What's your name? Alejandro? >> All right, everybody. Welcome back. We got another great video for you from Midwest Safety, probably the best in the business. And this one is McDonald's calls cops on FBI's most wanted suspect. Just came out recently. Let's check it out. >> for my gun. He's got my gun. >> Hello, sir. Hello. Hi, we got called here to talk to you. Huh? Some people were worried about you. They wanted to make sure you're okay. >> That I'm okay. I'm a paying customer. >> Yeah. Yeah, people are just called worried. >> Okay, well, paying customer. McDonald's owns the store. So, whether you're a paying customer or not, you know, ultimately they make this is the decision who gets to stay in there or who doesn't. So, clearly this call precipitated. I haven't seen it, but McDonald's must have called them and said, "Hey, look, he's all set up shop here." So, he's probably been there for a bit. >> I was sitting down. >> No, I think they saw saw your stuff and were worried making sure you're okay. >> I'm fine. >> Okay. What's your name? >> Why do you need my name? >> I'm just asking. >> I'm all right. Thank you. >> Okay. Are you from Rice Lake? >> Don't worry about it. You can leave. >> Oh. Okay, so, while he has the right to say that, you know, obviously they're investigating potential they don't know if there's crime. So, he has the right to say, "No, I'm not going to give you my name." But, that's not going to make the cops want to go away very easily, either. They're going to probably dig in and make this a little bit tougher on you, too. >> [snorts] >> What are you doing here? >> Huh? >> What are you doing here? >> What are you doing? >> Just checking some stuff out. >> You a friend of mine? >> Yeah. Standing right here checking some stuff out. >> You're kind of disturbing my peace. >> Okay. >> [snorts] >> Is your name Alejandro? >> [laughter] >> Are you trying to ask me if I'm wanted? Are you >> So, clearly this is not the first time this guy's had a run-in with police. He knows how to to He doesn't look very nervous. And he's not He's not engaging very very much. So, this is not his first time. >> Confirming that I'm wanted? >> I guess so. >> So, this is your public service? When I told you that I'm a paying customer? >> Yeah. Are you Alejandro? >> Don't worry about it. >> Okay. Well, that's what we're here to figure out. >> So, this screens that I'm wanted? >> No. I guess it wouldn't be it the homelessness or that you have a lot of gear. >> So, you're implying So, what are you implying? Like, really like is is it the fact that I'm homeless? >> That your description matches someone that's wanted. No, not that I want you to leave town. >> Why would you say that, man? You're already disturbing my peace. >> Okay. >> So, get out of here. >> Okay. You got any ID on you? >> For? >> So, I can see who you are. And if you're not the person we're looking for, then we'll get out of here. >> At this point, you're going to have to send another cruiser so that way they can confirm my identity because the way you that you're treating me, I don't want to go. >> Oh, jeez. He's not treating him bad. >> Confirm my identity with you? >> Okay. >> Because see, I'm I already told you I'm a paying customer. So, like, why are you coming to me disturbing the peace? Because you're the one breaking the law right now, not me. >> What law am I breaking? >> Disturbing me and disturbing the public. >> Okay. Well, if we get called here because someone believes that you're a wanted person, and we're coming here to confirm that and you match the picture of a wanted person. >> Okay. You didn't show me a picture. >> You want to stop in here? >> So it's underway. Your So is your >> property? >> Huh? >> It's considered your property? >> What is? >> Cuz I was going to point out the the facial features. Clearly, that's not me. >> Okay, then you have a beard? >> Show me the picture again. >> Sir, I'm not going to show it to you again. >> Because clearly, that's an adolescent. That's not an adult. You can tell by the features. >> Okay, what's your birthday then? >> Don't worry about it. >> Okay. >> [laughter] >> Well, how am I supposed to confirm this isn't you? >> Yeah. Take it. >> told you not >> Look, all you got to do is just go ask McDonald's, "Hey, do you want him removed?" And then they'll say yes, and you remove him. I mean, it's he's not he's not going to be able to stay. >> No, go ahead and call somebody else cuz I'm not going to confirm my identity with any of >> Okay, so someone else shows up, and then you'll confirm your identity? >> Yeah, go ahead. >> Okay. >> Cuz that way I can get your name and your name for the arrest. >> My name is Payton Overlin. >> Okay, can you give me your card? >> I don't have a card on me. >> So, unprofessional. You next? Professional? Yep. >> Oh, he doesn't want to go down the professional route. This guy doesn't even want to give his name. If you don't have anything to hide, like, "Yeah, here you go. Here's my name. Run it." I ain't wanted. >> Um my card's in my office. >> Okay, then you can go ahead and get that. >> Here you go. Here's another person. >> Don't reach for nothing. Right now, you're not reaching for anything. >> There you go. >> We're reaching for stuff. >> I'm trying to put everything away so I can go outside. >> No, you're not going outside right now. >> Same person. We even have a captain here. >> All right, there you go. >> So, harassment already, that's one. >> All right. >> They're they're telling me that I'm wanted. >> And they're trying to confirm some wanted identity. >> Yep. >> So, I asked them for the picture, and he doesn't want to give it to me. >> I showed it to you. I'm not giving you the piece of paper. >> He has to trace it on him right now. >> Once we determine who you are, then it's fine. So. >> We didn't say you were wanted. >> Okay, then you push You go You go that way, and I'll talk to him. >> No. >> They're going to stay with you. >> They're going to stay with me? >> Yeah. >> Okay, then at this time, I'm going to go ahead and leave and get out of this town cuz I'm being harassed. >> We're going to identify and if you're not the person that's on there then you're going to be free to leave. >> But until we the >> Okay, then give me your card and your card. Now. >> Give us your >> Cuz I'm being harassed. >> Give us your ID. >> Just give us your ID and then we we can give you >> Then we then call this quid pro quo and we exchange IDs. >> Give me your cards. >> [laughter] >> Pull your ID out. >> Show me your IDs first and then I'll give you my ID. >> Okay. >> Why do you harass me? I was not walking down the street. I was here as a paid customer. >> Okay. >> So therefore I can stand this higher ground. >> Honestly, he probably has less uh standing in this private establishment than he would out on a public street. On a public street he can just keep walking, you know, but he's in a private establishment which he does not own and that the McDonald's has the right to decide whether he stays or doesn't stay in there. And at this point he's being disorderly to the rest. Even though, look, I get it. It's an engagement between police and him which is kind of what's making it disorderly, but they can decide that they don't want him at any point. >> Not necessarily. >> Okay. How so? >> I mean they could to kick you out of your chewing too loud. I mean that's their right. They own it. It's a private business. You may not like it. You don't have to go back to that business anymore, but that's the right that they have. It's their property. >> I have reason to believe you're a wanted suspect. >> Show me your ID and we'll take you over to the jail and they can ID you there when they run your >> I don't have an ID. >> Then I guess we don't have a lot of options here. >> So you're saying I don't have a lot of freedoms. >> I'm saying that we're going to identify >> No, you're saying I don't have a lot of freedoms. >> We're going to identify you one >> baggage details my status. >> Do you have your ID with you? >> I already told you no. >> What's your name? >> So arrested for what? Having no ID? >> What's your name? >> We are going to detain you until we can determine who you are. >> So we've talked about this before. Because they have a suspicion that he might be on the FBI's most wanted they can detain him and take him down and do what's called a one roll where they take his fingerprints and decide if this is indeed the person they're looking for. If not, they can cut him loose. Him showing his ID would eliminate a lot of this, but I'm guessing he knows he has a warrant or something's not right. If he's not the guy, I don't know. Oh, oh. Look like he threw a punch. I mean, this is where I think you deliver strikes. I think all too often in these situations, I mean, a a knee strike, um you know, some type of strike to to to gain compliance would be appropriate here. Um but they went to There's multiple people here, so they could have, you know, they were going to win this fight in the end, but >> [laughter] >> So, now he's going to pick up a resisting charge. Folks, have you looked at your credit card statement lately? You know, you're working 40, 50 hours a week just to buy groceries and gas, things you used to be able to afford, and the credit card companies are charging you over 20% for that privilege. Or you can go to americanfinancing.net/lamb. Let's get back to our video. >> On your side. Stay just like that. >> What is that? >> That's stuff that's on you. >> CBD? >> And your legs out this way. >> Extend your legs out. >> Roll to your other side a little bit. Multiple layers of clothes on. >> Quit. Knock it off. Quit. >> Look at me. I want to remember a face. >> Okay, remembered it. >> How was my tube? >> Oh, super glued. >> No, it's sealed by my almighty father himself. >> Here we go with the craziness. >> Look at it. What does it say? >> I can't read it. >> Guess you can't read, huh? >> No. That's why you became a cop. >> [laughter] >> You got me. >> Trampling on other [ __ ] people's rights. >> He's got something down here too, man. man. >> Let me search the rest of his ankles. >> He's so got something in here. >> Here, these can come down. >> I think it's under this. It's something It might be a smaller hat, maybe. Looks like a hat. >> Another hat? >> Yeah, it's the bill of the hat. >> You want to check his other leg? >> Another hat. >> I can be comfortable Can I be comfortable having multiple layers of clothes on like that and all those hats shoved in your pants like that? But when you're Oh. Checked his nose and his >> My name's Seth. I'm just going to check out the barbs in your chest, okay? What's your name? >> Don't worry about it. >> All right, sounds good. >> [laughter] >> Can I Are you good at taking them? Are you going to pull up a squad? >> You want to pull yours up, that's fine. >> You get away from me. >> Not going to happen, dude. I don't listen to you. >> Don't listen to me. >> You want us to pull them up for you before you go? I'm going to get close and personal with you. One, two, three. >> [clears throat] >> I'm bleeding. >> Try to bend your knees. >> Bend this one in. >> Yeah, this guy's This is not his first time. It's not his first rodeo. >> What are you doing? >> What's up? >> Alejandro? >> No, I'm not Alejandro, man. >> All right, well what's your name? >> I don't like you. Mistaken identity and I told the guy Hold on, he sitting here and put my pants on. >> That's all his fault, man. That's all he had to do is give it. Like the majority of the people in society I look I don't like I I like big brother. I don't like too much government. But I don't have a problem if you come up and you're looking for a wanted person, I'm more than happy to tell you my name. Cuz you know why? I know I'm not wanted and I'm more than I want you to catch those people. This guy was nothing but difficult and he could have probably got out of this problem. No I mean, we'll see if he even has a warrant. Now he's got felony charges because he fought the cops. Well, they didn't care because you were fighting with them. >> The suspect, 35-year-old homeless man Adan, was actually not the wanted man police thought he was. Police were looking for Alejandro >> That's like a two head. You know, most people have a forehead. Some people have like five head. That's like a two head. No hair, no forehead. >> Rosales Castillo, a former fugitive on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List. >> I mean, look, I could see how they thought that was uh the guy, but man, I'd have been like, that's not me, you know, you you run my name. >> 2016 murder of his co-worker. He was recently captured in Mexico in January 2026 after nearly a decade on the run. The incident in >> Which by the way, I did look up this guy. I haven't seen the video, but I I looked up the guy. He actually came into the country illegally in 2016 through Nogales in here in Arizona. Comes in through uh the border, gets in here, and then he stays in here, commits the murder, I think in uh 2017. They issue a warrant for him in February of 2017. He doesn't he obviously they can't find him, so he gets put on the FBI's Most Wanted List in October of 2017. So, that guy they're looking for, obviously, we want to find him. He killed somebody. And they did end up finding him in >> The body cam footage took place >> They ended up finding him in Mexico and arresting him just in 2026, so. >> This is a year prior in January 2025 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, the suspect, [music] Adan, was charged with felony attempting to disarm a peace officer, felony battery or threat to judge, prosecutor, or law enforcement officer, and resisting obstructing. After pleading not guilty to all charges, Adan was found guilty by a jury and was sentenced [music] to 170 days in jail with good time granted, which lowered his sentence by 127 days, meaning he served 43 more days in jail and was then released back into the public. >> So, they gave him time served for the time that he was in jail. He probably couldn't afford to bond out. Probably didn't want to bond out cuz he was homeless, so he just stayed in jail. Um it's probably a lot warmer and you had food every day. Uh he ended up getting 170 days. Frankly, if you're found guilty by a jury for all three of those things, I think you should have spent a couple years in prison, uh not not 170 days, of the which 143 of them he had already served. So, he ended up serving 43 more days. So, what let me know what you think. How did these guys handle it? Did they violate his rights? I don't think so. I think they were trying to Look, we have a uh we are working in good faith. We don't have all the facts when we show up. We're working in good faith. McDonald's calls, we have to come and show up and do a decent investigation. What if that guy was the actual fugitive and we just were like, "Oh, he didn't want to talk to us, so we just cut out and left." How fair is that to the family of the person that was killed? And how fair is that to society to let somebody that's the FBI's most wanted go back? So, we're in a tough position because we've been called there. There's a belief that this may that he looked like he might have been uh the person. And so, there's a responsibility on law enforcement to act in good faith, which they did. He escalates the situation with his defiance, his refusal to provide an ID, which for the most of the majority of us is very simple. Turns out, looks like he has no warrants. So, if he'd just given his ID, boom, they leave. They're on their way. But, instead, he aggravates the situation and ends up catching these charges. So, I think they did a great job. They have a responsibility to the public to ensure that we take bad guys off the street. And this guy escalated a situation that could have gone very different. So, let me know what you think.
