You tell them the truth. You're fat around me. This is a truth. >> I don't enjoy a fat people. >> When booze blurs your common sense, Karen starts treating the world like her personal stage. Like everybody else is the problem. >> I'm not accusing. I'm not accusing. I am a pregnant woman. They swear they've got some kind of special rules until reality slams the door shut. Give it just a few minutes and you'll see. Every bad choice [music] comes with a bill. And this one isn't cheap. On May 29th, 2023 in Glen View, an ordinary day at a public pool got derailed by disruptive behavior when sharp words escalated into a hardto- believe claim. Police had to step in. What happened next quickly went way [music] beyond anyone's expectations. >> Patron who's like illiterate and she was like clapping and spitting at our manager and so she decided to call but they're in the lap. Comfort was wearing a red helmet with >> Hi. Yeah. >> What's going on today? >> Cutting. I pay a lot of money. $17. I didn't have a chance to swim because this fat ladies are occupying for 1 hour. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. Why are we topless? >> Because I'm a man. No, I'm not. I'm a man. I'm a transgender. So, I I don't >> Okay. Well, they don't want you to be in the pool anymore. So, we're going to >> They don't want So, they have to reimburse you the money that I face. They might they might be able to do that. But can you gather your things? We're going to leave. No, >> I will leave. I will leave one. >> Not on you here. >> No, we're going to leave right now. May I speak? >> Look at Look at him. He has stopped. Look at him behind. >> I understand. >> May I speak? >> I'm not a man. >> Ma'am, I'm a I'm a boy. >> I haven't said ma'am. May I speak, please? >> Okay. Why? Why boys? They need to use stuff. >> This is That's beside the point. They wanted you to leave before you even took off your top because you're creating a scene here and and yelling in people's faces. >> I want to make complaints to part this. I want my money back. >> That's fine. >> We can do that at the front desk. >> And I want to to about this this this that occupy the lane. What rule is that? >> She was irritated about having to share swim space then blamed everyone else when things didn't go her way. Acting like she was the main character, she tried to hide behind a gender label to justify the behavior. That kind of reaction only cranked up the tension [music] instead of calming anything down. >> I don't like you. I don't like >> Okay, that's fine. >> A young man, this is you. You can walk away cuz apparently you guys are not >> it's causing the problem with her. >> Okay. >> And >> Okay. So, they need to leave me. So, I spent 4 hours. I didn't find a lady to switch it because >> to go to the front desk to talk about the rules. Okay. So, she's going to show you where it is in the rules. >> When we get there with them, she took my money and and then she >> Okay. I'm sure you would have been avail the rules would have been available to you had you asked for them when you paid that money. If swim lanes are so important to you when you go to a public pool, then you can ask about the rules when you get there before you pay your money. >> Right now, you just need to gather your things and leave. >> Look at the young people how crafty they are. When all these ladies a fat ladies swimming for an hour. Look when they have a chance to swim. When when this real people when when if everybody stays for 1 hour or the old people and ugly people like that. Look at that. She doesn't even want to swim. She's like like a fro this lane. They have priority not I need I need my money back. I need my money back. Freaking >> I need my money back. MONEY BACK. I PAY $7. I couldn't swim. I couldn't swim. I couldn't do anything. Give me >> There's a lot There's a lot of kids. >> Oh my god. What a What a >> There's a lot of kids around here. Stop yelling. >> Yeah, I did. >> Okay, but stop yelling. You see the kids? You're starting to scare the kids. So, work your way out. >> No, I want to make complaint. >> You can make all the COMPLAINTS YOU WANT. >> GIVE me your Give me the document to make her complain. Give me the document to make here. >> Here. She's going to give you your money back. Did you pay as a resident or a non-resident? >> $17. >> She didn't reflect on her own disruption at all. She stayed locked in on other people doing it wrong for swimming too long. In her mind, she built a warped version of reality where her outburst became righteous push back. While she took shots at the manager's competence like they were beneath her. >> Listen to me for a second though. Okay. >> You're going to be trespassed from this facility. That means you can never Hang on. Hang on. That means you can never >> I mean I for the first time I put >> you it sounds like you don't ever want to come back anyway. So it doesn't matter. But here's the thing. >> I don't need any of the I don't Yes. Listen. Listen. We need to document the situation so that when you do come back. >> Uh >> no. I want to make a complaint. >> I understand. Uh complaint where you have to get your complaint form. Just hold off right here on your side of here. >> Nobody calls in. >> Oh my god. only you when I see look at this chicken director said he's okay if you arrest him for trespass >> we can't she has to be told >> I think you're kind of making it a less friendly area >> I was waiting for 3 hours to sleep but I I couldn't find one >> Hang on you you very rarely let me speak let me talk to you for a second you calling body shaming people and telling them that they're fat and ugly is making this a very unfriendly place okay here you you have such a complaint with how you're being treated. I have a sergeant in route. Okay. You can talk to the boss about how you've been treated. >> Until then, can you tell >> I'M MORE THAN SERGEANT. I'M DOCTOR in surgeon or whatever. >> Can you tell me your name? >> I don't need I look Give me the I want to make a complaint to the part. >> She has probably breached the peace of quite a few people. Wouldn't you say? >> Okay. Listen. Listen. >> No, I just called them fat or not here. >> Continuously. >> What? >> Because you're breaching the piece. It's sortly conduct. It is. >> You tell them the truth. You are fat and ugly. This is the truth. >> What does that mean? >> I'm not sure what that meant. But what what does that mean? What you just said? >> I tell them fat and ugly. What does that mean? >> This is I said move move to the lane. Leave the kids the young people so they have a chance to No, she didn't. She was there for 1 hour in the on the lane. I paid the same money last everybody and I didn't have a chance to swim because this fat lady was on the lane for one hour. 1 hour. >> A fat lady. >> How do you know that was a lady? >> She treated insults like she was just telling the truth which shows a serious disconnect where personal opinions start replacing basic community standards. The irony gets louder because none of the criticism came with any self-awareness. Then it slid into comments that carried a clear cultural bias. Don't come to a location that would be filled with families trying to enjoy their time if you don't want to be surrounded by families trying to enjoy their time. That makes sense, right? Listen. I need listen listen. Stop talking. Stop talking. I need some ID from you. >> No, >> because you've committed the crime of disorderly conduct and you need I need to identify you. >> No, I didn't come. I just told them that they are fat and ugly and this is normal normal to say people you are fat and ugly. You don't belong here. No, she doesn't belong. >> That's not normal. That's not normal at all. >> I've been a cop for 15 years and I have never had >> Yeah. For you. For you. I come for you. I come from Europe. Okay. It's a fine. Maybe in Europe. It's okay. This is a different country. Yeah. It's a fat country with more fat people. >> If you don't want to be surrounded by >> I don't This is not your problem. This is my problem. Okay. When I go. >> Yes. I don't know what the rule I don't know what the rules are here. >> This is what they told me that you can swim as as much as you can. >> But what I'm saying is I I don't know what the rules are. It it whatever the rules are is what you need to understand when you go to but this is a private place. When you go to these places, even though it's a park district, it's a public park. >> I don't care. You said it. It's family. It's like everybody pays the same money. Okay. Sure. I don't enjoy fat people. That's it. Like that. that it's no not other not I tell them in face but that's your opinion that's not my opinion they can't see themselves they are like that >> I understand that and you can send the village an email about that or you can >> email I want I want this is what I want I want to make a complaint I I told the safe board I told the manager they don't >> but there's another way to handle that okay what we're here for is we need to handle the situation I do you cuz if you do what >> they're willing to sign a complaint and you wind up having to go to jail or something BECOMES MUCH MORE COMPLICATED DIFFICULT. I TOLD HER YOU ARE FAT and you have to move out of for other people to swing >> because your conduct in a public place. >> I didn't touch I didn't touch anybody. I didn't say anything. >> You don't have to physically touch people if you >> I didn't touch I didn't show me the rules. If you tell someone if you >> see where we are right now and why we're getting to this point. >> I'm saying you are I said I'm not talking with you. Exactly what I said because you are I turn my back. Yeah. You can't tell people the truth and they have to be aware they are >> strapped or no. >> Okay. >> Officers gave her multiple chances to leave quietly. Instead, she kept choosing to torch her own public image, mocking staff and management right in front of police. And the moment she realized arrest was on the table, she flipped the script fast and started broadcasting victim mode to try to steer the crowd. >> Do you have an ID? >> What is the problem? >> Well, you've committed disorderly conduct. >> And we're on the verge of going to jail today. No, I'm not coming anywhere. No. >> Then just say to yourself and we'll be done. Call police. I'm calling my prospect. >> You call my prospect. That's fine. >> No, I'm calling my mom. >> Call my prospect. Please just go away from the bags. There you go. >> Why did you do anything? >> Don't pull away from me. >> No, I'm not going. No, >> you are going to go. >> No, you me. You hurt me. I want to make a >> Everything's on camera. >> Okay. >> I want to put I didn't do anything. It's going to squeeze out. >> No, it's me. Going. >> It's not It's not tight. We can We can see it. >> I want to go to hospital because you hurt me. Look at my hands. You hurt my You hurt me. >> I don't want to. >> I don't I want to call my lawyer. I want to call >> We can do that. >> No, now I don't want to have this now. I want to call my lawyer. We can do that right when we get to jail. >> I'm not going to any jail. >> I didn't do anything. That's true. This is not true. >> No, I just You don't go to jail because you tell people you are sad. No. No. You don't go to jail for >> You're going to one behind. >> Take it because my hands ARE LOOK AT MY HANDS. I WANT TO GO to hospital to show them. >> Listen. >> Yes. Yeah. My hands. Look at >> your hand. These are completely loose. I can move them around. their position properly, too. >> All right, have a seat. >> No, I'm not going. I'm not doing that. >> Don't make us Don't make >> Even in the back of the patrol car, she still believed a lawyer name drop or medical request could keep her out of jail, but the officers stayed firm and that ended the whole manipulation attempt. She was booked and faced charges for disorderly conduct, and she was permanently banned from the facility. After being released on bond, she failed to appear in court 2 months later. A warrant was issued and as of August 2023, it was still active. The pool finally cooled off. But somewhere else, another Karen was already stepping over the line into trespass. In Florida on March 22nd, 2023, police were called to a resort after staff repeatedly reported an outofcrol woman. Even after being told to leave, she kept planting herself on private property. And that was just the beginning. >> Deputy Plum with the sheriff's office. Deputy Plum. >> All right. Do you have an ID on you or anything? >> Sure do. >> Can I borrow that from you? >> Sure can. >> What's going on today? >> I came here and I was sitting at the bar having a drink with my friends. I come here multiple times. When I tell you I've spent thousands of dollars at this hotel, thousands of dollars at this hotel. >> From the bar to staying at the hotel to everything. This is my hotel I come to. >> Okay. You're at the bar. >> I'm at the bar drinking and the guy that has no shoes. Oh, he's not over here. >> Security guy. Okay. >> Oh, he's not over here. Sorry. He's not He's not the one with no shoes. >> He has no shoes. Every time I come to this place, >> Uhhuh. >> whether I'm staying. If I'm not saying, I go to that little that little convenience store, whatever the [ __ ] it is, >> probably >> to check in and get your wristband so you can get in the lazy river and the slide. >> Okay. What happens? >> I'm sitting at the bar >> and the dude with no shoes comes to my people that I bought a hotel $400 hotel room comes to my people and says something to my people for what? >> Well, what did he say? >> I don't know. >> Okay. Anyway, so what happens? He was talking [ __ ] to them >> about what? >> How do you know he's talking [ __ ] >> They need to leave the pool. >> Okay. So, he asked him to leave the pool. So, you know what he said? >> They need to leave the area. >> Okay. So, you know what he said? >> They need to leave the area, but I paid. There you go. >> I don't need that. >> I paid. >> Okay. So, then what happens? >> So, then what happens is I've seen this man multiple times. I've been I've seen >> Yes, I get it. You come here all the time. I get it. So, >> I've seen him I've seen him multiple times. Got it. >> Wayne got my tickets and I was like, "Here's my ticket." >> Did he ask you to leave? >> Did he did? >> She dodged the core question and instead painted herself as a VIP guest who'd been disrespected by an employee not even wearing shoes. The decision to trespass her was made and in a blink, back and forth turned into a standoff. From there, things sped up in a direction no one wanted. >> Did you leave? >> What would I leave for when I paid? >> Didn't he ask you to leave? >> For what? >> Did he ask you to leave? For what though? >> I'm asking you a question. Did he ask you to leave? >> Yes. Why did >> And then you did not leave, right? >> Why did he ask me to leave? >> I I don't know. That's a good question. You tell me. >> I'm I'm asking you. >> I don't know. Doesn't matter. It's private property. If they ask you to leave, you have to leave. >> What do you mean? When I pay $400. >> All right. So, I'm not going to argue with you. You're getting trespassed. Okay. Kyle, can you say the words? >> So, no. No. >> You just say No. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Kyle, you don't have to listen. I don't care. >> No, no, no. I want to know where I'm getting trespassed for. It's private property. They could trespass you for anything they want. >> Above you so we can talk to him. >> Nope. That's not how this works. >> No. What do you mean that's not how that works? What do you mean that's not how that works? I'm asking you for your sergeant. >> Ma'am, you're about to go in handcuffs. So, you better back up right now. >> I'm asking you for your sergeant. Back. You don't >> I'm asking you for >> Guess what, Bell County Sheriff's Office? We don't have to get you a supervisor. Okay. >> You don't have to. >> Let's go get your stuff. Okay. Cuz you're leaving. >> You don't have to get me a supervisor. >> I'm going to give you one more chance to leave and then you're going to go in handcuffs. Do you understand? >> I'm going to call 911. Don't touch my phone. >> Now we're going to jail. >> You're touching ME AND I DIDN'T DO NOTHING WRONG. YOU'RE ABOUT TO GET IN TROUBLE for real. >> What the [ __ ] are you touching me for? >> WHAT THE [ __ ] ARE YOU PUTTING ME ON THE FLOOR FOR? >> Stop resisting. Stop resisting. >> What are you putting me on the floor? >> Stop resisting. >> Why am I arrested? Why am I >> STOP RESISTING. >> WHY AM I ARRESTED? >> You got that? >> Why am I arrested? She actually tried to call the police on. The officers standing right in front of her. The resistance came from pure entitlement. The belief that paying money equals power. But reality doesn't run on personal feelings. And the law sure doesn't either. >> Arrested. Why am I arrested? >> You have my whole coochie out. >> Why am I arrested? >> Sir, >> you good? >> Yeah, I'm good. >> Sir, why am I arrested? >> I'll tell you. Yeah. PUT ME YOU PUT ME HAND GHOST BEFORE YOU to before you read my Miranda rights. >> Yep. >> You're going to >> Don't need to Don't need to read it, Miranda. >> All right. You'll see. >> Let me know when you're ready. >> I didn't do nothing wrong. >> I'm not going to tell you. >> I didn't do nothing wrong. >> For what? >> Disorderly intoxication. >> For what? >> Then you're refusing to leave. >> For refusing to leave. I have my friends in my room. >> So what am I for? >> What am I arrested for? >> Told you. Disorderly intoxication. >> What am I arrested for, though? >> It didn't. Can you tell me what I'm res? >> I've already told you three times. You haven't told me. >> Get in the car. >> I will leave. Give me my stuff and I will leave. >> Get in the car right now or you will get tased. >> I said I will leave. Can I >> get in the car? >> Can I leave? >> Get in the car. >> I have two kids. I will leave. >> Put your legs in the car right now. >> Can I leave? >> Can I leave, please? >> So, her room is 3:27. I don't know if there's kids up there >> or if the other adults are. >> She's saying some friends are up there. >> There was kids. She also said she had four kids. >> She told us that she had four kids. >> She had two. >> She was with adults down there. >> Two women and one guy, I guess. >> Okay. >> What am I for to you? >> Well, you just now a felony. >> I did nothing to you. I did nothing to you. Turn around. >> What the [ __ ] do you mean? >> I don't know what your problem is. I did nothing to you. What the [ __ ] do you got going on? >> What do you What do you got going on for real? >> Really? >> What do you got going on for real? >> You're arresting me for what? >> You're going to be a little tighter then. >> For what? For what? >> Told you a million times. >> For what? For what? >> Told you already. >> For us for what? >> I'm not unarresting you. >> For what? >> Disorderly in talks. >> Disorderly in talks. What? I didn't do nothing to you. >> Get inside there. >> I didn't do nothing to you. >> Can you stop talking to >> I did nothing to y'all? What do you mean? I did nothing to you. I did nothing to you. >> I'm going through enough and I did nothing to you. >> Oh my god. >> Can you get my friend, please? >> They're in my room. >> Watch your knee, please. >> Thank you. >> That misplaced confidence pushed her from difficult guest straight toward dangerous behavior. When officers shifted to statements from resort security, objective details started lining up. And at that moment, there was nowhere left for the story to hide. >> With her friends, one of her friends got up to walk around and get in the pool. And I just mentioned to her friend that she needed. Her friend was perfectly cool and her other two friends are perfectly cool. She spun around and went off on me about how she's got a villa here and blah blah blah. And every time I see her, I've never seen her in my life, okay? >> But she's like, "Every time I see her, you're harassing me and I got a villa here. I should have [ __ ] and so then her friends got her calmed down I think and she left. >> So she's swearing and yelling at like in front of like at the pool area in front of kids and everything. >> Then she left and her friend the guy friend came up and was like I appreciate you. She's going through all this. I'm like fine. So I was in the park walking around and then right underneath the slide she came in the park and found me and started screaming at me. Screaming at me. So I >> What was she saying? Oh, that I would never to talk to her and she'd already complained at the manager and I was going to lose my job and on and on. >> Like literally yelling. >> Scream. I mean, scream. >> I'm glad you're here. >> She was trespassed. Okay. >> Okay. >> Which means >> her at the pool though. >> But listen, she didn't come with us. She had an I don't have a >> Her name is on the room. >> I don't have a physical ID. >> It's her dad. It's her dad. She didn't have a physical and we were all together earlier. >> How long until he gets here? He's almost >> said 20 minutes >> and they the manager downstairs I'm not trying to >> let him talk. >> So the manager and maintenance came upstairs and said you guys have 30 minutes till your dad gets here which is her dad >> which we can't control a grown adult. We left and she's arguing at the security guard. >> But here's the thing, private property, right? They don't want you here. They're asking you to leave. >> So they going to refund the money and everything else? They can, but you're going to have to take that up on a different day or even later today if you want. She didn't pay for this. >> They need to refund it. >> I understand. And they will. >> I'll call my lawyer. That's >> Hello. >> I'm call my lawyer right now. This is [ __ ] >> Okay. So, >> all right. So, real quick. >> No, I'm call my lawyer. >> Since everyone's just been a headache today, this is what's going to happen. Okay. >> Let them let them call. >> Everybody needs to go. All right. As far as your money's concerned, you can get that back at a later date. I'm sure it's they got a lot of money here. I'm sure they can refund you. However, for today, everybody needs to leave right now. Okay? They can get like 5 minutes to finish packing. >> But everybody's got to leave this room right now. Leave the property. Okay. >> Can we still get a explanation? >> I haven't been there. >> Not from you. >> Okay. [clears throat] >> Yeah. I haven't been here yet, so I don't know what's going on. >> Okay. Well, I'm sure someone can fill you in when you do get here, but I'm just letting you know for when you get here. That's what's what's happening right now. Okay. >> Can I >> Well, they got nothing to do with me. I mean, I can say my son, right? He's 9 years old. >> He's 10. Wait, her little brother. >> You might have to get another room. >> Or you can just talk to the front. >> Her friends tried to distance themselves, telling police they'd already left while she was still arguing with security. The officers shut that down quickly, making it clear, you don't dodge consequences just by walking away from the chaos you helped bring. >> My 11. Walk this way. >> I don't remember. I don't remember. You'll be able to get it out of your phone if it's in your phone. >> You okay? Put your feet underneath the step for me. >> Are you the subject? Can I talk to you for a second? >> We haven't talked. >> Okay, listen. >> I We haven't talked. Am I >> Watch your shins? Watch your >> I know, but can I talk to him for a second? >> You can talk to him and stuff. Keep going. >> No, no, no. Keep your feet underneath your step. Just like that. >> Can I talk to you? >> Look towards the van. >> You can look and talk. Okay. >> Did I talk to you? I did nothing wrong. I went I went to I went to the manager in the office and I did nothing wrong. I didn't >> I didn't cuss nobody out or anything. I have an autistic baby at home and I have my son at home. I don't understand why I'm getting arrested. >> Intoxication. >> What do you mean? I have a hotel. What do you mean? I'm I'm intoxicated. What do you mean? >> I can smell it. Smell what? That I had a dream. I'm not intoxicated. I've not shown no signs of intoxication. I got upset that I paid $400 for a room and they we're trying to The guy was trying to kick me out for it. >> I will leave. >> I will leave right now. >> I have two. >> I have two kids at home. Please. In the end, the woman was taken to jail and charged with disorderly intoxication and criminal trespass. Despite multiple chances to leave peacefully, her oversized ego drove her straight into criminal charges and a permanent ban from the resort. So, what do you think? What's a fair consequence here? The file closed with handcuffs. Somewhere else, alcohol was already steering another driver toward the next bad decision. On December 1st, 2024, police were called out after neighbors reported loud, disorderly screaming. When officers arrived, they found an intoxicated woman and her car sitting in a ditch, creating a clear and immediate risk [music] to public safety. >> Okay. I mean, your pants are unbuned. >> I am. I just >> had a few drinks. >> I have not at all. >> So, how did you get here? >> I had to take a piss. My ways cut me off right here. I'm sorry. I just need to get home. >> You need to get home. I mean, how did you your ways cut you off here and it did you ain't been drinking? >> It didn't cut me off at all. >> So, how much you have to drink tonight? >> Nothing. I've had one drink. >> Okay. I mean, >> yes, it is something, but Oh my god, it was dead. Please. >> I can't help you. You need to call tow truck. >> But nothing. >> Okay. >> That impairs my ability to drive. >> Okay. Well, you can't even open up your car door right now. >> It's locked. >> Yeah. Oh my god. >> I mean, you can't reach in the back window right there and unlock the door. The window's down. How about that? >> I know it is. >> Okay. So, reach in there and unlock your door and grab your phone. >> Sir, I can't I can't reach. You can't The window's down. Look at this. The window's down right now. >> I'm aware, but I can't reach in to grab my [ __ ] unlock. >> Okay. You can't unlock your door from right here by reaching your arm in. I'm going to let you do that since it's your car. Yeah, but I >> Man, stand back over here cuz you you're not making sense right now. You're being I don't even know what right now. >> It's crazy. I just did it. How old are you? >> There's somebody that could come pick you up. >> If you want your >> Okay, please hold on. >> No, ain't no hold on or go to jail. >> No, you got 30 seconds. >> Police officer. >> No, it don't work like that. You could have killed somebody and put it on speaker phone so we can talk to him. No. Hey, put it on speaker. Go ahead and do a do investigation on him. >> Now trying to call my What's the address? >> This could be November Hotel Lima 1455919. Let me see that real quick. >> Ma'am. >> Hello. >> This is Corps at the sheriff office. Are you able to Hey, I'm spamming your daughter for giving her a DUI. Can you come pick her up? Her in her vehicle up at 32nd Avenue and 12th Street. Hey, >> you're about to go to jail. If you wake up every If you wake these people up, you're about to go to JAIL FOR DISORDERLY. WHAT HAVE I DONE? You're done. Ma'am, she's about to go to jail. Hold on. Can you please tell me Stop being loud? Listen to me. Listen to me. Shut your mouth. Listen. >> Rude. Okay. >> Okay. You want to go to jail? Look what you did. >> Jeez, >> dude. Ma'am, you got 30 seconds [laughter] to come get her. >> WHAT HAVE I DONE? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? LOOK AT THIS. And you're being loud. You're waking the people up. Be quiet. >> When an officer proactively called her mother to explore a way to avoid a DUI charge, it was a genuine gesture of goodwill. Instead of cooperating or showing any appreciation, the woman suddenly erupted for no real reason. That reaction burned through what little patience the officers had left. >> She's coming. >> She's coming. Ma'am, be here. We're I'm sparing you. Trying to help me up. Just shut up. You wake UP. >> WHAT HAVE I DONE? WHAT HAVE I DONE? WHAT HAVE I DONE? >> OKAY, I'm arrest. I don't care. I was just I'm sorry. >> No. No. It's We're past that point. I tried to tell you be quiet. >> Okay. I'm sorry. You're going to be disrespectful. How old are you? >> I'm 19. >> You're 19? Okay. You're not supposed to be drinking at all. I know. >> Okay. >> You're driving that car and you crashed it into the ditch over here. >> I'd like to see my mom. >> Okay. Were you driving the car? >> Please. I'd like to see my mom. >> That's not an option right now. I have no idea. >> Are you will Are you willing to take some field sobriety exercises? Are you willing to Okay. >> She kept calling out mommy like it was a magic word. Convinced that motherhood somehow outranked legal authority as the sobriety test began, she blamed everything but herself. Weather, stress, timing, classic deflection that showed her effort to dodge responsibility was ramping up fast. >> I'm going to ask you this. Okay. >> Sorry. >> Listen. I'm going to ask you this. >> Okay. I'm going to ask you this. Okay. Are you listening? Listen to me. I need you to put your feet together and your arms at your side. Okay. >> Okay, sir. >> You see this little red light right here? >> Yes, sir. >> I need you to follow with your eyes and your eyes on me. Okay. >> Wait. Can you just give me a second? I'm really scared. >> Okay. >> Can we wait until my mom to get me to get here? >> That's not how that works. Okay. >> Okay. Just give me a second to calm down, please. >> I'm ready. >> Okay. Put your arms at your side. >> Okay. >> All right. You see this red light? Follow with your eyes and your eyes only. Would you like to Would you like to do that with your boots off or with your boots on? >> Can I do it with my boots off? >> Yes, you can. >> I have I have heels on. >> Right here. Just right here. Take them off. Right here. >> I need to have a my You're either taking your shoes off or you're leaving them on. Come on. >> Can you just give me a second, please? >> Okay. You shouldn't be scared. There's >> I said there you should be scared. >> No, I said you should not be scared. There's nothing to be scared about. >> Okay. Mommy on her way. Is my mommy on her way? >> Yeah, she's on her way. >> All right. Go ahead and slip your shoe off. >> You could slip it off from there. >> I am trying. >> I know. You could slip it off from there. >> How far is my mom? >> I don't know. Take off your shoe, please. give you mine coin. >> No, >> please. Please. I want my mommy. Please. I want my mommy. I just want my mommy. Please. I just want my mommy. Please. >> All right. Come on. Your left and your right. Touch your heel to toe. Put your arms up. At this point, stalling stopped working. Her body was clearly giving her away. The delay tactic, waiting for family to step in, lost its power. And the walk and turn test exposed a truth no amount of talking could cover up. >> I'm not I'm not yelling at you. Okay. I am talking to you nicely. >> I just want my >> Okay, but that's not happening right now. You're an adult. This is what happens. This is the consequences. >> All right. Hi. >> So, Cor from kids in the sheriff office got a call out here. She was She woke up. >> Sorry. >> Yep. It's okay. I'm sorry. So, she woke up several neighbors yelling. People thought disturbance was going on. I come up to her. I know she's young. Try to give her a benefit. Get cut her break. She had a few. >> Okay. >> Remember when you said you were an adult, right? >> I am. >> Okay. So, let's go ahead and finish this. So, put your left foot on the line and your right foot in front. >> I'm scared, sir. >> Okay. There's nothing to be scared about. >> There is no You guys are being mean. >> I'm How am I being mean to you? I have not been mean to you once. I have not even yelled at you. I let you take your shoes off. I let you take 10 minutes to take your shoes off. >> Okay. I've been nice to you. I haven't yelled at you one time. >> I want my mom. >> Okay. Can you put your left foot on the line and you're going to take nine heel to toe steps down that line? Okay. It's going to look just like this. All right. You got to count out loud in the following man keeping your eyes on your feet. Okay. It's going to look just like this. One, two, three, so on and so forth till you get to step nine. No, listen to me, please. Okay. >> No, no, no. >> Seven, eight, nine. >> Okay. So, next exercise is stand right here for me. Face me. >> I There's more to this. Okay. I'm >> scared. >> Can you come right here for me? Okay. >> All right. Face me. Put your feet together and your arms at your side. >> Okay. Arms at your side. What I'm going to have you do is you're going to raise either foot, whatever foot you're comfortable with, >> about 6 in off the ground. Okay. >> So cute. Listen to me, Ella. Okay. There's no reason to be scared about. Okay? >> Because I'm scared because I'm shaking. >> Okay? There's nothing to be >> The gap between her desire to appear sober and a body still ruled by alcohol created an awkward, clumsy performance. Instead of owning the mistake, she shifted into passive aggression, interrupting officers and firing off pointless questions to claw back a sense of control she'd already lost. Scared. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Are you ready? >> Yes, sir. >> All right. Go ahead and begin when you're ready. Okay. >> 1 2 3. >> All right. Go ahead and stop. All right. Your next exercise. What I'm going to have you do is put your fingers just like this. Look at me. Can you look at me? >> All right. Look at me. Put your fingers just like this. Your index fingers. And and face them just like this. Okay. What I'm going to have you do is I'm going to have you tilt your head back when I tell you to begin. Okay. And close your eyes. Close your eyes and tilt your head back. Left. No. No. the tip of your finger to the tip of your nose. Just like this. >> Okay. I'm sorry. Okay. I'm sorry. >> And then I'm going to say right. >> I'm sorry I misunderstood. >> No, you're fine. Okay. Go ahead and tilt your head back. Close your eyes. All right. Right. So, what I'm going have you do next, put your hands at your side. Tilt your head back. Close your eyes. And I need you to count to 30 in your head. Okay. But I need you to tell me when you start and when you end. Okay. >> Start. >> Behind your back. Okay. >> No. She I'll go see if she wants to talk to you because she she's pretty upset. >> Mom. >> Yep. >> Here. Hold on to her for a second. >> Mommy, please. Mommy, >> please. You're okay. >> No. >> Stop moving. >> You're okay. >> Mommy, please. >> I promise you're okay. >> I know you are. You're okay. I need I know I know you're okay. The police are okay. They're okay. >> I need you to I truly baby I need you to take a deep breath. You're okay. Sorry. >> I know. >> Ella, you are okay. >> I am here. I'm going to walk with you. Okay. We're going to walk together. I know where you're at. We're good. We're good. >> All right. I got to I got to search real quick. >> Look at me. Please look. >> No. Stop. Stop calling me. >> ELLA, I NEED YOU. >> I CANNOT bring the [ __ ] out. >> Mom, promise you, but you keep holding on to me. >> Sit in the car. Get in the car. Ella, >> can I talk to you? Right here. Right here. In the car. >> I'm getting in the car. I'm getting in the car. >> You are going to BE CHARGED. >> I'M IN THE CAR. >> DO NOT LOOK that way. >> Can I please talk to my mother? >> Mom. >> Ella's night didn't end at home. It ended in the county jail. She was formally charged with driving under the influence and nonviolent resisting an officer. If convicted, she could face fines of up to $1,000 and court-ordered community service. But the most expensive lesson for this 19-year-old wasn't written in the statute books. It was learning that the world doesn't run on how loud you scream and that public safety never has to bow to anyone's ego. Before that roadside lesson could even settle, over at Walmart, anger was already turning into another round of unreasonable demands. On August 24th, 2024 in Wisconsin, police responded to a Walmart in Wauaaw following an incident involving a 42-year-old woman named Kenya. She believed years of spending entitled her to special treatment. But when the line between shopping and theft disappeared, reality stepped in. >> What's that? >> She's at the service desk right now. >> Okay. Which one? >> Um, she just started stealing. She was using a different ticket to protect tickets for a bunch of clothes. Okay, >> we pulled her in here. She's checking off instead of being this job cuz she's running now. So, >> okay. So, she has so she has a legitimate return right now. >> She's returning Well, she never paid for it anyway. So, she's returning the stuff that she used. So, she used like $10 short ticket, right? She had return. >> Hi. >> Hey. >> Hey. We got to talk to you. >> No, you don't. You can't go home. Don't walk with them like that because you don't know me. We don't got no problem. I just got done exchanging everything. They got everything together. This is what's paid for. I just like to find them. >> Okay. So, what's the misunderstanding? >> Cuz he said I under wrong, but they can't find these shorts. Like I told him, I'm going to pay for everything I just spent. $500 in here. >> 250 in one line and 200 another line. He said I under wrong, but how did I underr so I pay for everything else full price besides two [ __ ] joggers? Get the [ __ ] out of here. And I'm telling you the same thing I told him. I don't play no games. I got a ticket to son. He watched everything. He said that clearly I underrun that. But I didn't. Everything is there. >> These shorts right here like some sweatshirts and stuff like that. So that's why she doesn't have any $10 ticket. >> And that's what I was talking about. saying I mean she's she has like the actual other ticket in her hand and she's like putting it in front of the thing scanning it but this is later. So >> okay >> so she got she tried taking >> Oh I guess the things that she was trying to >> so it came out to about 80 something I think. >> Do you have that uh receipt? >> Yeah. Do we? Yeah. >> She tried to muddy the waters. Receipts merchandise confusion hoping to sell the story as an innocent mistake. Officers had seen this play before. What she thought would fool people only sharpened the picture and pushed her closer to consequences she couldn't dodge. >> Well, it sounds like you didn't actually buy shorts. >> And this is what I'm telling him. I did have one pair of shorts for $5. They're in there on the counter. The other pair was army for tea. They were over there on the counter. Everything I did on this lady is over there. All the receipts, the the lounger, everything, everything is over there. Every single thing. >> So, how did how did four or five different shorts? >> Because for one, you're missing. This is a totally different record. These are all They're supposed to be on clearance, I guess. So, these are all the things that I grabbed out of the store. So, that's what they rung up as. And like I told him, I got all the items right here. So, if it rung up, you see, I rung it plain as day. Every single item, every one. But I'm not going to. And this is what I'm saying. So all I'm saying, all you had to do is come to me. Freaking out. >> I wasn't even going to call the cops. >> And listen, I don't even care about you guys. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. Um, we are going to have to take you into custody. >> For what? >> So you came for the missing. >> Hold on. Wait. Hold on. Wait. Stop. Don't grab it. Come on. Wait. I'm not I'm not fighting with you. >> Fight with me. You're under arrest. >> Excuse me. Wait. >> You're under arrest. Listen. We're not fight. >> Stop. Because I didn't under ring. What is y'all talking about? First of all, let go of my No. Hold on. [ __ ] No. >> Kenneth, you're under arrest. >> Stop. First of all, HOLD ON. >> YOU ARE UNDER ARREST. >> STOP. LISTEN. PLEASE. I'm telling you. Listen, it's like you don't got to do all this. >> Please stop. You are under arrest. >> I understand that. But please stop. Stop fighting with us. >> I'm not fighting. I'm just telling you to shut up. >> I don't have no problem with that. I don't got >> your stomach. >> I don't got no problem with that at all. But y'all are not going to just man handle me like this for no [ __ ] reason. It's my baby's birthday. Y'ALL SICK AS A >> She pulled her child into it as an emotional shield, casting police as villains ruining a family moment. The truth was simpler and harsher. The theft did that all on its own. When the script collapsed, she resisted aggressively, forcing officers into a tense physical takedown. What >> are you using? >> Put your Why are you back? >> Why are you taser? >> Taser. Taser. Taser. >> For what? For what? Why are you >> What are you? >> Get your hands BEHIND YOUR BACK. HATE ME. >> Get your ASS OUT OF YOUR >> WHAT THE [ __ ] IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHAT DID I DO? >> What are YOU DOING? YOU'RE UNDER A ROCK. >> WHAT ARE YOU DOING? What the [ __ ] are you doing? What are you doing? >> What are you doing? Take my phone. Take my phone. >> Just take my phone. Just take my phone. Put your hands. >> Just take my phone. Listen, when I say you lost your [ __ ] mind, >> put your hands behind your back and then cl >> You're under arrest. >> What do you mean? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hands down. >> Tasha, please record this. Please record this because she's nearing me and punching me. Tasha, record it. >> RECORD IT. >> RECORD IT. TASHA, she choking me. She kne me. LOOK AT HER. >> LET'S GO, KENYA. HELL NO. DO IT NOW. >> You crazy as a mother. >> Okay. You're not about to take this. >> Oh my soul. She not done twice already. >> Let's go. >> YOU'RE GOING TO kill me. My god. >> Give me your HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> WHAT is wrong with y'all? >> Hands behind your back. >> What? What? >> Hands behind your back. Keep them there. >> Stop resisting. You mean we lands behind your back. >> Get down on the ground in your stomach. >> Baby, my gift card and everything. I'm not resisting. I am a pregnant woman. >> Why did you say my wrist like that? I'm a pregnant woman. I don't got no problem. >> Backed into a corner, she played another highstakes card, claiming she was pregnant. But the level of resistance exposed the contradiction. It was an attempt to rewrite reality where officers were the aggressors and she was the victim deserving sympathy and protection. >> Lay on my side. I can't lay on my phone. I'm pregnant. I can't lay on my phone. I'm pregnant. I'm not refusing. I'm not refusing. I am a pregnant woman. >> Taser. >> I am a pregnant woman. >> Taser. [screaming] I didn't do nothing. >> I didn't do nothing. >> Relax. >> I didn't do nothing. >> Relax. Listen. >> That's five times they talked. >> That's five times they t me for nothing, y'all. For absolutely nothing. They t me for nothing. When I say for nothing, that Oh, god damn. Damn. them was the volunteer >> and she punched me. >> Damn. >> Kenya, just relax. >> All of this because I did not I did not steal >> 16. You have an ammo coming. >> Why are you pushing my wrist like that? >> You're not relaxed. You're fighting fighting. >> I'm definitely relaxed. I'm not fighting at all. >> Relax. >> Y'all dead ass wrong. When I say y'all dead ass wrong, I mean y'all dead ass wrong. >> Bring your ankles together. >> Her stubborn refusal to comply led to multiple taser deployments. Yet she still failed to grasp that her own actions had driven the outcome. Even after losing physically, the arrogance remained, grasping for psychological control, blind to what was plainly unfolding. Old time police stone. >> Yeah. Okay. >> That is crazy. >> Hey, >> get you some better training, Miss Lady. You didn't have to punch me. You didn't have to punch me. You didn't have to knee me because I wasn't resisting. You had no right to put your hands on me. None whatsoever, Miss Lady. Because I wasn't resistant. I didn't lay on my stomach because I was pregnant. When you told me to slide down, I slid down, but I didn't get on my stomach. She punched my soul. >> Hey, for everything. Everything. That's their fault. That's they fault. They let you leave. She is in the lower abdomen there. >> I was ready to leave. I paid for everything. >> Our way back with a seat. >> Y'all did all this [ __ ] >> Let's in the lower abdomen. So, let's wait. >> I paid for everything. I came in this [ __ ] with $500. >> The officer grab it on me. that [ __ ] out. >> Snap that [ __ ] out. All this at Walmart for me. >> Well, you're you're resisting. Can you >> I didn't resist though. I didn't resist. I did not I >> After receiving medical treatment, she was transported to jail facing a heavy slate of charges. Repeat retail theft, repeat resisting an officer, and attempting to disarm a police officer. With an extensive prior record, the court handed down a fitting sentence, 10 months in jail, and 3 years of probation. Her case is a cold reminder. No amount of spending buys you immunity, and entitlement never outranks the law. As Walmart fades out with that free pass fantasy shattered, the camera cuts to a drunken princess. On January 3rd, 2025 in New Mexico, police responded to a collision involving a woman and an [music] 18-wheeler. Faced with the scene and some very telling signs, she chose to argue from a place of personal rights. Reality, however, wasn't on her side. >> What happened? >> I got a crash. I wasn't paying attention. I apologize. >> Okay. Oh, you getting a crash. >> I just wasn't paying attention. >> Where were you coming from? >> Coming this way. Coming that way. >> Coming from which way? >> Okay. Are you all right? >> I'm fine. >> Okay. So, another thing is I I smell alcohol from here. How much have you had to drink today? >> No. >> None. Your eyes are also extremely diverse. >> Okay. All right. So, you haven't had nothing to drink today. So, what was with the what's happening here? >> So, I'm going to be honest. You already showed multiple signs of intoxication. I already smell it. I'm dropping it all over the floor. You have a bottle. Assuming that might be it itself. I'm not 100% sure, but you have it. I can smell it pretty intensely. So, step outside of the vehicle for me. Plus, your vehicle's crashed. What are you gonna do? >> Call the right. >> Okay. Step outside of the vehicle. >> I don't. >> You're not going to step out? Okay. Is there any reason why? >> Because I don't legally have to. >> You don't legally have to. Okay. So, I'm letting you know now you do. I don't want to also charge you with resisting as well as I don't want to drag you outside of this vehicle. Okay. So, cooperate with me and step outside of the vehicle. Okay. No. So, as of right now, I have enough to go ahead and believe that you are under the influence. Okay. So, that's my probable cause to believe. Now, what I would like to go ahead and do is just make this as simple as possible, which is continue my investigation for you drinking while driving itself. Okay. So, there's a couple of tests I would like to go ahead and do. Would you be willing to go ahead and do those tests for me? When commands were issued, she didn't confront the fact that she just caused a crash. Instead, she zeroed in on one question. Who has the authority to order me around? Feeling her sense of importance challenged, the tone shifted. Karen moved from polite to combative and the tension climbed fast. >> I'm asking you very nicely. I'm giving you further. >> Okay. Step outside of step. Yeah. Back. Really? >> Yes, ma'am. I I gave you plenty of options to step out. >> Really? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Really? >> This way. >> Yeah. Can we talk about this? Can we do it straight away? >> All your jewelry. Can we take it off so that we don't detention center? 15. >> All right. So, there's a little blood on you, so I'm still going to get medical just to come take a look at you. Okay. >> It's on your finger. I don't think you can see it. So, I'm tired. >> It's a little injurious. So, go ahead and step inside. I'm going to have a medical team. >> We We passed that up. >> Okay. >> Like I said, I asked you very nice. I didn't want to drag you out of your vehicle and all that. >> Please sit down. >> You are right. I can smell it on you. >> Have a seat. Again, I'm being very respectful. >> Put your other foot in. >> I know, but >> Okay. So, >> so this one I'm about to tell you something. You're under arrest for driving while intoxicated. So, in the new the New Mexico implied consent requires you to submit to the breath test where your insurance is for the crash report. It should be right in the front right corner >> like the >> driver. Yeah. >> Do you know what company it's with? >> It should be through I'll see if I if I can get my hand. >> Um >> No, it's not. It's >> your phone. Where's your phone? Do you want to take your phone? >> It's not there. It's not there. >> So, you don't have a phone at all? >> Okay. Do you need me to take anything else? Cuz the keys are going to stay with the vehicle. Everything's going to stay with the vehicle. It's going to be towed. Um, >> that's why I'm asking for your phone. >> Yeah, that's something like that. >> As the stubborn performance ended with the click of handcuffs, a clear disconnect came into focus. Rather than worrying about the consequences of driving drunk, she fixated on her work iPad and on presenting herself as a professional who works with seniors. >> To get medically cleared, you could tell them no in there, but we have to bring you anyways. >> Why? >> Uh, because you're involved in an accident. It's just medical clearance cuz if we take you to the detention center, they're going to tell us the same thing that we have to bring you here first before you uh get booked. >> What do we have to do for >> just any injuries that you have? >> What What injury do I have? >> That's what you would tell them. You just tell them I didn't have any injuries. I tell them what happened and then they get you medically cleared and make sure you're okay and that's it. It'll take like five. Thank you. >> Excuse me. 11. >> Oh, we could go. >> We're done. >> So, we'll have a screwdriver over there. >> Okay. All right. If I can make a call, not one. Okay. >> Call mom. Let's put on speaker. >> Yes. Hello. >> Hey, Mom. I'm okay. Don't >> I know. I just was on the phone with the the uh hospital. I know you're there. What's going on? We're at the police station. They're supposed to be meeting us. >> I know. I was in a car accident. So, there I'm going back there. I have to stay there. And it's I'm okay. But yeah, I was in a car accident. >> Okay. So, I know. Uh where are you? You're at Memorial. >> I'm at Memorial. Yeah. >> Okay. And so did we need to go pick you up? >> No, they're trying to say a DUI, which there was no alcohol anywhere, but >> Okay. So, >> so, um, so why are you at the hospital? >> Cuz they made me get checked out cuz I had to hang now with some blood. >> Okay. And then where will you be going? >> To jail. >> Okay. So, what do we do come tomorrow? And >> I have to wait to see a judge. >> The most revealing moment came during a call to her mother. She didn't ask about the condition of the 18-wheel driver, nor did she truly check on herself. Instead, she spun a distorted version of events aimed at protecting her image in her family's eyes. >> Okay. >> Or anything, so I guess that's >> okay. All right. Well, you're okay. >> No, I'm fine. I'm completely fine. I sat in the freaking hospital for an hour and a half till they got me out of there for a hang. Yeah. No, they've been very cooperative. They've been nice. I'm not. >> Okay. Okay. So, you're you're okay. They're okay cuz your friends have been calling and they're worried about you. So, I'll just let them know that you're at the hospital and >> No, just let them know. Well, whatever you just let them know I'm >> you're they already know you're okay. But, um it only tracks you to the hospital cuz we've been at the detention center. We've been at the police station now. >> Yeah. Well, now they're going to go back to the detention. >> They know you're fine. And then uh if you need, you know, whatever, if there's anything you need or any way for me to see you or whatever, call me this weekend. And otherwise, um we'll take care of the dogs. And um I don't know what else you would I I'm going to have to go through the doggy door. I don't think I have any other way to get into the house, but I will feed and take care of the dogs tomorrow. >> You can Dan has the code to the garage, and you >> So you can go in just a little Phillips screwdriver. Yeah, seriously, I'm I'm not even kidding. Do you have one on your >> Okay, I still have one at the test. >> Yeah, but >> So, do you uh Is there anything else that you need done besides the dogs fed? >> No, that's fine. I just need to go back for my patients Monday. >> Okay. All right. >> Find out. Tell her to find out if I can get her out on bail. >> Well, she says she does. >> She can she can. >> Okay. Well, he's Arlando's telling me to see if he can get out on bail, but um I know what he told me. So, um but if there's anything we can do, let me know. Otherwise, we will take care of the pets and then as soon as you can get a hold of me, please get a hold of >> You're okay, ma'am. Don't cry. >> Bless you. Are you okay? Are you crying? >> The peak of entitlement showed when she complained about having to sit in the hospital for an hour and a half over a broken fingernail while completely ignoring the reality that she had nearly caused a fatal crash. [music] It was her way of building an alternate reality to dodge shame and moral responsibility. Did she get to where you were going? >> No. I guess now see my patient. >> Take a right. Just look at the door. Please. I don't know the hospital. >> Yeah. Can't reject it. And then you're being charged with the red light and In the end, the woman faced multiple charges, DWI, failure to obey traffic signals, careless driving, resulting in a crash, and refusal to submit to a breath test, triggering an automatic license suspension. She spent 90 minutes in a hospital griping about a nail. But she may spend months, even years, dealing with a criminal record and a collapsed reputation. What do you make of her little performance? Is 7 days in jail or a few thousand in fines enough to sober up a privileged, drunk princess? One princess locks herself inside a car. Elsewhere, another drunk woman parks with steel and impact. On March 10th, 2024 in Bingington, Illinois, police received a call from the parking lot of what is normally a quiet, peaceful church. A woman believed her life story was enough to bend the rules. What happened next told a very different story. >> He's walking over to her car right now. Our our suspect, too, if he believes, is possibly 55. Okay. Okay. >> I'm going to run home with my friend to get all my information. >> I'm sorry. >> I live right down the street, so I'm going to run home with my friend to get all my information. >> Okay. Do you don't you have your license on you? >> No. >> Okay. Is your friend go your friend's going over there now? >> Mhm. >> Okay. All right. I'll just get some basic information for you for right now. >> What your name is? >> Diane. >> Diane. Or I guess they just explain what happened to the best of your recollection. >> Um, I was just pulling in and I banged the front of the car because my phone slipped off. >> You banged the the front of that car? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I don't cuz obviously there's uh there's some damage on this one. Place the plates all crumpled. It looks like you have corresponding damage here along with red trans red paint transfer which would indicate that you that you struck this vehicle. Okay. Yep. And then you pulled forward and and then struck this vehicle it looks like. So you hit two cars standing outside your vehicle. >> You were already parked. You were already parked, right? >> Already. My wife se I'm the open door. >> Okay. Don't worry about what's happening. >> But your vehicle was already parked. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> She appeared oddly unfazed as if she just turned a reckless act into a harmless technical mishap. To Karen, it was no big deal. To the people affected, it was real damage. Repair bills easily running into the thousands, especially without insurance. Is the damage on the back new or old? Or is that old? >> Damage on mine? >> Yeah, there's also damage on the back of the Jeep, too. Yeah. So, >> can you see the other one? >> No, I I got it. >> Did you know who it came back to? >> I haven't run it yet. Yeah, it looks like it might have it might have struck this one, too. >> One of the witnesses thought that they heard three. She was a friend to be notified or whatever. I didn't let her know. Um, but it sounds She says she lives in Park Bington. Yeah. Says we deal with >> I've been to her house before. >> She looks familiar, but I can't place a reason she's dying. Okay. Um, cuz I asked her if the damage on the back of the car was new, and she's like, "Yeah, she backed in. I didn't realize you got into this." >> I mean, it's unfortunate, but it's like it is three victims here. It's like, yeah, there's no >> Mhm. Okay. I agree. >> So, yeah. Okay. All right. We got you. You still have his ID. I give it back to him. I still took a picture of it. >> If you wanted to get back to the service real quick. Um, do you need anything for him right now? >> No, I don't think so. >> Cuz we can come in and get we can come in and get you cuz we need to just ask us a couple more questions. about what happened. So, if you want to go away inside, stay warm and we'll come get you with the paperwork and everything. His name >> I did not get his name. Um, this other officer that's right there, he's going to be the officer take the report. So, he'll have his name and everything. Um, and we'll attempt to locate the owners of those vehicles, too. The truth began to surface when witnesses confirmed that Karen had panicked and reversed, striking a second vehicle. Even more telling was the strong smell of alcohol coming from her car. Impossible to ignore. Still, she tried to stay composed, standing in front of the vehicle, waiting for a friend, as if patience alone could prove sobriety. My friend came out. She said she's working. >> She's what? She's involved in like a um people don't carry their license on them. Um >> all and >> this is one time they didn't >> Yeah. Cuz what I tell people is if something would ever happen, you know. >> Mhm. where you know you're not able to answer questions or anything like that, we would be able or like someone would be able to identify you and get help. >> Can I ask you to uh can I hold on to your coffee for you? I'm just going to place a little behind your bumper. All right. Do you mind standing right about here for me? just right over here in case. All right. So, I got to ask you a couple questions. All right. Um, so ba based on some of the the witness, you know, testimony that that we have in regards to what happened and kind of your demeanor, I got to ask you, have you had anything to drink within the last uh 24 hours? >> Yeah. Nothing at all? >> Okay. Um, do you take any type of medications or anything? Mhm. >> What kind of medications do you take? >> Um, there's kind of a long list cuz I have low blood pressure. >> Okay. Okay. What I'm asking you to do first, if you wouldn't mind, can you stand with your feet together like this and your hands down to your sides? Okay. What I'm going to do is I'm going to hold my finger up just like this. Okay. I'm going to ask you to focus on the tip of my finger. Okay. I'm going to move it from side to side. Okay. Okay. I'm going to need you to follow with your eyes and your eyes only. Don't move your head. Okay. >> Mhm. >> Start now. As soon as the eye test began, Karen's pupils showed clear signs of nestagmas. Sensing the tide turning against her, she quickly brought up a medical condition. An explanation conveniently ready just in case the physical tests ahead exposed a truth she couldn't talk her way out of. >> Our hands are a side. Do you have any uh injuries from the waist down? I >> have neuropathy. >> Neuropathy. Explain that to me. I'm sorry I'm not a doctor. >> Um the nerves. >> Nerves where? >> In your feet. Okay. So, if I asked you to to walk an imaginary straight line and then stand on one stand on one leg for or one foot for a period of time, do you think you'd be able to do that? >> Instructions? >> Mhm. >> Okay. You you can go ahead and give it a shot when you're ready. All right. Okay. Um, so the there's one more thing that I that I'd like you to do. Um, I have what we call a PBT in the car. Um, >> no portable breath test. >> Okay. Um, I'm going to ask you to provide a breath sample. Okay. Uh, as of right now, um, again, based off of witness testimony and my observations and having you do these tests, um, I believe you may be under the influence. Okay. Um, well, taking up taking taking this breath test would would dispel my suspicions. Okay. But like I said, just with the totality of the circumstances, everything that I've that I've been told, everything that I myself have personally personal personally observed, I I I have enough probable cause right now to place you under arrest. Okay? And taking a breath test is kind of a final opportunity to prove my suspicions wrong. And I and I'd like to give you that opportunity if you're willing to take it. You're not going to take it? Okay. Uh, unfortunately at that time, I'm going to ask you to turn around and place your hands behind your back and you've been under arrest for a DUI. >> Another plea followed as if the law were something still open to negotiation. Karen stepped into the preliminary breath test, not to prove sobriety, but to try and control the situation. In that moment, the line between cooperation and manipulation became unmistakably clear. >> Then, yes, you will be placed under arrest. If you don't blow, you're gonna be placed under arrest. So that that's what I'm telling you. Taking a breath test is it's it's kind of a last stitch is it's a last stitch effort, you know, an opportunity for you not to unfortunately be placed under arrest. I mean, I'm I'm giving you that option, but you has to be willing to take it. All right? It's going to be kind of like you're blowing up a balloon, but for an extended period of time. Okay, you take a deep breath in. Place your lips on the mouthpiece and strong blow. Blow. You got You got to blow. You're not Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. You're not blowing. Okay. I'll I'll hear the air escaping from this hole. Okay. It's got to be like Okay. It's got to be a strong but steady steady breath. Okay. Can you do that for me? >> Mhm. >> Okay. Take a deep breath in front of the mouth face and blow. You got to blow. Come on. You're not Diane. You're not blowing. Get deep breath in. Big inhale and a strong strong breath. Okay. Don't pull on top. Turn off. It's got to be like a Okay, it's got to be, you know, forceful like that. Okay, you're not going to be able to fool this machine. Okay, so deep breath in. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep Well, if you're not going to do this, that that's not where we're going to be headed. Okay, I give you I can give you one more chance. Can we try one more time? >> It's not me doing it to you. Try one more time. Unfortunately, this is what I mean when I say under. >> Karen's final act was an attempt to fool the device itself, believing she was smarter than both the machine and the trained officers in front of her. In the end, she faced a DUI charge. Beyond losing her license, she now faces heavy fines and a permanent criminal record. >> Gas in my air, in my tire. I tried to put gas in my tire. >> On December 4th, 2023, Florida police stopped a car after noticing all four tires were flat. The vehicle was in an unsafe condition, endangering both the driver and those around her. From a strange discovery, the incident quickly escalated into a tense situation requiring investigation. Get out. >> What are you doing? What's the matter? >> I'm trying to go up to the driver's seat. >> Wait, please. >> You're not under arrest. You're not under arrest. >> Why am I under arrest? >> You didn't say you were under arrest. You're not under arrest. Just mean the same thing. That's it. >> Be in a handcuff. >> Doesn't mean you're under arrest. >> Yes, it does. >> You're not free to go. That's basically >> mean you're not free to go. It means you're speed. >> I'm just trying to get gas uh air from my air tire because it flew out. >> It flew out. >> Yes. I was driving and I hit over the curb and it flew out. >> Do you have your ID in the car or >> No. Yeah. That's why trying to tell me. This is definitely freaking >> right here. >> I wonder if it has some >> Come here. Look at your tire. >> That look like Does that look like an air problem or does that look like something worse? >> It looks like something worse, but that's why I was trying to go to I didn't know what was going on. >> I didn't go outside my car, so I honestly didn't know what it looked like. But when I went outside my car, I saw the car going like this. So, I thought maybe it needed some air. >> Yeah, you're you're allowed. Hey, real quick. I'm no mechanic anymore. I mean, I did go to school for mechanics. >> No, I understand 100% what you're saying. >> That's a problem. >> You guys are listening to me. >> Oh, no. We're listening to you. >> I went outside of my friend's house. She has a curb over her house. So, when she when I went over the curb over her house, I hit it and it went like this. So, I was like, "Oh my god, I hit the car in my the the tire of my car." So, I feel like I hit the tire of my car. So then I went closer right here to I tried to go to the closest racetrack to put gas in my air in my tire. I tried to put gas in my tire when I went to the closest racetrack to put gas in my tire. I looked outside and you guys put me over and yes, I [ __ ] up my tire. >> Warn yourself >> 100%. >> How much did you have drinking on? >> I did not have a lot to drink. >> At first, the young woman's story sounded convincing. However, the evidence at the scene, all four tires completely damaged along with her admission of drinking, quickly shifted the direction of the investigation. When she repeatedly said, "I was trying to put gas into the tires." Officers immediately understood the level of intoxication they were dealing with. >> 100%. I had a glass of wine to drink. >> Okay, you got a glass of wine. >> I'm 100%. I had a I got a glass of wine to drink. >> Other than that, I didn't have anything else. >> Okay. What we're going to do is we're going to do some uh it's entirely up to you. We're going to do some field sobriety exercises to make sure you're okay to drink. >> Are we believe that you are under the influence of something? >> I'm not under the influence of something. >> I'm going to have I am now requesting that you do field sobriety exercises. Do you wish to do them? >> I honestly 100% don't feel comfortable because I honestly don't I don't trust it 100%. I know I had a glass of wine. >> Okay. Do you want to do field sobriety exercises? >> What does that exactly mean? >> There's a set of exercis sobriety exercises. We will step away. We will take these exercises. Okay. I will explain each one and demonstrate each one to you. >> Okay. >> Okay. In which case then you will have the opportunity to show me how. >> Okay. That's what happens. >> I have one problem. >> What's that? >> The tire. I hit this first. >> You want another >> light? >> Uh, Thor. Okay. >> Had to be the >> We're going to worry about that later. >> We'll worry about that later. >> Okay. >> I'll just start giving it to you in straight. You just put the biggest bills, whatever, and then we just organize it and then count it after that. >> I think this 100 right here. >> 100. >> My dad is a lawyer and a doctor. I know what that means and I know I'm not drunk. >> Okay, listen to me. >> I had a glass of wine. >> Listen to me. I appreciate you and >> I do understand appreciate you admitting to your glass of wine. You are 19 years of age. >> Please understand me. >> I understand you understand me. I >> totally understand you. >> Cooperation was not one of her choices. Instead, she made excuses, interrupted as if desperately trying to cover something up by mentioning her father was a lawyer and a doctor. She wasn't just defending herself, but also trying to gain psychological leverage, subtly suggesting she could beat the system. >> I don't feel comfortable because I don't feel like you're listening to me. >> Oh, there's more right here. >> You're going to talk drunk when I wasn't drunk. So let me let me >> I'm a responsible person working human being as anybody here. Listen to me. That's my point of story. I'm not trying to be a bad person. I'm not trying to interpect your job cuz I know you have a job. >> Sir, please listen to me. So >> 89. >> All right. So 110. So >> $1,110. >> Yep. >> Yes or no? Do you want to do the exercises? >> What are the exercises? You really haven't explained. >> Yes, he has. I really have. >> So, me explaining them to you right now, you're going to forget in 5 seconds. >> I'm not going to forget them in 5 seconds. >> I told you I'm going to check your eyes. >> You said that you're going to check my eyes and that you're going to do a test. That's all you say. >> I'm going to check your eyes and then I'm going to have you walk a line and then I'm going to have you hold your foot up. >> I can hold my foot up. >> Okay. >> This. >> So, do you want to take the test the exercises? >> Sure. >> Come right here. Okay. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to check your eyes. Okay. So, you're going to look at this thing with your eyes and your eyes only. Do not move your head. Okay? >> Whenever you want to. I can tell you the channel. >> Are you done with that exercise? >> I was n You said nine steps. >> Nine steps. Turn around and go back. >> Oh, you want me to go back? >> Yes. >> Good. She agreed to take the test, but continued to argue and repeatedly failed to follow instructions. This was a half-hearted approach, pretending to cooperate while looking for an escape route. [music] But the truth couldn't be hidden. Her lack of coordination, especially in the walk and turn test, clearly reflected her loss of control. >> Count out loud. 1 and2 so forth until I tell you to stop. >> You may begin. Are you going to count? >> I didn't know when you started. >> I hang on. Watch me. Watch my thousand one,002. You go ahead and count. >> 1 2 1 3. >> Go ahead and continue. Just start off with the same number that you left off with. >> 1 2 1 3 1 4 100 5 1 6 1 8 1 9 10 Okay. Are you done? >> Yeah. >> I'll be nice and I'll put him in the front. >> But why? >> Under arrest for DUI. >> But why? >> Don't we don't arrest people just for one failure. felt sympathetic. >> Yeah, but I just feel uncomfortable and everything. >> Okay, >> just I never been pulled over. >> No problem. First time for everything. Come with me. >> Sir, >> come with me. >> Please >> don't do something stupid. >> I'm not trying to do something stupid. Yeah, don't lift your arms. Just come with us. We'll come with us and we'll explain everything. >> I I'm trying for you to explain it for you. >> We're going to We're going to go We're going to go back here to my car. >> My dad has explained this to me a >> Oh, sorry. Please. Please, >> please >> don't make me tell you. >> Why did I sell my test? >> Lots of reasons. It's all going to be >> Tell me right now. >> Tell me right now. >> So, your historic your height, your uh horizontal nestagmus. Horrible. >> My this? >> Yeah, that's not paying That's called not paying attention. >> How is this not paying attention? >> Cuz I told you to lift your foot like this. Not like this. >> I left my foot like this. >> Yeah, >> I lift my foot like this. >> When arrested, the shock left her stunned and furious. Instead of accepting it, she kept asking why. as a way of showing resentment and blaming the officers. Soon after, she shifted gears, requesting a breath test, seeing it as her last chance to salvage the situation. >> I don't feel like just one second. >> Okay, how about this? I'm going to I'm going to let go. I'm going to let them take >> No, I'm just >> Yes, 100%. You're a danger to yourself and others. >> You drunk? >> I'm not drunk, though. Oh, something. >> Are you sorcerer? >> Oh, no. Actually, >> wait. Why don't you take >> Stop this. Stop this. >> You're going to get more charges. You're going to get more charges. >> You're hurting me. >> Put your hands on top of her. >> Got to pay attention. >> I'm just >> Do you want to You want to breathalyzer? >> I'd rather do that because I know problem. Have a seat. >> She's got to search you real quick. >> Depending uh >> depending what it is. >> Luke spend a life in jail now. I've never been to jail. He's going to take you to jail. >> Yeah, it's a bond. You'll be able to call somebody and you have It's literally what? $100. >> Call anybody. >> Bond. It's 500. But to get out, it's $100. >> It's on the point. >> Whatever happens with the breathalyzer, that's that's on him. Okay. So, that's what we're going to do. I need you to put your leg inside cuz we're going to go to our police department, which is 10 seconds away. It's right there. >> It's not the point. >> It is the point. >> Point. Come on. >> You're not listening to me. >> We are listening to you. Go ahead. Put your put your feet. >> I'm going to do the breathalyzer. >> I'm going to read you something. Okay. I now requesting that you submit to a lawful test of your breath for the purpose of determining the alcohol alcohol content. Will you take the test? If you explain it to me and on my lawyer, I will. >> You don't get a lawyer right now. >> I do get a lawyer. >> You get a lawyer when you go when you go to court. I'm >> requesting you submit to a lawful test of your breath for the purpose of determining the alcohol content. Will you take the test? >> If you say no, >> talk to my lawyer first. >> If you say no, you don't get an opportunity to speak to a lawyer at this moment. >> I do. >> You don't at this moment. >> You don't. >> I just want to answer one thing. If I take the breathalyzer and I pass, I can leave. >> No, because I still I still think you're intoxicated on something. >> Okay. So, I still have to spend the night. >> You don't have to spend the night. You have to go there and get bailed. >> In the end, the woman was taken to jail and charged with driving under the influence. The penalties could include fines, license suspension or revocation, and mandatory alcohol education programs. Jail time was also possible, especially if the offense was deemed severe. On June 3rd, 2023, police noticed a black Honda Civic driving abnormally, moving too slowly, and swerving. When they ran the license plate, they discovered the owner had a history of driving under the influence. Suspicion immediately rose, forcing the officer to act at once. Sorry, >> what are you doing, bro? Dispatch has been >> What is she doing? >> Girl, what are you doing? Pull over. >> Dispatch has been updated. >> What? >> We just pulled into Spring Valley. We're like 1 mile an hour. I don't know what she's doing. All right, I got it stopped. What are you doing? Why you driving all weird? You high? You drunk? Who are you? That's what I thought. What's that about? You sure you ain't drunk or high? You're not. How come you didn't want to pull over? >> That's an impossible way to pull over. >> You had two spots right over there. Oh, you are drunk or hot, ain't you? No, I'm not. >> All right, put your hands right here for me. Any weapons on you? >> All right, I'm going to check just make sure. Okay. Awkward. When confronted by the police, the young woman immediately revealed confusion and anxiety, unable to maintain logical thought, a common sign of stimulant use. However, she still cooperated and did not resist. Notably, at this stage, she was not under arrest, but only temporarily detained for investigation. Miss Bryant, I need to ask you some questions, but before I do that, I need to read you your rights because you are in handcuffs. Okay. So, you do have the right understanding those rights, do you wish to answer the questions that I have right now? Okay. I am under the impression based on how you're driving and how you're looking and standing that you are under the influence of something. I don't exactly know what, but I do believe you are. Have you taken anything at all? Okay. Do you mind? I want to I would like to conduct a standardized field sobriety test to ensure that you were in fact safe to drive. Take out these handcuffs so we can conduct the fields test. Okay. So, if you want to turn around and face the car, I'm going to take you out. All right. Watch out. I'm going to close the door behind you. So, the first test I have is pretty simple. I'm going to check your eyes. See if there's any stagmas in them. Okay. Do you wear any glasses or contacts? >> No. >> No. Okay. Do you have any kind of condition, head condition, headaches, anything like that that would prevent you from looking at the tip of this pen and following it with your eyes? No. All right. So, what I'm going to do, I would like for you to stand still, arms straight down by your side. All right. I want you to follow the tip of this pen with your eyes. Your eyes only. Don't move your head. You understand? Do you understand? All right. 10 six with a signal one check. Follow the tip of the pin. Okay? With your eyes. Your eyes only. Don't move your head. Okay? All right. Look, you're not following it with your eyes. Okay? You'll follow it, but then you'll look back at me. So, I need you to follow the tip of this. Don't look at them. Look at me. I need you to follow the tip of this. Okay? You going to follow it? >> By agreeing to take the test, she might have believed it was her chance to prove innocence or simply an act of naivity. But her weakened body made it impossible to follow even simple instructions, exposing the disconnect between willpower and physical capacity. Officers then guided her through two additional tests. >> Following the instructions, I want you to imagine that there's a line right in front of you. Okay? So on this imaginary line, if you could put your left foot on it, just like that, and then put your right foot, the heel of your right foot, right onto the toe of your left foot, just like I'm doing it. Can you do that for me? All right. So, I want you to stay right there with your feet just like that. Arms down by your side while I give you the instructions. Okay? Can you do that for me? Can you do it? There you go. All right. Stay right there until I tell you to move. Okay. All right. So, what you're going to do on this imaginary line, you're going to take nine heel to toe steps down. Take a series of smaller steps and then do nine more heel to toe steps back. Okay? You're going to keep your arms down by your side the entire time. I want you to do it just like this. Okay? So, if you have your left foot on this imaginary line, your right foot heel to your left foot toe, you're going to take nine heel to toe steps. One, three, all the way down to nine. Just like that. Okay? Can you do that? You understand? All right, go for it. All right, stand right there. I'm going let this car pass. All right, we have one more test for you. Okay, so again, no medical conditions that prevent you. >> Throughout the walking tests, the woman showed an internal struggle between the will to cooperate and her impaired physical abilities. Her clumsiness and difficulty performing even basic actions revealed a sense of despair and a battle against her own body. >> You're going to have one leg flat on the ground. The other leg is going to be in front of you just like so with your toes pointed out. And you're going to count 1 100 1 2 100 3 100 out loud until I tell you to stop. Okay? Keep your arms down by your side. Don't do this. Don't use this for balance. And keep one foot in the air. Okay? You going to do it until I tell you to stop. All right? You understand? All right. You ready? All right. You can start. All right, you can stop. All right, I'm going to put you back in these handcuffs. Okay, at this point, you are under arrest for driving under the influence. Okay. So, what's to do with all the stuff we're finding in the car? What'd you take? Cuz you're clearly on something. So, this was in the floorboard of your vehicle. You've been read your Miranda rights, correct? Do you know where this came from? You s You can sit back in the car. God, dude. She is >> Yeah, she's >> wasn't here or anything. >> She was She was tooting this. >> Oh, this is yours. >> Yeah, that No, that's mine. >> No, but like you can tell just by looking at that and then looking at this older one that was in her bag. Like she was tooting that as she was driving more than likely cuz if you look at the uh the copper wool at the end there, it's still got like some discoloration and stuff. Yeah, she was uh I saw her on the bridge on Nelly B. She was going slow as dirt and so I decided to >> After the initial shock, the suspect fell into resignation. When officers searched her car, she no longer resisted or denied anything. The smoking devices and crystal shards found confirmed the offense. Her silence was the clearest sign of giving up hope and accepting reality. >> I don't know if it's enough to test. It's pretty small. >> Oh yeah, I'll test it. Oh, dang. It's so freaking hot. Jeez, it's so hot, man. It is hot out. What was red? >> It's not supposed to be red. It's supposed to be blue. >> I know. If it's meth, but red's something else. I don't know. You have your implied consent thing. I can't seem to find it anywhere. What the heck is that? >> This is a chart. >> Where'd you get that? They're in the the supply room. They come with the kits that we have, but only one. >> If you have ingested whatever, done anything with any sort of I'm concerned that you Is there a concern that you'll overdose? Okay. All right. That's fine. I shouldn't do it. That's fine. Trying to remember if it's like cuz it kind of looks green, but it kind of looks yellow. Can't I think it's like an obvious green like that is Hey, what was that rock we found in that um tinfoil? Was it What was it? It's just a tiny little rock. I'm not going to charge you with it. I just need to know what it is. You don't know? Huh? >> Maybe it's my mom. >> I'm not. Okay, that's fine. Do you know what it is though? >> Well, okay. Whatever. Need some smell. Come on. Come on. We're here. Come on, sleepy head. I got shoe. Don't worry. It's right there. One foot. Just like that. Other foot. Just like that. That door right there. I should feel my mom here. >> Probably cuz uh she was in the back of the car that didn't have any AC. >> You don't got no AC. >> Not in the back of the car. >> Most of these people take your shoes off. >> Ain't like I bought the car myself. I drive what they give me. I have no idea how any of that works. So >> what's she here for? >> Di took something. >> Yeah. I just don't know what. She won't tell me. >> She operated. In the end, the young woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and driving while her license was suspended or revoked. She had also violated probation related to a prior possession offense. Penalties could include fines, detention, or mandatory participation in rehabilitation programs. On April 1st, 2025, police received a call from a mother reporting that her 18-year-old daughter, Autumn, had slapped her in the face. The incident was immediately treated as an act of domestic violence. [music] But when officers arrived, what unfolded was far more complicated. >> Can you go up on the front porch for a sec? I'll talk to you in a minute. >> Why do you think I wanted to die at night? >> You heard it all. >> Cuz nobody loves me. >> What's going on? >> She just got released from the hospital and I don't know why. >> Okay. >> Because she's acting like this. >> Was she pink slipped up there or something? I don't know if they pink slipped her or not, but she said she was gonna herself. And then she's acting like this. Um, she told me that I know she smoked weed. >> No, you've been there. You bought me a car before. >> She told me that um it was laced with meth and fentanyl. >> Okay. >> I don't know if she's been asleep or not. Okay. >> And if she has it, it's been 3 days. >> She just got back from the hospital though. Yeah, they released her and I don't know why. >> Okay. Was there some kind of physical fight between you two? >> She hit me. >> Where'd she hit you at? >> In the face. >> What happened? >> Cuz you deserve it. You really did. And that's how you guys try to punish me, huh? >> I'm just going to hit her cuz I know the cops ain't going to do [ __ ] I'm 18, girl. >> I don't give a [ __ ] I will actually end up going to jail for that. >> Okay. There you go. answer your hand. What am I going to do? What am I going to do? >> She's also financially my whole life. >> Like, I don't even want to hear my side of the story. >> I'll hear you side of the story. I'll talk in just a sec here. >> So, now I'm just going to jail. What about her buying me a car? Arrest her. She's bought me weed. She's bought me weed. No, she's bought me weed. Okay, I'm telling everyone in thating. Yeah, I know her full name and her address, too. She's bought me weed. She's mentally abused me. All that [ __ ] She's legally bought me weed. >> No, stop [ __ ] wrong. >> You're under arrest. >> At first, the girl was confrontational and showed no remorse. When questioned, she immediately went on the defensive, justifying that her mother deserved it. Instead of showing regret, she expressed anger and a sense of injustice, constantly blaming others to rationalize her own wrongful actions. I'm going to need you to separate your feet. All right. Do you have anything on you that's going to stick when stabbing poking me? I have to search you before I put you in the car. Okay. >> Just going to the back of my hand. >> I'm going to leave this down so you get some fresh air, okay? I just I don't need you yelling or anything. I'm going to talk to her and it's off to you. Okay. Was it more than once that she hit you like that? >> She slapped me a couple of times. >> Couple times. >> Your arm was in the way. So, I waited to hit you. >> My arm hit your hand, not your face. >> Or I was standing up and then she started hitting me. So, I like fell back onto the couch. I don't remember. >> Okay. And she continued to hit you or >> she tried to. Yeah. >> Okay. How many times would you say she hit you like that in the face? >> Three times. >> Three times. Okay. And >> that's your daughter, correct? Okay. Well, she's going to be under arrest for domestic violence. Do you have any questions for me right now? >> Can I get a written statement from you? Is that something you can do for me? Okay. Let me get you that. One sec. >> I'll be with you in just a second, dude. >> Because I'm in the back of a car. So, >> you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. >> I just let you know that I barely lie. >> Okay. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him or her present with you while you are being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before any question if you wish. You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Do you understand all of those rights? >> Oh, I can't make any aggression. >> Do you understand all those rights? >> Sure, I can reread them. >> All right. You have the right to remain silent. You understand? Okay. Anything you say can and will be used against you. When her Miranda rightites were read, the girl became irritated, repeatedly interrupting, asking irrelevant questions and making numerous demands. Officers patiently reexplained her right to remain silent and her right to an attorney, emphasizing their importance. After circling around for a while, she finally agreed to speak with them. >> Okay. So, having that in mind, do you want to talk to us? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, basically, I mean, you kind of admitted to everything while you talk to a lawyer instead. Okay. Well, you'll get the chance to do that. >> Okay. So, I know the fine. All right. Thank you. >> What about a lawyer? I'll point for you whenever I came. >> Okay. I would too. Like maybe my lawyer will be my best friend. >> Why would my whole family pick on me? >> Hospital today, right, Autumn? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> My mom doesn't love me at all. come to you. >> Yeah, I appreciate your comment. [laughter] >> That's probably him. I bet it would be. >> Yeah, I got like you're not going to come out that quick, baby. What if he's doing that? Stupid. [laughter] I love thinking. >> Everyone's like, "You think too much?" I'm like, "I don't care. That's what makes me >> health court would be a good idea. Okay, I'll I'll make that recommendation then. >> Guys, I'm bored. Can a police officer whoop your ass if you say I'm bored to them all the time? >> Yeah, that's all [laughter] I need. Thank you. >> Can you Can officer get a restraining throwing you in jail? [laughter] >> Oh, you just you arrested before? Have >> you ever been arrested for domestic violence before? Yeah. >> Do you remember if you got convicted? >> No. >> Okay. >> You know how like there's a mental hospital? >> So what if >> Yeah, I guess >> instead of sending people to the mental hospital, we just gave them all the money that they wanted. >> Her story not only revealed traces of past domestic violence, but also exposed unusual viewpoints. She claimed that mentally ill people should be given money by the government instead of being treated in hospitals. These statements gave officers a clearer picture of her instability in perceiving reality. >> Be my best friend. >> Not really. No. >> Oh, okay. So fun to just walk around. What if it was? It would still be fun. What if I told you? [laughter] Okay. And I would like, [laughter] oh my gosh, that would be I don't give a You hit your mom. She hit me and then my stepdad jumped me. Like you cannot jump a child, right? Like imagine if everyone in the family just started whooping your ass and it's like, "Well, we are your parents." All I said was [ __ ] and I've cussed in arguments all the time with them. Is it illegal for a little kid to say a bad word? >> It is not >> exactly. So why can't Well, what's your reason? Cuz I knew you would use it like that. Everyone in my family would have. And then Sean just said, "No, you're not allowed to cuss anymore." Why? So I can cuss anywhere I want as long as she's not around. Like what? That makes no sense. Do you mind? [laughter] She hates me. [laughter] Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Can I not go to jail? >> No. With this kind of charge, you have to >> The state of Ohio basically said we we would get in trouble if I didn't take it. >> But I guess on the good news, >> probably will be out tomorrow. >> Oh. most likely. You don't really get held very long for DV. The thing is though, once you're out, there'll be a protection order in place. So, you can't >> It'll be what? >> A protection order. >> So, you can't communicate with mom. You can't go to mom's house. You can't be around her. >> All right. That's actually a good ass system for me at least. I don't know about everyone else in the world cuz, you know, we all have different humors and we all have different lives. Her description of a protection order as a good system reflected her naive understanding. She may not have fully grasped the legal consequences or she might have seen it merely as a temporary way to avoid family. This perspective showed immaturity in judgment and an oversimplification of complicated relationships. >> Any kind of drugs I know. >> Yeah, but I was kind of like that before. And anyways, I was on a sex traffic and my whole family doesn't even check up on me or try to protect me from the world. Do you think rehab would help you at all? >> I really don't think I need if I can. Like I literally asked my mom if she wanted my vape after I broke her cigarettes. I'm like, "Mom, if we're quitting, we're quitting." Okay, so then why do you keep on doing it? I'm addicted. Oh, but it's okay when I'm quote unquote addicted to weed and you're not going to give me any. Like, I don't know. Both of that makes no sense. I just want to smoke. I'm not even addicted to it right now, but I do get addicted to it sometimes. [sighs] That's why I try to tell her like, "Mom, like we can be best friends. You can tell me when I'm getting addicted like and then I can stop smoking weed plain normally. [laughter] Oh my gosh. I didn't have my seat belt on. You're breaking the law. You're going to jail. >> You're going to jail. >> I got you here safely, didn't I? >> No, you're going to jail. >> Okay. >> I'm telling on you. Wasn't it your responsibility to have that seat on you? >> No, cuz I can't even put it on. >> Oh, that's fair. >> I don't know. Do I sleep on you? [laughter] >> No, I know you love it, too. Oh my gosh. [laughter] >> [laughter] >> Oh my god. Why are we to do that? I don't know. In the end, the girl was taken to jail and charged with domestic violence. Although she might be released early, she will still face serious legal consequences. Penalties include being placed in custody and being subject to a protection order preventing her from contacting or approaching her mother. On August 26th, 2023 in Florida, police received a report of gunfire near an apartment complex. When they arrived, they immediately [music] began investigating, searching for evidence, and interviewing witnesses. What seemed at first like just a routine alarm quickly unfolded into unexpected developments. >> Just one there. Wait, two. >> There's a third one here. >> Yeah. >> I'm going to go talk to that those people over there. >> Yeah. >> Did you guys hear anything? Sound like gunshots. >> Walk. You going to talk? >> Get off my block. >> It's not your block. >> Get off my block. >> Ain't your block. >> Get off my block. I I think it they're they have to do something with it. Went over there. They're like, "Get off my block. This is our block." >> There's every reason. We have every reason to. >> It ain't your block. >> Yeah. My [ __ ] >> It ain't your [ __ ] >> Take that [ __ ] off. >> What are you going to do about it? >> What are you going to do? >> Take all this [ __ ] off. What are you going to do about it? Take that [ __ ] off. What are you going to do about it? >> Are you threatening us right now? >> Take this [ __ ] off. >> Are you threatening us? >> Take this [ __ ] off. >> Are you threatening us? >> You're threatening us. >> My phone. >> Off the couch. >> Stoping us. Alpha here every day. >> Pal King 28 >> outside. >> Alpha Zulu 61. Papa Zulu on a Chrysler. >> Go ahead. >> Go ahead. Y >> my man. >> Yep. That's my man. >> We're married. >> Sergeant Valdez. >> Badge number, sir. >> 175. >> I don't give a What's your [ __ ] >> Fail Mitchell. What's your uh badge number? >> 135. >> Sorry. Don't give a Y'all try to come over here every day. Y'all bored ass. Y'all don't got shells to do. Y don't solve murder cases. Y'all don't solve rap case. They don't [ __ ] They don't even do their job. Last they saw almost four years old. >> Number one. >> Yeah. >> What's your name? >> What's your name? >> With nothing to hide, the couple displayed arrogance and defiance from the very first moment. They believed power was in their hands. that on their own territory, police were nothing but outsiders. That false belief inflated their pride, leading them to act with blatant disrespect, convinced they would never have to pay the price. >> I tell you to back up. >> Investigation. What? >> We're investigating a cause of >> Corona virus. Back up, sir. >> Call of super. >> Let me go look at your car. Let me go search your car. Let me go search. >> Call the supervisor. >> Let's go do that. Let's go. >> I am the supervisor. >> No, you're not. Go the car, man. >> Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Let's go. >> Back up. Why you so close to me? Why you so close? Back up. >> Back up. >> I suggest you step back. >> For what? >> For what? >> For what? [laughter] >> Detain for what? Detain for what? >> Damn. Who me? I can't even. >> Detain for what? My [ __ ] ain't >> bae. Get out. You pay for what? >> Smoke my [ __ ] right in front of y'all. Ugly. >> You uglier than the bill. >> For what? Uglier than the bill. >> Interfering with our investigation. >> For what car? Out of my way. >> For what car? >> What car? >> Babe, you're not even recording. >> For what car? >> Yes, I am. >> Now you're back. What car? >> Get out of my face. >> Exactly. >> You in my face, stupid ass. Got a couple more over here. >> Back up. Exactly. >> Step back. Step back. Step back. Step on. >> You keep walking up on hill. >> Get in my way again. You're going to go to jail. >> Um, I talked to somebody that was on the other side there. And >> the Hispanic guys around. Yeah, they said they heard like fireworks or what? >> They thought it sound like fireworks, but it was coming from this generalized location, too. So the skin right here >> the shirtless >> with the jeans. >> Get out of my way right in front of us. >> We dealt with her once. I don't know what for. >> We definitely dealt with her before. >> She just moved. >> I can't remember what that dumb ass got all that [ __ ] on video. on that street arrest. >> Even after being clearly warned, the suspects continued to challenge. Every word and action revealed a blind confidence that the police would not dare to touch them. In the end, all they managed to do was try to look cool in their own neighborhood, regardless of the consequences waiting for them over a dumbass gunshot. That should be anybody. >> They were all standing outside the sitting on top of the red car. >> Yeah. him and then one of the other guys in like a yellow and blue sweater over there. He was behind the red car. That's why I walked over here cuz they clear right in front of it. Since we're kind of involved, I'm going to let Albert >> and Billy 105 to do with shirt. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> All I want face. That's it. I I want >> That's it. >> You got to scoot back now. >> Okay. No, you good. You good. Get out of my face. >> Appreciate it. >> We're back. >> Move back. All right. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> There you go. >> Step back. Step back. Touching me, bro. >> I got Don't grab me. No, I'm going to grab her. I'm relaxing my sister. You're not >> No. No. No. No. No. I'm not letting my best go. I'm not let her go. >> No, I'm not letting her go, bro. Y >> record it, bro. Record it. No. Record it. >> No, baby. Record. Don't hurt her. >> When police officially made the arrest, arrogance turned into panic. The suspects were shocked when handcuffed, reacting violently at the scene. The boyfriend had already been arrested before, while some others still tried to interfere, shouting loudly to stop it. But the result backfired, and they were immediately restrained and handcuffed by the officers. >> Hey, I need you guys BREAK 28 AND 261. >> COME ON, SON. GET OFF of me, bro. It's all right. It's all right. It's all right. >> No, it's all going to get so we got to go. >> Y'all better stay back. Better stay back. Y'all better stay back. >> I didn't know [ __ ] bro. >> Go back. Y'ALL GOING TO ARREST ME FOR WHAT, BRO? >> I GOT HERE. >> HEY, LOOK. BRO, RECORD THIS [ __ ] BARRY, THEY GREEN, BRO. >> After moments of resistance, the truth finally forced the suspects to bow their heads and accept it. They kept screaming and questioning, but their voices now carried the tone of failure and bitterness. In desperation, they sought support from those around them, but clearly control had completely slipped out of their hands. >> We're going to get you into a car. >> Know that I don't care. >> Okay. So, what? >> I just don't want you kicking that close to y'all. >> Exactly. You talking about I got the right to be close to y'all. And y'all haven't dislained for. Don't >> Were you here to witness anything? [screaming] >> I just I was upstairs. I was minding my own business first and I seen them all the boys running the cops around. So I figured I'd come over and see what's going on. >> We don't need you walking everywhere, bro. That's how they get in trouble. >> Okay. They [laughter] right there. >> Right there. >> Yeah, they right there. >> We don't need Yeah. Over here. Over here. >> Hey, that's your cell phone. >> All right. I got you. Come on. >> No. No. And you're going to keep walking that way with the other young ladies at. Yep. >> Don't do that. Here, face the wall. >> Try your feet to the red little feet there. >> No, no problem. hurts me. I know pull me over. >> Why aren't you on foot? >> Mom got pulled over. And we don't need probable cause to search inside of a jail facility. >> You do. >> In the end, both were taken to jail. The man was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting, and battery on a law enforcement officer. The woman was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting without violence, and battery on a law enforcement officer. If convicted, the penalties could include up to 5 years in prison and fines of up to $5,000, depending on local law and the severity of the actions.
