On July 21st, 2024, officers responded to a parking garage for a call of a domestic disturbance. >> Basically, he was just telling me that they were coming out. I don't know where they were coming out. They were walking him and the girl >> that's in your car. >> Yeah. Yeah. Both of them are in the car. >> Okay. >> Yeah. He was with Tanya. >> Okay. So, basically the whole background is that two people in the car, Manny and Tanya, they're a couple. Okay. shot. >> So Tanya came out with him. >> Shut >> and then when this whole situation happened, they were walking out. I don't know what they were doing. They were talking and then they we were well we weren't here. Manny was here and he started coming out probably I think the way he was writing it. He said that they were he was deadly and >> Do you do you know him? >> No. >> So why are they in your car? >> Okay. So I think Manny's my brother and then then >> so you know them. >> Yes. You don't >> know. And Tony also doesn't know. >> They were This is like the first time they met. >> Can they speak? Can we have them come out? >> Yeah. >> Well, hey, speak with him. Just speak with him. >> Speak. >> Hey, do not put your hands on him. >> Hey, you want to work with him? He only speaks Spanish. Uh, so do you guys know him? >> No. >> You know him? Okay. How do you know him? >> He's an old friend. >> He's an old friend. Okay. What was going on today? >> Today we were just hanging out. We haven't seen each other in a while. He wanted some help earlier, so we went to the store. I just helped out. I just helped him pick out some stuff. >> Okay. >> And then we were up here. We were just talking. And then it was just time for us to go, so we come down. >> You guys were up here? >> Yeah, we were up here. >> Okay. And we were coming down and I see him down here. So I'm telling him >> you two were just up here and he was down here. >> He was down. Those two were up there. >> We were up there >> and he was >> I was just over here. They went to >> Got him. Got him. Okay. >> And then we were just right here. I was telling him, you know what? Some might go down. Um I was I basically told him I was like, "We're not together no more. I don't know why he's here. Might go down. I recommend you stay here. I don't want you to come down." >> Who are you telling that to? >> To him. >> To him. >> Yeah. I was like, I don't want anything to happen right now. >> Were you two together? >> No, we were together. They're not. They came. >> They were just Okay. >> They were together. >> Gotcha. >> Okay. So, you and him come walking down and you're here to and you're showing up. >> I was here waiting for them cuz I their car was parked here. >> So, I was just waiting for them to come down. I told her I was here. I was waiting for them. >> Okay. >> And then they came down. >> So, then then what happened? The reason I started telling him and warning him was because when I was up here, I had gotten a text telling him, "If you don't come down here, I have a bat with me. I'mma break his windshield." So when we came down here, that's >> nice to do that either. Okay. >> So when we came down here, I gave him the warning because I kind of already know it's when I go down and when I'm coming over here, he already pulls it out automatically. And then that's when starts going down. We start arguing. I'm trying not to. >> Okay. I know you already told everybody it can be frustrating to have to redeem yourself. Like what's what's going on here? >> So, this is my ex-girlfriend, the one that's telling me. >> The taller one or the >> taller taller. So, she lives with me. >> Okay. >> I have her location and they told me she was leaving. I was at work with my mom and I just I texted I was like, "Where are you going?" She told me she was coming to the mall. I found out she was with him and I don't know him. So, and we live together, so I'm worried about where she is. I came to see where she where she was. I see that their car is parked there. So, I wait for them. I had a bat with me. I told her, "If you don't come with me, I'm going to I told her like I I'll do something to his car." I didn't do anything, but I She comes down. She's like um denying coming home with me. I just want to take her home. I told her I was like, "I'm not here to argue with you." Um that happens. I uh at one point I have my bat with me, but she takes it out of my hand. I'm not hitting her with it or anything, but we're near the we're in between the bars on the concrete side. >> And so I'm trying to get it back. I'm like, "Give me the bad. I'm just I'm trying to go home." We're kind of just t tossling over it and it just like um it slightly hits his window. It just bends it in though. It doesn't hit it at all. Like there's no deck or anything. >> What got bent? One of the >> You know, you know how they bend? It just went forward. >> Like it just moved it. >> Was that when the the bat was in it or how did it >> We were just kind of tussling, fighting for it. Oh, for the window like trying to like >> for the bag so I can have it back. >> Okay. >> But it it is like the side window. It's just >> the like the side the rear view mirror type thing. Are you talking about that view? Like the one that moves this way. >> Oh, I see. I see. Okay. So, it just bent backwards. Okay. I got you. All right. >> It's not broken. >> Okay. >> Um and then so I'm just trying to get it back. I kind of get like hit a little bit by the back just cuz we're like tossing >> and then >> incidental. Not on purpose. >> Not on purpose. No. No. And we're just going on about that. He He's like nowhere to be seen anywhere. I'm like calling for him to come out. Okay. >> And then >> Do you think he was in the car at that point or >> He wasn't He never came out to the car cuz the whole time they were upstairs. I don't know where. When I was here, I saw them come down. They ended up right here and only she came out cuz she wanted to talk to me. Just her. >> Okay. >> So, we're we're just trying we're basically just um arguing. I'm just trying to tell I'm just like just get in the car. We'll go home. We're basically both fighting to get each other to go home. She wants me to leave. I want her to come, but she wants to go with him. And I'm just trying to find figure out where he is. He literally left out of nowhere. But she was like, he's going to call the police. And I told her, I'll call the police. Like you like just basically hit me with a bat. Even though it wasn't on purpose. Like I was just kind of threatening so she would leave with me. But it kind of just got worse. We were just about to fix my mom pulled up on us like when we were arguing. So we stopped arguing. And I told her I was like, "We're just going to go home." But then I just seen the police sirens. So we just stopped. We got in the car. We were we were talking about it, but then you guys pulled up >> and then >> So that's your your ex-girlfriend? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, >> as of right now. >> Oh, okay. So, like as of today before this whole incident, >> kind of like Well, I thought we Well, this morning we were fine. That's kind of why I had no idea we were like she was going to come here with him. I thought she was here alone. So, I was just going to come pick her up. >> Okay. >> But then my sister got home before me and she told me she left with someone and she described the car to me. So, I found the car and I'm just waiting for them to come out. Gotcha. Okay. >> So I can take her and we live 5 minutes from there. Not even that. Like >> so I'm just trying to go home. >> So is this like did you have some suspicions that this was like somebody she was seeing on the side? Is that kind of why >> cuz cuz I got the suspicion today that she was going to um she was talking to him today and then she left the house. She turns off her location. I figure she's with him. >> Okay. Has there been any hints of infidelity in the past or like >> Yeah, but it was solved and so like right now we were trying to fix so I'm pretty sure we were good. The morning I left, we were perfectly fine. We weren't arguing at all. >> Okay. >> I just got upset that she she didn't let me know she left the house and she was home alone. And like we have cameras that let us know she leaves, which is fine. It's just like I just wanted to be left alone. >> Okay. So, you guys come down. >> Yeah. >> And uh Manny is here. What happens in that confrontation? >> Well, they don't confront each other at all. We were I was with Gio over there in the corner and that's when I was telling him everything. So he just stays there, but at some moment he like walks back up and then does. >> Yeah, Danielle does. So I come over. Manny's sitting in the car. >> Which car is it? >> The black one. >> The Volkswagen. >> So I I'm walking in. He gets out of the car and out of right away. Get in the car. We're going home. And I was like, I'm not going home with you. So that like I think I it was either when he came out he got the bat or it was after I said I'm not going home with you that he went out and got the bat and that's when he was like I'm going I'm going to get the windshield blah blah blah. So I tried to take the bat. I was like you're not going to hit this windshield. You're not going to hit his face. >> Which car is this? >> This is Manny's. This one is Gel. We wanted to hit Gosh. I understand. Okay. So he says get in the car. We're leaving. You say no. He gets out with a bat >> and then I get the bat. We're like fussing over it back and forth. Eventually he gets hit in the head, but it wasn't on purpose. We both had the bag. It was a the the tugging. >> Okay. >> And then he opens the car, pushes me in. I'm like fighting to get out. The I don't know if the bag happens to hit him again or just >> He pushes you into his car. >> Yeah. I'm in the back seat in the back and I'm trying to get out. Were you telling him anything? >> I'm literally yelling. I'm like, "Please let me get out. I don't want to get in here with you." I'm like just telling him all this stuff. He's like, "I don't care. We're going home." Blah, blah, blah. And >> at this point in the back have been drunk. >> It's just it's it's not near us anymore. >> And then I managed to get out. We're like fuzzing back and forth. I get back in the car again. And then car in his car. Manny's car. The black and the pass in the not passenger. The passenger. >> Is that because you forced you? because of you. >> Also because I was p I was pushed in the car. >> So he pushed you in the car. >> Yes. >> And eventually just kind of gave up trying to get out. >> No, I I I got out and then he was like, "I'm going to go call him." So he starts walking over here. He's calling him. He was like, "You he was like, "You're so scared. You can't even come out." Blah blah blah. He was like, "This is the type of man." >> Many. He was like, "This is the type of guy you're messing with." I was like, "You don't even know. I told him not to come down here because I knew how to get and all of this stuff. And then he was like, "No, I don't care." And then he goes back again, pick gets the bat, and I take it back. And at this point, I'm like like holding it high over me, and he's like trying to reach, but he can't. And so he just gets frustrated, and he walks over here, he's waving at the cameras. And then he's like, >> "There's a camera over there." >> Oh, okay. >> He's waving at the camera. And then I'm like tell he's like comes back to me. He was like, "Look at what you did to me. I can call the police on you for this." I was like, "That wasn't even on me. Like, dude, can you show the camera footage?" We were going back and forth. That wasn't on purpose. And then he was like, "Okay, I don't care. Like, I'mma steal all of him." >> Um, so in Washington, right, anything that's considered a domestic relationship, which includes roommates, uh, spouses, girlfriend, boyfriend, right? those. If there's any physical act that's unwelcome at all in between anybody in a domestic relationship, it's considered assault for domestic violence and it's a mandatory arrest in the state of Washington. All right, so at this time you are going to be placed in custody for the man was charged with domestic battery and taken to the station for processing. Thanks for watching today's video.
