10-4. Just a shower or what? All right, everybody, welcome back. We got another video for you. This one is from Code Blue Cam, and it is teen's perfect robbery plan ruins his life in minutes. Haven't seen it? Let's go. I don't like thieves. STOP KICKING. >> [screaming] >> OKAY. LOOK, I KNOW THIS IS JUST THE VERY FIRST PART, but criminals commit crimes, they're all tough, and they steal and they do these things, and then they cry like babies when they're caught or scream like that. >> Police received reports of a robbery at a deadly at a store. Multiple officers were quickly dispatched to get the situation under control. Shout out to Sheriff Zehner from Kenosha County, Wisconsin. A little too late. 764, uh, start med for the clerk. He got OC sprayed. What was that? What did you just spit out? He sprayed me, and what's this? He sprayed me and sprayed him. He beat the hell out of him. Around 4:35 p.m. on January 3rd, 2025, the officers were alerted to a robbery at a store in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The caller advised that the robbers were armed, and the situation was quickly spiraling out of control. Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene, and upon arrival, they soon discovered how bad [music] the situation really was. 790, go. Oh, damn, the door's off the hinges and everything. Hey, we got something moving back here. All right, so these are You show up, and this is what you see. You see a door, you know there's a robbery. So, depending on how many of you there are, you're going to want to make sure you cover the back so the suspect doesn't make it out the back. You've also got to have somebody covering the front. You got also have to You don't know if it's an active robbery, so you might have to make a a a dynamic entry into the building and check all the different aisles, all the while making sure somebody doesn't slip out behind you out the front door again. So, these are all the things that you're starting to kind of get processed in your head and it looks to me like two cars show up. Now, they they see us moving behind the store. Let's see what they do. But, those are all the things that immediately I start to think about. And you don't know who it is. So, all the people you're going to come in contact with patrons in the store, uh store clerks, you got to decide whether they they are the suspects or they are the victims. Cuz sometimes suspects will act like victims if they get caught it red-handed. I heard some movement. 764 to squads on this. Clerk motioned that they ran out the back. >> You all right? Where did they go? This way. Two kids went this way. I'm just saying, man. Okay. They ran around back. What did they look like? Huh, the two black kids. Huh, skinny. What were they wearing? What were they wearing? Huh, black shirts. Hoodies. Okay. Masks. Yeah, like this. Okay. They were wearing breathing masks. 764, it's going to be two juvenile male blacks wearing masks. Okay. Do you want some Descriptions are important. So, one of the first things we do when we're looking for suspects, get a description. As a matter of fact, when I was taking police testing, this is what they tested you on. One of the questions was a description like they give you a scenario and then they come back and ask you, "In the scenario, were the two suspects wearing Was one of them wearing white jeans and a blue hoodie?" And so, they kind of test you on this. But, they find out what it is so they can put it out over the radio. Do you have something? No, we don't have anything for your face right now. Do you need medical attention? No. I'm good. Look, I hate pepper spray. I hate it. I hate using it. I never used it. This guy got pepper sprayed and then you can see it's having an effect even on the officer here as well. Did you say black hoodies? You said all black? Yeah, two two guys. 764 uh start med for the clerk. He got OC sprayed. Let's [snorts] get some water first. I mean, all you can do is share. All you can do is really wash your face and just tough it out. Honestly, get it off. Every time you put water back on it, it reactivates it. You just kind of just have to tough it out. There's another kid in here with Come on out. Did you get hit in your face? He hit them He He He hit them bad. And then I hit them back, too. Should I put water in my eyes? It sounds like they scrapped it out. We got Daniel the right here. They'll take care of it. They're right. Once he puts water on that, it might feel good in the for a second, but then it just reactivates it. So, let fire come in and deal with it. They're right. And really, you don't want people going back in the store. I don't even know that they've even cleared the store yet. We don't know if the suspects are in the bathroom still. We don't really know. Or in the back room, storage room. I I I feel like they probably should have checked all that immediately. And I don't Unless we missed it on the body camera, I haven't seen that. What was that that you just spit out? Blood I think. I don't understand. I don't know what that is. Can you open your mouth for us? Are you missing any teeth? No? Let's see your hands. Hey sir, do you know how to Is your Are your eyes okay? Yeah, his eyes [music] are okay. And then bless. Your eyes are okay? No. Did you get this elbow? Yeah, I got this elbow. After both victims were properly attended to by EMS, officers began investigating [music] and assessing the damage. And that's when they discovered a shocking pattern. Excuse me, can I come in? Negative, this is a crime scene, sorry. >> Okay, where my nephew is? Oh. >> Not inside, who's What did he say? Oh, they told me he was on He's tall, okay, and skinny. Okay, what's his last name? He Was he supposed to be coming over here to get snacks or something? He's an adult. We have no adults besides the two victims inside. He was supposed to come over here to get him some snacks. They pepper sprayed two males in here and then ran off trying to steal something. And right now it's a armed robbery. This kid seems to be open have a problem. I told him ID ID ID. Because of them we got a couple tickets because if you don't give it them, they took stuff and run away. Show me your ID and I give you the stuff. No. No, then other kids had to be then he came out then they fight. I came outside to tell him to come inside. He sprayed me and sprayed him and come inside. He beat the hell out of him. After reviewing the victim statements, officers took a screenshot of the teenage boys from the surveillance footage and put all units in the area on high alert to locate and apprehend them. One of them were wearing a black hoodie. 7536 901 from my center. That unless we have eyes on these guys. Within minutes of the search, one of So, one of the things is when you're a when you have a beat and you're a police officer in a beat, you know which cars belong typically. You know who's who belongs in the neighborhood. You know when something's out of the ordinary and that's why it's important that a guy really get to know his beat or her beat when they are when they have a beat so that in a situation like this, it helps him when you're looking for somebody. Officer spotted an individual who fit the description of one of the boys, but when he approached him to confirm, he hadn't expected the sudden shift in the teen's attitude. Okay. Hey, what's up? 748 11 Hey 9 Hey bro, come here. You got any weapons on you? You got any weapons on you? Uh yeah. What do you got? Hold still. I'm sorry. What do you got on you? What are you doing, man? What do you got on you? Put him in cuffs. All right, put him in the cuffs. Yep. Yeah, there you go. 6950, we're out with one. The 16th Ave and 61st Street. We got your back. We got your back. 740's out with some one detained. He has OC on him. Hey, just stay back. Oh, someone just got pepper sprayed and he's got pepper spray on him. Pepper spray. You got pepper spray in your eyes? Just stop. Were y'all with him or did he just walk up? What? Were y'all with him at any point or did he just walk up? Do you know who he was hanging out with? No. Where'd your buddy go? Where's the other guy? Do you know? Do you want He fits the description. Black male, tall, skinny. And Manny, you need to check your eyes out. Hey, hold Not the black hoodie part, but I'll look at him. What are you doing, man? I didn't You're acting a fool, bro. What's wrong, man? I breathe this stuff. Okay. What happened? I took me I got a daughter, bro. All right, so just breathe, man. Okay. Dude Are these guys his friends? No. While officers confirmed they had the right suspect, his partner was still on the loose. But if they thought they'd get any information out of him, they soon realized they were in for a long evening. Where's your partner at, man? Did you get pepper sprayed at all? Where would your guy have gone? All right, man. He's saying that's funny. I got to search you, man. Quick, make sure you ain't got nothing on you. Okay, but why do you Why do you keep moving? Face the car here and let me check you, make sure you ain't got nothing on you and then we can talk. So you would make a note of those initial spontaneous spontaneous utterances when he said he he messed up. Even though he was in cuffs, they wasn't solicited by the officers. They were merely asking where his partner was and then he started saying I screwed up. Those are spontaneous utterances, but they are going to want to Mirandize this guy really quick in case he does make any other incriminating statements. You don't want to lose them when you go to court. I don't know. I got through the fight. Separate your feet. Separate your feet. Yeah. Separate your feet. All right. Hey, separate your feet. What Hold up. Hold up for a second and pay attention. >> Sir, I don't have no weapons. >> Well, I got to make sure, man. Stop moving. I just wanted to go to a party. Okay. How old are you, man? Good is not an age, bro. How old are you? I'm 17. 17? You got How How [laughter] How old are you? I'm good. Good is not an age is right. I'm 18. You're 18 now? Hey. Way too much. Get in the car. Yeah. Get out. There's too many people showing up. Get in the car. For real. He didn't say much and then all of a sudden he was putting him in the car and right before they closed the door he starts talking tough back to these folks. Does he smoke or something like is he on something what's his problem? Who is he hanging out with? Does he have any like mental issues or does he have any mental Okay, everybody else is wearing coats and beanies and junk and this chick standing out in a tank top and shorts. We don't even know what happened we don't know if like they were attacked and they pepper sprayed back in self-defense or whatever. We're still trying to figure everything out. Yeah. He was just acting up like we Him acting like that obviously. We're not even sure if he's going Thank goodness there's subtitles cuz I don't even know if she I'd even know what she's saying. I went to a cookout the other day in Memphis I couldn't understand I was trying to give my order and I could not understand what they were asking me. And when the ambulance arrived his attitude only grew more bizarre. What's going on? You think this is her? Hey. All right look. >> Hold hold on. You're still in custody so you can't >> No shut the [ __ ] up talking to us man. Oh yeah yeah. No you can get inside the car. All right did you know Get in the car. Dude you're on something bro. I don't know what the hell it is. Get inside the car. All right man I got a question for you. Get in the car. Huh? Get inside the car. There we go. He's all over the place. I want to be a officer when I grow up. Well, that ain't going to happen right now. Answer their questions, okay? You need to answer their questions. All right, you're under arrest, Abdul. I don't want to go to jail. What's going on? Hold on, give me a second. Give me a second. All right. But yeah, man, like trying to I'm trying to be an artist, man. Does he want to be a cop or an artist? What is it? Man to man, bro. I I'm trying to I'm trying to survive. I just want the world to be happy, all right? I want to see everybody do good. I'm not a selfish person. That's just not who I am. I mean, but as of right now, I'll probably lose Do you want medical attention, bro? Is this a show or what? Yeah, it's just a show. See what kind of nonsense we got to deal with? Hey, do you want medical attention? No. Okay. Don't touch me. Sorry about that. >> He is all over the place. I would wear gloves if you're touching everywhere that's got blood or if you got hand sanitizer on you. It's dried up blood, but still. He hit me first. Okay. So, they just identified him over the radio. They were calling it in. These guys were watching the video. They said, "Yep, that's" They identified him. And the guy says, "Yeah, he hit me first." Can my cousin come WITH ME? NO. OH, THERE YOU GO. He's going to write a note, folks. After he was cleared of the possessed decided to transport him to jail. But, when they arrived, the 18-year-old completely lost it. They used to have these things called bath salts back in the day, and people would go on be on bath salts. Literally, they were bath salts. They'd smoke them or whatever, and it was uh it would people would get very erratic behavior like this. Dude, don't spit on me. They should have put a spit mask on him. Mama, I love you. You're my everything. Just watch my brother. I p- promise. Mama, I love you. I'm sorry. I just want to make money by you know I got a baby on the way. Stop. Just let me go. He just wanted to make money, but his I In his mind, making money means go steal it from one of the stores, from somebody else who worked hard to get it. That's in his mind making money. If you want to make money, go work. Get what we call a job. Do it in the honest way. What did he say? What did he say? Face the wall. Did you say something? He's definitely on something. He's definitely on something. I'm not going to He's acting way too weird. Um do you want us to take him to the hospital to get checked cuz I'm concerned that he might have taken something. He's doing way too much. We'll take him to the hospital. Take him to the hospital. It's a It's like a cell phone charger cord. Yeah, I'll just hit him with a mace defector. What's on him? He's already in the facility, too. So, if he has anything else on him, it's going to be contraband in a in a in a jail and it that's a heavy charge, too. Money. I'm going to live life how I got to live it how I want to live it cuz that's how I'm going to do it. So, don't touch don't touch me. Don't do none of that [ __ ] Calm down. Do you want to take him to the hospital? I'm going to go. I'm a [ __ ] your mama. I'm a [ __ ] your mama. I'm a [ __ ] He's nice. IT'S CRASH OUT. YEAH, CRASH OUT. GET OUT. GET OUT. STOP THAT. GET OUT. CRASH OUT. CRASH CRASH NOPE. I KNOW YOU PEOPLE THINK THERE AREN'T PEOPLE THAT ARE POSSESSED, but there are people that are possessed. This looks like that, too. A lot of it comes hand in hand with drugs, too, but man. Nope. You better stop. STOP KICKING. STOP KICKING. LET'S TAKE HIM TO THE JAIL. Let's take him to the jail. Hey, please, please, please. Sir, you need to Sir. the [ __ ] out my man. Listen to me. He is on my charge. Then you need to cooperate with what we're telling you to do, okay? >> All right. Chill the [ __ ] out. Did you take anything? I don't know. Well, you don't know if you took anything? No. If you did, what would it be? Drugs, probably. What kind? All that [ __ ] but I don't get no [ __ ] I'm asking for you to help you. Help me. Did you take any kind of drugs? Answer the question. >> daddy. You do it the best. Did you take anything? He is all over the place. It could be PCP, acid. Sometimes man, they get superhuman strength, too. Take four or five of you. I remember guy about 5'10 just tossing guys around in our jail like rag dolls before I became came sheriff, but and he was just a skinny 5'10 throwing grown men around like nothing when they're on these types of drugs. He's hard. Stop. Wait, sir. >> Stop. Just I'm okay. Just please, man. Just For I just have to make money. I got the proof of everything. Get the head up. Don't hit your head. Stop that. Stop that. I don't even give a [ __ ] No, we didn't. No [ __ ] Do you know who the [ __ ] I am? Who am I? There's no [ __ ] name is you, god. Are you an ape? Preferably tell us what kind of drugs you're No, for real. I can't go to jail. Please. He's possessed. I am. What does that have to do with anything? Oh god, that [ __ ] make money. You can see that the normal him come out occasionally and then the other part come out. I don't think you're in a position to be calling other people dumb at this point. So they must be at the station where they they're not at the jail. This is probably like a holding cell at the station and they're right. The jail probably is not going to take him in this kind of position. The jail once they take him from you then they accept the responsibility. Having ran a jail, we didn't necessarily want folks that were acting like this. They need to go to the hospital and get cleared by a doctor before they come in our jail and we take responsibility cuz what after that we pay for their hospital visits, all of that stuff. If they hurt somebody, if they die because of the drugs they took, that all falls on us in the jail. So the jail's not going to take this guy without being medically cleared. They're exactly right. His belt is his uh charging cord. Crash out. Crash out. Crash out. Crash out. Crash out. If we can't get him, we'll just cut it off. Man, I don't get no You know who I am? Oh, no. He had a belt, too. I can go home. What are we thinking, jail or hospital? Hey, Tom, what are we doing with him? He's here? All right. While he was being checked, his mother arrived at the police station and seemed to have an idea of what was wrong with her son before learning about the consequences he would be facing. Hello. I'm Officer Mendez, Kenosha Police. Um what information were you looking at? Um what's going on? We won't be able to share a ton of information. Okay, so in this situation where the mom shows up, if he was 17, 16, 15, totally different story. 18, he's an adult. So, whatever they share with the mom at this point is out of sheer just hoping to find getting some answers or find out maybe if they she can provide a little information on the crime, but they're under no obligation to tell the mother anything about what's going on with her son. Given that he is an adult now. Even though he got special needs. So, we aren't aware of anything like that. Is he diagnosed with anything in particular? He's He's got a lot of medical issues. That's why I was trying to figure out what's going on. Okay, medical issues are not special needs. So, um yeah. And has he been aggressive or is he pretty calm? He He's kind of been a little up and down. We're curious uh if there's maybe something mental health related or if he consumed something that's making him act She received a call, but she isn't going to come and get him and take him to the hospital to see what's going on. You said you got a text message earlier. They said he wasn't acting right. >> No, somebody called me. Called you? Who called you? My cousin called me. For now, he is in custody. My cousin necessarily mean that he was involved in whatever is going on. So, at this point Okay, look at that. This is the problem. The mom sitting there right now. Now, that doesn't mean he was involved. This is the problem. Moms like this who don't want to accept the fact that their son is a criminal, that he went in, sprayed pepper spray, stole, beat the other clerk up. Um and already trying to cover for him. Why doesn't she just listen to what they have on him? I mean, we do have enough probable cause to charge him. And what is that? Um So, >> You don't have to tell her. You're mom, I'm going to tell you. Um he's being charged with robbery right now. I don't know if there's any additional charges on top of that. >> Assault. responded there. I came here. He was kind of acting out a little bit before we got him calmed down. We had to essentially restrain his legs so that he's not kicking. So, he was trying to kick our guys. He was trying to fight. We took control those so he's not hurting us or using them to hurt himself or, you know, kicking the wall, kicking the bench, whatever. Um causing damage to himself. Um but I will pass along that information. In the end, the 18-year-old was charged with felony robbery with use of force, using oleoresin device with harm times two, battery threat to an officer times two. Oleoresin device. Oleoresin is the pepper spray. And he sprayed two people, so he got charged with both of them. Misdemeanor resisting obstructing an officer, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct. So, like the um um the robbery with force, that's probably, I don't know what it is in Wisconsin. Here it would be class three, probably class two felony. Murder's class one. So, it's a pretty serious charge. >> And his cash bond was set at $20,000. Yeah, come on. Come on. $20,000, you you robbed a store, pepper sprayed, fought with the cops. That should be like 50,000 to 100,000 at least. >> Eventually, he was found guilty of one count of using an oleoresin device with harm and disorderly conduct. The remaining charges were dismissed on the prosecutor's motion. According to the report, the second suspect had not been identified and there's no indication that they were later arrested. Ultimately, the 18-year-old sentence was withheld and he was given 1 year of probation. >> [music] >> Uh Found guilty of spraying the pepper spray and disorderly conduct. Dropped all the other serious charges, the the resisting arrest, assault on a law enforcement officer. Dropped those charges. That's the prosecutors for you. And then in the end his sentence was withheld, which means that he didn't get anything. Just got probation. That's it. No jail time. 1 year probation. Pathetic. Pathetic prosecutors. Uh [groaning] This is why these guys go do this. This is why they go commit crimes like this because nobody holds them accountable. This is what the problem is. I don't know what the reason is. I don't really frankly, I don't think most of us care whether he's got It's not even mental health. It's never been accountable. And so now all of a sudden that behavior is permeating is We're dealing with it in society because he wasn't held accountable and his mom like you know, you saw how she kind of already started to cover for him. Well, it doesn't necessarily mean he was involved. So, anyway, I don't know, man. These Sometimes they just drive me crazy. Let me know what you think. Are you as frustrated as I am some with these prosecutors and just with the failure of law of the Um half of law the justice system. We're doing our job. The other half seems to be letting everybody back out or not holding people accountable only for us to deal with them again in law enforcement. Let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. And um we'll catch you on the next video.
