No, no, no. What's wrong? Why you can't stop? >> Stop. >> On March 4th, 2024, things took a dark and bizarre turn when a woman allegedly tried to lure an 11-year-old girl to her apartment. But when the girl's mother found out, chaos erupted fast. Words flew, tensions exploded, and the whole situation spiraled into something straight out of a nightmare. Watch. Now, >> is it possible you guys can go in the parking lot where it happened? Go around to the parking lot side of our apartments >> like right here. >> So, I could show you all the stuff that she threw down that's still sitting down there that this just happened. >> Okay. Right. Right on the back. >> Literally, if you turn around here, you go right into our parking lot. >> Thank you. >> I just got home from work. I had my um 11-year-old walk my dog and this lady all the time talks to our kids and we tell housing you guys come out. Nothing's ever done. She's even thrown things. Tonight the neighbor caught her and my daughter walked on. My daughter ran inside. She goes, "Mom, the lady upstairs told me to come upstairs with her." So I came outside and she was almost in her apartment. So I walked upstairs, knocked on her door. I said she started cussing at the door. I said, "Please don't speak to my children. Please don't tell kids to come in your home with you. It's not okay. I go to leave. My neighbor got it all on video. She started throwing stuff at me down the stairs. She hit me with a pl It's still all on her porch. She hit me with a plastic piece. Um a dog gate that's at the end of the stairs. She threw some cross thing. >> Are you hurt or injured? >> I just hit the top of my head. The stuff just hit the top of my head. I have no cuts, no wounds. My head hurts, but I'm fine. >> You need MS? >> No. My biggest thing is I'm tired of officers coming out here and nothing being done. Our complex let us all know a year ago they spent a million dollars on these cameras. So between these cameras, the footage that I have and that she has, I'm pressing charges. I'm done. You don't tell. You don't tell any children. >> Uh she has the ones of the objects coming down. I just videoed the objects before she picked them up. >> Okay. >> Christina, can you send me that video if you have it, please? Who's this? Um >> my um the very end apartment. She has a video on her phone. Her name's >> her over there. Where does >> um she lives upstairs 243 where you see those two chairs >> over there. >> She's knocking over the door. She never does for you guys. This is what happens every time. Just >> stay right there. [Applause] >> Do you guys see what happened? Do you guys see what happened? Huh? A piece of you got it. We heard yelling when I came out. >> 64 53 and then she came out and she went to She was coming down the stairs and she came out throwing something down on top of her. But that's the part I caught when she was throwing stuff down. >> So she was throwing stuff on her >> Okay, >> sir. Yes, ma'am. She threw a gate. She ain't going to answer that door. >> She also threw a gate down. >> She did that [ __ ] last night, too. >> She ain't going She ain't going She ain't going to open that door. >> She ain't open. >> She ain't going to never open that door. >> Imagine coming home from work only to find your 11-year-old daughter being lured upstairs by the neighborhood's resident lunatic. It's a mother's worst nightmare. The mom was shaken, furious, and done staying quiet. Meanwhile, our main character, apparently the local villain famous for never opening her door to police. But this time with half the complex filming. Yeah. Ghosting the cops wasn't on the script tonight. >> She ain't going to never open that door cuz I caught when I called I had y'all to come over come knock on her door 2 or 3:00 4:00 one morning and when she was up there cutting the pool and stuff and she wouldn't open the door. So she not going to open the door. Y'all going to have to catch her one day. Oh, they're not coming out the house open. >> They ain't going to do nothing today. >> She ain't going to open it, sir. Y she talking to you out there through that window cuz she ain't going to own that door. >> All right. They don't change. How you doing? >> Yeah, it's going to be a 48. >> Yeah, >> she she came out was throwing the head up. Yeah, it's are like a almost like a those are plastic tables that you take off the the leg and then the dog gate under shea And I can't understand how she finally like back to back. >> So you had to live in here before that. >> Oh, she was worse. >> I mean, she she was knocking my door constantly. I had >> What was What's her name? >> Jessica. Jessica, >> Jessica, you need to come to the door. >> You guys got to go home. >> Jessica, you need to come to the door. >> It's the Sarasota Police Department. >> We're going to talk to you face to face. >> I need to talk to you face to face. [Applause] just >> Hey, Jessica, I need to talk. >> Okay. What's the problem? No. No. No. No. What's wrong? Wait a minute. You can't stop. Hey, >> stop. >> Don't stop. >> Well, that was fast. And if we're being honest, wildly satisfying. After all that door banging, you'd think she was about to make the cops wait until they fossilized on her porch. But eventually, the door creaked open to reveal a woman with the attitude of a soap opera villain mid-season finale. The officers didn't blink, just snapped on the cuffs like they'd been waiting all week. >> You're hurting my arm. [Applause] >> You're hurting my arm. You're hurting me. [Applause] >> What is the problem? >> Stop. Battery. >> I didn't hurt anybody. She came to my house. >> She been in my house. >> Okay. >> I didn't touch her. >> Yes, you did. >> I didn't. >> Yes, you did. >> I did not. >> I didn't have no charge for you. >> I didn't. She went in my house. Ow. Oh my god. Wait, wait, wait. I can walk. I can walk. You're going to hurt my uncle or you want to walk? >> I'm going to walk. >> Are you going to be cool? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Just going to give you another chance. Okay. >> You got to be cool. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Walk. >> Damn. My really bad. >> Stop. >> She went in my house. >> Don't say anything. Okay. >> Okay. [Applause] Don't say anything. Just keep it walking. Keep walking with my daughter. >> Don't we'll talk to you now. Okay. >> Okay. She killed me [Applause] alcohol. >> Let's go to one baby and stop one second. Okay. >> Okay. >> Hold hold her real quick. >> I'm okay. I'm fine. Hold. Okay. Is is it Jessica? >> Yes. Yes. I have to lock it with the key. >> Is there where are they? >> No, that's okay. I I locked the bottom when I came out. I got the key. >> You locked the bottom already? I'm going to go up there and make sure it's locked. >> I don't I don't want anybody in my house. I don't consent that. >> And is that going to go in there? We're just going to make sure the the door is locked. Okay. >> Can you So, the same thing happened at Venian. >> Hang on. Hang on one sec. Hang on a second. >> Yes. Okay. >> I live alone. I have door. >> Okay. >> Open. She came and >> Hi, Jessica. Right. Uh, let me resend it real quick. So, it real quick to you so we can keep talking. Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can't will be used against you in the court. >> You must have to be a special kind of nightmare to have the whole apartment complex cheering during your arrest. Neighbors gathered like they were watching their most hated villain finally get voted off the island. Applause broke out as officers escorted Miss Menace to the squad car. Like this was the moment they'd all been manifesting since ever. >> You throw that. You throw it on her. I didn't. Well, >> you throw what it looks like a like a plastic leg from a table. >> Yeah. >> Why? And then you throw the the baby gate. You It didn't It didn't follow your fing. You threw it at her. >> Well, she came in my house. So, >> but why you lying to me? >> I said I didn't. I said >> you said that I might follow your hand like No, you threw her like you We can see you picking out the gate and throwing it on her. >> I missed. >> And now Yeah, you missed. No, no, you you did her. >> I didn't miss. >> You did her. white thing missed and then they I just was so >> What's that white thing like like a leg from a table? >> No, it it's a um you know how you have the umbrella for the for the beach. >> Uhhuh. >> And you have to put the thing in. >> The one that I used to screw on the sand. Oh, okay. >> So, I missed and and then I went back and got the gate, but I and it kind of fell on top of her. But >> no, I didn't Jessica, I didn't throw you throw it at her. We saw it on the >> She came in my house, officer. >> Okay. You know what you you should have done? you close your door and you call us, >> right? >> The same thing that they did, >> right? >> And everybody saying that you're the one acting up crazy, you the one that causing issues, that the one, you know, uh arguing with everybody and fighting with everybody, you know, so everybody's pointing at you and we have videos of you throwing those items to to this uh lady over here. >> Okay. >> I was just was taking a back that she could go in there like that. I don't I just feel like very threatened here again. The same happened in Venetian. They all came out and clapped. My my ex-husband, I don't know who he is now or was he, but I just >> Jessica. >> Yes. >> Before we have a female officer here to search you before we go any further, is anything on you? >> No. >> Are you sure? >> Yeah. >> If if it is a little bit of something that I could be a misino if I put you back on my car and we find something at the jail here, there's going to be a felony. Nothing in your hand? >> No. No. >> Okay. >> I don't have anything. I'm just trying to give you the opportunity to be honest. >> Thank you. This is pretty good. >> Thank you for your service. >> You're welcome. >> Am I really going to go to jail? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Why? >> For borrowing press charges. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Why? >> I guess let me maybe go to court date, please. And I don't have anybody to bomb me out. My whole family's gone. >> I have nobody. >> That's another thing. Do you want us to to grab your phone and bring it with you so you can call people? You know, numbers up on top of your head. >> Listen, >> I don't know anybody who's going to get me out of jail, please. Can you ask her please to not press charges, please? >> And we can we cannot do that. We cannot because and then it's going to you know push the car in. >> It's going to make us weing her not to press charges. She called us when we asked her what happened. She told us what happened. And she said and she said, "I want to put charge against her." >> Why don't you say she pressed the door in? >> He should have stopped and called the police. She claimed the stuff just slipped out of her hand. Yeah. A magical slip with perfect aim followed by a second round of equally accidental precision. According to her, the gate kind of fell. According to the video, it definitely didn't. One more thing. If the neighbors are throwing standing ovations every time you get arrested, maybe it's not them, it's you. >> Okay. >> Why don't you say that? Listen, you can't push the door and then she can't do the >> That's what you said. That's what you said. We're going to ru the >> Please don't kick me in the jail. I don't have anybody. I don't >> listen. We need to lock your door. >> Okay. >> Okay. Please. I don't have anybody. >> Okay. So, can we go into your house and grab the key and lock the door and perhaps grab your phone, too? Jessica, I need a yes or no. >> No. >> No. We don't care about what's in your house. >> No, I won't consent. >> Okay. >> The last neighbor. her. >> Well, I got a hold. >> I'm not going to go to >> She denied cops entry to her apartment like she was guarding a vault of bad decisions no one was allowed to see. Meanwhile, the neighbors were probably having the time of their lives, witnessing the drama they'd waited far too long for. In the end, justice not only opened the door, it dragged the chaos out in cuffs. She was charged with simple battery and resisting arrest.
