But a couple things I wanted to point out is is number one, I think she did a really good job. Like you said, I think getting covers is very important in that situation. But I think she was just trying to get lead down before he got it down to her. And then she went back and and got behind the truck. And then also the male officer did the same thing. No, the male officer took off running around back of the house >> at one point. But he he did he did go up when he was in the driveway, I think, before he came around. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> You ever been shot at? >> I have, but you know what? When I got shot at, uh, I didn't really know >> it was at me instantly. It wasn't like somebody walked out. A guy was shooting at us with a rifle from about 30 yards away. Thank God it didn't hit us, >> but we heard the gun guns uh gunfire. We heard the gunfire and we heard the bullets bouncing off uh patrol car. >> Well, buddy, one time I got shot at and I was running and all I was like, "This was really going to help." I was like, "This ding ding." Because it's just automatic. You're just like, "Now, if you would have had this on, >> you could have been like Yeah. Yeah. So I I get the rapid situation, but the one guy took off and left her. >> I was in I was involved in the one shooting. We were doing a actually a a show up lineup and as we were doing the show up, we were getting rounds from about 30 yards away and we heard him hit the car and then we we hit the dirting, you know. Ding ding ding. Yeah. It was crazy. And it's it happened so quick. Yeah, >> definitely had had to, you know, draw and pull the gun and and and do all that. Um, but I'll tell you, stuff happens so quickly when you like least expect it. >> But going to her, okay, we don't know why they did good. They they parked back. They're walking up. They're talking. They didn't see him. So, you know, they wasn't really paying attention. She She drawed pretty quick. Your boy drawed and went to the left. That was smart, right? >> And she kind of was trying to get off, but I think she could have been like moving over, but again, it happened so fast. >> I totally agree.
