2023, Wakaaw County, Wisconsin. A Wauaaw
police officer was in an unmarked squad
behind two trucks and a motorcycle when
he witnessed one of the trucks and
motorcycle burn out. Both fled after the
officer activated his lights and sirens.
The officer and additional agencies then
pursued the truck, which accelerated to
90 to 100 mph. Are you in pursuit?

identified as a 21-year-old male named

After losing sight of the truck,
officers quickly relocated the truck
after dispatch received a call from a
citizen that an unknown black truck was
parked in his driveway.

he originally did not comply. Instead,

Cade was taken to the Wauaaw Police
Department and agreed to submit to an
evidentiary chemical test of his breath.
The sample provided a value of 0.09.
Ultimately, Cade was charged with two
counts of vehicle operator flee/ude
officer and secondderee recklessly
endangering safety. He was given a
$5,000 cash bond. Cade was eventually
found guilty on both counts of vehicle
operator flee/elude officer. Count one
was ordered to a state prison for 14
months, imposed and stayed. Extended
supervision 24 months, imposed and
stayed, and probation 2 years imposed.
