The Joker is one of the most famous anti-heroes in comic book history especially after the 2019 movie but what if I told you there's a real life Joker named Luigi Manion Luigi's story mirrors the Joker's character Arthur Fleck from the movie both were frustrated and felt ignored by Society in the movie Arthur's condition caused uncontrollable laughter and his anger was directed at those in power similarly Luigi's pain and frustration seemed to be aimed at the health care system which he believed exploited people's suffering for profit however Luigi's background differs from The Jokers Luigi was intelligent wealthy and well educated having graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics unlike Arthur Fleck Luigi seemed fully aware of the consequences of his actions investigators also discovered that Luigi was a fan of the Unabomber Manifesto a text advocating for violent acts against figures of power this suggests that Luigi's actions were not random but part of an intentional message against corruption
