If we get in there and you try to do anything with that peer do anything you're going to feel a lot of pain, okay? >> What's he doing? >> He's drinking his piss. Hold >> You're kidding. All right, everybody. Welcome back to another Friday with Janelle. >> Woop woop, I'm back. >> You're back. >> miss me? >> I did. Hopefully nobody told you we were doing them without you. >> I had an idea you were. It's okay. >> What do we have for fries today? >> So, we have Hardee's, which is >> Carl's Jr. out in the west. >> Yeah. >> This is Hardee's. And what do we got? >> Curly fries. >> Ooh, okay. >> You can't go wrong with curly fries. I've had very few bad curly fries. >> And our video today is pulled from Police Insider and it is how police stopped an airport mass shooting. You know we love doing the airport videos with Janelle. She was a flight attendant. We haven't seen it. David's been excited for us to watch it. Let's go. >> Officers quickly mobilized when two sisters walked into the police station to report that their father, whom they had just spoken to on FaceTime, was on his way to the airport to commit a mass shooting. >> Looking for this guy. >> And look at the way he just parked there. >> Can we see him? >> That is crazy. >> park there like that. It's a big red flag. >> I remember this in the media. >> Looks right. It is straight. How are you? Uh what are your what are your reasons at the airport right now? >> We want to >> Why are you at the airport? Oh. >> I'm just >> What kind of car you drive? What kind of car you drive? >> Huh? >> What kind of car do you drive? >> I got a drop top. >> You got a drop top, okay. We're just looking. We just have a situation going on. >> Oh, okay. >> Mhm. >> You're welcome. >> Yeah, it's you. >> Yeah, he does have a dog. >> Officer, you know it's the dog. Pleasure. Is your name Billy? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Is a guy named Billy? All right, you have hands. Put your hands behind your back, sir. Put your hands behind your back. >> Good work finding him. >> WOW. >> [screaming] >> WELL, THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY. >> GIVE ME MY PHONE. NO. YOU'RE scaring me. >> Just hold this one moment. >> I remember seeing the video where they were really struggling to get the cuffs on. >> Can I have that wheelchair? Can I have that wheelchair, please? >> Great job, though. Look. >> They did not mess around. >> No. >> That was awesome. >> times have we talked about put them in cuffs? >> Yeah. >> You can figure it out later. They confirmed that his name was Billy. He was acting suspicious. He had no reason for being there, no bags. He's at the airport. Great job by this female cop and the other guy. They recognized it. Boom, they went to put him in cuffs, threw him on the ground, and he cried like a little little baby. [laughter] >> Oh gosh. You will sit here in this chair. >> Can you walk me one second? >> Sit down. >> Did they do double cuffs on him? >> Oh, yeah. >> Sit down. >> I ain't done nothing wrong. What I did wrong? Standing in the airport? How y'all doing today? Y'all doing good? I went viral on TikTok. What did I do wrong? I'm standing in the airport. >> We'll let you know when we get to >> He's got problems. >> Hey, right now you're just detained. You're not under arrest. You're just detained. >> No, I mean I didn't like >> Good job by this gal. >> I ain't done nothing wrong. I'm flying somewhere today. I'm in the airport, sir. >> I'm flying somewhere today. >> No, sir, I was standing in the airport. >> The airport's not The airport's not open to the general public. >> I ain't hurt nobody. I ain't never hurt nobody. I never will hurt nobody. >> That's not what his daughter said. >> You're not under arrest. >> Well, I mean I ain't done nothing wrong. Standing in the airport? >> 3837 >> to have official business to be in the airport. You have to have a boarding pass or reason that you're flying out. >> You're not allowed to be at the airport if you're not flying anywhere and you don't work here and you don't work in here and you don't have a pass ticket to fly anywhere. >> I have nothing. I have nothing. I got my phone. >> My phone? >> Being at the airport is a crime. >> I'm not allowed to be at the airport. Being at the airport >> Yes, that's a crime. >> That's my phone. You can't take my phone. >> It's right here. Nobody Nobody needs your phone, Billy. >> You staying This is a public place. >> It's not a public place. >> Just have a seat. We'll be right with you, okay? >> So it is a public place. It's a It's a If it's paid for by public funds, if it's paid for by tax dollars, it is a public place. There are parts of the airport you can go into like we just talked about, right? >> Yeah. >> Now, some part airports are private, I guess. >> Yeah, but it's a security risk though. You can't just have You're just letting the general public in to hang out. Like >> No. >> You'd get homeless people in there. You'd get all sorts of stuff. They got to have to make the rules. >> like LA or some of these places where they just let the homeless come in and sleep there during the night. >> were housing illegals there, too. >> Yeah, they were housing illegals in airports. >> What are they going to do in front of me, boss? >> No. With Billy finally secured >> That's what he should have said. >> and searching the white Chevy truck, during the search they recovered vital evidence that made them realize they had stopped a tragedy before it happened. But little did they know things were about to get even worse. >> Sir. >> Yes. >> Take your baby down there and wait. That truck we got an emergency situation with that truck. Go down there. >> Okay, sir. >> Billy, stay away from down here. >> I was wondering what they did with all the vehicles. What you're doing is you're clearing it because you got to make sure there's no explosives in the vehicle. >> They don't want an Oklahoma City situation. >> want a bomb going off. And the way he parked it is pretty sus. >> [clears throat] >> That's what the kids use for suspect. >> really say that anymore. >> They don't? >> No. I think that was last year. >> Last year the kids were seriously in the word sus for suspect. >> can't you can't just park your car and run in real quick at the drop on drop off pick up place because of this very situation. Like you cannot park your car. That's why they have the attendance out there watching everybody. It's a security thing. >> It is. >> Yeah. >> And you can't just park your car while you're waiting either. >> [laughter] >> You're not supposed to park your car while you're waiting. >> I am the uh >> We do a lot of pick up and drop >> my dream job would be the guy that makes everybody move when they're parked there. >> It's very satisfying when someone is moving and they're being made to move. >> We have a bubble machine in the background that just went off arbitrarily. >> Yeah, this is the truck. He's got a dog in there. He'll look bad but I mean you know >> Okay, so he's got a dog in there. >> Couldn't have fooled me thought about doing anything. If he did if he was capable of doing anything he wanted to run >> or something. You want to take off. >> He had to take a chance. >> Out of all the people that I could have walked into I was like she's right here. >> There's a mag right here. >> Oh, so now we're in the truck. >> There's some rounds. >> Nice little flatbed. So there's your rounds. >> So then what's going on? Is that you? Is he going to have a hard breathing? >> You need some water? >> No. >> Okay, this is some water. We're going to get you checked out, okay? We'll get EMS here to make sure you're okay. >> Please, I ain't going to do nothing wrong. >> He's he's complaining of he had a trouble breathing. >> You trying to make a lot of people not be able to breathe. Here's some water, okay? >> They're trying to kill me. >> Nobody's trying to kill you, baby. >> We had uh where he's he's made accusations of coming here trying to harm people at the airport. >> I wasn't harming nobody at the airport. >> I was running cuz my life. >> You're running for your life? >> Yes. >> Running from who? >> Who? >> Running from who? >> The police trying to kill me. >> Who is that? >> I was coming to a safe place. >> I don't think so. >> No. He's had some time to sit in there and get his story together. >> Yeah. >> Everything good? >> Yeah, yeah. >> He was standing there talking to us. Then once he knew he was getting detained, that's when he started yeah. He got all his money on him. He's normal. Always got his money. >> He's he's surely tripping. >> He was tripping. >> She ate some fries. >> What's up, bro? >> She looks like she was eating some fries. >> They got him. They got him inside. They got the driver. That was him. Yeah, you did a good job. You did a good job. You initially saw him. He said that truck was out here at 9:30. >> Truck was out here at 9:30? >> Yeah, I wrote the ticket at 9:36. I just seen nobody was in there, so I I looked for a >> This is why. >> Yeah. >> Coming out, I didn't know he was In another life, I'm going to take that. I'm on that man's job. >> He wants to be like the hall monitor. Tell people move along. You can't park here. >> [laughter] >> Thanks. I called and I called it in cuz they had no permission to park, so I was This guy was ready. >> Looks like he was getting ready to go out on a blaze of glory is what it looks like. >> magazine and that last one over there makes 27. >> AR pistol? >> AR. >> Which there is nothing illegal about having an AR rifle. When it's a problem is when your daughters come to the police station and say my dad is planning on going to the the and shooting it up. That's a problem. >> That's a problem. >> Which was the rightful Springfield? >> I think they recognized this guy at the She got an award or a medal or something. >> Well, she should. >> Like the way he was standing it was like he was like scanning the scene. >> He went in there to case the joint see how many people he could mow down. That's what he was doing. He was in there to see how much damage can I do in here. >> And a lot of times you go in to see what's the law enforcement presence like in there to see if you're going to get if some if something's going to happen if you go in there. >> Could have really just went back and blew >> He could have done something. >> That would have been bad. >> Billy, you okay? Huh? What seems to be the problem? Your arms are numb? Both of them? >> 27 25 radio. [clears throat] I know we had them EMS already out here. Can you have them re come over here? >> Billy's playing a game, I think. >> And he's still having trouble breathing. Yeah, EMS coming back out. >> Billy's full of crap. >> Billy's not a model of health. >> The EMTs arrived shortly after and concluded that Billy's vitals were normal along with his oxygen levels and blood pressure. As the investigation progressed, officers found three empty shell casings in different locations, two inside the truck and one in Billy's pocket. A new group of officers came on duty to handle Billy's transfer and that's when things started to get even stranger. >> And more strange than this? >> What's going on, Billy? A sample of what? You put You put urine in there? What are you talking about? Sample of what? That is not water, sir. Put it down in the corner, will you? Put the bottle down, sir. Sir. Put it down. Put the bottle down on the shelf cuz I got the taser out and tase you. You ain't going to like it. >> Now, we ready to move. >> Put the bottle on the back. >> No. >> Okay, so we're going >> Put the bottle >> No. >> So, they gave him a of water. Trying to be cool. Even though his vitals and everything said he was normal, he was pretending that he wasn't doing well. And he took a leak in the bottle, urinated in the bottle, and now he's got a bottle full of urine, which if we have to if they have to go in and get him, now they have to They can >> to throw it on them. >> Yeah. >> 100% >> Okay, if we get in there and you try to do anything with that pee or do anything you're going to feel a lot of pain, okay? >> [laughter] >> This freaking piss. Hold on. >> You're kidding. Gross. >> What? >> Drinking it? >> Okay. What is this going on? >> Can we just get this >> He's drinking his piss. >> Yeah, for his health. He's healthy. Come on, leave him alone. >> All right. >> Okay, it's fine. It's fine. It's fine. >> Is that what she said? >> She just said it's fine. It's healthy. Leave him alone. >> [laughter] >> It's organic. >> What's a little bacteria? >> He's only hurting himself anyway. >> Exactly. Like let him drink it. I mean >> She's like, "That. It's all right." >> Here's the thing. Let him drink it then he can't throw it on him. >> Yeah. >> He'll have to pee again. >> It's disgusting, man. It's disgusting. >> Stop it. He's not dehydrated. We're not going to agitate him. We're not going to Let him do what he's doing. >> Listen, she's honestly right. >> She's right. >> Let's not agitate him. He wants to drink his piss, let him do it. >> wants the attention. He wants the attention, so he's doing outlandish, crazy things to get attention. And it's also going to contribute to his insanity plea later. >> we have seen how many times? That dadgum insanity plea gets these people off a lot of times. >> I'm going to come in, okay? You stay like that. Hey, do me a favor. Hey, spread your arms for me, all right? >> Stay right there. >> I'm not doing nothing, man. >> Be cool. >> I mean, this is wrong, man. >> hand. >> I can get this off of >> Y'all know it's wrong, man. >> Thank you so much for your cooperation, sir. We really appreciate it. >> Man, I mean, I'm innocent. >> Let's get him. >> He's innocent, honey. >> I know. Please, man. Put your >> Come on, my man. >> Yes, sir. >> I'm going to put my hands in front >> Sir, we cannot do that. Come on, let's go. >> I don't want to hurt y'all, man. >> Now, many of you may be watching this and saying, "Well, he didn't do anything. And now, what are you going to charge him with?" Well, what you can do is it's hard to do conspiracy because conspiracy requires two or more people. Um but you can make a case you're going to at least do some mental health evaluation on him. Um his parking and the the firearm at the at the I'm not sure what Georgia's laws are, but there may be some other laws having a firearm at the airport. So, there are some federal laws that they may be able to do. So, this is where you got to be really know your your codes and your >> Okay, but if his daughters are willing to testify against him, which I'm guessing they would be to get him help he needs that they could make a case with that. Cuz they could >> But you still can't make a conspiracy cuz a conspiracy requires But there there was premeditation for a crime. >> to, you know >> But he didn't actually commit the crime. Conspiracy is part of committing the crime, even though you don't actually go through with the bank robbery or or whatever. When you conspire with other people, that's part of the crime, which is how you bring down a lot of gangs and >> Okay, what about this though? What if he was online in some forum or chat room or something talking with other people about doing it and they were giving him tips and you can do that. >> You still have to prove that there was multiple people involved planning this. That they conspired to commit a crime. So, him talking to other people and them giving them, you know, saying, "Yeah, you should." Doesn't necessarily They weren't part of the planning. They weren't part of the the the crime, the conspiracy to commit the crime. So >> but >> [snorts] >> But they'll say I mean, look, they're going to They're going to do what they can to get him. >> I'm just glad that they stopped him. I mean, really. I I it all That's really the win here. Not that he goes to prison for 10 years or whatever. It's just that he was stopped. And maybe he really is having a mental breakdown and they can get him some help and they can >> You're exactly right. The win is they stopped him. The charging whatever we'll figure that piece out of it. How many times have I said, "Put handcuffs on him and you can sort it out later." >> I'm not convinced the story's over yet. I think we've got a like a >> [laughter] >> few more minutes to watch and it could be getting crazier, right? >> We've got at least another uh I think we've got another five or six minutes. >> Turn your Turn your butt in the other direction. >> [laughter] >> Wait. That's like putting a big bull in a That's like putting a big bull in a trailer. >> He's so faking. Are we EMSing again? >> He's good to go. He's good to go. >> Come on, guys. >> Several times. >> I know it's an abundance of caution. He can never say they didn't help him, but come on. >> Three times they had to get him checked. He's in. Hey, you all right, man? No, he's been doing that all the time. Hey, man. >> Is he throwing up now? What is he doing? >> That's the urine. Has he been doing that all the time? Did anything happen? He's trying to make it Can you pull over so we No. He's going to try We've got to get him to This guy is choking himself. Oh my gosh, this guy. >> How is he choking himself? I don't understand. He's cuffed, right? >> [screaming] >> What? All right, I'm going to get this guy choking. He is choking on his urine. That's what You got to throw out Throw it out of here. He swallowed his urine. He's apparently >> [laughter] >> Well, it's making me want to vomit. >> It's making me It's It's making me gag now. Oh, gross. Oh, gross. [laughter] It's making me gag. >> Maybe this wasn't a good one to eat from. Was it right? >> Oh, gross. I don't like pee, that's why. >> What's up, man? What's up? I'm with the fire department. You all right? >> Again, fourth time. >> You got it in your system. That what you said? >> 790 Raider. >> No, he's got urine in his system. >> What doesn't make you vomit? So, what's going on? Why are we here? >> He ain't joking. >> The pee's going to make him vomit because it tastes like >> [laughter] >> I said it tastes like pee. >> Yeah, pee doesn't taste like >> You know, the the salt, I guess. So, let you guys check him. >> Then you know there's bacteria in urine. That's what's going to make him sick. >> Uh we won't know. >> What makes him sick is the thought of drinking your own piss. That's what makes you sick. >> there and realized what he did. >> the bench. >> Okay. >> I mean, how dramatic do you have to be? >> No, no, we haven't seen chunks in the cell or anything. It's just a >> Gross. >> of urine probably had an effect on him. He look like he He look like he's better right now. You can go ahead now. >> Word to the wise, don't drink your own pee. >> Stimulate something. Two or three days ago. Yeah, we could we could write him >> So, he ate the vomit himself. >> Especially don't drink your pee on an empty stomach. Apparently, it makes you sick. >> Well, could be. >> Or he could be acting. >> Please don't let that >> Okay, stop. He's not He's not >> He's not? >> He's not throwing up. He's just trying. >> I mean, I get it. When you're the cops, you hate people throwing up in your cruiser. I get it. >> But honestly, at this point >> Just get him >> oh man. >> Okay. Dayton? >> Yeah, you got to sit up. You got to sit up. >> Dayton's in trouble. >> I know. It's gross, man. Just keep going, >> Just get him run code, get him there as quick as you can. Boot him out. Okay. >> This is disgusting. >> Okay, I can't even imagine what drama's going to happen now. >> You got a headache, I'm sure. >> Billy was booked into jail and interviewed by >> Finally. >> Snell, where he explained that he had liver cirrhosis and had previously attempted died, but was revived. It was later discovered that Billy was a convicted felon with a prior arrest for >> There's your charge. See, you put him in handcuffs. Now you can fill them. He was convicted felon, had a charge for you know what possession, I guess what. Can we not say that on the videos cuz we say it all the time, but he had a drug possession that charged. They were familiar with him and according to a federal complaint, he was convicted in 2000 for felony possession of marijuana, went to prison for 2 years, and he has mental health challenges. Yeah, thanks. >> believed he was experiencing a mental episode and that he had been live streaming on social media before heading to the airport. Federal prosecutors charged Billy with attempted violence at an international airport, interstate communication >> That's a rough looking 49. I thought he was older than I thought he was way older than me. Attempted violence at an international airport, interstate communication containing C. This is where you catch him is on these federal charges and being in possession >> play. I mean, you cannot mess around. They will stack it up. >> and being a felon in possession of a firearm. At the local level, he was charged with making terrorist threats, >> There you go. >> criminal attempt to commit aggravated assault, >> [music] >> possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a felon. >> They slapped him on the federal side and on the This guy's going to be in prison for a while. >> Billy was denied bond and remains in federal custody. >> Okay, so just so to explain federal versus state. And a lot of states are trying to move this way, which I hate, which is no bond. It's not a good situation because if there's two types of ways you can have a bond where the judge decides, "Okay, I'm going to give you a bond of 10,000, 250,000, a million-dollar bond." Depends on the severity of your crime. If you post that bond, you can go free. The federal system works different. The federal system is if you the judge has only two options, release you or go no bond or no bond and hold you. There is no bonding on the federal level. So, the judge can release you till your trial date or you can be held until your trial date. So, there was no bond on a federal level. Um there never is a bond on a federal level. Either you're released or you're not. This is a pretty public case, so I'm guessing that we're going to end up hearing more about this, but these are the parts that I never saw. I never saw him try to throw up in the backseat, drinking his own urine. It's disgusting. Disgusting. That'll all He'll use all that in court to play towards the mental health. But, he's got some serious charges though. He's got a felon in possession federally and state. He's got making terroristic threats. He's got a whole bunch of a slew of things. He's going to go to prison for a while. >> what? And I can't imagine how hard it would be for his kids, his daughters, to have made that call. I'm kudos to them for taking action cuz they probably potentially saved a lot of lives. >> They did. Cuz this guy, the way he was acting, he was hell-bent on doing something stupid. >> Great move by his daughters. And that And honestly, that is what more people need is people watching out for them. You know, there's a lot of mental health crisis in this country. And if their family members are not watching out, that's when bad things happen. So, having the courage to go and do what they did I just I mean, yeah, maybe it would turn out to be nothing. Maybe he wouldn't really go down there, but they didn't take that chance and they reported it and that was the right thing to do. >> It was absolutely the right thing to do. I have no doubt saved some lives. >> Yeah. >> It was a handful to deal with after. Four times they had him down, stopped, and checked and each time he was fine, so clearly he was playing a game. And then of course Hardee's with the for the win for the curly fries, really good. Um I don't know where the line is that way turns from Carl's Jr. to Hardee's, but >> Maybe. Maybe it's the Mississippi River. I don't know. Everything. Dayton says that Carl Hardee had a falling out with his son, Carl Jr. Carl Jr. has those and Carl Hardee has Hardee's. >> It's a It's a local legend. It's a legend. >> it's a legend. Yeah. Somebody's going to get on here and BE LIKE, "THAT'S NOT THE CASE. THAT'S NOT TRUE." >> [laughter] >> All right, everybody. Let us know what you think. I kept it together. I I I don't Most things don't make me gag. Throw up makes me gag. >> Imagine how much help he was with all the children over the years. Guess who was the throw up duty. >> Have you ever seen Four Christmases with Vince Vaughn where the baby throws up on him and then the guy she goes to clean up the baby and he's like, "Don't He doesn't care. Get [laughter] it off of me." and he's gagging. It's one of the funniest parts of a movie. I laugh every time. So All right, everybody. Comment, like, subscribe. Let us know what you think. How did they handle this? And well done by the police to to stop this. And no doubt they saved some lives and great job by them. So let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. We'll catch you on the next video and it's been great having Janelle back as well. >> Yeah.
