What I'm going to do right now is we are going to start recording this >> I'm recording you too, so that's fine. And let's And let's get off the plane so you don't upset the rest of the airplane. >> I've already upset the rest of the airplane. >> yes. So, let's just get out. >> All right, everybody, welcome back to another Friday with >> Janelle. >> Yes, indeed. >> me back. I appreciate it. >> All right, what do we got for french fries today? >> Okay, we've got Jack in the Box. We've got the loaded wedges, but we have the hot mess sauced loaded wedges and the regular sauced and loaded wedges. >> old Jack in the Box. If you don't have them, they're open all night. And for a video, we got this video from NY Detective. And I like doing the airplane ones, the airport ones with Janelle because she used to be a flight attendant. Entitled Karen forces her way onto the plane after being denied boarding. Let's go. >> 2024. Tampa Airport Police responded to a disturbance after a woman forced her way onto a plane despite being denied boarding. >> to board and I just observed her because obviously she's drunk and I said I just watched her and said and then she ran up the jet bridge to go get her bag because she left her bag at Gasperola. Then I was going to have a conversation with her and I know she'd been drinking blah blah blah. Well, I told her she wasn't going to board until we had a conversation. She ran down the jet bridge and kept going after I told her repeatedly to come back up here and continue. Now she refuses to get off the aircraft. So, we're moving her off the aircraft but she will not come off the aircraft. >> Oh my god. >> So, that is what you're walking into. >> I guess we have >> [laughter] >> And she's like, "Good luck with that." >> All right, well, we got a supervisor on the way. >> Yeah, we just can't go on the plane. >> She came off and went back on after we informed her she could not get on the aircraft, so. >> All right. Um, like I said, our supervisor's coming, so he's got to be the one to go on and like kind of get her to come off. So, was there any any any any interference? >> She got in the face of the captain and the first officer. Um, we're going to have to go in the front of the plane. Captain, >> Why do people think they can behave like this and that they're not going to get kicked off the plane. I mean, I would I would be on my best behavior. I always am. I fly a ton. I would never think about acting like this. I don't drink alcohol, so >> responsible, right? Was just >> Am I in any way >> I don't believe so. >> Ma'am, I understand that she had a Hold on a second. Yeah. Um so >> We have already been informed. Can you tell her, please, to get her to go? >> No, I've already told her that she ran back on the airplane. >> Well, police are here to remove her. >> I know, but here's why if you could kindly If one of you She's sitting right in first class. If one of you could kindly go behind and yell and then the other one ask her to come off. >> We cannot go in the plane. Only supervisor. >> Sorry, our supervisor is coming. >> Okay. >> That's a weird rule that they can't go on the plane without their supervisor. That's an agency thing. I wonder where they're at. >> So, you can't, but your supervisor can? >> Correct. >> Okay. All right. Yeah. >> The supervisor arrived a few minutes later. >> Find her. She's the second seat in the green in the >> What's her name? >> It's Mindy. >> Mindy? >> What's her last name? >> Lauren Nash. >> Okay. >> Okay. I'm going to stand behind her in the aisle, and then you can talk. >> All right. >> How about she just chill and >> Pardon me, miss. Can you just come off the plane with me? Um >> I would like you to explain to me the reason why. >> I'll explain it out there, but but we can't >> No. Uh uh. >> Miss, this is what's going to happen. Everybody's >> I've dealt with these people before. >> And then we're going to have to take >> Look at her face. >> This is almost worse, this passive-aggressive >> I hate it. >> calm tone thing. I've dealt with this a lot as a flight attendant. I hate it. >> Look at her face. >> I hate it. >> you against your will, and we don't want to do that, cuz you're going to upset all these other passengers. >> No, here's the thing is I'm not really worried about the other passengers, but >> Okay. >> We can clearly see you're not worried about the other passengers. >> causing me anxiety, a lot of anxiety. >> It's trauma It's >> It's traumatizing. >> re- re-victimizing you. >> Yes, it is. Yes, it is. >> Okay. >> And my rights are that you are to explain to me what it is that is going on. I've done nothing wrong. >> Okay, so let me explain it to you. >> but you are going to listen to me first. >> I'm going to explain it to you. >> And and you can after I'm done. Okay? So, I'm very well aware of my rights. I'm very well educated. Clearly, I'm sitting here. >> But you're also very drunk. >> And you're also you have no right to fly. That's a privilege. >> a It's not a There's nothing in the Constitution says you can be on a plane and act however you want. >> I paid for this seat >> Uh-huh. >> 2 weeks ago. >> Okay. >> I have done absolutely nothing wrong. There is something wrong with people that work for this airline that are outside >> Right. >> which have made the complaint against me. I've done nothing wrong. So, if you guys want to tell me what it is that I did wrong, then maybe I will cooperate. >> Well, well, the the the captain of the airplane >> captain of the airplane is right there. >> I'm going to save some of this for Lotus. It's really good, though. >> And we had a very clear conversation. He does not believe that this should be happening. >> Well, he's he's there and we're here. >> he's right here and he told me to my eyes, he said this is out of his control. >> Right. So, that's why we come in. >> Please. Please come talk to me. No, but you did. I am first class, miss. >> Okay. All right. The other passengers >> Miss, there's something going on. You exhibited Miss Nash. You exhibited some some behavior that's not conducive to that. >> Am I exhibiting that to you? >> There's You You've either ingested or taken something that's getting in the front of your judgment. That's all I'm saying. So, we're going to have everybody come out and then we're going to have to take you out. >> I'm Can you >> Don't have everybody come off. Have first class come off. I really don't like it when they have everybody come off. I just think it's kind of unnecessary. Um, close the curtain. >> row. Here's the thing. Get unbuckle her. Get her up. Someone be behind her ready to grab her arms cuz she's going to fight. >> Yep. >> And just haul her off. She's right by the door. It's not like she's in the back of the plane. >> She probably weighs, I don't know, buck 40. I don't know. >> Yeah. Just grab her. >> No. >> No, we don't care about your bag. >> Are you refusing to come off? >> No, I'm not leaving here without my bag. >> Well, grab your bag and we'll take it we'll take it with >> You can do that. >> do it cuz that's your bag. That's your bag. So, you do it. >> so of course >> Are you saying he's really this sick? Are you >> Are Are you wanting to get your bag? >> conversation. >> Right. And it's beyond his control. >> No, listen to him. >> She's losing it. She's losing it, Janelle. >> Yeah, she's the tears are forming. >> No, he's not. Just grab your bag and At this point, it's best to get off. It's going to be emotionally upsetting, whatever. It's best to get off because at this point you could probably salvage your ability to fly on American Airlines or whatever airlines you're on, or fly period. But the longer you push this, the worse this is going to get. >> I haven't done anything wrong. >> Well, you've exhibited some kind of behavior and that's And once again, folks, you don't have to do anything wrong. If the airline decides they don't want you on the plane, they don't you're not going to be on the plane. >> concerned. >> No, what we're going to do right now is let's grab your bag. >> What we're going to do right now is we are going to start recording this. >> I'm recording you, too. So, that's fine. I have no problem going on YouTube. But grab your bag and let's and let's get off the plane so you don't upset the rest of the airplane. >> I've already upset the rest of the plane. >> Yes. So, let's just get out, get your bag, and we'll leave. >> Here's the deal, sir. >> Uh-huh. >> Uh, I'm just going to have first class and it out. >> Okay. All right. >> You know what? You know what I don't like? You know what I don't like? I don't like >> Um, let's see if first class is okay. >> Oh, cuz they're making everyone get off. That's why he was up there. >> Look at this. You don't have to go to work. >> Is this your green one? >> There we go. All right. >> Don't you guys have more important things to do? >> We do. >> We do, and that's why we're upset. >> [laughter] >> That's why we're here. We think you're so ridiculous. >> This is one of the important ones. >> No, it's not. >> It is. >> No, it's really not. It's You know what it is, and then we're paying you what it is. >> All right, grab your bag, and we can talk while you're walking. >> No. >> You're telling me what to do. It doesn't work that way. Miss Nash, it doesn't work that way. >> Listen, listen, Miss Nash. >> Grab your bag, and let's go. >> to happen. >> What's going to happen is in about 5 seconds you're going to hand get in hand cuffs. >> What are you going to do? >> We're going to arrest you for disorderly conduct. How's that? >> Oh, she did a little body check on him. >> Sorry, guys. Uh, we are Ma'am, continue up. >> Just give me a second with you. >> No. >> Go and go up. >> Please go up. Just give me a >> Go up. >> Come on. Let's go. Let's go. >> Come on. Come on. >> I am sorry. >> Sorry, folks. Apologize. We need one more. >> It's really simple. All you have to do is just behave like a decent person, a normal person. >> Do what most drunk people do. Get in your seat, and then fall asleep. Give me a Give me a second. >> Some of the most people who are too intoxicated apply to >> like this gets out of hand because >> Please give me a second. >> Upstairs, we get a second. We're going to walk. >> I'M NOT ON >> 10-15 That's it. There we go. 10-15 >> You should have done that like 5 minutes ago as soon as she stepped up from her seat, but We're here now. >> Now, she's getting arrested. >> Control [laughter] 146 shows 10-15. >> 10-15, 10-15 is arrest. >> Subject 10-15 >> Are you kidding me? >> We're going to walk through this way. >> Don't hurt me. >> What do you think about people that are getting in trouble when they cry? >> I don't like it. >> help? >> Janelle asked that question because she knows I do not like crying. If you cried on a traffic stop or any of that stuff >> going to help you. It might make it worse for you. >> it worse for you. Yeah. Was not a fan of it. >> STOP. STOP. I WILL WALK. >> You're going to get another charge. >> No, no. You're free. >> Just walk. We're not hurting you. Walk. You won't get hurt. Simple. Don't push away. >> I'm not resisting. You hurt me. >> It's not the police that are embarrassing her. The last thing we wanted to do was come and grab somebody off of a flight. >> Can you imagine thinking that you could just be told you can't board and then push past the gate agent and the ticket counter and run onto the plane through the jet bridge? >> Well, you she's a new >> Well, she made it, so she's all right. Let her stay. >> She's like, um yes. >> Excuse me, what? >> I'm going to tell you what's going on. >> Are you This is you. >> Yeah, it is because of her. So, >> She was watching out for all the other passengers. >> Where we at here? Nashville? No, uh >> Are you seizing my purse? >> Your other purse? Cuz I've seen this airport before. >> Uh-huh. Well, we've seen every airport at this point in our lives. >> [laughter] >> Every airport looks the same. >> I'm okay. The girl with the red hair, it's not okay. >> [laughter] >> You don't look >> Look, I feel bad when somebody gets kicked off the flight, but >> I don't. >> have been easily remedied. Cuz I just don't like the police are the last thing they want to do is this. >> Here's the thing is I can walk, but you don't have to push me. >> We're not pushing you. >> You are. Can you just walk on your own level? I'm not a criminal. Why are you kidding me? Can you please just let me go? >> have to hold you because you're being >> going I'm not going to run. Just let me just >> It's too late for that. >> You're crazy. >> Okay. >> I'm not a >> [laughter] >> I don't think she's a criminal, either. The alcohol got the best of her. >> Listen, you cannot screw around at the airport. >> This is not right. >> I arrested a lot of people that were not criminals. But they broke the law. In this particular case, they wanted her removed from the flight. She refused. She was being disorderly, and >> Here's the thing. When you have a person who's acting out of sorts before the flight takes off, you've got to nip it in the bud immediately, because if you let them go, you think they're going to be less of a problem in the air, you're very wrong. >> Yeah. >> They will be more of a problem in the air every time. >> She's right. >> Every time. Then you don't have the cops to come get them. You're stuck with them. >> Well, you don't put us in a situation where we got to come in and clean up the mess. >> Listen, can you do me a favor? I will walk wherever you guys want me, but just let me walk to my home. >> You can. All you got to do is walk. >> I am, but you don't have to hold me. >> We have We have to hold you. >> No, you do not. >> I'm not pushing Let me tell you why they have to hold her because if she were to fall and crack her face cuz she's in handcuffs, then we would get sued because they would say, "Why were you not holding her?" Cuz she can't brace her fall. So, the reason why we are holding her is to maintain control. One, so she doesn't run off. Number two, so that she doesn't hurt herself >> didn't think of that. >> and we don't get sued. >> That's a really good point. >> Yeah. That's why. >> No, you do not. You do not have to push me. You do not have to hold me. I'm not Are you kidding me? Is this fluffy? >> Now you know you just walk through those doors. It's all good. >> [laughter] >> Wait for a second. >> Put your phone >> No, I I can't walk. >> Uh okay. All right. Stop. Stop. >> Let's go. >> Stop. I'M GOING >> LET'S GO. GO. >> WHAT'S YOUR NAME? >> WE'RE IN THE AMBER PHASE NOW. >> YEAH. >> Please just have them let me go. I just want them to let me go. >> I'm Lieutenant Porter. I'm Lieutenant Porter. Listen to me. I'm their supervisor. Listen to me. >> Okay. >> I have to pat you down. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, he's going to study you >> Okay. >> because you're handcuffed. >> I understand. >> Okay. So, give me Is there anything on you that is >> She doesn't have any pockets. >> Are you kidding me? >> Okay. So, just stay calm. >> Doubt she's hiding anything in her pants. >> Pocket. Prison pocket. >> She's good. All right. Come on. >> Thank goodness they had a female there. >> Ma'am, go ahead and go ahead and hop in. >> I can't. >> My guess is what's going to happen is she will probably get cited and released for disorderly conduct. They're probably not going to book her into jail, but I could be wrong. >> I'm holding you so you don't fall. Put your left foot in first. Good. Good. >> Does this make you guys get off? Like, what the Hey, what do you mean? Do I do something that you can't even look at me in the face? How do you know it's wrong? >> Yeah. Uh the crying doesn't work for me. >> wrist. >> [laughter] >> Is that the mascara running down your face? >> Why does the airline have the capacity to have a conversation with people when they they're just stuck cuz they have to sit there and work every day. They don't understand that other people work harder and they work differently for money. It's so >> Interesting. Interesting kind of statement. >> What are you guys going to do? You're going to take me downtown? Take me to all the people that are actually criminals? You're going to throw me in a cell? And make it like give me a I said, "Are you kidding me?" You know you don't like to go home at night, do you? I know that. This is so [ __ ] up. I voted for you. I voted for Trump. I voted for you. It's so [ __ ] >> I mean, I can tell she's >> I didn't do anything wrong. Except for speaking up for myself, and he only spoke up for myself, or myself, or anything. He didn't speak up for himself or anybody else or anything wrong. And this black woman at the beginning of the airline did not like me, and she did not like that I was first class. She did not like that I was up front, and she wanted to slander me. She wanted to say all these things about me is up, and she should be fired. And American Airlines should be sued for the way I'm being treated. It's so up. >> Unfortunately, I don't think that's going to happen. >> I need you to bring me somewhere else than where you bring everyone else, because I do not belong where it is that you think that I belong. Period. If you do not bring me with air, I will sue the out of you and your department. Period. Thank you. I want to be comfortable. I'm not a criminal. Period. You bring me anywhere else, I will you and your department over. >> Seems like a real peach. >> Don't think you will. What is your badge number? >> 146 >> 146, and you, sir? >> 111 >> People would ask me my name on the flights, too, and my eyes as a flight attendant, they didn't like something. I'm like, "What's your name and badge number?" I'd be like, "This is what it is. I hope I really hope you do, because I'll probably get a shout-out." Well, at least they'd ask me, they'd be like, "Lam, what's your badge number?" I'd go, "You don't need my badge number. You know my name." >> 11. So, 146 and 111. Bring me where I belong, or I will you over and your family. Do you understand? 146 111 Oh my gosh, are you at the jail yet? >> We're almost there, ma'am. >> Like, are you guys happy with what you've done? Are you happy with where you're at? Like, is this what you signed up for? Are you kidding me? >> You're clearly in the wrong. >> Yeah, I am clearly upset. And your wife at home would do the same thing, sir. >> She wouldn't. >> I've traveled with my wife a lot of times and that's a negative. >> I'm not stupid. >> All right. >> I'm upset. I would have already been home. >> I was also saying >> Come on. >> No, I want somebody that did not drive me here to ask me to get out of the car and I would be okay with that. Let them be known. >> Well, he didn't drive >> I don't care who this >> I told him not to anyway. I was in this vehicle on the way here. Do you understand what I'm requesting? >> Come on, Lauren. >> She's the one in cuffs going now, "Do you understand? This is what I want." [laughter] She didn't hear the irony about that. >> with somebody that did not drive >> He's right here. He's right here. >> I want him to come here >> He's right here. Look. >> to come back and be equal. >> He's right here. >> Come on, man. Let's go, ma'am. So we can get >> Why are they even talking? >> I don't know. >> her in and process her. >> There we go. >> to do it by herself. >> Okay, so Florida. Maybe Orlando. >> No, it was I saw the it was Tampa. >> Just follow him in there. >> Thank you. What is your name, sir? >> I'm Deputy Fair. >> Thanks, buddy. >> You follow him, okay? >> No, listen. You do not HAVE TO LISTEN. STOP. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LISTEN. STOP IT. >> GO ON. >> YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LISTEN. YOU ARE WRONG. YOU ARE BEING SO GENTLE. >> WE DO. WE DO have to maintain control taking control of them. >> Would you tell him not to grab me LIKE THAT? YOU ARE BEING SO GENTLE. TELL HIM NOT TO GRAB ME LIKE THAT. HE'S SO >> STAND OVER HERE. >> STOP. STOP. >> STOP. >> YOU STOP. >> YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LISTEN. YOU DO NOT HAVE >> HEY. >> THANK YOU. >> RELAX. You're not going to come here alone. >> You just want >> She was charged with disorderly intoxication. >> Disorderly intoxication, all that for disorderly intoxication. >> she wasted, the flight she delayed. >> they were nice enough to give her disorderly intoxication. Folks, that's just a It's a misdemeanor. It's going to probably get um pled out to I don't know, community service or something, anger management, something like that. >> A A A >> um yeah. Look, just because you get arrested does not make you a criminal, and I used to tell people this all the time. We arrest a lot of good people that made mistakes, that were drunk, and they did something stupid, and and unfortunately, they broke the law, and you had to take them to jail. But she's right. She's not a criminal. A lot of people in the jail aren't criminals. They're people that make mistakes, and then there are criminals. There are people that are just monsters, too. And unfortunately, they're in the jail, too. So look, she really I I've said it in how many times? She drove this to this point. >> Yeah. >> All she had to do is get up and say, "I'm sorry. I get it. I'll book another flight when I'm sober." >> And she would have been able to. Now, that may be in jeopardy. >> Dan, will you let the dog in? That's it. I mean, folks, you got to comment, like, subscribe. Come here. Come here. Can you see Lotus there? >> She's She's got something in her hair. >> Yeah. Make sure you comment, like, subscribe. Lotus is enjoying some some french fries. >> Oh my gosh. That's [laughter] kind of disgusting, actually. >> folks. We'll catch you on the next uh true crime video on the next Friday with Janelle. >> Bye-bye. >> We hope to get Frank back soon.
