New Mexico State Police Chief Troy Weisler sent us a statement saying, quote, although there was no intent to cause harm, the conduct demonstrated poor judgment and is inconsistent with the professional standards of state police. He says NMSP is continuing an internal review to determine next steps. Watch this officer on the right. He's pointing a taser directly at another officer's head. Then someone in the room says something important. They're under surveillance. So what does the officer do? He turns and gives the camera two middle fingers. Supervisors, internal affairs, the public. Apparently that message was meant for all of them. Investigators later concluded there was no intent to harm. Yeah, people are debating that. Thin blue lies, baby.
