This. Why? Please, hold on. I'm his father. CAN I CALM HIM DOWN? LET ME CALM HIM. All right, I'll take care. My other son got hit by a bullet. Then my son got shot. >> I have I just arrived on scene. >> Please, I don't care about him. I'm worried about my other son. >> All right, everybody. Welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from Midwest Safety, one of my favorites. Chaos erupts during a routine gas station call. I love how they put routine in quotations because nothing is routine in this job. Here we go. I haven't seen it. >> Watch what this man in a gas station store does while police are investigating a situation. >> Officer, I'm sorry. >> Oh. >> The case officers are investigating also goes haywire. >> Hey, what's up, man? I got to figure out what's going on. >> They're trying to claim that I'm some kind of >> No, he's being very disrespectful. >> crazy. >> Do you have a driver's license on you? >> Yeah, bro. I'm not playing these games, though. >> Look, I got you're not playing games, but I got called to a disturbance, okay? >> Come >> to tell me what happened. >> But I need to figure out what they're telling me first. You get what I'm saying? >> She's drunk as [ __ ] going in there acting crazy. >> Do you have any open containers >> Oh, bro. Come on. >> Okay, turn around. >> Catch it. >> Come on, bro. Don't go touching me. Like, don't be touching me. >> Don't be touching me. >> I'm just patting you down. >> Put him in cuffs. There you go. >> My body is >> I broke my hand, buddy. >> This is what you're doing. >> This is what you're doing. This is what they're doing. >> Just be calm. >> I told you you could search me, bro. What do I got to hide? >> Hands behind your back, right? >> No, cuz this dude came over like a big guy. >> My grandfather would have your >> Take a seat right now, bro. >> Stop touching me. Why do you keep touching me? >> Take a seat. >> Keep touching me, little ass boy. >> See, this is why we put people in cuffs right away when we don't know what the heck's going on. This guy would have freaking got progressively more emboldened, more violent. So, I'm glad that they they took control of it right away. Good work there. >> All right. >> Hold on. A little closer. >> We're also going to have to press charges for damage, please. He broke this door trying to open it. It does not open no more. >> All right. Who's the girl? I I hear the girl talking. >> Yeah, she is. >> Do you want to explain what happened? All right, do you want to come over here for a second after you? All right, so who's this? Is this your boyfriend? >> Yeah. >> What happened tonight here? >> Yeah, but I feel so bad because his mom and his brother are in here now cuz they already >> That's his mom and his brother? >> Yeah, they came. They literally live across the street. I jumped out of the car and I was like, I don't feel comfortable. >> Who was driving? >> Him. >> Okay, so you guys left in his car. Oh boy, who are these dudes? And then what happened on the way or like where where were you going after he did this? What are you supposed to do? >> Huh? >> Okay. >> Right here. >> So on the way, what happened before you got home? >> Just being very very very stressful. I didn't feel comfortable. I ran in here. His mom and his brother showed up. I was like, I'm so sorry. >> So what happened in the car? Did you just as he was driving, you just ran out of the car and ran away? >> He just got Yeah, he smashed my phone. My phone's not working. >> Okay, what when did he do this? >> And those two guys, it's got me feeling uneasy too knowing that they're in that they just walked by like that. >> Was it as we were >> As we were getting out of the car, like he threw my phone. They tried to plug it in for me, but >> So did he frighten you at all or when he was breaking your phone, did he like strike you or anything? >> Not like vocal threatening, but like being crazy. >> But he threw up Where did he throw the phone? It was outside? >> Yes. >> You want to put that in a written statement or no? >> I honestly feel really bad for him because I feel like he has a lot of like mental things going on. And I love his family. I I don't want to be that person. >> Okay, do you want to just hang on a second because I just got to figure out what's going on with him and then we'll let you know, okay? All right, I know you told me what happened but just from in your guys' perspective, what did you guys see? >> This way you got a lot of missing You got a lot of components going on. You got the girlfriend, which looks like some type of disorderly conduct, maybe domestic violence, throwing the phone or a criminal damage. You would charge like a criminal damage DV, domestic violence, because he if he broke the phone. Um then you have these other two goofs guys that walk in. Uh who the heck knows who they are. They look shady. Now you got to go back and you got to talk to the store people. Apparently the mom and the sister are inside as well. Could be interesting what happens here. >> She came in crying. He chased her away. >> She was asking us to call 911 from up there. >> He kept telling me no. >> Trying to get her not to. She said she doesn't feel safe. She doesn't feel comfortable. So I ended up taking her to the back and he was trying to go past us. >> I am? Do you know who I am? >> Did he break >> something in here? >> It's the store. You can't see it's off and it doesn't It doesn't push open. >> Okay. >> All right. >> It's stuck. >> Would one of you guys just mind doing a statement just on what you saw? And then if you guys want to have him trespassed from here, I don't know if the manager wants to do that. >> Yeah. No, he will cuz he damaged property. >> So who's the manager right now? >> Uh well, Kenny's coming right now. So yeah. >> All your stuff right now, is at his place? Do you need to go back there for anything tonight? >> Yeah. >> Do you have a key? >> I No, he won't try to >> So you see, you're going to try to if he's recognized he's trying to be engaged with this the witness or the victims here at the store and then you got these dudes walking in the background just being weird. >> Yeah, that's her. >> It's going to catch her attention. >> All right. It's cool if she goes back to the house and grabs whatever she needs for for the night. Okay. All right. Because what's going to happen is there's going to be no contact between you guys. So whatever you need to get, I would just get it tonight so you don't have to go back. Thank you. Okay. What's your uh what's a good contact number for you? >> Have a good night. >> Yeah, it's all good. >> Sorry. >> If you need anything else, call us, okay? >> Thank you. >> And it doesn't even like this part cuz you can push even >> What's he doing? >> Is this jammed? >> He's getting arrested anyway. I'm going to document this if it ends up being like damaged. >> All right, he's got a nice sweatshirt. Patriots. >> Right now I can't talk to him with handcuffs. I think it's just behind the hinge is what it is. >> Do you have his name? >> It's behind the hinge. I don't think it's broken. >> I'll give you his name in case that they want to do a no trespass. >> He just moved in with them like a few weeks ago. >> She said he's like that all the time. >> Alberto >> Oh! Oh! Yeah. >> [laughter] >> Chaos. They're like, "Who the hell are you?" Well, he's going to jail now. That door's broken. >> [snorts] >> Jesus Christ. What the What are you doing? What is your name? All right. All right. I'm sorry. Why did you assault that person? He threatened me. He stole my stuff earlier today. How do you know who he is? Cuz he was walking by me earlier when I had my stuff on the ground. I went to You got [laughter] to be [ __ ] stupid. I love the East Coast cops, man. I love it. There's two cops outside and you're in there causing a [ __ ] What? You think we feel like dealing with this right now? >> [laughter] >> You have ID in any of that [ __ ] you just pulled out of your pocket? No, everything I had was [ __ ] stolen. You said you did it when he was walking by earlier today. So, he just walked by you and said, "Hey, I stole your stuff." Huh? That's what you were saying. He was sitting. What are you talking about? What's your name? What's your name? Mike Mike Yeah. Is it Michael? Yes. Are you homeless right now? Where do you live at? Uh uh I was actually uh All right. Yes, I'm homeless. Sorry. I I got out of the ACI. >> So, adult correctional institution. So, either he's in jail or looks like there's probably some mental health problems here, too. He does look like he's or does look and act and talk like he's drunk. Hey, bud. You okay, bud? All right. You No, no. Just don't have the girlfriend come here, please. We don't No, no more scuffles. You want to Let's have a seat over here, bud. Where you hurt? I want to move the camera like just a little bit so I can see who this is. >> Have you ever seen that guy ever? >> Oh, boy. >> Here. >> Sorry. >> No, you're fine. You're fine. Some random dude. >> You guys want to I'm just backing up a little bit just because we're going to have a rescue coming up, all right? You want to pursue charges on the person who hit you? >> Hell, yeah. >> [laughter] >> Got one in custody for massive disorderly, massive vandalism, probably just disorderly. And then as we're investigating that, this other guy in the who's in the store, nothing to do with this, decides to just start punching a guy. So, we have him in custody for at least going to be disorderly, I'm assuming probably >> Chaos. See what kind of stuff we got to deal with? You can't even write this stuff. It's just crazy how quickly things can It can go sideways. >> Yeah. Disaster. >> Dude, SHUT THE [ __ ] >> I CAN'T BREATHE. >> WHY DO YOU THINK THAT'S TIGHT? WHY DO YOU THINK THAT'S TIGHT? FACE THAT WAY. >> I CAN'T BREATHE. >> I CAN'T BREATHE, OKAY? I CAN'T BREATHE. >> WHY IS THIS >> PLEASE, TURN IT >> WHO ARE YOU? >> I'M HIS FATHER. >> OKAY. CAN I CALM HIM DOWN? Let me calm him down. >> All right, I'll take him. My other son got hit by a bullet. >> on. Then my son gets shot. >> No, he's fine. >> I can't breathe, bro. Then my son get hit. >> I have I just arrived on scene. >> Please, I don't care about him. >> Okay, it must be the son, the other son who got punched in the face. >> I'm worried about my other son. >> I just arrived on scene. I don't know who I am. >> Okay, but you're running on me like I'm a [ __ ] maniac, so >> No, because someone SAID MY SON GOT SHOT. >> NO, one shot. >> Please, take him over there. >> [laughter] >> I can't feel my >> He's being a [ __ ] lunatic. Can I talk to him? >> No, you can't talk to him. >> He's being a lunatic. >> Can I talk to you? No, you I I know you. You're not talking to him right now cuz he's being a [ __ ] [ __ ] >> PUNCH HIM IN HIS [ __ ] MOUTH. >> OKAY, BACK UP. RELAX. Just back up. >> Punch him in his [ __ ] >> Just go with me then, okay? Where's your car? Is that your car? >> No. >> How about >> Did my son get shot? >> No, he did not get shot. >> What happened to Adam? They said he got hit. >> They don't even know who Adam is at this point, brother. Because they can't even they're still trying to piece together the first thing. I'm assuming Adam is the guy who got punched in the face a couple times. >> Can you just sit in your car right now? I'll let you know what's going on. >> If your son was just calm with us, this none of this would have been going on right now. He's fine. He's not hurt. >> No, my other son. >> You got him. >> Who's your other son? >> They said my other son got hit. >> There is a kid in there that got punched in the face, but he's fine. He's not he he's fine. >> Who punched like you know who I'm with. >> Oh, boy. >> I dude, he's fine. He he's good. He's fine. >> Who punched >> Hey, hey, hey, hey, come on. Come on. We're not doing all that right now. We're not doing all that right >> There's strength >> There's guys out here. Just relax. >> No, there'll be so many guys down here. >> Just go wait in your car. >> Go wait in your car. >> What is like some mafioso man? >> He's locked up. Don't worry about it. >> Who punched him? >> We have him locked up. I don't know the kid's name. Don't worry about it, okay? >> No, it ain't all right. >> He's under arrest. >> Just come over here. Just >> Who punched my son? You're going to arrest me. >> He knows me. >> Who punched my >> He's locked up. I told you that. He's locked up. >> Oh, he's [ __ ] more than locked up. >> Can you just calm down? >> No, I >> What do you got like some This guy might have punched the wrong kid. >> He ain't [ __ ] done. Arrest me. >> Oh my god. >> I'm going to tell everybody right here who punched my [ __ ] son. >> We have him in custody. >> You do it that side. Take him the [ __ ] away. >> down? We locked the guy up. We locked him up. >> to know who it is. >> Okay, we locked him up. We have him in custody. >> That ought to make you feel good about it if you're the other son when their dad's like, "Who I don't care about that son. Lock Take him away. Lock him up." I want to know who punched my other son. >> I want to know who it is. >> him in custody. >> He's done. You guys know me. >> He's like a homeless guy. He's a >> I don't give a [ __ ] who he is. >> Al, we don't We don't need any more issues over here, okay? >> Issues? >> Yeah, we We're just trying to do our job. You know that. Look at you. You know we're trying to do our job. >> Please now, there's not enough people there already Exactly, there is enough people there already. And there's already enough chaos. And who's this freaking calling have 50 dudes showing up, man? >> Okay, that's fine, man. >> Dude, go wait in your car. GO WAIT IN YOUR YOU'RE CAUSING MORE RE >> YOU CAN ARREST ME. >> GO WAIT WAIT IN YOUR CAR. >> YOU CAN arrest me. >> Oh, I'm going to [ __ ] arrest him. >> Go wait in the car. >> Al, there's no need for this. We're handling it, Al. We're handling it. >> So, they got to know who he is. >> He's arrested. >> So, we're here for a disturbance with his other son who I have or domestic. As we're dealing with him, apparently this other guy just goes in and punches his other son that I guess is in there completely separate from this. So, we're dealing with this. This guy is getting put in the straw. We get him in the car. As we're dealing with the people from the store, we see this disturbance inside. We go lock him up, get back in there, realize the guy's hurt. So, call a rescue for him, which is his other son. And we have his son in custody. >> This guy's causing the issue. I'm just going to get him out of here. Michael. >> Yes. >> What did you What did you coldcock that kid for? >> I was sitting up the street earlier and when I was he he was at the same place we were sitting waiting for the bus and he's Some That's the guy that was on the side of me said he was the one that took my bag started to walk away." >> of [ __ ] You just made that up. >> No, I really did not. >> yeah, you just did. Cuz all They all said that he's a regular here, then they don't even know who you are. And this guy's never sat at a bus stop in his life. >> He lives across the street. >> Yeah, I guarantee he's probably comes from money. He's never sat at a bus stop in his life. >> Why would he have to sit on a bus? >> You're completely full of [ __ ] You just decided to call to [ __ ] clock him? Makes no sense. >> 311 >> Why would you do that when there's all cops in the parking lot? >> Instead of If he did steal it, >> wanted to go to jail. Probably it. Decided he wanted to go to jail. >> Tell a cop. What's the deal? >> Um >> Where are you from? >> I'm homeless. >> Uh do you still have your um >> I had a ACI the other day. Barely had a everything left. >> Yeah, okay. >> Yeah, he's a homeless, drunk guy. >> Did you want to go back to jail? Is that why you did that? >> No, not at all. >> All right. I used to work in jail, and people used to try to go back to jail when they had no other options. >> No, not at all. >> All right. >> Yeah. >> The original first suspect involved >> All right, let's see here. >> was charged with his first offense >> Okay, so domestic violence, refusal relinquish, demand damage. So damaging the phone Look, in most places, even if you I'm in my own home and I'm crashing my I'm punching breaking my TV, I can get charged with disorderly conduct, domestic violence, criminal damage. Um so de- criminal damage, domestic violence. In this particular case, he got charged domestic violence, um damage, obstruction, obstruction and the telephone. >> of domestic violence by damaging or obstructing a telephone. His first offense of domestic violence with vandalism, his first offense of domestic violence with disorderly conduct, vandalism, resisting arrest, and obstructing. He took a plea deal, pleading no contest to domestic violence with vandalism, and vandalism while all other charges were dismissed. He was ordered to participate in domestic abuse counseling and to pay restitution for the victim's phone. The suspect who randomly punched the other suspect's brother was charged with simple assault and or battery and >> Probably entails he was later killed in in jail by by a bunch of dudes. >> disorderly conduct. He took a plea deal pleading no contest to simple assault and or battery while the disorderly conduct charge was dismissed. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail, 320 days of license suspension, and 320 days of probation. >> That seems legit. I mean, that seems about about right. He's probably got to worry more about what happens when he gets back off the out of jail and back in the street when uh when old dad catches up with him. Uh I thought they did great job. They came in immediately. Had they not put that first guy in cuffs right away, this thing would have been total chaos cuz it was chaos anyway. And then you have a totally unrelated thing happen, but it ends up intertwining with the the first thing. I mean, just total chaos and family showing up. I mean, what a mess, but I thought these guys did a phenomenal job of dealing with it and kept everything in order, got people in cuffs quick, and uh yeah, I thought I thought they did a good job. I don't know if 40 45 days is a lot for an assault like that. So, um I'm think that's about fair. And the other guy just got some uh I think anger management and and had to pay restitution to the victim. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. We'll catch you on the next video.
