On March 6th, 2026, officers at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport responded after receiving a report of an employee suspected of theft. The worker had been processing fake returns, ringing up items, refunding money into her own account, and keeping the cash. >> All right. I'm Officer Garcia. I want to see you work here at the airport. Um, you are being asked to come talk to us in regards to what has been going on with Barrett's. Um Because you're being accused of something, I have to read you your rights. The people upstairs signed paperwork indicating they want charges to be filed against you. Therefore, you have to go to jail. Um so therefore, you have to go to jail. >> [laughter] >> And then you can go from there. Okay? If they can bond you out I don't know about one of you all. Now that you're going to have to sit in jail until your family can All right?
