On where? >> Hey, put your leg in there. Don't you dare do that. Or you'll be tied up like a pretzel. >> All right, everybody, welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from Police Ride Alongs and it is called Want to Be Tough Guy Meets No-Nonsense Cops. Like the way it sounds. Haven't seen it. Let's go. >> illegally detained multiple times when I'm a Greek citizen with NATO clearance. >> If you've been illegally detained multiple times, regardless of the Greek citizen stuff, whatever, whatever, you got a problem. It's probably not It's not the police. It's you. >> On this ride-along, an officer makes a pretzel threat. >> Or you'll be tied up like a pretzel. >> Another laughs at the body cam. Deputies takes off his seatbelt with style. >> Okay. You wearing gloves driving? >> September 1st, a sheriff's deputy was operating moving radar on Highway 441 in Florida when he saw a speeding Kia Sportage in the opposite lane of travel. The officer made a U-turn, clocked the SUV going 72 in a 50 mph zone, and pulled the driver over. >> Good stop. Hello. Deputy with the Sheriff's Office. The reason for the stop, you were going 72 back there in a posted 55. >> Oh, really? >> Yes. >> I've been tailed the whole way with people going 100. How does that sound? >> No, that's not how I drive. >> Right. Sure. Am I free to go? >> No. >> I have FBI clearance, so >> Do you have your driver's license? I do. But But I need something by then. >> No, you don't. >> Yes, I do. >> No, you don't. You don't have the right >> What am I being stopped for? >> 72 in a posted 55. >> I'm a Greek citizen. >> You're a who? >> A Greek citizen. >> Yeah. >> So what? >> Try that. Try So here's the Florida license. >> No, go ahead. Which one do you want? >> I need a Florida driver's license. >> Why? Why not this? This is an international driving license. >> Okay, and you have a Florida one. >> All right, take it. You can have it. Am I free to go? >> No, you're >> No. You're not free to go. And cut with the attitude. It's really just a traffic stop, dude. Clearly this guy has been through this before and acts like a horse's ass um whenever he gets pulled over. That's how it looks to me. >> Do you have registration and insurance? >> I don't have it. It's a rental. >> Can I see your some type of registration for the vehicle? >> I don't know where it is. I don't know why you're so upset with me. Think about it for a little bit. >> There's nothing I can think about. >> New ball. Here. >> You're free to go back to Greece at any time. If If you don't like the way our country operates and traffic laws, go back at any point. Does have a nice watch on though, looks like. >> Here. Is that good? >> No. I need to take find the registration and all that other stuff. >> I don't have a registration for a car I don't own. >> Okay. >> Which is true. >> The officer would return to his patrol vehicle to run the man's license. But as he was doing that, he noticed the man putting on gloves and watching the officer in his mirror. Unsure of what >> So weird. >> And given his prior argumentative behavior, the officer decided to ask the man to exit his vehicle. >> Absolutely. Good good job on the deputy. They're pulled On top of that, look at where they're pulled over. This guy pulls over into the turn lane. He's still basically in traffic. He didn't pull over off to the right. He didn't pull over into this parking lot here. He pulls over right here. He's lucky the deputy didn't chew him out for that, which I would have. >> 26 >> Identify yourself out of the vehicle. >> No. >> Step out. >> No. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> No. No, this is an illegal search and seizure. >> Yes, it is. >> Yes, it is. >> You don't know. It's not an illegal search and seizure. >> Yes, it's not. >> I'm going to give you one more >> have a warrant? >> to jail. >> Do you have a warrant? >> I'm letting you know now. >> Don't need a warrant to get him out of the vehicle. >> Okay. >> Search me. >> Step out. >> Search me. No. Oh, get up. Taser. I will taser you. Put your hands >> Is this thing >> I got to do it next time. I got to do it now. >> Wait, give me >> What are you doing? I promise I'll be peaceful. All right, I'm good right now. >> That's cool. I could have got out and helped. I got the gloves. Gloves throws me off. Good work, deputy. >> I'm the FBI and ATF agents. Not illegal. Not illegal. >> Did he have knives? >> With what this time? Have a seat. >> Oh, now you're getting nice. >> Have a seat. >> Now you're getting nice. >> Have a seat. >> And the deputy was always pretty nice. I didn't think the deputy was being rude at all. Especially with the way that this guy was coming back at him. >> Newbold number 160 >> Like your channel. I don't want to say that. >> Moments later, another officer would arrive on scene. >> Deputy. Deputy. >> I tell him I pull him over 72 in a 55. >> Yeah. >> He said that wasn't me. He was being a tailgater, being a hunter. I'm looking at you the whole time. I tell him the reason for stop, he's FBI, whatever. I get out. I see him throwing gloves on. So, I'm like, "Okay, I don't know what you're doing. You're getting out." Cuz he As I'm back there, he has gloves on. So, I don't know if he's got a gun. What? He's throwing them at me. I come up here, tell him to get out. No, I tell him to yank his ass out of there if he don't get out. He gets out. He comes right here. >> 3870, I'm out with 36 in me. >> Yeah, he's going to jail. There's nothing about it. He's going to And he >> And in the report you're going to you're going to notate that even the the passing vehicles on the other side of the road had to pull over because of the behavior of his resisting. Pulled over and asked the deputy if he was okay, if he needed help. That is going to be uh a big that'll have a lot of weight on the report. >> Claiming to be FBI? He said that he's FBI, wearing a badge or quote unquote. So. >> The officers would go check on this claim. >> And then, what's going on? >> What's going on? >> Yeah. >> I've been illegally detained multiple times when I'm a Greek citizen with NATO clearance. And and FBI DCF clearance. >> We don't care about your NATO clearance. FBI clearance. So, what does that got has anything to do with you speeding? >> 72 in a 45 when your officers were going 100 past feet. I'm an international citizen. You can't arrest me repeatedly. I'm a US and a Greek citizen. >> Okay, so what's that got to do with you doing 72 in a 45? >> Hit me with a speeding ticket, huh? >> That's probably what would have happened, but you made it worse. >> All right, go ahead. >> He told you he was with the FBI? >> Yeah. >> I didn't say that. I said I have FBI DCF clearance. >> What does that mean to us? >> I apparently none of you know. >> means nothing. >> All right. >> The man is possibly referring to FBI and DCF criminal background checks. These checks are mandated by Florida law for jobs involving positions of trust, such as healthcare workers, teachers, and >> I like the explanation. Police ride-along's good. >> first responders, among others. The NATO clearance is possibly referring to someone who has been vetted and given access to classified information that belongs to NATO, but that's just a guess. Let us know in the comments if you think it's something else. >> Am I free to go? >> No, no. >> No, you're not free to go. >> You're going to jail. >> What are you talking about? >> You resisted. >> Right, because you threw me against the cruiser. >> Yeah, we're we're all done. >> Gone where? >> Hey, put your leg in there. Don't you dare do that, or you'll be tied up like A PRETZEL. YOU >> YOU ALREADY DID THAT. And nobody closed van transfers. >> Uh The other He just got a taste of what this guy was dealing with. >> You can hold that. >> How do you I don't know how to do anything else. >> You can hold this side right here. >> So, that happened. He was charged with resisting without violence and given a $1,000 bond. Court documents don't show that he ever posted bond, so he likely remained in jail until his plea agreement and sentencing 24 days later. He pled no contest to the charge and was assessed court costs and fines totaling $1,523. He was also sentenced to 24 days in jail, which coincided with the time he already served, so he was credited for that and free to go. >> So, that makes sense. He didn't post a bond and was given 24 days in jail as a sentence, which means that he didn't post the bond and sat in jail for 24 days, pled no contest, which is basically like pleading guilty. Um and then the court makes their determination and then he got $1,500 in fines. All because he wanted to act a fool, all he had to do was just give the driver's license, say, "Hey, officer, I'm sorry. I'll I'll I'll tone it down a little bit." The Florida deputies are usually pretty good. Um I I don't even know if he would have got a ticket. Probably just a little cage rattle and that was it. But, instead, he escalated it and uh he ended up in jail 24 days. Hopefully, he lost his NATO and FBI clearance. Usually, that happens when you do that. And um I don't know. He's welcome to go back to Greece. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. How did the deputies do? I think they did great and uh love to know what you think. We'll catch you on the next video.
