What starts as a bar fight turns into a calculated ambush. That night, Bristol Police Department gets a call. Fight in a parking lot. Nothing unusual. Until it is. A 35-year-old man, Nicholas, upset over a joke. A bad punchline turns into a real fight. Inside, then outside, chaos. By the time police arrive, everyone's gone. Officers track them down, pull them over. That's the cop of my brother. They look [ __ ] five ass seven [ __ ] be cops. Yeah, okay. >> People are proud of you. Yeah, proud of you. Nah, [ __ ] you, dude. Passenger seat. One second, they're going at each other. The next, they're talking like brothers. Because they knew each other. That line, >> [music] >> "Would your mother be proud of you?" wasn't mockery. It was a warning from someone who actually cared. But somehow, that warning became the breaking point. And what happened next, everything spiraled out of control. >> drive. I'm in no trouble. I'm I'm fine. No trouble. Everybody, every single one of you is talking to me. It seems routine, but something feels off. Car gets impounded. They go home. End of story? Not even close. 10:30 p.m. Nicholas calls police himself. Says his brother is out of control, needs help. Officers respond, [music] walk into the scene, and straight into a trap. Gunfire erupts from the bushes. Nicholas opens fire. No warning, just bullets. Two officers go down. [music] Shots fired.
