All right. Put your hands behind your back. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. You're going to be under arrest. Okay. >> Okay. >> And my mom's like, "Push it back." And I'm still there trying to make a banana milkshake. So, I'm like, "Okay, whatever." He throws something my way. It's a pack of toaster strudles, like like iciness. >> Okay. >> And he throws it on my face and I'm like, "What the fuck?" So, I I the the refrigerator is still open. So I go like this and he sl he slaps it back and he almost hits me. I go like this and he ducks down too and he's like what [ __ ] What? And he goes like this trying to fight me. So then I'm like what the [ __ ] He comes near me like that. I have my ice a cup for the [ __ ] banana milkshake and I go like this and it's not my fault. It [ __ ] hits him in the face and his whole forehead is sliced up. >> Um the actual cup or the ice >> I don't know what it was. There was a lot of ice in there and it was >> So did you throw the cup or did you throw the ice? >> No, I went like this. I threw the ice like that and it hit him on his face and it went like that. Did the cup hit him? >> I guess. I don't know. The glass was broken. >> Did the glass leave your hand, I guess, is my question. >> The glass left my hand. >> Okay. Well, well, I didn't know if it was the ice or the cup that hit. >> No. >> So, again, he he did something to you and you hit him back. So, it's kind of mutual at this point, right? >> Do you have any marks on you? >> No. >> Um, are you injured at all? >> Not really. Are you going to come show me where you were? >> Yeah. Okay. Actually, I don't feel good going back in the house. >> It's right there on the side door. It's literally right there. >> I know. >> They mopped up everything. They picked up the ice. The icing's on the table. >> I know. But it would be it would be helpful if you don't mind showing me because I want to know if you were >> You were standing. Okay. We don't want to go inside. My mom's going to be here with that knife. >> She's not There's a knife on the table because he was literally like trying to grab the knife and she was trying to grab the knife, too. She's trying to burn my ass. >> What? What about a knife? >> My mom was trying to grab the knives and she saw that I was near the knife and then she she walked away >> right now or she was calling before before she called you. >> She was trying to grab the knives and then I was right there and I was like, "What?" I'm like, "What bitch?" She was calling me a [ __ ] She was all like, "You're a [ __ ] You ain't You're my daughter." And I really don't think that's my biological mom. >> Okay. Did you guys have any interaction other than verbal between you and you and your mom? Yeah. She kind of timed near me like while she was trying to get with the knife. She went like this. She was like trying to do that. I was like, "You better stand back." >> So, you had a knife in your hand at this point? >> Yeah, I had a knife cuz I was scared she was going to come at me. The [ __ ] fire was up and the flames and she was trying to throw my ass in the fire. >> Okay. It would be helpful to see this. >> So, maybe start there. I don't know. She texted me a lot sometimes. Weird. She gets high in that house and so does my sister in the basement. Marijuana. >> Okay. Well, I mean, cannabis is not illegal right now, right? >> No, but she's not supposed to have it. Becky, my stepdad, he smokes a lot, too. He smokes on the computer right there in front of the kitchen. And he always plays video games. And my brother plays like I thought he was molesting my brother for a second. And he was like playing mind games with me because he was like, "Oh, I smoke here." And then that week he got in my face. >> Hold on a sec. Sam too. Is there any available unit that can go over to make contact with him? >> I still think he molested me when I was a little girl. I had a lot of blackouts and he was always sleeping with my mom. She left my dad because he was abusive to her. He used to beat her. But she used to beat him like her family members like my uncles that if I go to my sister's house today, my uncle lives there. He used to beat my dad with a bat. >> Sounds like a lot. At this point, she starts talking about deeper pain, things that likely shaped how she reacts under pressure. We won't include the more disturbing details here, but what stands out is how her story drifts between the present and a painful past. Moments like these remind us that police aren't just walking into crime scenes. Sometimes they're stepping into years of untreated trauma. >> So, what happened from like the point >> you turned around today? >> Yeah, today >> you you like slammed the door of the freezer door. >> Yeah. It hit him in the head. >> Yeah. First was in the fridge. He was like this scared me and he was like opening it wide up so he knows it's going to hit me in my face again. I'm making a banana milkshake on my cup with the ice. So I slowly close it and then I'm like and I go like this trying to put it to his shoulder so he knows like don't put it and he smacks it like that when I already turn around and then he throws some toasted sugar at my face like a bag of icings >> and then I he misses and I go like that and then I'm like what the [ __ ] So I I throw the fridge I I throw the fridge door and he backs up and he goes, "What bitch?" And he goes like this trying to fight me. He comes closer to me and I get scared. Nobody's doing anything. My mom and my brother are there like my grown ass [ __ ] family is apparently my family. I don't know my real family. It's a blackout a lot and I would turn her to my grandma in Chicago. >> Okay. >> So basically yeah, she says she's my mom. But anyways, yeah, they come around. He comes around up to me and I get scared cuz I don't know what to do. I wasn't scared. I was just nervous. So, I take the cup for self-defense and I like throw it at him and I guess it slices his whole forehead because it's like it's like up like that now. Okay. >> And he goes to the hospital and then when he goes in the car, he's like, "You need the jar, bitch." And he's like calling me like that like names. And my mom's like trying to look the knives to like protect him, I guess, cuz she's mad at me. But I'm near the knife. So, I grab it first >> and she like backs up and she's like, "You're a [ __ ] ass [ __ ] You're not my daughter." Blah blah blah. All this extra [ __ ] And I'm like, "Whatever." >> So, all right. Put your hands behind your back. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. You're gonna be under arrest. Okay. >> People raised me in my mom's like family. My dad would never do this. >> You save for 195. I have my papers in my pocket. >> Okay. Like I'm I'm born here in America, but I have my social security on >> pretty much what you were saying, man. >> I'm gonna search you real quick. Okay. >> Okay. >> I know you said you have papers. Any weapons on you? Nothing. >> I have a controller. >> A controller. Okay. It vibrates. >> Yeah. >> Going to stick me, right? So, >> no. I I'm just going to have batteries. >> Oh, >> yeah. >> Even as she's handcuffed, she keeps talking, trying to make sense of it all. What stands out most isn't just the violence, but the loneliness behind her words. It's a reminder that when families break down, law enforcement becomes the last line between chaos and protection. This call started over a banana milkshake, but it ended with a young woman's life changed forever. >> Okay, I'm going to leave the remote here. Okay. >> Okay. All right. This belongs here. Correct. >> You can take out the batteries if you need batteries for your control. >> Uh, I don't. Thank you, though. >> Yeah. I was like recording from the inside, so make sure to read the video or whatever. [Music] Yeah, she writes this place evil. His dad died in Germany like just last year. He's really satisfied since we work on the house. You got
