They can decide they don't want to press charges, but he's going to jail no matter what cuz he has a warrant. But they've dealt with this guy before, and they know he's probably unhinged, which is why they have so many guys. And look at how they've spread around him. And I thought they they probably confirmed the warrant and once they confirmed it they all heard it on their radio, boom, they went in, took him into custody. It sounds like he probably had a warrant that they got him arrested for on the warrant as well. That typically won't show up in your charging sheet because yes, you get charged with the warrant for the other stuff, and then they'll put the new charges on there.
