears throat] their miracle tooth powder, they've got uh lip balms, they've got pearl eye cream, they got a whole slew of things that you can choose from. So, make sure you go to vanman.shop/lamb and uh put in the code word lamb, and you're going to get 15% off your first order. All right, let's get back to our video. Back to talk to you in a little bit, okay? All right. >> [laughter] >> All right. Yeah, yeah, that's fine. Okay. Do you want to You got pictures already? All right. >> Officer, did you find her clothes? >> No. Apparently, she showed up without clothes on. So, you know, who knows? It's Crack is a crazy thing, you know. >> [laughter] >> There's got to be something, you know. You guys waiting in line or what? Oh, yeah, I think it's over there. All right. Is anything else damaged at all, or just this area here? >> This area. There was cigarettes right there. >> Okay. Okay. Everybody else is going about their >> business. >> But she didn't threaten you though. >> Not at all. >> Okay. All right. >> I'm assistant real quick. >> Yes. Stay clear of that. >> Now, whether he she threatened him or not, he can be a victim of disorderly conduct because clearly she disturbed the peace and quiet of everybody in the store as well. >> So, all right. >> I'm Chicago. I'm She got all this. She got all this. She do all the funny stuff over here. >> Okay. >> It's funny stuff. >> Well, when you get a chance, we'll assess how much damage there is. So, we can see. But we're we're done with our pictures here. So, when you're ready. >> Okay. >> Okay. I know you got people to help out. So, no rush. We'll come talk to you in a little bit, okay? >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> At one point, she tries to justify her behavior, framing the outburst as a response to how she claims she was treated in the past. But that explanation doesn't hold for long because when destructive behavior escalates to threats and violence, it stops being about justification and starts becoming a safety issue. >> What? 10-4. What? Got a body for 2 months. I've been miserable. How dare you? You didn't expect that. Come back. What? You got to come back, honey. You got to have the drive. You got to have heart and soul and >> East coaster from New York sounds like from New York, Jersey, one of those. >> Want to live. And now I'll be preserved for a few years and I'll come back a better person. What? And you never see this? And what? Get this party started. They were rude. What? YOU DIDN'T EXPECT THAT. COME BACK. PLAY UP. >> HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I said these folks are walking around amongst society with us and they're like a hair away from this? >> Snow fun. What? What? And a what? And she don't stop. See? >> She is >> a woman, but some men are disrespectful. When you cross my legs. >> High [snorts] as a kite. >> I love my body, though. Hi. Hi. >> What's your last name, honey? >> That's okay. >> Celia, c e l i a. >> Last name? What's your date of birth? >> 4 >> 8 >> 4 >> And your phone number? >> April. >> I don't have one. >> All right. What's your address? >> And I also don't have one. >> Okay. Transient? >> Now I got it. She doesn't have clothes, either. >> Right now. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. All right. Can you tell me what happened today? >> Well, let's just say I had a bad Christmas and holiday. I had a um a fallout with them, and they just treated me so bad every day for the last two and a half months I've been going through trauma >> Okay. >> thinking about it. >> So, what happened here tonight? >> Um oh, there >> Yeah, in the gas station. >> Oh, I don't even know. I probably did that accidentally to myself. Then I got drunk, and I shouldn't have got drunk because I knew better cuz I knew I was going to get them back cuz they were so horrible to me. And I had the most horrible Christmas because of them. They were just so cruel to me. I'm so >> All right. Do you remember what you did when you went in the store? >> Yeah. I mean, like I just I I remember like I just blacked out. >> All right. All right. How much alcohol have you had today? >> Like like five shots, but >> How many shots of what? >> Um um liquor, and I'm going to be real. I remember everything I did. I did kind of I mean, it's a blackout cuz I drank alcohol, and I went to 7-Eleven and alcohol, but I remember what I did. I kicked down stuff, and it's just, you know, it felt good for the release cuz they were so bad to me. Like they >> There's is admission of guilt there, so >> They gave me no choice but to do that. I'm sorry. >> Oh, they gave her no choice but to do that. Oh, so it's their fault. >> You have to see all this and like y'all >> All right, no worries. Thanks. >> I'm assuming for anybody who's going to say we didn't hear Miranda, I'm assuming they probably already Mirandized her. Um typically that's when you would Mirandize somebody is before you ask them questions. >> Just a civil matter. 340, thanks. >> All right, sweetie. Can I get these clothes on you before you get out, please? We don't want you to go out here naked and it's Yeah, it is a little cold out. What happened to your clothes? >> Thank you. I had taken them off on the sidewalk out front. It's so cold outside. >> I know. Thank you so much. >> Why you wanted to fight? I had no clothes on. >> I Oh my god, you look like a sir. >> Do the shirt and then >> So these are jail clothes, clearly. >> And we're going to let you step out. >> Thank you. >> Well, this is over here. >> Very nice of them to do this. >> Yes. All right, switch out. Switch out, pull them up. >> Nice to have females there, female deputies and detention officers that can handle this. >> What makes >> Def- You're going to definitely want to clean that seat off. Uh yeah. Definitely want to clean that seat off. >> This case stand out isn't just the threats, it's the absence of control from start to finish because there was no clear motive, no demand, no objective driving the behavior. >> This is the problem with with people who are crazy where you can't predict behavior sometimes. Like they just said, no motive, no apparent reason, just loses it and loses control. >> Just escalation without direction. Authorities say Celia Barrett was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated assault, disorderly intoxication, criminal mischief, exposure, and trespassing. But beyond the charges, this highlights a bigger issue. When someone reaches a state where behavior becomes this unstable, the situation can shift from manageable to dangerous in seconds. The question is, how do you respond to a situation that doesn't follow any pattern at all? >> That's a great question. How do you respond to a situation like this doesn't follow any pattern? I thought that the way that the deputies responded was great. They showed up, immediately put her in cuffs, got the scene under control, figured out this is their only suspect. Um they made an assessment of the damage, they talked to the witnesses. Uh this lady's got some issues, alcohol. I believe there's probably some drugs on board as well. Clearly probably got some mental health issues. Um walking into a store naked and with a knife and trashing the place and threatening people is just not normal behavior. So anyway, let me know what you think. What would you have done in this situation and did they respond the way did you uh did you think that the way that they handled this was good? I thought it was good, but I'd love to know your your thoughts. Comment, like, subscribe. We'll catch on the next video.
