2021 a concerned neighbor reported that a man named William Mitchell had taken an airsoft gun and started shooting at a neighbor's car causing damage the situation took an even more dangerous turn when Mitchell in a state of apparent anger threatened his neighbors with a knife when the officers arrived at the scene they knew they had a challenging potentially volatile situation on their hands for him and uh when he got back he was still St in his truck when I called again I was like he's sitting right here and I stayed on call with uh dispatch to watch him go in and out in and out yeah I just I don't get the man he's got the couple houses down the woman's her husband I guess talks to him often and she told I think it was the sergeant yesterday that he has mental health issues this guy has mental health issues well maybe the court can order help with that and while while holding him accountable and then while holding him accountable for the rest of I want to make sure he don't even back like honestly I was scared to come out since yesterday because I got to take time anyone mention or have you thought about maybe getting an injunction against them what's an [ __ ] I don't even know what that a protection order uh restraining order is that even going to work though cuz like I used that analogy with the sergeant yesterday that you know they always tell the girlfriend to go get a restraining order and then the boyfriend kills her and they're like well she had that piece of paper uh well well well but if he if if he comes around you whatever it's another charge you know okay I'll definitely consider CU said I think you're a prime candidate at you know you got there's obviously uh yeah it's been issues you know about 12 days now and and it all started with him SL he knocked on my door and my old lady answered the door and he yelled something at her and then she shut the door in his face and came I was sleeping she came in and as as she was going to the bedroom he started popping the tires and that's when she ran in tell your tires right now and I ran out here and that's when he attacked me with the knife I didn't think about having a knife and cutting my tires when I just ran out I was asleep right right and so that's when he attacked me the knife that day and then after that uh we didn't see him that was Wednesday we didn't see him again till Friday so I called the police and told him that he was there and then they came and knocked and he didn't come out so they left then Sunday evening at like midnight he came walking across street with a baseball bat to my daughter's bedroom window so I called the police then and I yelled out the window get off my property and he turned around and the police came and he locked himself inside again and when come out and then yesterday I was standing on this dresser with my cell phone and he shoots me like just out the window and I got it on his camera and I blew it up and got it all nice and big so they can have copies of it if they need it but you you can see them open the blinds and then not even 30 seconds you hear me [ __ ] he shot me yeah it was just a c thing like um un fortunately today what was different about today was uh officer Shaheen was able to make contact with him at the door and that's first help me the first closed you know closed the door and locked it and stuff and so we knew he was in there and we could that's what they said about yesterday yeah Pro was in there all right hang on to this we're going to have you wear it um they're going to come out take a temperature and uh in there uh same Spiel I give everybody you don't have anything I missed no drugs narcotics I know I know same thing I got to ask though nothing in your shoes or anything no 61-year-old William Mitchell was charged with resisting an officer without violence aggravated assault criminal mischief and touch strike or causing harm to a fire police or S dog or police horse bail was set at $8,000
