supposed to be taking all the charges on September 23rd 2023 officers responded to reports of a couple engaged in shoplifting upon investigation the officers apprehended the suspects and extended their inquiry to the vehicle what they found in the car was both shocking and tragic a dog that had been dead for more than a month morning hello hey so I'm officer original GE they the stor called me said you guys were shoplifting from inside uh that's not true no no your description I know but I if you pull the manager I L where's the other guy that was wasn't there just another guy right here hey can you step out of the vehicle for me there probably him you have ID on you uh no but s I'm just trying to find my keys real quick you haven't been in the store at all you said no sir but you're been I just like recently lost my house house like right in this uh you know neighborhood right behind her right and um they both like have been kind of like staying in my car with me but I've been kind of fed up with both of them so I've been kicking both of them out and I found Josh like out here yesterday like ped out right there um and yeah and and he's definitely been I know he's been like stealing from here because he told me that happen but I don't know about this morning well they said it just happen just now you've been in and out of here today A couple times that who has that you and him they described you to I I literally went in and went to the bathroom one time and that was not even very super recent okay what's that hold I'm not sure looks like a a pipe any other drugs any drugs or any other Prof now you're in the car uh no but that's not mine and did he drop it when he was getting in the car guy is there any drugs in the car whose car is this this is my car can I search it no no offense just you know have you ever been arrested before I've been arrested before um most recently I had a traffic ticket that I didn't pay okay yeah that's it just for a war on the traffic ticket total yes oh no um like a few years back maybe like uh 2016 I got arrested like uh in Round Rock for like some um it wasn't even my Stu but yeah there were like some drug charges but yeah I got I got it all dropped you already get talk to them inside no off the notes they some charges but they described these two she said that she knows he's been stealing them in there he was in the car when I show he got in the car when I show up he wasn't described but these two were described um one of them either her or this guy dropped that pipe before I walked up I don't have proof that they had that pipe um not so who's he um so both of them they were my friends but um I lost my house recently I had both of them same same and um it was just like a shitty uh at my house I don't have it anymore I just last right but um it's right here in this Valley neighborhood literally right where you guys staying now um well we're not really I mean I just lost the house so I guess we kind of just like I don't know we're not really really staying anywhere he has been like sleeping outside and stuff because I keep kicking him out of my car it's been a problem like left the whole thing where like I've been taking care of them basically and like they don't take care of me back so I've been like I kicked him out and I just came out and he was outside here just as him was in the car and he was outside and then Al it so so you paid 35 bucks cash for that and what was the story on the canand uh I was just eating it you were just eating it did you have it before or after you went it in the store so you stole it from the store is there anything else that you took without paying for from the store this other b c the other bag of candy do you have money to pay for those items cuz you used all the money to pay for the health why did you lose your house um well so I had a boyfriend who um he died and he didn't have me in the whe so the parents came and took it but you know I was living there for like a year or something well yeah anything illegal in the car not I know when's the last time you you used any kind of drug um I be like around time it's getting like dark outside yesterday so he used last night well I mean sort of I mean it wasn't like a you staying in your car so did she use in your car no okay where'd you use at my friend's house friend's house why didn't she stay at your friend's house well I did for a little bit I I didn't necessarily even sleep in my car L can we move him a little bit away from the car come over here and have a seat on the other curb he's going to get a dog out and I don't want the dog to accidentally bite somebody so why why didn't you sleep in your friend's house uh because that particular friend is like like kind of like handsy and just like expects certain things I guess for so sorry why why why am I being detain right now am I being or am I you are okay why why is that well a couple reasons we got to call from here that you and this gentleman are stealing okay I don't have anything he does that's fine but if if y'all could just go in there and like see if there's a record of that stuff being bought it was clearly in his possession are you concerned about something no I just no I have stuff to do but I understand that y'all probably have stuff to do more so than I do so something that might be worth mentioning is that I do have my my dead dog in my car you have a dead dog in your car yes where uh in my passenger he's in a cooler right now why do you have a dead dog in car um because I wasn't able to bury him right the moment after he died and so it just when did he die um a while ago a while ago yeah I kept them in my freezer um you know like in a freezer just so we wouldn't like CL you know okay yeah just you know just might be work okay come here is there a dead dog in there there is why the hell didn't you tell us I sorry just kind of not on the list how dead is the dead dog like how many days like uh over a month over a month and why do you all have a dead dog in the car he's UND decisive when we the bar well so here's what's going to happen is we're going to search a car no we have problem cost to you what there's no okay so what I'm going to do is I'm going to detain you in handc and I'm going to sit you down okay while we do so cuz I don't want you running off I need to tell you something before you do that about the dog the dog in the car yeah oh you already knew about that well he just heard it on the radio oh in the cooler yeah she said it's been a while that's the first yeah I was really close to my dog I get that yeah how long has you been in there in in that cooler um a we maybe but you know I've been I've been keeping them with the dry eye so keep frozen you said there's no drugs in there uh not not that are mine no drugs are mine that I'm aware there are drugs in the car uh no I'm saying if you do find drugs they are not mine and I'm was not aware of them I have been bone dry like you you just told me that you used last night just that one that one like yeah just that one time but other than that I've been bone dry lit okay just turn around you're just being detained okay so I can do this without you running off cut straw right there he found one of those on old boy over there too what is this it's a dick for you want to test this too hey guys if anything is s in that car I'm talking to them I know but I can hear you oh I know sorry yeah I'm just letting them know that you they know who is do they yeah why don't you tell us whose it is I said if town to do the grocer yeah so that was where you find a meth right yeah Ivy yeah can we be honest please this all looks like it's Merchant from inside they just want their property back is that their property yeah their property that's their property okay Walgreens property okay safe to say you were lying to me about committing a theft and you were no no I didn't Li you I just said that they so here's the deal you're in custody for P for PP you're going to get a sitation to be released that's no drug per oh but okay but Jus uh's going for PS oh he's supposed to be taking all the charges that's not how this works but okay okay all right that is definitely your your drug perality because I found it with your stuff I mean I understand that that I understand that logic right there but like we all have been living like in my car and like it really might not be thank so you're being you're getting a citation here here to be released all right he's asking if you'll take custody of his property okay and his phone still in the car all right a job right now um no not an official job I'll like walk dogs neighbor dogs and stuff it's I okay my is Officer Z okay um so I just explained to him it's a criminal trespass warning okay it's being requested on behalf of Walgreens so the business they can do that with with anybody they want to two years right yeah two years do you know about this I just heard you so if you come back before that 2 years you be arrested for crimin trespass okay for trespassing right that would be the charge that would be the charge if you come back okay okay are you good with him going with you yeah F if not you can say so and we'll get his belongings and he can taking me to yours oh sorry you you can step down off that I don't want you to fall don't move officer is going to talk to you real quick okay Sor the hair out of so this is the this is the citation for possession of drug par right so technically it's a criminal charge we going to have a court date you already got that court date 11:09 119 so the court dat is going to be on the 9th of November at this location right here right 9 a if you don't make it they will you a warant off for your rest right so you got to make sure you make it um your signature right here is not admission of guilt just promise to take care of the it's a heart uh smiley face and sign at the on the yeah I wrot go inside right there like above thank you 11:09 that a.m. she doesn't need this cuz that's for cl that was already the three suspects were arrested and charged with theft and resisting without violence
