They actually have chili cheddar deluxe fries, but those have sour cream and onion on them. >> have sour cream, too, but He doesn't like sour cream and onion. I know, but that's why I got you the chili chili cheddar fries. Chili cheddar fries without sour cream and onion. So, I might try a few of that. And we got a video from Police Watch and it is Sorry, I got to move these fries. Flight erupts after passenger's racist outburst. Let's go. We haven't seen it. after a report of a disruptive passenger causing a disturbance. So, it looks like the flight has deplaned or is just getting ready to board. Cuz there's passengers in the jet bridge. Well, it looks like they deplaned it already to me. Oh. Oh, boy. >> Jeez. Citizens had to get involved. Police are here, so just comply or work it all right, my man? I want to talk to a lawyer for me. Oh, that's going to be illegal, since it's illegal legal that. All right. All right. Can you stand up? Okay, that's not how it works. You don't just get a lawyer right now when you're getting arrested. The lawyer can help you out when you go to jail or if you're going to get interviewed by the police. You can be your one call. Yeah, you can call your lawyer. He's your one who can do that. But in this particular moment, like we don't pause and go, "Hold on, he asked for a lawyer. Let's get his lawyer here so we can finish arresting him." It's not how it works. All right. Other side. All right, you got it. You got it. This is my parents' idea of moving me, you know that, right? I told them I would love to, and now this is what your airport does? I'm taking them to Supreme Court. Okay. Investigators say the disturbance began before departure on an American Airlines flight at Tampa International Airport when a passenger directed offensive language toward a flight attendant. And continued arguing with crew members and nearby passengers as the aircraft remained at the gate. He was later identified as 29-year-old Sahil. Sahil. Spread your feet. So he was yelling at everybody. Are you okay? I thought I didn't have a lawyer. I thought I thought this is freedom of speech. Uh freedom of speech news Let me explain to you freedom of speech, okay? Freedom of speech says you can say whatever you want. Um it does not absolve you of the consequences of what you say. And in some cases, freedom of speech can violate the law. And if you're being disorderly or threatening and intimidating, those are some of the >> Yelling at a movie theater, fire in a movie theater, or vomit in an airport right those are some things not protected speech. Not protected. >> Yeah. And you can say something, you have the freedom to say, but somebody may punch you in the mouth. That's part of the consequences of saying it. So, this guy was out running his mouth, and he found out that the airline didn't want him on the plane anymore. I did not I did not violently hit someone before me. I'm just Okay. He was doing a wild in-flight. Did you say cocktail? >> [laughter] >> Got to get some witness statements. So, he's just fighting with everybody, just yelling at everybody. >> he wouldn't be able to get on the plane. The gate agent would normally stop him. So, I don't know if things just escalated on the jet bridge. Cuz normally he would not be able to >> You don't just go from He probably was already a little unruly and they probably just wanted to get rid of him, send him down on the plane and then he just got worse. >> honestly. I don't know how he got past the gate. Did you hear what she said? She goes, "I don't know how he" She says, "I don't know how he got past the gate agent." Yeah. First thought of the flight attendants. Yeah, [laughter] you were right on. And then I was like, "All right, I'm going to go ask him to get off. Yeah. Um I got back there and there was Ariana and she So So basically, from what you two said, you got alerted before boarding. People were boarding saying, "Hey, there's a guy back there." >> You could hear screaming. And it was in the jet bridge hallway. And then he came up here. He started like It was her started with her, but then continued down the aisle. >> Yeah. And then I followed. Okay. And when you followed, what happened? I followed. I asked him to get off. He told me no. I asked him probably three or four times. And then at that point I was like, "Okay, I need help." So, I went and got help. Okay. And then And then that was basically it. Pretty much after all the people started getting involved. So, then how did he get off? The other passengers >> They pushed him. Other passengers shoved him. Yeah, no. I mean, obviously They must be blurring out one of the captains or something. I don't know. Oh, you know what it is is she's writing something on Oh, so you can't see what the cop is. Or she's looking at videos or something. Mhm. It's not like a guy just makes it worse. Yeah. So, by the time you got here, he was already getting pulled off by pa- Okay, so she's looking at a phone. Okay. >> Probably a video or something. I was there when before the whole altercation transpired. Okay. Did you see that little thing he was holding? That little The curved stick? >> Yeah. You seen them use that, the flight attendants? For they They hook the >> They Yeah, because honestly, it burns our shoulders out after, you know, your 20 30 years on the job, reaching up to yank down those And some of those ladies are tiny, you know. >> like I'm only 5'4, so for me it was a reach up and a pull down, and sometimes those bin covers are kind of sticky, so they just they go like this, and that way they don't have to extend their shoulder up over and over and over and over for years. >> This must be the gate agent cuz she's outside the plane. I had to turn it up cuz I can't hear her well. The situation [clears throat] escalated in the aisle when the man confronted another passenger. The white The white and you all are white teaming up against me. You don't care. Okay, then you don't care. You don't care. You don't care. Leading to a brief physical struggle before several people stepped in. Oh, oh, oh. And the individual was escorted off the aircraft as the flight was delayed. Good for these guys to get the guy off the plane. You don't always get helpful passengers like that. >> No. Somebody's got a complex, huh? Yeah, a little chip on his shoulder, I think. Yeah. So, how do you know him? He's my friend. Okay. Do you know what was going on with him? Do you know why he was so angry? I have no idea when we entered. Were you on the plane with him or not? I was with him. Okay. His dad was there. Is his dad a friend? I thought he said it was his friend. Oh, I thought it was his dad. I think he said it was his friend. What do you mean, friend? When we went inside someone in the back told everybody something. They talked about it. And then maybe he got into a fight. Talked about what? How can I say maybe He has awkward, dude. Maybe something related to race or something. Oh, directed toward him? Something like that he must have Or did he just hear what he wanted to hear? Yeah. Because he was already angry going down the jet bridge according to them. Well, he was acting like a lunatic. He just got into argument. Okay. And then he went inside and then again he got into argument with somebody on the same issue and then Were you with him when this happened? All all the time. Okay. He is being arrested right now for battery cuz he did strike somebody on here. Um they're taking his stuff off the plane and they're going to put it in baggage here, okay, at the airport here. So, when he gets out of jail, he can come get his stuff at the baggage office if it's open because I understand this is an international flight, is that right? >> Yeah. Okay. They asked him to leave numerous times on the flight. Oh, he ain't going anywhere, honey. Well, I'm actually maybe cuz it's international, but normally I don't think they'd even do the courtesy of taking your courtesy of taking your bags off. They're just like, "No, your bags are going to go." Yeah. >> You'll have to call and figure out how to get them back. >> worry about getting his bags off, either. And he didn't want to leave and they asked the captain um the gentleman on the jet bridge went on and asked him to leave as well. He wouldn't leave so they had to escort him off and that's when it got physical. >> Yeah. You don't have to explain to this guy He cussed so that's why I think it got worse. It's not a He's just a friend. You don't have to explain it to him, right? Well, he's going to need an explanation when he gets there why his friend isn't with him. >> [laughter] >> Where's Joe? I doubt his name is Joe. He sounds like a the caller >> They told us what his name was. It [laughter] was Suhail Suhail No. Suhail or something like that. >> Yeah. He's going to go to jail. He has to bond out of jail if he wants to get out. Um somebody has to pay money to make sure that he goes to court in the future to get him released from jail. Okay. If he doesn't So we're going to test the friendship. Does the friend stay behind and post bail or does they do they just does the friend just get on the flight and be like >> Surely they must have other friends who can I would be like I'd get on the flight and go, "Oh man, you got kicked off?" When was that? I [laughter] missed it. >> have been asleep. doesn't post bond which is what they call it then he stays in jail. That's up to you. He can post bond himself. He has a probably a wallet, cell phone with him. He can post his own bond or you can do it for him. Okay. So the flight attendant find him and he was one of them and like he was saying something something about drinking. I'd be so ticked off cuz they're going to miss whatever connecting flights. This is delaying them. >> As people who travel a lot, this is stressful for us to watch. Yeah. >> [laughter] >> I'm just thinking about like my flight, my next flight, all the stuff. We cut our schedule so thin that we can't afford to have any Yeah, we'd be in trouble. like what's going on and he continues to get increasingly aggressive so they're like, "Okay, like now now you need to get off." But she's a female and he's obviously being aggressive so she's trying her best to get him off. He's not getting off so >> get this on video? Yes. Yes. Okay. So then We need to see what happens on the flight. I I already got You're looking for the video. Well, I know also someone said that he said that he's going to make everyone into I got this statement here. That's from the cop. Yeah, so he so So it sounds like maybe there's another cop on the flight, a cop like an off-duty or something or just a Why can't these things ever happen when I'm on a flight? I thought you were supposed to help. You're supposed to let the flight attendants know. >> When you're flying armed, you're probably not supposed to help, but in situations like this, you know, then you're just a citizen. Like this guy is being aggressive and you can't wait for whoever to come get him off like and this is getting bad. So he comes and he tries to de-escalate and he goes like this. He went to the back of the guy's back and that like set the guy off and then He ran into the wrong bunch of boys, though, didn't he? Yeah, gambled [laughter] and lost on that one. I got stuns. And then Vincent's the one That's that's him. Yeah, standing straight up. The guy right here. These are These are bad news. Yeah, and he's he um He basically was the one that tried to help de-escalate and the guy like said and and the even the flight attendant said like at any point this guy was going to get set off and it just happened to be set Let me tell you what these guys will get on the flight, free drinks. Yeah. So you have a California driver's license but your address is on the is >> This is in Florida. It is in Florida. It is in Florida. But you have a California driver's license. That's right and I'm also a USA naturalized citizen. So can you tell >> And will you add that part? Will you will you add that part? What you say? >> Do you live in California or do you No, no, no, the address the address says Florida on it. We are right. We are right. Read it the right way. This guy is a turd, man. He's a jerk. I No, no, I'm saying I got hit I got hit by I got hit by one of those. I got hit by one of those. One of those. Okay. Air air guests on the airplane. I'll tell you that much. Air guests on an airplane. He got hit by one of the air guests on an airplane. I've never heard it described like that. Do you mean passenger? Want to check his socks. Want to check his feet first. It's you, Earl Olson. Let me call Gina. I don't even know. Tampa. Later, officers identified Sahil, 29. >> Patel. >> charged with disorderly intoxication, >> Mhm. battery, two counts. Investigators say the situation unfolded on board American Airlines flight 2506 as the aircraft prepared to depart for Philadelphia. Airline staff contacted law enforcement after the passenger became disruptive inside the cabin, leading to intervention by fellow passengers and crew. Officers took the individual into custody outside the aircraft and the flight was delayed while authorities handled the incident. Okay, thanks, Captain Obvious. You're like we already solved this. American Airlines stated that law enforcement was requested due to a cabin disturbance and thanked its crew for their response. Well, there you go. >> crew, the other passengers seem like they really helped out. Look, thankfully there was a bunch of men. We need more men in this world that were willing to stand up when something's not right and those men did. They took said they took them they got them down outside of the plane. Um, I know it was a delay for everybody but yeah. You can you don't want to fly No. from wherever Florida to Philly. It's not a short flight with this goober. And this guy immediately got on had a chip on his shoulder thought people were racist towards him and I mean I'm sure the guy was acting unruly and people probably were making comments cuz of the way he look at what a jerk he was to everybody else. So I'm sure somebody must have said something set him off and uh well He ain't flying No, he's not going anywhere soon. whatever his name is ain't flying anywhere. Mr. Patel. What do you think?
