Hey, can you hop out? Yeah. 706 Ted. Hey, open your window. All right, everybody welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from Inspector Ted. Unhinged Karen turns simple traffic stop into three felony charges. Haven't seen it. Let's go. Hey, can you hop out? Yeah. Hey, open your window. Hop out. Stop. Hop out. HOP OUT. DUDE, NO. WHAT? Go [screaming] with me. Ow. DUDE, WHAT? GO WITH ME. OH. STOP IT. YOU'RE HURTING MY ARM. QUIT RESISTING. >> I'M NOT. QUIT RESISTING. On March 3rd, 2024, an officer from the Will County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop after locating a vehicle without a front windshield. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer was met with an outrageous woman who made it clear that this would not be a simple encounter. It's not a good start. All right, sheriffs. We got some sheriff's deputies here. Hey, how are you doing, miss? Hi. Hi, are you Carissa? Why? You got a warrant. I don't You got two, actually. What's the Yeah. Yep. So, can you hop out for me? Okay, so you may be wondering, how do they know that they have um a warrant? So, either he's made contact already with her. But, here's the more likely when if we run your plate and your plate comes back, it will tell us who the driver is. So, then you can then run the driver's name. And if it pops up, it'll pop up that they have warrants because when you get the plate, it will give you who the vehicle is registered to and it will give you their driver's license number. You can then put it in and it will tell you if they have warrants. That might be how they did this. >> Did you miss traffic or something? Miscoordinate? Yep. Hey, can you hop out? Yeah. 706 Ted. Hey, open your window. All right, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Like can you hop out? She just locked it up. Rolled up the window, locked it up. >> to break your window. Get out. The woman, 34-year-old Carissa Healan, had an active arrest warrant for failing to appear at a traffic court hearing. This time, she also made it clear that if it were up to her, this would not be an easy encounter. However, the officer would not tolerate her disruptive behavior, and she would soon receive a reality check that made it clear who the real authority at the scene was. Okay, you see the the white sticker stuff up there, which means that her car has been tagged before. So, that stuff's really hard to get off. So, maybe it was a parking ticket or abandoned vehicle or something, but she's already had something put on her vehicle. Sure. Hop out. Stop. Hop out. Don't touch me. Hop out. HOP OUT. DUDE, NO. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? COME ON. STOP. HOP OUT. WHY? BRO, LET GO [screaming] OF ME. WHAT THE [ __ ] 6, I'm 10-4. Can you roll me a second? I'm going to have She's got layers on layers on layers. >> Let go of me, dude. Out of the car. DUDE, LET GO. OH, KICKED HIM. ARE YOU OH, KICKED HIM A COUPLE TIMES. He's kicking me. GET OUT OF THE GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW. ARE YOU Are you Are you OH MY GOD. TAKE HER OUT. LET GO OF ME. LET GO OF ME. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? OH MY STILL HOLDING ON TO THE PHONE, THOUGH. DUDE, YOU'RE HURTING MY ARM. QUIT RESISTING. >> I'M NOT, YOU [ __ ] >> YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. QUIT RESISTING. [ __ ] YOU. DUDE, DUDE, LET GO OF ME. YEAH, I'll show you to My [ __ ] glasses, I can't see. It's really simple. If you just get of the car you don't get dragged out of the car like that. Look, she has a warrant, okay? So, she has to go to jail. There's nothing we can do about that. The court has said we want this person in front of us, which means they issue a warrant and there's nothing we can do. You got to go to jail and deal with the warrant at that point. At this point, Carissa's childish and shameful behavior was undeniable. She punched the officer believing she could overpower him. Unfortunately for the officers at the scene, her want-to-be tough behavior was far from over. Oh, you want to see it? >> I got a 604. Got a county I see I got 195. Bro, my glasses are going to break. She's a nasty little thing, isn't she? No, it was a stupid [ __ ] >> FIVE FELONY CHARGES. STOP. WELL, YOU DO. I'M TELLING YOU NOW. DON'T TOUCH ME. YOU GOT room for her in your car? Two seconds. Don't touch me. Me either. STOP. NO. STOP. WE HAVE THEM. STOP. STOP. I need to call someone for my [ __ ] Yeah, I'm good. I got a second car with me. She's in cuffs. No, why? So, they can hear every time he gets on the radio they can hear her screaming in the background. So, usually they'll they'll come back over and say um hey, are you okay? You know, you code four. And he's like, yeah, I'm code four. I got another unit out with me. Which the other unit looks like he's in a some type of traffic unit or some type of undercover car or um unmarked police car I should say. Like what the [ __ ] Well, you can worry about that later. No, dude. Give me my glasses. I will get them. You don't What the I'm really like What the [ __ ] That's crazy. You went from a traffic warrant to now you're getting aggravated I didn't battery to a PO. Yeah, you did. You punched me. I didn't punch you, dude. >> part about me having a body camera is it's going to see everything. >> doing that to me? Cuz you're under arrest. You're under arrest. I didn't know. They told her she can cry she can cry that she didn't know, but they told her that she had a warrant. Stop. You did know cuz I told you you're under arrest. Just stop. Please don't do that to me. No, you're you are. Dude, I didn't punch you. Oh, yeah, you did. Where? Right in the chest. For some reason they redacted a bunch of it. Oh, they redacted it because dispatch came over the radio and was giving information so they had to redact it. Well, you weren't getting them now. What? Can you stop talking [ __ ] You're See you. You're a young little Enjoy jail. I didn't say that. Listen, let me explain to you something, okay? What? Let me explain to Let me explain What, bro? Anything in your pockets? I'm going to be honest with you. I don't love traffic warrants because they don't show up for court which you got to go and get them, but you know, when it's a traffic warrant, let's say this was a traffic warrant. I don't know what it was, but let's say it was a traffic warrant. And now you're turning kind of normal people, which she's not really that normal, she's kind of a [ __ ] She just was not cool from the beginning, but it turns it into now she's a criminal. Now she's going to catch a felony charge for fighting against the cops, and so it kind of sometimes I've seen traffic citations where they don't show up for court precipitate into a much worse criminal situation. This may be one of those cases. One way or the other Thank you. Listen. You're going to welcome. You don't have to So Okay. Okay. Okay. Well, thank you. He doesn't have He doesn't have to let you call until you get to the jail. So if you start being decent, maybe he will. He didn't have [laughter] to let >> Okay. Okay. Okay. Well, just start being decent, okay? Despite her efforts, her aggression failed to free her from the situation, and she was now on a direct path toward the harsh consequences of her actions. I'm not doing you a single favor. I didn't ask you. >> Nothing. You're not calling no one nothing. You got a cage? Look, you may not like that, but he doesn't have to let her call anybody. There's no requirement that she gets to call anybody. And the way she behaved and the way she's been talking to him and fighting with him, he's like, "No, I'm not doing you a single favor. You're going to jail. No, you're not calling anybody." Couple her in there. No, I'm [ __ ] done with it. I didn't hurt you. Yeah, you did. What's your name? Come on. What's his name? It'll be on your felony arrest report. >> Felony? Yeah. Stop. >> Stop. You cannot. Please. >> Absolutely. >> No. You're probably going to catch like two or three of them. Stop. Please. Don't do that to me. Please. Please. I have kids. I mean, she did it to herself. And yeah, I mean, she has kids, but I mean, this is another reason. You got to think of when you behave in public, you've got to especially with authority, you should behave you should think about oh, I have kids. I should behave a certain way because I have a responsibility to take care of them and I can't afford to go to jail or whatever it is. Let that be your thought process, but clearly she didn't think about this. >> I didn't think you would. Please. Please. Please. What should I do? Now she changes her tune. I got camera on. I reached in and it was the fight was on. Throwing punches and everything else. Everything else, so I was in the [ __ ] traffic [ __ ] Yeah. So All right, let me uh toss her car real quick. She's on arrest, I'm just going to run him anyways. Um Dude, I'm good. I'll stay and help you with whatever you need. Yeah, no problem. So the car's going to get towed, but going to run the K9 around the car. See what's what they find. Sit. Sit. Sit. Sit. Find him. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. I I don't know. Every K9 hits a little different. He smells. So he sits, smells. So he's got something there. Yes. Come on. Aw, he got his toy. Good job, buddy. They want that toy so bad. Um they don't you know, look dogs really don't do they they're hard to somebody mentioned this on one of our other ones cuz they brought in one canine. The canine didn't hit. They brought in a second canine. And may you know, some people think that's unfair. Um and wondered why didn't the first dog hit and maybe they made the second dog that that's not how it really works. The dogs are going to hit or not hit. Um it's hard to you can't train them to do false positives. That's not the way they train them and they they would never last if that's what the case if they did that. Yeah, it's not a great day out here. Okay. The lady, I'm going to you want to help me process this? Let's see if she's got anything. I mean, her car looks like a tweaker car. She's got two [ __ ] warrants. I walk up, she's all good. All of a sudden she rolls the windows up, locks the [ __ ] doors. So, I'm like just get get out. Who cares, right? It's a traffic warrants. So, so she gets out. I'm not getting out. So, I go to grab her. She [ __ ] punches me and then I jump in her car and the [ __ ] fight is Thank you for putting it in [ __ ] park cuz I had pretty sure I was fighting her the whole time the car was in [ __ ] drive. >> to get the keys out. But it's a push button. In the end, Carissa was arrested for aggravated battery against a police officer and resisting arrest. She was also taken into custody on her outstanding warrant. So, I I didn't see that the dog they clearly didn't charge her for anything. So, they must not have found any drugs on her. All she had was a warrant. It was probably going to go to court. You pay a fine. The fine is the cost of the ticket and you get right out. If the judge would needs to see you, you would go 24 hours tops. But you wouldn't catch a felony and that way you can still, you know, come home to your kids. But now fighting with the cops she gets she you know, caught a felony. So, resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement. Let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. How did they handle this? She clearly didn't handle it very well, so we already know the answer to that, and aggravated the situation for herself, and put herself in a much worse situation. I wish people would think more before they they behave. Um and she clearly did not. She behaved like that she was entitled that you know, a lot of the a lot of people out there that that just have never been held accountable for any of their actions, and so they're they're they're completely entitled and behave like impetuous children who all have always gotten their way, and if they behave poorly enough, they get their way because of bad parenting. Well, guess what? This one uh she met a buzzsaw today, and she ended up catching another charge. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. We'll catch you on the next video.
