They would they they fled from us twice. >> Did they crash the car? >> They did. >> They crashed >> They crashed it. Yeah. >> Where is it? >> It's right where that white car is over there. They hit the snowbank. >> All right, everybody. Welcome back to another Friday with Janelle. And once again, we have Dayton filling in. >> Yep, I'm back again. >> And what do we got for french fries today? >> So, there's this local place in Queen Creek, Arizona called Seven Brothers. >> I think they got them in Utah in a few places. Got a Hawaiian flare. But we got fries today. We got home fries. And then we got these things called Paniolo fries. Paniolo is cowboy in Hawaiian. It's got an onion ring. It's got pineapple. It's got caramelized onions, bacon, bunch other junk. Looks delicious. We're going to need forks for that. >> Yeah. Um a little fun fact, he is from Hawaii. >> That's right. >> Many of you know that. >> I am from Hawaii. Born and raised on the Big Island. All right. And for a video, we got one from Code Blue Cam. And it is the it the instant moment of regret. Haven't seen it? Let's go. >> On the afternoon of January 15th, 2025, while conducting a routine patrol, an officer witnessed a vehicle commit a traffic violation directly in front of him in the village of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The driver was identified as 24-year-old Desmond Ballatinetts, accompanied by his 26-year-old passenger, Lawrence Crittenden Quinn, both from the Chicago area. However, it soon came >> They look up like like upstanding citizens. >> Yeah. Look like some >> Yeah. >> real scholars. >> Like they go to church on Sunday. >> Yeah. >> Real boy scouts. >> to light that one of them also had an outstanding warrant out of Illinois for robbery. The officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but it appeared Desmond had other intentions. >> Shocker. Going to run. >> 10-30, 10-80. 10-80, pet seat. 116. Spring Grove speed about 100. >> Dang, 100. >> Dry roads. >> In the cold? >> I know. I'd be afraid of some black ice. >> Yeah. >> That you hit that, bam. >> Center you're coming up to Green Bay Road 21 Southbound Green Bay. Down the wrong way. Wrong way on Green Bay Southbound. >> I need a reason for the stop. I'm not sure if you're trying to go Southbound Green Bay. >> Reason for the stop is the plates are on the wrong vehicle. Coming up to what Illinois right now. >> The officer ultimately terminated the pursuit, losing sight of the vehicle as it continued to illegally pass other cars while crossing into Illinois. >> Center ready. I'm going to terminate. Vehicle is continuing Southbound. Driver is a male black in his 30s. Just continuing on South through uh uh 173 and then I'll turn around just to make sure it doesn't wreck. >> Hey work, can we get the Cherokee 223? >> Looks like the vehicle is still passing other cars in the center area. There's actually no lane. And continuing South past 173, still Southbound 31. >> So when you terminate a pursuit, typically what you'll do is you turn off your lights. And a lot of times you'll either slow down to the to where you're not even pursuing them or even pushing them anymore, maybe pull over, sometimes even turn around. So if something bad happens, you can say I terminated the pursuit, I turned around. Um but he did give out a good description for anybody else that's looking for him. >> But almost 2 hours later, the two decided to come back through the area. While the police were clearing a three-vehicle crash at an intersection, they received a Flock hit on the suspect vehicle that had fled earlier. >> All right, Flock. Do you know what Flock is? >> Flock cameras are controversial and they are basically reading license plates >> Mhm. >> probably in your local city. >> So, they are a camera and an LPR, a license plate reader. Often times on intersections in public you have no expectation of privacy in public, but there is a lot of controversy as to whether or not this is starting to encroach on our rights as citizens. But, a Flock camera, we've caught murders, we've caught stolen vehicles, a lot of things with Flock cameras cuz it will give you the information like that. Flock gave them a hit and told them which direction the vehicle was going. >> The vehicle was soon located and another pursuit ensued. >> Oh, jeez. This is why you got to stop these people. >> All right, it's coming northbound. But, with your guys' accident, I'm going to try not to pursue it too far here. >> Officers ahead were notified of the incoming pursuit and they quickly cleared the roadway to avoid any hazards from the approaching suspect vehicle. >> It's coming at you guys. Heads up. Heads up. >> All right, we got a K9. >> All right, it's running northbound. We need to notify the city with it. >> Dang, on that snowy shoulder. >> These are 50. He's taking the ditch. I think he's going to wipe out soon. >> Oh. >> You really didn't want to get caught, you should not have come back >> [laughter] >> to the town that you were just in a pursuit in. >> Idiot. >> He's slowing down. Stopping cuz traffic doesn't know how to yield. >> He's like, I'm stopping cuz traffic doesn't know how to yield. That's for sure. >> I'll call it out. Coming up to 91st, still northbound. >> Okay, did you hear that guy say I'll call it out. We've talked about this before. When you have a pursuit, you want the guy that's the primary, if when and if and when available, let the secondary call out the pursuit because that way the primary can focus on the actually pursuing the vehicle. So, the secondary says, I'll call out the pursuit, which means he's going to call out speeds and locations. >> Traffic at this point is light. >> Okay, see those people know how to pull over. >> Signaling to go northbound 22nd Ave. >> Doing a good job, nice and calm. >> Passing cars. Just north of 89. Speeds right now are about 80. Traffic is yielding. It's coming up to 85. >> they haven't terminated it. >> soon lost control while attempting to turn into a parking lot and crashed into a parked car. >> Surprise, surprise. >> Doing an apartment here, crash. >> He's found in the apartment complex. >> Both suspects then ran for their lives until K9 Chase was set free. >> Yes. >> You going to get bit? >> Go blue, get him. >> GO, GO. CHASE, STALIN, STALIN. >> THAT GUY WANTED NO PART OF the dog. >> He saw the dog and he was out. >> You better get on THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. >> YES. BUSTED. >> STAY ON THE GROUND. CHASE YOU. STAY STILL. >> [laughter] >> LET HIM EAT. LET HIM EAT. >> YOUR STOMACH >> OH. >> I got one detained. >> I'm on my stomach. >> DO NOT FIGHT. STAY RIGHT THERE. >> IS BITING ME. >> I got dog on somebody. I need help over here. >> Tell the dog release, please. >> Not till you start to cooperate. Stay still. >> Okay, I'm still. >> Do not move. You understand me? Stand up. >> I can't. I need help. I'm hurt. >> Get up. Your other guy is getting chewed up by the dog right now. So, I need to get over there to help him. >> [laughter] >> Good boy, Chase. Good boy. >> Good boy, Chase. Isn't that the name of the dog on the Paw Patrol? >> That is the Paw Patrol dog, the main one, I think. >> This is a real life Paw Patrol dog. >> [laughter] >> I will. Chill out. Ouch. Good boys. Down. Do not move. You'll get bit again in a second. You understand? >> Yeah, no doubt. >> exited the apartment complex and identified Desmond as her boyfriend, confirming that the vehicle he had been driving belonged to her. >> Well, then Why is the wrong license plate for her? That's a question for her, too. >> That is a good point. >> Also, you can't even get in a police chase in your own car. >> At least do it in your own car. >> Don't do it in somebody else's car. >> Cuz that thing is getting towed. >> Fo, I don't know, fo. >> He got him. He's got him with the dog. >> She's like, "What happened?" He's like, "I don't know. Oh, I only got into two pursuits. >> These cops just came out of nowhere. We weren't doing nothing. >> These cops been just chasing us for no reason. And uh I don't know. Criminals, man. The stupidity and the gall, both of them. >> Stay right there. He will bite you again. >> I will not move, sir. >> I need to >> I will not move. I'm telling you right now dogs gained some good compliance. >> Code four, code four. Working a 10-1 detain guy dog bite rural rescue. >> I don't even got my phone. >> Where's my car? >> He's cooperating. Get against the >> She doesn't care about anything. She's like where's my car? >> Yeah, what did these idiots do? >> That probably be my my comment too, but >> the wall. >> My question. >> Get against the wall. >> Your car's getting towed, honey. >> Watch his hand. He's reaching. He's reaching his pocket. Don't You stay >> Look at him. He's like HOLD STILL, MAN. >> OKAY, WELL, DON'T BE REACHING FOR >> I'M NOT REACHING >> Go ahead, cuff him up. >> GOOD BOY, CHASE. >> YEAH, YOU'RE GOING TO GET CHECKED OUT, BUT LET ME GET YOU IN CUSTODY FIRST, OKAY? YEAH, one second, bro. Hold on. One thing at a time, bro. You decide to run, this is what happens. >> I don't have a driver's license. >> Dude, you don't run from the police. >> I got my car right there. She need her house keys? >> Just relax, dude. Hey, just relax. You want to help him up, Captain? We'll get you up, bro. >> I was trying to get her to her interview. >> Yeah, okay. >> Put your knees up. There you go. >> Good boy, Chase. >> GET YOUR KNEE DOWN. >> HEY, I'M SCARED. >> GAINER, who got bit? >> Uh, the other guy. >> Okay. 207 PD, where are at those yellow orange brick apartments on the east side of 22nd Avenue just south of 85th? Bend your right leg. Bend it in. He's going to push you up so you can get on your feet. >> I'll get it. >> The dog wants a piece of him so bad. Again. >> I'll let him go first? >> No, I'll follow you. You're good. >> Hey man, we'll be with you in just one second. You can to early. >> Where's your car? >> I'm behind >> That guy looks like maybe a detective or something. >> We haven't shook him yet. >> And that's my car. >> We'll We'll get with you in a second, okay? Who is this? Is your boyfriend? >> Yeah, that's my boyfriend. >> Yeah, that's it. What's your name? Okay. >> I just need the keys cuz my baby >> Oh, no. We're towing that car. >> He fled from us twice. >> Did they crash the car? >> They did. >> They crashed >> They crashed it, yeah. >> Where is it? >> It's right where that white car is over there. They hit the snowbank. It looks okay. It looks okay. It don't look that bad. We'll get with you in a second. Thank you. Good boy, Chase. Good boy. I'm going to write to the front of >> Paw Patrol to the rescue. >> I should know about. >> I have uh weed in my pocket. >> Okay. >> Hey, at least he admitted he had weed in his pocket. I mean, it's the least of his problems right now. Then again, it's Illinois and Wisconsin. I don't know what they're even going to do anyway. >> I'm not hopeful about that. >> I'm not either. >> Illinois resident? >> What's that? >> I'm going to stay with him. He's just going to shake him for the first time. My car's in the other block. >> All right. I mean, I don't care if you're an Illinois resident. Still illegal in Wisconsin. >> 8320, you put the notes. We got second in custody. >> I've got more faith in Wisconsin than I do Illinois on this situation. >> All officers are code four. We just need rescue for one suspect for dog bite. >> Yeah, there's one car. Can you get her car keys, I mean, her house keys out the car? >> towing >> That's not a priority right right now, man. >> Oh, I'm good. >> I'm sorry. She shouldn't have let him have or use the car. There's some consequences on this one. That car is getting towed. It's for sure getting towed. >> That's a good boy. That's a good boy. >> I'm going to pull these up for you, okay? >> Okay, thank you. Hey, good boy. Got his toy. >> Sweeten. >> Uh, the left pocket. >> Your left? There it is. He saw that dog come out and wanted nothing to do with that. >> [laughter] >> Was the gate open and got him. Um >> This is showing a replay of the guy. He wanted nothing to do with the dog. He was doing everything he could to get away from him. >> I pretty sure the other I think the blue >> The blue guy >> Okay. Yeah. >> No, I didn't touch the car. >> [snorts] >> What's your first name? >> Huh? >> First name? >> Lawrence. >> Is that real or you >> When you ask them "What's your first name?" and they go "Huh?" And then you ask again and they go "Uh Lawrence." >> [laughter] >> Probably lying. >> You don't believe me? >> No, I don't believe you. I don't believe you. >> So Tamse, what's your last name? >> Grandy. >> Spread your feet for me. Anything in the jacket pockets? >> No. >> Any pockets inside the jacket? >> Yeah, but there's nothing in there. >> That's the >> Got a whole bunch of >> Sergeant. >> That's your car. >> Huh? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, I'm here. >> Yeah, I thought it was E when I when I got behind it. >> Okay, so this is the first officer who had the first pursuit. Um, and they're asking me this is the same car. >> The bracket and the salt. Thought it was E instead of F. >> Let me check the dash. I'm like 99% sure he was passing. >> So, the fact that he said he thought it was E versus F would lead to believe that maybe it is the right plate. That he might have put it in wrong >> Mhm. >> and I don't know, but if he thought if you had the wrong plate, it might have come back as not or it could have been a a plate for another a real plate number for some other car and maybe that's why. >> All right, we're going to have a seat. >> Doesn't matter, he ran from after that, so >> I can get the heat turned up for you. >> You get bit by the dog? Okay, we have an ambulance coming to check you out, okay? I just want to make sure I know where to tell them to go. >> Oh, he definitely hit the car. >> What's going on, man? >> Hit and run. >> You hurt? >> Yeah, yeah. >> Looks like not real good upstanding citizen there. >> Super bandit over that fence. Boom, the gate opened, right right in his arm and then This guy the second that dog came out, he was like >> Yeah, he gave up right there, but I was going after him. I pulled down this block and then all of a sudden you said I got a dog or something. >> You can't run from Paw Patrol. >> Screw it. >> I took all my stuff and threw it in the back seat to give that old lady a ride home, so all my stuff I don't have a cage at that point. I was going like you're coming you're coming with me. >> I was at 1870, I'm like, all right, okay. >> [laughter] >> I was hesitant, I lightened it up on Sheridan. I'm like we got the accident up there and second he saw our squads cuz whoever was behind me had their lights on just to get cars out. He like saw it and took off right away on them. Hey, they're coming. >> Dude, I thought for sure he was just going to come back south cuz I didn't think he could >> I didn't think they'd go north, either. And then I saw him make this turn, I'm like, what are you doing? It's a dead end. And I saw him both get out, look at us, and then they took off running. >> Were you rolling? >> Oh, yeah. >> Can't wait I can't wait >> Yeah, let me check the >> Send that to the Facebook. >> [snorts] >> If you can post that tonight. >> I don't know if this is him or not. I think that was the driver for when mine >> What's in your car? >> That's what we're pretty Both of us are almost 90% or 100% positive he jumped out of your The blue guy came out of the passenger seat, the one that got assaulted. We're going to review the video, but I'm pretty certain >> Who you guys got? >> I don't even know their names. I have to go back to the car. >> I don't know. I just went to the car. >> Nope. Blue guy was driving. >> Help. >> Blue guy was driving. This guy's driving. We got it backwards. What? Well, you're the driver. >> No. >> Well, okay. I just watched the camera. You got out of the driver's seat. >> No, this is the blue guy. >> Was it the blue guy? >> That's what you said. >> Yes. >> Well, you're both going to jail. You're getting the same charges as he's getting. Cuz blue was driving, right? >> Blue was driving, yeah. >> So, what happened? >> We found hard ID on him. >> No. She lives here. It's her car, her boyfriend. They were coming here. >> Okay. >> Does he have your car all day? >> No, we've been at the house majority of the day. And I was supposed to go to an interview, but then >> She got the midriff showing. >> I was cuz he was about to take the boy he's with um >> [crying] >> I think he's about to take him to the interview, too. >> Okay. Where was he? What about like around 12:30 or so? >> Um I believe that's when he was headed to his mom's house. >> Okay. Is that down in Illinois? Okay. What? Uh two counts of fleeing. Wow. You got to get found in You'll have court tomorrow. Find out uh what >> Possession of marijuana, two counts of fleeing, um What else? >> Sort of endangerment charge, maybe? >> A hit-and-run? >> Yeah, hit-and-run. >> Endangerment for the other dude? >> The judge gives you for a bond. >> So, what What's going to happen with my car? >> Well, >> And what's happen with him? >> His car got some damage on it, so they're going to do a crash report. He's being arrested for fleeing as well as >> They're both being arrested for fleeing? >> Well, at least at least your boyfriend, the driver. If you want to drive the car, it's your car, so it should looks like it could be drivable still. >> Did you check the glove box? >> Yeah. >> What the hell are you running for? >> Huh? >> What the hell are they running for then? >> I don't know. >> Stupid is as stupid does, right? >> Oh, there's a little bag of weed under here. >> She said that was hers. >> had the car around 12, 12:30 to go to her mom go to his mom's house. That would be the blue guy in blue. >> Yeah, he's dead. >> Yeah, he's like, "I saw that dog. Come on." I said, "Dude, that thing's way too big to run from." >> He got uh punctures on his arm. >> Yeah? >> Yeah. >> Good. >> [laughter] >> He's like, "He just punctures on his arm." Yeah, good. Yeah, I'm going to honestly, that's the consequences of running. Folks, actions have consequences, and until consequences are felt, most people's actions will not improve. >> Yep. >> In life, we make changes because the consequences of our decisions and actions were so painful that we don't want to go through it again. That's the purpose of this whole thing. That's what happens. That's what happens when you run. >> Yeah. >> Little baggy of weed underneath the passenger seat. >> The driver's got a warrant. >> Is that what he had on him? >> That was underneath the seat. >> I don't know if you'll be able to get it out cuz it's kind of probably a little stuck. >> All right. Nice. >> I can't really um >> Try to go over the curb. >> Yeah, they think they were going too fast when they were trying to turn in here. And then lost control, went through the snow here, and then hit that car. >> All right, what we got? As a result, Desmond, the driver, was charged with felony counts of vehicle fleeing eluding an officer times two, second-degree recklessly endangering safety times two. >> You got it, Deets. You nailed it. >> Misdemeanor counts of resisting, obstructing an officer, and possession of THC. Lawrence, the passenger, was only charged with misdemeanor resisting, obstructing an officer. Ultimately, Desmond was given a cash bond of $10,000. >> Pretty good for >> bond was set at $750. >> [music] >> I got to be honest with you. They got what they they deserved on this. Well, I thought they did a good job. They pursued him the first time. It just got a little dangerous going towards Illinois, so they terminated the pursuit. We always used to say this, bad guys will come back, >> [clears throat] >> and you'll catch them another day. And they they didn't even wait another day. They were back within a couple of hours and got into another pursuit, and now they got pulled over and uh the one got bit by the dog. Love it. Love to see the dogs cooking. >> Always good to see the canine action. >> And he got out there, did a good job, chased him down, paw patrol chase. Paw patrol chase chased him down. >> Yeah. >> And uh >> Do you think they learned their lesson? >> No. No. >> They'll be back at it. >> you they got a rap sheet already. I don't think they've learned their lesson. Um [clears throat] the gal with the car, unfortunately for her, car got beat up. I would have towed it. I would have towed it because they can get out. I mean, they might post bond and get out right away and then be back to driving it. Sometimes you got to create an you know, an inconvenience, and the car should get towed. And this is a lesson, don't let your boyfriend take your car. >> Yeah. >> Or else this kind of stuff happens. So, they were very nice to leave her the car. Um let me know what you would have done. I would love to know what you think on this. Did Did you enjoy seeing the dog bite as much as we did? >> Yeah. >> And what did you think of the fries? >> I thought they were amazing. They do a little bit of a unique, not your typical french fry, but >> potato wedge not a potato wedge. It's like a sliced potato fried really good and I had them the other night they were really crispy today not quite as crispy and then the paniolo with the pineapple and the onion ring and all that bacon and all that junk >> also very good >> very good >> definitely recommend if you have one of these around >> and their burgers are awesome too so seven brothers excellent video good video let us know what you think comment like subscribe did you love seeing these guys getting held accountable and they caught them the the bad guy at the end of the day so thank you everybody we'll catch you on the next video
