trying to charge me for a DUI when I haven't even had alcohol. So, >> my son is alive. He has a good grade on average, but he was bad. >> A mother is supposed to be her child's greatest protector, not the reason the police have to step in. >> These two >> made it sound so innocent >> because they were doing >> because cops are all liars. >> I'm fire. What are you [music] doing? >> Taking your keys. >> No. No. Give me that. >> Watch what happens when these entitled [music] women realize that playing the mom card only buys them a quick trip in handcuffs. Responding to a report of an impaired driver on January 9th, 2024 in Florida, police arrived to confront Sher Nichols. Upon discovering that this woman had just caused two consecutive accidents within 10 minutes, officers were met with an unimaginably absurd argument. >> Okay, you guys are okay. >> Okay. What happened? >> I don't know. This day's been the day from hell. >> Okay. >> This is the second accident I've had within the past 10 minutes. >> Okay. Which way are you coming? Which way were you coming? >> I was coming from Oto. I just picked my car up. >> Coming this way. I flipped the rental car that I had and then I went to go pick up my car. >> Okay. >> From Oido. >> Which way were you coming? >> I don't know where I'm at. I'm on 426. I was coming this way going towards um university. >> All right. Well, go here. So, hello. >> All right. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Just left. >> Okay. >> What happened? I was driving and next thing I know I got hit and I looked back and she swerving back into her lane and all I know is she kind of came in. >> Which way were you going? >> I was on the furthest left lane. >> The the through lane. >> Uh yeah, cuz I was try I was going to get into the turn lane, but we weren't there yet. It was back there. >> Back there. But you were on 426 here. >> Yeah, she kind of gunned it a little bit, but then I kind of came behind her and she realized she's not going to, you know, kind of go away. So I uh Then she pulled off cuz I honked and stuff. >> Okay. >> What happened? >> Huh? >> No. >> You don't know what happened at all? You know where you are? >> Yes. What happened? >> I don't straight kids this way. >> And then where did he come from? >> So he was on the side of me. I was in the left lane, he was on the right lane, and apparently I swerved into her. >> Okay. Any special reason why were you doing anything? Radio, cell phone, anything like that? >> Been up since 2:00 in the morning. >> Okay. Well, that could explain it. You're tired, I'm sure. Okay. >> Is this the same one from earlier? >> Where was your You said you got into another crash 10 minutes ago. >> 11. Copy. 1050. >> Approximately 10 20 minutes ago. Where was that? Where was that accident at? >> Instead of staying quiet to hide her impairment, she practically handed the police a criminal case on a silver platter. Witness statements only provided more evidence to expose her actions. >> Here is a copy of the driver's exchange. What we give you at the scene with everybody's information on it so you can go home, call your insurance companies, and do all that fun stuff. Okay, that's your copy. Any questions for me? >> Yes, I do. He said he thinks that she's on something. Can we ask? >> They just seemed a little weird when she stepped out of the car. >> Yeah, we're talking with her and stuff. So, we're >> I just know our insurance company. That's the first question they're going to ask. I just >> No, no, really. >> Well, that's what they asked me. They said, "Did you they're asking1 details?" I said, "I don't know. He just seems to think that she might be on something." She goes, "Okay, well, we need >> before she leaves or some sort under the influence test." >> No, no. I mean, the insurance companies don't decide that. >> No, I'm not. >> No, I'm saying we we we evaluate. We see if there's any indication. stuff like that. >> I can't discuss that with you right now, but it'll be everything will be finalized on the report. >> Okay. So, if there is an indicator on that, is that uh do we receive a copy of that? >> You can it'll it'll all be Yeah. If there was if there's anything, it'll be on it'll be on the um >> on the actual report because there's a box on there for all that that's checked and everything. So, >> okay. So, we we can't ask for that is what you're saying. We can't ask for that to be >> correct. And it's just because somebody says, "Oh, we want them tested for this." We don't automatically do that. There has to be >> Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, you know, by there has to be indicators. There has to be other things that are that that go along with it. So, um I know she had like he had mentioned she had some scratches and stuff on her before. I know she told me she was involved in a crack earlier today. So, you know, things like that can can also be indicators for other things as well, >> right? >> So, >> okay. We're just asking. >> No, absolutely. Absolutely. >> All right. Anything else that you need from him? >> No. Anything else you need from me? >> That's it. That >> Okay. Okay. And you're okay. You don't need medical or anything like that? >> I don't think so. As of this point, I feel good. I mean, I feel very sore. >> So, I'm going to go home and see how it goes. And if I have to go to >> You think you're okay to drive? >> Yeah. >> But I'm going to drive very slow. >> All right. >> All right. >> Give me just a few more minutes. I'm going to finish set up some stuff and then I'll actually I need to see your that right back. I need to I forgot I need to defend something. >> All right, so give me just a few more minutes. I'm going to finish up with some stuff and then we'll be good to go. >> The moment she was asked to step out of the vehicle, she immediately became stubborn and defensive to the point where she didn't even bother pretending to be sober. >> Just right up here. Is this the damage from your accident? >> Well, >> that was from a previous accident. >> Okay. >> And that was in the shop. >> Okay. getting fixed cuz it broke the um steering pump. >> And you had an accident earlier today. Is that what I heard? >> No, that was >> You didn't get into another crash today? >> No, today I didn't get in a crash with a rental car and I flipped it three times. >> Did you go to the hospital and get checked out or >> No, >> you already got cleared by fire rescue. >> No. >> Do you need fire rescue for this crash? >> No. >> Okay. So when I'm talking to you, I I I can hear a little bit of slur speech. You're stumbling out of the car. You're >> Yeah, cuz I've been up since. >> So because of those things though, what we're going to do is now that the crash investigation's done, we're going to we're going to move forward into a DUI criminal investigation. Because of that, I'm going to read you your rights. Okay? >> So you have Hold on. Let me read you your rights and then I'll talk to you about it. You have the right to remain silent. Are you willing to do field sobriety exercises to determine whether or not you are safe to drive? >> I have not been drinking. >> Okay. I didn't say you were drinking. I believe that you may be impaired, whether that be alcohol, pain pills, any other narcotic. >> Yeah, I have a medical marijuana license. >> Okay. Are you willing to do field sobriety exercises to determine whether or not you are safe to drive? You've already made up your mind. >> I have not, ma'am. >> Yes, you have. No, you're not. >> Cuz there would be no reason for you to have pulled up here. >> Did the other driver say that she's like, >> "You have no right to it." >> Excuse me. >> You heard me. >> I I didn't hear what you were saying. I was speaking. >> When I call somebody to pick up my children, cuz you've already made up your mind. Okay, >> they will be getting all my stuff out of my car. You will not be touching any of it. >> Okay, that's okay with me. I don't have a problem with that. All right, so what we're going to do is we're going to go back here behind your car. Okay, let's go that way. 312. Do we have a 39 kilo? >> She mistakenly thought that not drinking alcohol would clear her of driving under the influence. Unfortunately for her, the sobriety and toxicology test revealed the whole truth. >> Can you see the tip of my pen? Can you see the tip of my pen? >> Mhm. >> I want you to follow that with your eyes. Your eyes only. Do not move your head. Okay. Do you have any questions? >> Whatever. >> Do you have any questions? >> Whatever. >> I'm going to assume that. >> Just do your [ __ ] >> Okay. Follow my pen with your eyes. Do not move your head. Keep your head still for me. Okay. >> Well, don't go so high. I'm >> Are you willing to complete this exercise? >> No, >> you're not. >> No, because you're trying to charge me for a DUI when I haven't even had alcohol. >> Ma'am, this exercise, all of these exercises are standardized throughout the country. The instructions I'm giving you are the same instruction. >> I'm calling Judy to pick up my children. >> I am calling Judy to pick up my children. >> Do not push me. It's going to go bad for you. >> Okay. You're under arrest. I already know that. That's why I'm calling Judy to pick up my children. Let go of me so I can get >> not pull away from me. It's going to be bad for you. >> Bring me my phone. >> Orange County Dick. >> I work for Seminal County. >> Seminal County Dicks. Call Judy now. >> Stay over there. >> Stay back over there. >> I'll be over there to talk to you guys. Give me one second. No, they're not allowed in my car. They're not allowed. Touch my stuff. Call Judy right now. Go to hell. >> Burn in hell. >> Burn in hell. >> And you burn. >> No, we're going to my car. >> No, I'm taking care of my children. >> You cannot stop me from taking care of my children. Here. Come on. Take a seat. >> No. Force me. >> So, as of right now, you're being charged with DUI. Do you also want to be charged >> a DUI for a no drunk? You dumb piece of [ __ ] dicks. >> Do you also want to be charged with resisting as well? >> Take me to my children now. Judy, have you already talked to her? >> No, she doesn't have my number cuz it's a new phone. >> Okay. So, mom's going to jail today because she's extremely impaired and should not be driving this car. Okay. The both of you should not be in this car with her and she's evidenced by two different crashes today. And have you guys have you guys noticed mom acting any weirdly or funny or nothing like that? Okay. >> So, what's going to ultimately happen if she's going to go to the jail? Is that her phone? >> This is my phone. >> Okay. Where's her phone? >> So, if she can call someone to come pick you guys up, I would love that. So, you guys don't have to get displaced. I'll bring it to her and she can make the phone call. >> She'll be able to get out of >> Yeah. It's just It's simple. She'll she'll just have to pay a bond and she can get out. >> Ultimately, she was taken to jail and faced a series of charges, including two counts of battery, battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer without violence, DUI with property damage, DUI with a minor in the vehicle, and illegal possession of a schedule 3 substance. She was released after posting a $14,500 bond. The online community was truly outraged when this footage went viral. Her kids have seen her like this before. They were so calm. Glad no one was hurt. If your kids are in the car, it should just be mandatory jail time. No excuses. Her kids didn't notice any unusual behavior because this is how she is every day. And just when you [music] thought we had hit rock bottom, another mother proved that things can always get worse. Tracing the screams from a disconnected 911 call, police arrived at an apartment complex on May 5th, 2023. Instead of seeking a peaceful resolution for her 13-year-old son, this mother chose to turn the hallway into a battleground, openly defying the law. >> Hi. Did you call us? >> What happened? >> Yeah, I need to go up here and get my son. Well, what? Tell us what's going on. >> I don't know, but I have custody over my son. So, come on. Is this your apartment here? >> Yeah. Okay. I'm here. >> We're allowed to come in? >> Yeah. Wait, tell us what we're coming into, though, cuz I don't know what I don't know what's going on. >> No, here. Come on. >> I'm not going to follow you into any more rooms until you tell me why we are here. >> My name is >> Okay. So what's >> my son is a liar because he has a point of like he has a good grade point average but he's math. >> Mhm. >> And then so what dude had came down to it and now you want to sit over there and you weren't watching me. I have custody over to you. >> I am trying. I am doing this [ __ ] as a woman as a single woman on my own. Ain't no section ain't no link car. I am doing this [ __ ] >> I got you. Let's go. What's he doing today that's defying you? You know, we got to >> right here. We got this. >> We're still talking right here and then we'll come. >> No, you need to come over here. Right here. >> Where are we going? And what are we doing when we go >> right here? >> We can talk first. I don't I have no idea what this is about. He is allowing this dude to to sit there over here and then understand like this dude is supposed to be doing this and that and the third. But come on now. I'm your mother. And then guess what? I have to be I have to be the cool person. Then I have to be the authority person. And then I have to still be within whatever it is to be a parent. >> But first of all, that's my child. So, let me ask you some questions real quick. Okay. Um, you're you live here in apartment A. Where is your child at? >> My child is up here and let's go. >> Up where? >> Up where? >> And then you going to come on here or wherever. >> Where is he at? Where is it? A different apartment. Are we going to a different house? Like, I need I need more details. Yeah. >> The woman took it upon herself to order the police around, demanding they follow her to the apartment where her son was hiding without offering a single word of explanation. Ignoring all reason, her stubbornness reached its peak when she began violently pounding on a neighbor's door. >> Who lives in number two? Stop banging on my damn >> Where's my shot? >> Hey y'all. >> Can you tell US you see what I'm saying, bro? That's why That's exactly why he's up here. That's exactly why she >> That's exactly why he's up here. >> Exactly why. >> Thank you. I told you. Go your ass downstairs, get you some sleep, and sleep that drunk [ __ ] off. You doing this in front of your kids >> and then Okay. >> No. And then you going >> right now you're being detained for trespassing. >> Detained for in my own building. Okay. >> I need to go >> for what reason? So now I'm a false detainment because I live in the in the building. So what are you saying? >> Don't live in here. >> And so what is trespasses, baby? You gave me a whole thing. Where does this door down there go to? >> And then here. No, we going it goes outside. >> Yeah, we going to go. I'm recording for trespassing within my own home. >> You don't live in number two. >> Well, I don't live in number two, but it's still my building. >> That doesn't matter. >> So, okay then. Let's go. >> Let's go, Miss Lenny. We're going to wait till we have someone else that can help us walk you down the stairs and let's go. some responsibility. >> We don't want you to walk slow [ __ ] >> You were saying you without any permission. >> You are a lie. And now get me off of your >> and my son. >> Step out the door. It's time to go. >> All right. Yep. I never said I was going to do [ __ ] to you. And you know I >> hit the button to unlock this car. J. >> Is it J? It's his car. >> So I said I was going to do [ __ ] to you, >> right? I said I was going to do [ __ ] to her. Yeah, I'm recording. >> No, I ain't said I was going to do [ __ ] to this woman. >> Oh. Oh, now you >> even after being placed in handcuffs, she continued to actively resist as officers tried to load her into the patrol car. >> You trust me? You a lie. I'm trespassing on where I live at. >> You telling me I trespass on where I live at? Trespass on where someone else lives at. >> You go. You >> go on. Just get in. Come on. Just get in. Don't resist. Okay. >> Hey, you can talk to us. Get back down there. >> Get up. >> No. >> Aren't going to do it. >> Hey, we're going to stand you up. >> We're going to stand you up. >> Hold up. No, >> this ain't going to cut it. >> No, >> it's not. It's going to happen eventually, so you may as well get >> Let me There is going to be There's going to be Yes, you can. >> You got to get up off the ground first. >> One thing out from the ground. >> One thing at a time. Come on. Stand up. >> Is broken. Your foot's broken. >> Yeah, my tooth is actually broken. >> Yeah. >> Are you Are you Are your feet broken? >> Yeah, it is. >> All right. Can you stand up for us? >> No. Get me out of this. What what would get you to stand up? >> Get me out of this [ __ ] and I ain't this [ __ ] until you stand up. >> Well, let's figure out your life. >> Let's figure out what your life and I still have it on recording and whip. >> That's all right. That's all right. We're going to have to put you in the car if you don't want to put yourself in the car. >> It's your last chance to stand up. >> Don't kick me now. >> Please stand on your own or you're never going to buy. >> Will you stand on your own, please? I'm not. >> Will you stand on your own, please, miss? Put her in. There we go. >> Don't Don't kick us. >> Do not kick. >> And then you >> ready? >> Yep. >> All right. All right. >> Meanwhile, the truth finally began to come to light through the accounts of her 13-year-old son and the neighbor. >> So, so what's going on? >> Nothing. I came downstairs to get a blow dry from her, but you know, they was having problems. He locked himself in his room. I here go y'all mail right here. And then I seen her open the door and she comes out and trying to strike him and I'm like, "Girl, you can't do that." Like says to me, bro, cuz she drunk obviously she out of her mind. So he knows me and he knows my son. They hang out and stuff like that. So >> So what's your relation with her? >> Nothing. She Yeah, I just know them since he was a baby. Since he wasn't even walking. So he's friends with your son. >> So what happened today, man? >> She was already drunk. >> Mhm. >> I went, she started talking to me about some stuff and that happened at the library. Me and my sister like cuz there was some kids at the library cursing. So me and my sister went upstairs to like from the team room to the kids room and we was playing ACI and so [clears throat] she got mad like about something. I don't know. Your mom got mad? >> Mhm. >> Is she usually drunk all the time? >> No. >> No. >> She's She was trying to do his two week 74 day challenge like to not get drunk >> and to not drink. None of that. >> But >> what happened today? When did she start drinking? >> Last night. >> Last night. And it just go came on to today then. >> Mhm. >> So did you stay here with your neighbor for since yesterday then? No, I came up this morning cuz when she had struck me in the face when I opened the door, I let John in and he protected me and brought me up in that door. >> Are you going to press charges for her? >> Okay. So, she she's just detained right now. >> She was just trying to rush through the door. She's not allowed in here. >> Um >> yeah, there's a lot going on. So, okay. >> She's just trying to hurry up and get my hair done so I can go cuz she's really mad >> about the whole situation though. No, no, >> she's just upset there's a couple chaotic. No, I just went down. >> Okay, so obviously she's not under arrest right now. Um, and you don't want to press charges, >> but she needs to go to the fish tank. Y'all need to put her somewhere so she can sleep that [ __ ] off because if she comes back, guess what? Cuz they ain't going to call the police if she strikes them. >> Once at the jail, her delusional behavior escalated into sheer madness. She rambled incessantly, refused to comply with basic booking procedures, and eventually the situation reached its breaking point. >> All right, but look though, bro, you should have been over there with him. >> And that dude, >> no, bro. That talking about why you're talking to right now. >> Yes, I'm telling you. You should not be upstairs. >> Turn around and walk in. Remember I said, but we got to get through this first. >> Yeah. Here. >> And I'm telling you, he should >> I think I think she thinks she's talking to JRock. >> The general what I'm what I'm getting. >> I'm telling you, you should never ever have let him be over there with him. And that's why I stood on the on the way a woman should do. Don't touch him. >> It is going down. >> Get down on the bench and stay there. >> And I'm telling you, this is going >> You don't even KNOW WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO. >> Watch your fingers. Watch your fingers. Watch your fingers. >> STOP. ON THE GROUND. STOP. >> Sit down. more. >> Grab grab me one more time. ONE MORE TIME. >> ALL RIGHT. >> I SAW IT. Please do not let them down. >> Ultimately, the woman was detained and faced a series of charges, including trespassing, resisting a law enforcement officer and battery on a police officer. She had perfectly orchestrated her own downfall. After watching the footage, a massive wave of viewers spoke up in defense of the young boy. To the man who protected the child and offered to bring in the daughter, too. Bless you. My mother was like her. I hope these children find peace with someone safe. Feeling afraid of your parent as a kid is one of the most damaging things. Those of us who grew up with parents who didn't drink sometimes need to be reminded how fortunate we are. These kids are traumatized for life. Meanwhile, the next child in our [music] story was fortunately saved by a vigilant witness. On December 17th, 2023 in Florida, police made an emergency intervention when a heavily intoxicated mother attempted to force her young daughter into her car, witnessing her gamble a child's life on alcohol. Bystanders immediately exposed the woman's stubborn and erratic behavior to the arriving officers. >> Okay, I'll talk to you guys over here real quick. So, what's going on exact? >> Oh, I I pulled up the We're getting ready to play hockey. I pulled up over here. She was stumbling trying to stand up over here and I was watching her. >> Um her daughter was helping her pick up all her [ __ ] cuz she fell. They came over here. I was trying to make sure she wasn't driving. She was yanking on her door trying to get in. She >> busted her kid in the face trying to get the door open >> and then put her in the car seat. And that's when we all like >> Yeah. It's like that. >> Yeah, definitely. >> She just like [ __ ] house. >> Yeah, absolutely. Um, and you said you called. You called. >> Uh, did you see all that as well? >> Yeah. Right next to Gotcha. Can I get your Do you have your ID? >> The moment they approached the mother, they quickly realized she was in a condition where she couldn't even care for herself, let alone protect a child. >> Please don't miss me. >> I'm not doing anything to you. Do you have So, we're going to have the fire department come check you out. >> Okay. >> Is there someone that can come pick you and your daughter up? >> Yes, I I I am fine. Like, please don't do this to me. >> Nobody's doing anything to you. >> Hey, how you doing? >> You're not getting in the vehicle, though. That's not That's not happening. That's not >> That's not happening. >> Let's not Yeah. Let's not turn this into something doesn't need to be. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> That way, we're not in the middle of the road. So, what's going on today? >> Nothing. >> Okay. What What are you guys doing over here? Watching a game or what's going on? >> We're having like my my girl is having ice skating. >> Ice skating. >> Ice skating. She's going She's going ice skating >> right now. >> Yeah, right now. >> Okay. >> What's her name? What's like like please like >> what's uh what's your social security number? >> I I didn't do anything. Did I Did I do anything? Well, >> yeah, but we're not trying to do that right now. We are trying to help you instead of go that route. So, it would be best if you cooperated. >> Okay, I understand that. If you were being arrested, you'd already be arrested. >> I I have anxiety. >> I understand. Do you not have your driver's license with you? >> Yeah, I do. >> Where's that car? But I'm not letting it in the car. I just have anxiety. What's going on? >> We're doing an investigation. >> No, [crying] you guys are doing an investigation and I'm crying. >> What's your husband's phone number? >> Why? >> So that we can call him and get >> No, no, please don't. Please don't. Please, [crying] please don't call my husband. >> Who else is going to take care of the child? >> Please don't do this. Please follow me. Like I have condition. >> How do you know? But what's your husband's name? >> No. No. I'm getting excited. I'm getting excited. Like, please, please. >> Okay. The fire the fire department's coming to do an evaluation. >> No. >> So they can address any anxiety. >> No. No. I'm okay. Like, who who did this? >> You did this. >> No, I did not. >> Yes, you did. >> No, I did not. >> Yes, you did. >> No, I did not. >> These are choices that you made that led you here right now. >> No. Hey, >> are you going to give us a phone number or are we going to have DCF going to take your child? >> Those are your two options. >> No. >> Then give me a phone number. >> Phone number or DCF? >> Something happened. >> I'm okay. >> Those are your two options. >> No. No. You're not going to do this to me. >> All right. If we're going to call DCF if you don't give us number, >> absolutely we are. >> No. Can I talk to you? Hi. >> Can he Can you come to me? right now. Can you Can you come talk Can you come and talk to me? >> I'm fine. >> Instead of providing her husband's phone number for her child's safety, she was far more concerned with keeping her drinking habits hidden. Furthermore, the more the officers asked for her cooperation, the more she proved her complete inability to care for the young girl. >> I want to be released home. Okay. without your partners. >> Look at me. >> I I am I am I will get you a paramedic with the fire department. What I would like to do >> is you can come sit over on the fire truck with me. I'll get you checked out. Make sure you're okay. And I'll get >> I'm okay. >> Okay. But I've got to make sure that you are okay. >> She isn't here. >> I'm right here. >> No. Come closer. >> Come closer. >> Leave your daughter with all we get you checked out. Okay. >> Police officers. Oh my gosh. The problem I'm having like issues are problem. >> The problem I'm having is your police officers don't THINK I'M FINE. I'm fine. >> Okay. No. No. No. >> Don't resist. >> You're just going to get you help. We're just trying to get >> Stoping me alone. No. No. Leave me alone. >> We're just trying to get you help. >> We're making sure that you're okay. >> GIVE ME MY DAUGHTER BACK. >> NO. NO. This is a problem with the police officer. >> Give me my daughter back. Give me my daughter back now. >> All right. >> I'm not on drugs. No, I no no no no no no no no no no no. >> Don't kick her. You're going to get a felony. You will get a FELONY IF YOU KICK [screaming] MY DAUGHTER BACK. >> You will get a felony. You will get a felony. You will get a felony. You will get a felony. I WANT MY DAUGHTER BACK. HOW DARE YOU handcuff me. You are irresponsible. I want my daughter back. I want my DAUGHTER BACK. >> I WANT MY DAUGHTER BACK. YOUR employees No, your >> CMS. >> Your employees did everything wrong. >> Okay. >> Yeah, they did. They're like swing. They're like stirring me up for no reason. >> I did nothing wrong. >> If this kind of behavior is a regular occurrence, there is absolutely no guaranteeing the child's safety in her custody. It wasn't until her husband finally arrived that the full truth was brought to light. >> All right. There's the keys. You're the registered owner of the vehicle, right? >> That's correct, sir. >> Yeah. All right. Um, so today, uh, she was found trying to get into the car, opening the car really suddenly on your daughter's face. >> Um, that was when people decided that they needed to, you know, see what was going on. She was severely stumbling, had a really bad, uh, slur in her speech. >> So, she was uh, and had urinated on herself. >> Yeah, she's been a before.
