Come in here. >> 47. He has pushed the car out of the way. All right, everybody. Welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from Code Blue Cam. How a 100 mph police chase ended in 5 seconds. Let's go. driver. That's a >> By the way, that first camera video, Angler, you saw, I haven't seen the video, but I saw that it was Sheriff Walshmidt. And that is the sheriff. That is absolutely a sheriff. My kind of guy out there with this guys on a on a case like this. >> Do it now. >> DeAndre, you got a warrant. Step out. When deputies get a tip about a wanted felon driving through the area, they think they've got him, but they have no idea just how far he's willing to go to avoid being caught. >> He's taking off. Taking off in the vehicle, but he's going to be able to get all pushed with the squad car. That's damage. That's called criminal damage to property. I back the blue. I back the bags. But y'all don't listen when somebody asks you to do something. >> On the afternoon of Friday. >> I don't know what's going on here. >> 2024, multiple FondeLac County deputies respond to a flock alert for a wanted felon with multiple warrants. >> So a flock alert, there's these flock cameras that are LPRs, license plate readers. They put them on intersections. And what it will alert you to is if a vehicle has a a stolen or uh expired plates. In this particular case, if there's a vehicle that belongs to a driver who's got a warrant, it'll notify you of that. So, this is what they're getting. They're getting a notification that a wanted subject has been hit on the flock camera, >> including battery, firearms, drug possession, trespassing, and disorderly conduct. The suspect sounds like a real peach. >> Ultima through residential neighborhoods, speeding and blowing past traffic signs. The suspect is identified as 33-year-old DeAndre Bradshaw, who is known to be armed and dangerous and has a history of being involved in high-speed pursuits with Dne County deputies and escaping. As he pulls into a restaurant parking lot, deputies move in to get him to surrender. Driver, exit the vehicle with your hands up. >> Exit the vehicle with your hands up. Do it now. >> I love that he has his rifle out. Okay. I always talk about, you know what your pistol's for? To get you back to your rifle. It is a far superior weapon. Love that he has his rifle out. >> Hey, get out of the way, sir. Get out of the way. Step out of the car, sir. >> 60. We got a hot stop behind Papa John's. >> Step out of the vehicle. Step out of the vehicle away from us. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> Step out of the vehicle facing away from us. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> DeAndre, you got a warrant. Step out. >> Open the door from the outside and step out of the vehicle. >> If you're not DeAndre, then get out. All right, just listen to us. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> Roll the window. He rolled the window back up. >> He rolled the window back up. >> And show us your hands. Do it slowly. >> So that's the sheriff's point of view. So the sheriff's there on the scene. >> But that assumption couldn't be more wrong. And it becomes clear almost immediately that DeAndre has no intention of surrendering, even if it means causing more damage along the way. He's taking off. He's taking off in the vehicle, but I don't think he's going to be able to get out. >> Oh. Oh, man. 47. He just pushed the car out of the way. pushing cars out of the way with his car to get home. >> He's just driving out there in the landscape. coming out. >> Oh, how did he make it through that? Coming out on the arms. Going westbound. Westbound. Arms. So dangerous. But you know, you got to do it. 47 to Peter. Speed 73 mph. We're going to be going south on southbound Peters. >> Looks fairly light traffic, so not too bad. Right. >> Continue to talk about Peter's pass. Old 1050 speed 78 mph. >> Oh. Oh, >> he hit a car by 111. >> Oh, his tire came out. He broke busted that front tire. >> Leave the dog. Let the dog win. >> Oh, please let the dog loose. S >> grass. To the grass. >> Headed towards pick and save. Headed towards pick and save. >> Let me send the dog. Look out. >> Kill the [screaming] ground. Car pursuit. Foot pursuit. Tase him. Go. Bam. >> Yes. >> Man, he deserved that. >> Do not move. You're going to get bit by a dog. Do you understand? >> Oh, dang it. I wish the dog the dog's wishing he could have got a piece of it, too. >> Start a toe >> and also start an ambulance full subject. He was tased. >> Now, that was a good tase. So when you tase somebody, it's based on like muscle density and really that's where it affects the most. That's why when you see people get tased in the front, they're oftentimes able to pull because maybe they carry more weight in the front. Um, but when you get tased in the back, that's your most muscly part and boom, people will drop. And you saw how he just dropped. >> Stop talking. >> Good. You good, Winston? Oh, dang. Dog. Dog was good. >> Should just let the dog chase him. >> I ain't buying that. >> I know exactly who you are. >> All right, ma'am. Are you okay? >> Yeah, I am. Just >> All right. Sorry for the excitement. Can I have you just back up and then turn around? Go the other way. >> All right. Thank you. >> Thank you. [laughter] >> She had a front row seat to it. My name County, bud. >> Who is this? My name Michael. Who it is? It's my name is Michael. If that if you're going to lie, it's my name is Michael. And who might that be or who is that? But not who it is. >> Who y'all looking for? >> I got my squad right here. >> Who y'all looking for? >> You. Who's [laughter] a wife? All right. >> Who told you to sit on your butt? We're go up to the slide. Okay. Ready? >> One, two, three. Right back here. >> Got him. >> My butt. >> Saw your tattoo. >> So, if somebody's wanted in jail, uh, or if somebody's been to jail, we document their tattoos. or if they're a street gang member and we're used to dealing with them. You'll document tattoos so that you can identify them. If they by do this lie about who they are and so we can look and see if they have a certain tattoo in a certain place, that's who they are. >> Hey, what happened? >> Let's get one more good search. Put it against the wall here. >> You said you seen my butt. >> Oh, he's not seen your tattoo. >> Why you seen my tattoo? Like what you talking about? Open this leg this way. >> All right. >> All right. Hop in right here. >> Get in the car. >> Wait. Wait. >> Get in the car. >> Get in the car. >> Shove them in the car. >> Damn, man. >> Give me my keys, bro. >> What you talking? >> Hey, what happened? >> Get in the car. What? I don't need no >> You're under arrest. >> Who is that? Who y'all looking for? in the car. Dude, >> at this point, it doesn't matter who they're looking for. You were running from the cops. You You crashed into a vehicle, then you got into a foot pursuit. At this point, brother, it don't matter. It doesn't matter. I should use proper English, too. Right. >> What? What did I do? >> BOOST UP YOUR LEG, DUDE. >> OH, NO. HEY, hold on. Let me >> Bro, >> you're perfectly okay to deliver some strikes to his leg to gain compliance. I know he's in handcuffs. You're not you're not you're just trying to get him in the car. So, if you had to hit, you know, a a certain part or pain uh compliance, you know, technique, you can use maybe under the jaw or a few other places to try to get uh pain compliance to get him to put his leg in. >> Bro, bend your leg. >> Bend your leg, bro. >> BEND YOUR LEG. >> BEND YOUR LEG. [screaming] >> You're not telling me nothing. >> Y'all not tell me nothing. My foot in the door. >> Get your foot out of the door so it's sl. >> With DeAndre finally in custody, deputies start taking stock of the damage he caused. Some still trying to wrap their heads around the moves he pulled along the way. But DeAndre isn't done yet, and neither are the witnesses in the area who have taken an issue with the deputy's methods. >> Oh jeez. Told him to wait for the dog, man. Come on, dude. He's bailing right in the middle of the grass. That was perfect. >> Which car is this? >> Uh, Royson's drive. >> I don't know. I think that whole front end is screwed. >> Nope. The whole front axle snapped. >> What's that? What? >> Oh, dude. You kill me, man. >> I'm sorry. I saw him running and I was like, "Dude, come on. Wait." [groaning] >> Doesn't happen all the time. So, we would get into a lot of pursuits down where we were with a lot of the smugglers, people smuggling or drugs or humans into the country. We'd get a lot of pursuits. >> I'll sniff it in a second here. Just push it out of the way. >> What's up? >> Oh my gosh. Now we got these people showing up. should have stopped. >> Same thing. I seen the same thing. >> He should have stopped. He pushed vehicles out of the way. >> He got into He got into a pursuit. >> Don't even explain to him. >> That's all right. >> There you go. >> What the hell with these neighbors? We need 30 units to go to. >> Here's the thing. They come out. They don't even know what happened. They don't know what led up to it. They don't know who he is. They don't know he has warrants. They don't know any of that. They decide they want to come up and chime in and armchair quarterback how these guys did their job. Which, by the way, from what I've seen up until this point, I thought they handled it very well. They could have been much more aggressive and they handled it very well. >> What? >> Where do you need him? >> Um, yeah. So, Papa John's, there was a vehicle that was pushed out of the way in the back lot there. I think he was unoccupied, but just go verify. >> You got hit, too. >> You did? Right here. >> Yeah. >> Are you guys okay? >> Yeah, I'm good. >> There's just you? >> Uh, I think Yeah, he just [ __ ] right. >> Jeez. How many cars did he hit? >> I was right behind him whenever that happened. Um, he was obviously at fault. So, I'm trying to calm down here a little bit. >> Yeah, me too. I just [ __ ] I see him coming right up behind me. I was trying to get out. >> We have a couple crashes here. I don't know if you want to help with that. So, pursu. Sorry. >> So, a lot of times you'll have the state trooper come out or somebody else come out and take the accident reports to help out. Also, it keeps a third party. So, um, it helps for the investigation on the other side, insurance claims, all that junk. >> Good. You all right? >> Yeah. I just >> You good? >> Yeah. I hope I'm rolling. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Man, I was so close. >> I know. I'm like, there's no way he's getting out of this back parking lot. I am rolling just 11 warrants. >> He's got 14 open cases. He's ran from Mass and PD three times. >> 11. >> Yeah. He's >> He just broke my door. >> Stop kicking. >> You >> pull him out. Pull him out. >> Come out here. Come out here. >> Come out here. >> Come out here. Hey, grab his backside. Don't let him fall way down. >> What happens? You don't hold him accountable. 14 open cases. 14. >> You're not going to kick. You're not going to kick. >> I'm waiting for the fire. >> Don't hold him. I'll check the Waiting for the wrong I'm the wrong person. >> The judges have the same mentality as these bystanders who are coming up and chiming in. >> Hey sir. Sir. Hey. >> Hey. Hey. >> You just need to relax here now. >> I know what you talking about. You >> I can't even understand what he's saying. >> Need to listen to these guys here. I figure out what's going on. >> I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't brea. >> All right. Just Hey, take deep breath. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. >> We'll get you OVER HERE. >> Stop crying. >> Take deep breaths. All right. >> I can't breathe. I can't breathe. >> I can't breathe. I can't breathe. >> I even on your back, bro. Take some big breaths. >> Calm down. Relax. I can't breathe, sir. >> Take some deep [laughter] breaths. >> He can breathe, but they're putting a um I don't know why I can't remember it, but they're putting a body thing on him, so it makes him feel claustrophobic, which makes him think he can't breathe, but he can. All right. Hey, just stop talking. Focus on breathing. >> Focus on breathing. I CAN'T BREATHE. [screaming] >> I CAN'T BREATHE. I can't breathe. >> We're going to sit you up here in a second, buddy. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can breathe. Man, what do they call those things? >> What is that? It's >> called the rat. >> The rap. >> The guy answered my question for me. [laughter] He's like, it's called a rap. >> I can't breathe. >> This is so they don't hurt themselves. And this is so they don't damage any more stuff. >> I can't breathe. >> Oh, wait. >> Did you take anything? >> We'll take ambulance at our location. >> Deep breaths. >> Take some big breaths. >> Keep breathing. >> Did you squirt out the west side behind Papa John's? >> He pushed cars out of the way. >> Like employees parked cars back there. >> God damn it. Yeah. Hey, [clears throat] just stop talking and breathe. >> Oh, that's how you feel because >> it's more reports. >> With DeAndre finally in restraints and loaded into an ambulance to be checked out, some deputies turn their attention to his car. But when they decide to move it before searching, that simple maneuver sparks a whole new round of arguments with nearby witnesses. >> Need to tone it down. >> It's more public space, right? >> Yeah, but you can't be disorderly. You can't be yelling, swearing, cussing. >> Are you with him? >> Am I with him? No, they're >> What's your name? >> They're with him. I'm >> Don't answer it. >> Oh, there you go. Sheriff's taking a handle. >> What y'all y'all need this? And we just watched it. >> Which, by the way, I would answer those questions cuz I'm the sheriff. I would go up and answer those questions and see what they have and diffuse it. I've done this many of times with on scenes with my guys where I show up and and talk to the people on scene. Y'all push his car with the squad car after he's over here. >> This is what happened. >> He has >> like a dozen warrants. He's been involved in multiple high-speed chases. >> He got Hang on a minute. I'm explaining. >> We got him boxed in on a traffic stop behind Papa John's. He smashed through cars. There was a line of cars. Smashed through through. >> Imagine having nothing to do in your life. You have so much time on your hands that you're going to pull over and engage in something you don't even know about and start complaining to the police about it. Imagine having that kind of time on your hands. >> Push them out of the way with his car. Put people at risk in that parking lot smashing his car through. >> I guess I do cuz I'm sitting here doing these videos, right, Dane? [laughter] But I do it for you. their cars and then got in a high-speed pursuit to here >> and then he you ran over here and then y'all moved his car after he was in the back of that squad. >> Yes. >> I just watched y'all pushed with the squad car. That's damage. That's called criminal damage to property. If I if I move a car with my car because something else is in the way. >> This is what he's mad about. And it is not his concern. He is not neither the owner of the vehicle or anything. He has nothing to do with it. He just he can voice his opinion, but no answers need to be given to the guy because he's not part of this scene. >> Concern. That's his concern. >> Citizen's concern, >> sir. We have an obligation to open a roadway, too. All right. >> Oh, open a roadway. Who can come through here? Open a roadway for who? The the the paramedics that had to run over here. >> We're going to get it open for Yeah. when the fire comes. >> Come on, man. Who is Come on. >> Look, is he at least good in the squad car? >> Well, he's still being non-compliant. Could you you could hear him probably kicking and screaming and banging and knocking around. >> I sure hope these people had the same concern for the victims of his crimes. The cars he crashed into all the other people. They're more concerned. They don't even apparently have no concern for that. >> What's that? >> Can you stop inching up? >> No, I can keep I'm talking to you. >> See? See? But if I inch up on you, it's different. You tell me to back up and she asked you politely to back up. >> No. And you 15 ft between us. >> And literally, I was right there when the conversation started. >> If you want to leave, you're welcome to leave. If you want to leave, you're welcome to leave. >> That badge and you act like you're something special. Like the law don't apply to y'all. >> I'm just nosy. I want to see what it was. >> I got my camera rolling, too. >> Like you act like the badge don't apply to y'all, but if you ask us to back up and we don't, we get taken to the ground and put in cuffs. >> That's just for everybody. >> Have I yelled once at you? You >> Because I watched what you ALL JUST DID TO THAT MAN. Doesn't matter if he had a warrant. He made mistakes. Congratulations. Y'all just made a mistake down there. Cuz if I do that, that's criminal damage property. If I do this [ __ ] over here, if I walk up on you when you tell me to back the [ __ ] up, that's a mistake on me. You're still doing it. >> The only person here because it's [ __ ] It's [ __ ] I back THE BLUE. I BACK the back. But y'all don't >> No, no, no, no. The behavior here says completely otherwise. Don't tell me you back the blue. Your behavior says otherwise. Somebody asked you to do something. >> Maybe if you would have seen how he was acting in the beginning, putting so many people at risk. >> You act you act backwards in the beginning. You've never had a a a sit. See, you're still doing it. You're still doing it. That's that powder chest. That's nothing but dust. >> It's nothing but a uniform and meta. >> Have a good better afternoon. He's good. We're We got in an ambulance, but we're trying to get That's part of why we're Yeah, >> I'm good. I just fatally injured. >> We all know how it is when it comes to a black male. >> Oh, no, we don't. >> We our actions are based on the actions of others. It doesn't >> The man had 14 open cases, 11 active warrants, >> not based on their race, not based on how old they are, not based if they're a man or a woman. >> Exactly. >> It's all based on their actions. >> We got them help. I mean, as soon as the crash occurred, we got the ambulance here. I got EMS. >> I'm talking to you respectful. I ain't gonna say >> Oh, I appreciate that. This is how conversation should go. >> I was just obviously I want no part of what he had going on. >> Just want to make sure >> I'm not going to get my ass. >> Nobody there to help you. Everybody's all right. >> We're all >> It's all good. That's like I said, we got as soon as >> Good job, sheriff. >> We got an ambulance on the way. >> What actually happened? Like some some guy just like flying through here or something? >> He's got a bunch of warrants. He's been on the run for a long time. Been in chases with multiple agencies. We made a traffic stop on him behind Papa John's. And he >> behind there you can't get out, right? I mean, it's one way. It's just Okay. So, you know what that little parking lot >> he drove during the course of the stop. He didn't follow orders, rolled the window up, accelerated to the other end of the parking lot, and then smashed through cars and then squeezed out onto what is it? Butler and Arn Street back there or that is Butler on uh Arn Street and then uh and then the chase was on. He's putting all kinds of people at risk. Like I said, this started far away from here and his his conduct. >> It started all the way in Art, didn't it? >> Or further >> um on Butler behind um >> these nosy Nellies, man. Kudos to the sheriff for explaining it, which I thought he didn't have to, but he did, which was very good of him. And this guy gets it. This lady, I don't know. And then the other guy, he's just an idiot. I'm glad he left. >> Um, Papa John's over there. >> Well, I guess I'll get out of your hair. I appreciate your time. Have a good night. What's going on? >> Well, at least he's okay. >> Yeah. Just make sure everybody stays safe. >> We all wear body cameras, so I mean, anything that happened is all recorded. It's all on the up and up. This isn't >> cool. Well, You guys uh have a good rest of your night. >> You too. Stay safe out there. >> All right. Take care. >> He's hot. >> With the scene almost winding down, deputies proceed to search DeAndre's car. And what they find inside probably doesn't surprise them at all. >> So now you're going to do a >> So they have the right to do an inventory of the vehicle. you don't have to get a search warrant. Um, but they're going to do a K9 sniff, which if the K9 hits on anything, that would give them probable cause to then go in and do an official search on the vehicle. So, let's see what happens. >> That was perfect. I see him running. I'm like, "Oh, here it is." Pretty good work right there. >> Oh, really? So good. >> The dog got a hit passenger side. >> Now they have the make sure >> probable cause of search vehicle. >> We're very detailed. >> What was this guy over here? Was he just pissed at >> Yeah. >> I don't know what he was pissed that we pushed the car out of the road and then it was >> Is it his car? >> No, [laughter] >> exactly. >> Yeah. What his gripe was? >> He was screaming. >> Yeah, he was screaming. I just popped Winston was on foot. I'm like, I know how to do this. >> I in the car and popped the curb and went the whole way. >> Well, it it kind of worked out nice. So, I cut him off in front here. He kind of sees me and then he looks back and sees Berky and I don't know if Berky was getting ripped out or something or if he saw a canine cuz all of a sudden he like kind of starts like >> which by the way, this is how it goes, man. We just we kind of recap the what what happened and the chases don't happen every day. Hey, the tasers, you know, people getting tased. Don't happen every day. >> And then I hear I'm getting on my car and I hear the the taser pop of just out of this. I'm like, he's going to go to the other end of the parking lot. He blocked in and all of a sudden [clears throat] he smashed. >> That's the sheriff. >> Oh boy. >> We were We were on him. >> Several pursuits already. >> Yeah. >> Nope. [laughter] >> Got you. So he had Trojans. That was the first thing that he grabbed out of there. >> It's probably in this box. You can smell a ton of weed. It's like fresh, too. There's a There's really >> Turn that stupid [laughter] enjoy it. >> Reeks like fresh back here. Like I don't know if it's underneath something, but >> anyone check? >> No, not yet. Deputies eventually found a clear plastic baggie with green leafy substance in the center console of the car that >> that's how we explain it. They found a clear plastic baggie with a green leafy substance which later tested positive for marijuana. >> Tested positive for mar. After being medically cleared, DeAndre was transported to jail. But his complaints didn't stop during the ride, only raising more suspicion from the deputy. >> What's your problem with me? But you like there's no other choice. >> I I know, but I'm just saying we was like I'm I'm I don't got on no shoes. >> No other way. >> I'm just saying we could have waited until he got up in there. You you you pit me in like like like I'm I'm cold all over again. I'm I'm I'm hot in a [ __ ] >> You want down or >> is that a tattoo on his face? >> You said you're hot. >> I said I'm cold in a [ __ ] I ain't said I'm hot in a [ __ ] I said yeah. I said I'm hot. Like man >> look I can't understand what he's saying. I'm proficient in the English language. I can't understand what he's saying either. >> The least you can do it. Like even I have a heart, dog. Like you ain't even You ain't even did that. >> Huh? Be a horrible lady for no reason. >> Oh, this is your phone. Hey, we got your phone. >> Who smashed my phone? >> I didn't smash it. >> I'll be able to get my numbers up out of there. >> Your what? >> Would I be able to get phone numbers out of there or No, >> that's up to the jail staff. >> The who? >> That's up to the jail staff. Usually let you write them down on a piece of paper. Yeah, that's what I said. Yeah, >> but I I don't control it. That's up to them. You're going to be cooperative in the uh booking area, >> man. I've been being cooperative with you and you've been you've been you've been on bull with me, man. >> I haven't put on that much. You just keep saying you're not young, which maybe you are. I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. >> You going to say, [music] >> you said what? >> You got stuff in your ass or what? >> He said what? >> You got dope. >> Uh-oh. He's got something in his prison pocket. your butt or what? >> Yeah. >> So, do you have dope your ass or what? >> What you talking about? >> Are you reaching around back there? >> No, I'm not. Then you you driving crazy like what? YOU FLANKING ME ALL AROUND THIS mother sticking some my ass, man. You not even making no sense. >> Usually people when they're moving like that, they're hiding stuff, >> man. >> How things look cuz you probably already dipped it at the hospital. But >> I probably would have what? >> Dipped at the hospital if you did have it. >> Oh my god. Ultimately, DeAndre Bradsho is charged with felony fleeing eluding an officer causing property damage. First degree endangering safety times two [music] bail jumping times seven. Misdemeanor hit and run resisting obstructing an officer. Possession of THC. >> Dang. So, fleeing eluding, bell jumping times seven cuz the judges keep letting him out. Hit and run, resisting, obstructing officer possession. He also received nearly $5,000 in traffic citations, including one for operating with a restricted controlled substance, first offense. And his cash bond was set at $500,000. Dang. Now, now we're talking. Now we're talking. 500,000. The guy can't keep getting out and victimizing other people. He eventually pleaded guilty due to a no contest plea of fleeing, eluding an officer, two counts of bail jumping, and operating with a restricted controlled substance. All remaining charges and citations were dismissed. Ultimately, DeAndre was sentenced to 5 years in state prison followed by 5 years of extended supervision. All right. Well, look, half the time they let these guys go and and and it's normal to let some of the charges go so that they can get them to take a plea agreement, save the taxpayer a ton of money, going to trial, get the case resolved. And so that is normal. In this particular case, that's what they did. It looks like they dropped a few of the charges, but they had enough to stick on to give him five years. I think he deserved more based on the time he's had and just how reckless he was. Um, but at least he, you know, at least he got five years and then five years hopefully intensive supervision where half the time they mess up anyway and end up back in prison. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. How did these guys do? I thought they did great. And kudos to you, Sheriff, for handling these bystanders who really had no business being there at the at the scene. They weren't involved in it. They're welcome to monitor it, u but they were getting far too agitated. At least the one guy was. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. I'll catch you on the next video.
