[clears throat] >> All right everybody, welcome back. We got another video for you. This one's not that long. Uh but I think it's pretty intense. Obviously there's a warning on it. So it says suspect steals police cruiser and crashes into a Bristol Diner police activity. Let's go. Here we go. I don't know what the nature of the call is here. MOVE. MOVE. MOVE. CLEARLY THEY'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEBODY. STEALING A COP CAR. STEALING A COP CAR. OH NO. FREEZE. OH. DAMN. SHOTS FIRED. SHOTS FIRED. I DON'T KNOW IF THEY HIT HIM OR WHAT. CRASHED IN THE CRUISER. YOU'RE ON MAP. YOU'RE ON MAP. SHOTS FIRED. OH, THE GUY DOUBLED BACK AROUND AND Oh [ __ ] First way he's got a cop car. Go through it. I'm going to Get out of the car. Get out of THE CAR. OH. MAN, THAT'S So that's another off the officer's view or deputy's view. Police. And I saw him put his hands First of all, clear the channel. Don't say anything. Get him under control. So when you hear clear the channel, when whenever we're dealing with a suspect that could this case I mean suspect with a gun, a ongoing fight, will clear the channel, which means no other but nobody else is supposed to get on this channel on the radio unless it deals with this case. And that way we can make sure that these guys are safe before we open up the channel again. So, they've closed the channel. Oh, here he comes. That's ballsy did to jump in the police car. I don't know who that lady Damn. All right, so Is that the guy? So, looks like he gets out of a car. So, what the sound a lot of times kicks in I 30 seconds after the video kicks in. Oh man, what a turd. Oh, wait. I don't know how he didn't wreck on that. The road's got to be slick, too, With all that snow and wet. Can you hear the engine? He's probably got it in like the lowest gear or maybe not. Engine sounds like it's revving pretty high to me. Woo! I don't know how he missed those cars. Oh, yeah. Dang. I swear the bad guys, man, they're the luckiest. See that engine's revving out pretty good. Probably in a lower gear. Probably better for him. He can hear the radio. Oh, buzz that town. Man, this is Oh, yeah. Oh, this guy is lucky. It's got to be. He is going fast, too. Driving in the other lanes. Barely missing these cars. Ooh, he list- he got a little squirrely on him. Don't you guys go to an event or something like that. You can hear the radio. I think the worst part of that Well, there's a lot of bad parts about this. One of the bad parts is the other people that are driving in those other cars think that the police are the ones driving all erratic when it's actually a suspect in a police car. They wouldn't think that this is actually somebody that stole the police car. Oh! I need some caution tape out here as well. Man. Oh, no, no, no, no. Oh! Wow. Right into a diner. That, honestly, was pretty crazy. I don't know what happened. I'm going to have to look into this one and figure out what the heck happened after this because clearly you got felony flight, you got vehicle theft, you've got criminal damage. I'm curious to see what happened because they shot at him. So, obviously, there's an officer-involved shooting in it there. What do you guys think about that? Now, initially when you saw the first video, you see him come around the corner. It doesn't feel like he's in front of the car, but then when you see a couple of the other angles, you can clearly see he is initially in the line of the vehicle. When you are there in person, I promise you it is very different than when you watch these videos over and over again. You are much closer to these cars than than what the video may indicate. You are probably feel like you're more in front of the car. And when you make a decision to shoot, to use your gun, it takes like 3/10 of a second. To undo it takes another 3/10 of a second. So, this guy's got his gun out, makes a decision to shoot at the vehicle who thinks might be coming at him, which we saw recently in the national news is um a legit threat. And so, as that person starts to come at him, he makes a decision to shoot. For him to stop that would take another 3/10 of a second. So, that's a half a second. And that's what you see. And so, he makes a decision to shoot probably when the vehicle's coming at him, the vehicle veers, the shots are still there. Uh this is probably a case where they could easily explain this in in an investigation, a shooting investigation. But, there will definitely be an investigation to see if he violated any policy um to make sure it was a good legitimate shoot. But, from what I can see, based on that officer, where he's at, and his state of mind, my guess is is that he thought that his life was in danger of serious physical injury or death. So, I would have um while it would have maybe done a little bit more training, it's to me it looks like it's going to be a legitimate shoot. Thankfully, he didn't hit the guy, I don't think. Um but, that guy almost hit a bunch of other people, put his own life and other people's lives in danger, and eventually crashed into a diner. Imagine you're eating breakfast on a snowy day, and bam, all of a sudden some car comes crashing through the front doors of a diner. I hope nobody was hurt in the diner. I'm going to look into this and see what I can find out, and uh hopefully get you some answers. But, let me know what you think. How did they do? How crazy was this? Comment, like, subscribe, and I'll catch you on the next video.
