I figured rather than play this game, I just stop right to 41. >> I tried. >> 41. Right. >> If I was him, he'll probably need a blanket. He's got a broken window now. Okay. [Applause] [Music] >> How many times we've had to do that? >> Well, yeah. She's known for that. >> Um, do you want to pull this around the corner? >> Uh, he's supposed to be on his way. So, bring him here and just let him take it home. >> Look at me. This Karen was eventually charged with failing to obey a traffic control device and running and eluding because she ignored police directions and sought to elude law enforcement during the incident. Everyone has their opinion and the viewers who commented below this video are no exception. This seems like a parody of a traffic stop. This woman should not be driving at all. The language of Karens is universal. The lesson from this situation shows that when police order you to stop, cooperating is the only way to avoid trouble. Subscribe to Law Frame for more articles. If you like this, you will immediately move on to the next situation. >> Stop. Let's go. [Music] >> Stop resisting. >> On February 28th, 2024, a group of people with inquiries about the custody of a 9-year-old child showed up at a police station. The daddy leave the child is in my custody cuz she didn't live anywhere. She was from motel to motel and DCF on her with a problem with her. >> Okay, hold on. Let me read this. Okay. >> Okay. >> What's the deal? You're trying to take the daughter, but they won't let you. >> She This is my daughter. Can I talk to you over here? >> At that moment, the woman who claimed to be the girl's mother wanted to speak privately with the police, but the information she provided was vague and her attitude was quite aggressive. >> I'm sorry. >> I just better explain. I don't >> Do you have any paperwork? So, as far as I know, it's custody given to them. >> No, it hasn't. There's no >> Okay. Paperwork says it has been. Let me see. This Karen faced charges of resisting an officer without violence and trespassing after being told to leave. She admitted guilt to both offenses, but the court withheld adjudication, allowing her to avoid a formal conviction if she complied with the court's requirements. With such a crazy situation, the comments that followed after the video was released are also noteworthy. This is the kind of parent that 1% would sell that little girl to her dealer boyfriend. And she just proved why she doesn't need to have the child. She's collecting kids like they're Pokemon. The lesson from this situation is to stay calm and cooperate with the police, especially in sensitive matters like child custody. What a stubborn Karen. Right. If you enjoyed this, subscribe to Law Frame for more content. Stay tuned because the next Karen reacts even more aggressively. >> Understanding. >> 455. Give me traffic. >> You're not understanding. Put your hands behind your car. >> You have not at one point in time asked me. I am burning my feet. >> I am burning my feet. I am burning my feet. I am burning my feet. I am burning my feet. You are not asking me to do something. >> Come this way. You have not asked me to do something. That's adorable. >> 4555. Oh, well that's good, but that wasn't here because my first 30 minutes I was in here was not on you. So, I would like all of the first 30 minutes I was put into this vehicle that was not in here with her. I would like all of that into testimony because hey, >> that's a here. She was additionally charged with forcefully resisting arrest, which exacerbated the situation and led to more serious legal consequences. This is indeed a chaotic situation, isn't it? Let's examine what viewers have commented on after the video was circulated. The ex needs to 100% distance himself from that wreck. Once they become your ex, you stay out of their life. Why spend time together if she acts like this? This case demonstrates how driving while intoxicated and refusing to assist law enforcement simply makes matters worse. This Karen is already a mess. You can go ahead and look though. >> Okay. >> Officer Shepard said he could smell alcohol emanating from inside the car despite her denial of drinking. >> Any other in the car? >> No. >> Okay. >> Any alcohol in the vehicle? >> No, sir. >> Okay. All right. Do me a favor. Just stay in the car. Okay. So, and just to be clear, you had a verbal argument. Nothing was physical. >> Nothing at all. >> Okay. >> No. Just got in an argument. Nothing or physical. I mean, >> was that injury documented or >> No. >> Okay. So, so if I go back and look, you weren't in a fight tonight or or any other time? >> Mm-m. >> Okay. How did you sustain that injury to your face? I mean, me and my girlfriend were getting into it and then they had like stairs going into the pool. >> Mhm. >> And I hit my head going down. Pretty >> You fell and hit your face tonight. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I mean, I literally got a black toe. I'm I'm just a clumsy person. >> Okay. All right. Do you need Do you need to see a doctor about that or how's your head feeling right now? >> It's all good. >> It's all good. Okay. I'm just making sure cuz you were driving 20 mph over the speed limit. >> I'm just trying to go home. >> Okay. >> I'm so sorry. I'm trying to get home. >> Give me just a second. >> Standardized field sobriety tests were given to the woman. >> See the tip of my finger. Blink a couple times. Are you good to continue? Okay, now I'm going to go up. Okay. Um, give me a second here. All right. So, next test I'm going to ask you to do, can you visualize a straight line that goes on forever? Okay. It's about the width of your foot. All right. So, all I'm going to ask you to do first is place your left foot on that line. Place your left foot on your your line. And then you're going to place your right foot touching heel to toe in front of your left foot. Okay? So, it's going to look like this. Then, place your arms down at your sides. Right foot in front of your left foot >> like this. Just like me, right? Heel to toe, arms down at your sides. Maintain this position. >> See how you're shaking a little bit? >> I am. >> Do you understand the instructions? Yes, sir. >> Okay. Maintain this position while I get through the rest of the instructions. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. When I say begin, you're going to take nine heel totoe steps on the line. Turn around and take nine heel to toe steps back down the line. Make your turn by keeping your front foot on the line and turn by taking a series of small steps with your other foot. While you're walking, keep your arms at your sides at all times. Watch your feet at all times and count your steps out loud. Once you start walking, do not stop until you've completed the test. I'm going to demonstrate for you. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, my left foot's on my line. My right foot's touching heel toe. My arms are down at my sides. It's going to look like this. One, two, three. A series of small steps like so. One, two, three. >> I only got to do three. >> You have to do nine. I like the instructions. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. Do you understand the instructions in demonstration? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Once again, while you're walking, keep your arms at your sides at all times. Watch your feet at all times, and count your steps out loud. Once you start walking, do not stop until you've completed the test. To start the test properly, I need you to go back to the instructional stance. Left foot on your line, right foot touching heel toe in front of your left foot, arms at your sides. Do >> you understand? You may begin. One. 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 [Music] 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 It was nine, right? Not 10. >> Correct. All right. Uh, for the next test, uh, would you agree that this area is generally flat, debris free, well enough, lit by my car? Okay. >> Um, so what I'm going to ask you to do, just like the first test, I'm going to ask you to stand with the balls of your feet and your heels together and your arms at your sides. Just maintain this position throughout the remainder of the instructions. You understand? When I tell you to, you're going to raise either foot approximately 6 in off the ground, keeping your raised foot parallel to the ground. You must keep both legs straight and your arms at your sides. Hold that position while you count out loud in the following manner. 1,001 1,002 1,003 and so on until I tell you to stop. Keep your arms at your sides at all times and watch your raised foot. I'm going to demonstrate for you. Okay? So, just like you, right? Feet feet are together. I'm going to raise my left foot, but you can raise whichever foot you'd like. All right. 1,00 1,002 1,003 1,004 1,005 1,006 and so on until I tell you to stop. >> Do you understand the instructions? >> Yes. >> All right. Again, keep your arms at your sides at all times and watch your race foot. Sorry. It's uh Hey, Chamber. Will you ask for a UT? All right. Are you ready? >> Yeah. >> All right. You may begin. 100123 1004056 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019. >> You can stop. >> You can stop. All right. >> She was invited to take a portable breath test at the end of the testing, but she declined. She was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Du. >> Okay. So, all I'm going to ask you to do is to provide a voluntary breath sample on this. Okay. >> I'm good. I'll ask for a lawyer now. >> Okay. So, at this point, you still don't get a lawyer. I'm just gonna let you know. Okay. Whether you ask for a lawyer or not, you're not gonna matter at all. >> No. >> Okay. Um I'm not asking. >> So why do they say do then? >> We're not at that point in the process. Okay. >> Um so let me explain this real quick. Okay. >> Okay. >> Like I said, this is optional and voluntary. It's completely up to you. This is not the point in time where you ask for a lawyer. So what's going to happen right now is I've observed signs of impairment during your testing from the start all the way to now. Okay? So, what this is doing is I'm asking you to provide a voluntary breath sample to determine if that impairment is from alcohol or something else. >> Okay. So, that's what this is for. All right. So, that's where we're at right now. All right. The point in time where you ask for a lawyer is when you are in custody and I start interrogating you or asking questions, which I haven't done, right? >> Which I don't know what to do. >> I I understand that. And at this point, you're an adult and you have to make adult decisions. Okay. So, but the ball's in your court. I'm giving you this opportunity. And if you're if you're not impaired, then you then this is an opportunity for you to show me. >> Okay. >> And then what if I die? What happens then? >> Then I make my determination. Well, I'm going to make my determination based on testing no matter what. But this is just your opportunity to see where you're at. Okay. >> I don't want to. >> You don't want to do that? That's fine. You're under arrest for DUI. Okay. Sorry. the back seat right behind her. Yep. Going to call it. I see you got pockets. Um, is there anything else though? >> There's nothing in there. >> Nothing in there. Um, so like I said, you're in custody for DUI. Okay. Um, >> your phone's in the car. Do you have house keys or anything like that? >> No. Can I call my mom or? >> Not yet, but I will let you call your mom in a little bit. Okay. >> Yes. Well, it's not monetary bond, but yeah, you'll be able to get get picked up tonight. Okay. All right. So, here here's what we can do. I can speed this along. We can do all the paperwork right here. You can hang out. >> Please, please, please. or we can go back to the PD so you don't have to be out in public. You tell me which >> I don't want to go in public. >> Okay, then let's I'll finish my paperwork, we'll head back to the PD. We'll knock that out real quick and then we'll once we get all my paperwork done, then I'm going to ask you uh if you want to make phone calls. Okay. Do you need anything besides your cell phone? No, that's it. Okay. All right. Let's walk over here. Okay. I didn't pass any of the test. >> It's not past fail. It's whether you show impairment or not. And you definitely showed impairment. >> Okay. >> Until I get to go home. >> Well, we just got to get through some paperwork. Okay. Here's what I'm going to do to speed it along. We'll just go over to the hospital and I'll ask for a blood draw and then we'll be done. Okay. >> Can I get home? >> Yeah. >> I go home. >> Yeah. >> Work with me and I'll work with you, okay? So you can get picked up and call somebody. Okay. I got your cell phone. Let me print out your tickets so I can issue the one I got to issue to you and then we'll get out of here. Okay. This Karen could be charged with offenses such as driving under the influence DUI, driving with a suspended license due to a prior violation, and refusing to submit to a breath test. Many people commented on this circumstance and the girl's reaction in the published video. She in fact didn't learn her lesson. Driving drunk is your fault and the public shouldn't have to be in danger due to your bad decisions. This girl is in deep trouble. Hope she gets the help she needs. The lesson from this situation is that reaffending after having a license revoked for DUI will lead to more serious legal consequences. What an unyielding Karen. Um >> I could do test though. >> Okay. Yeah. As long as we could go like where it's we'll start right here. All right. >> Yeah. And sir, do you have an idea as well? >> Okay. Do you mind running for me? >> I got to do it. I got to be there. >> Um, you can do the >> Okay. Check your eyes. >> Okay. >> Yeah, >> she's fine. >> Okay. Well, couple things here. Let's I'm going to check your eyes. Okay. Just put your >> I'm sorry. >> Just uh don't tilt or move your head. Just keep your eyes on tip my finger. Okay. Well, >> don't try not to tilt your head. Okay. I see you shaking out there. I'm shaking in here myself. >> I know. Try not to move your head for me. Okay. >> Hey, officer. What? You on a swat? >> No. No. >> No. Keep your feet to your feet together. Keep your arms to your side. Well, hang on. >> So, imagine a thin straight imaginary line in front of you. Okay. >> Using your um put your right foot in front of your left foot with your right heel touching your left toe. You understand? >> Yes. >> So, do so do that right now. >> There you go. You got to keep it there. >> Well, how much do you >> Well, put your right heel in front of your left toe. There you go. Stay in that position. >> Okay. >> Do you understand what I'm telling you? >> Yes. But I need to like I've done this so far. So, put your feet together, arms to your side. Don't start until I tell you to begin. I'm going to demonstrate and tell you what to do. Okay? You're going to lift either foot um approximately 6 in off the ground. You're going to keep both your legs straight. Okay? And you're going to keep your eyes on whatever foot you're raising. Okay? It's going to look like this. So when I tell you to begin, you're going to raise your foot approximately approximately 6 in off the ground. Keep also keep it parallel to the ground. Okay? And count out loud 1,00 2 1,00 3 until I tell you to stop. Okay? Remember, keep both your legs straight and keep your eyes on the tip of your toe. Okay? Do you want anything else from there? >> My phone should be in my purse. I just need to call somebody, please. >> Okay. Well, you'll be able to call someone. Okay. So, sit tight. This Karen might face charges of physical control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated since although not being the driver. She was in the driver's seat, had an alcoholic odor, confessed to drinking, and did not pass the sobriety test. Isn't this a crazy scenario? Indeed, after the video became viral, let's look at what others had to say about it. I don't care how drunk she is. How is she supposed to drive with those brooms over her eyes? The fake sobbing and sniffling is so annoying. Driving while drunk is one thing, but doing so with those absurd lashes that worsen your vision even more than the alcohol alone. This is absurd. The takeaway from this case is that even in the absence of actual driving, one can still be prosecuted for just sitting in the driver's seat while inebriated. This Karen is such a stubborn person.
