You got any guns, knives on you? All right, man. Stand up. She started firing at me from in the backseat. Keep your hands out. Keep your hands up. On the ground. >> On June 23rd, 2025, an orange Mustang caught a deputy's eye in Marion County, Florida after blowing through a stop sign. The driver, 23-year-old Lyanna Harden, was no stranger to the system, having already served a 2-year sentence for grand theft auto and weapon charges. What started as a simple traffic stop for a minor violation quickly turned into a life-altering disaster. Lyanna was hiding more than just a suspended license. She had a deadly secret tucked away that was about to turn this quiet night into a chaotic shootout in the blink of an eye. >> What are you doing? Why are you honking? Okay. Hold on. And why didn't you pull over right away? >> Oh, because I'm at the house, and so I just wanted to like, you know, because we're already here. >> Okay. Do you have a driver's license on you? >> Uh yes, sir. >> Where would your driver's license be in there? >> Oh, no. Sorry. I was just getting all all the people. You're good. I just need a driver's license. >> Okay. Is it valid or is it suspended, expired? I'm not very good at seeing. What's your first name? Why don't you step back? I'm going to explain to you the reason. 54 You're good. Just come on right back here. Just right back here. Is there a friend signal 49? I'm going to have you give me your information. You don't really look like the person on the driver's license. 23. Spell your first name for me. Spell your first name for me. Spell your last name. >> Rihanna started the interaction by lying through her teeth. She claimed her license was valid while her eyes darted around like she was looking for an exit that didn't exist. When she couldn't even spell the fake name she gave correctly, the deputy knew he was dealing with a professional amateur. She looked like she had methany written on her birth certificate. >> What's your social security number? >> I don't know that by heart. >> You don't know it by heart? Okay. Can I ask you your first name again? >> My phone >> Yeah. Can I look at the picture? >> Well, I mean I could I could maybe like send it but I don't like give consent to the phone. I would just rather not. >> trying to look at the picture. >> Yeah, no problem. Yeah, you can you can look at the picture. You see? >> You don't even have the same color eyes as the girl in that picture. >> That's makeup. That's >> No. I don't wear a lot of makeup. >> Okay. Good. Go and put this down. Put this down. You're being detained right now. >> Okay. >> Put the phone down. Put the phone down. Put the phone down. Yep. Let it go. And pretend you're laying on your back for now. You're being detained. Yeah, cuz you're not being truthful about who you are. >> But but what was the reason of the original stop? >> The reason for the original stop? Because you made a faulty stop on the at that stop sign. And because as you were proceeding through that first stop sign that I seen you coming head-on with me, you were not in your lane. You were partway over the lane, okay? Do you have any weapons on you? Guns, knives? >> No, no, sir. >> All right. I'm going to pat you down. Go ahead and tuck your elbows up. >> Well, sir, sir. Okay, I'm I'm confused. I'm a female. >> Yep. That's fine. And you're only one detained. >> Only one detained? I'm I'm so confused right now. >> Have a seat. I'm going to explain everything to you. Have a seat. >> Can my pops come out here? >> Have a seat. Hold on. So, are you going to give me your real name or are we going to have to take you to the jail and figure out who you are? >> Yes, sir. My real name is >> Go ahead. >> R H E A N A. >> R E? >> R H E A N A. >> What's your last name? >> Harden. H A R D E N. >> What's your date of birth? >> It's on the envelope that's over there. >> Honestly, the audacity to blame makeup for a whole new identity is top-tier delusion. She was so desperate to avoid reality, she even claimed her aunt just passed away to garner sympathy. But using trauma as a shield for a fake identity is a tired move that never works. It was clear she was hiding more than just a suspended license, and the tension was rising fast. >> Why'd you give me her name instead of your name? Do you have a warrant? >> No, I don't have any warrants >> Are you suspended? >> I'm Listen, I'm on the very edge of I almost have everything like paid off. Everything and it's really it's like right there on the edge. I have court July 8th. You know what I'm saying? >> So, you gave me a fake name because you were suspended? Really? Does that seem like a logical thing to do? >> Well, it wasn't like a It wasn't that small of a road. >> You said don't be cracking? >> My aunt just passed away and I'm not trying to use that as an excuse, but it's really >> She's suspended. She gave me a fake name. Do you have any drugs on your person whether they belong to you or not? And I'm about cuz I'm What am I going to do? Stand up. Stand up. I'm about to have to go through your pockets, okay? >> Okay. >> Do you have any drugs on your person? >> Um no. >> No? Okay. >> Just up there. >> Good. Just up there? What are in the keys? >> Yeah. >> Okay. What kind of drugs are we talking? Fentanyl? Meth? >> No, no, no, no, no. I don't do drugs like >> Meth? Are there any needles on you? >> No, I don't I really don't I really don't shoot. I don't >> Okay. Damn. You know right? Like we're going to find out. I just want to know about the >> The situation shifted from annoying to criminal when the deputy found a stash of methamphetamine in her pocket. Rihanna's face practically had methany written on it. So, the discovery wasn't exactly a plot twist. The deputy started tearing through her Mustang finding her male passenger hiding out in the back the whole time. >> Just send out a message like, "Hey, show up real quick while we try to get units back. >> How long you been in the car? >> I've been sitting in the car, I've been in the car, I've been in the car, bro. >> Hey, did he show? >> No way, you were not here the whole time. >> to god, bro. We didn't do nothing wrong. >> That's wild. >> I think it's crazy. >> That's wild. >> That's terrifying. >> That is terrifying. Do me a favor, hop out the car for me, man. You got any guns, knives on you? >> bro. >> All right, man, stand up. Damn, bro. Temple. You got anything on you? >> No, sir, I just said no, man. >> I'm going to check your pockets, all right? >> He said no to him and he found a six-on-the-mat, so I >> Bro, realistically, let's not act like it's crazy. >> All I got is the abuse in my bracelet in my pocket. That's it, dog. >> Bro, you're just being searched. We just found a six-on-the-mat like we're >> Look at me, my bro. >> Go stand up there. You got a black bag. Hey, do you want that guy, Blue, to take the stuff out of your car? >> No. >> All right. Come here. Come here. Right now. Bring your hand around to the front. Scoot out. Turn around. Temple. >> What are you doing? >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm very I'm very nervous. So So I can have the >> Get in. >> the phone >> 10-4. 10-4. >> The passenger acted like he just woke up from a nap, which was a wild claim considering the police lights and shouting. Meanwhile, Rihanna was sitting in the back of the patrol unit, handcuffed and plotting something far more sinister than a drug charge. She begged for her phone, claiming she was nervous, but she was actually preparing to escalate this stop into a deadly encounter. >> Oh my god. Yeah, Let me move this, and then I'll just take a beat. >> 10-1 Marion primary. Marion SO2. >> 6671, shots fired, shots fired. Marion, I'm on 441. Just north of a racetrack. I'm not sure exactly where. I'm outside of my car. She started firing at me from in the backseat. >> 441 at racetrack. >> I don't think I'm injured. I'm not sure about her. She's still in the car. >> 10-26. >> The deputy barely escaped with his life, scrambling out of the car as shots rang out. Where was she even expecting to go? She actually tried to murder a cop while locked in a cage she couldn't escape from. It was a miracle he wasn't hit, but it was a night he likely won't ever forget. >> She was kicking. She's trying to kick at the left door. >> I want you to take that. >> I'm on 441. Shots fired. >> Shoot her now. >> Yes. >> 10-26, coming in the area. Where are you needing? >> Last time I wore my seatbelt. If she started firing at me through the grate. >> Yeah. Um Why don't you go ahead on back to my car and I'll take over for you right there. >> Okay. >> It's your lane. Is that your Is that your mag right there? >> Yep. Yep. Yep. I got it. >> We're going to need a sheet. >> Which side is she on? >> Left side. >> Hey, keep your hands out. >> Keep your hands out. >> Hey, don't look back. >> I got the door. >> All right. >> Which side? I can't hear you. >> I got the door. >> Keep your hands up. >> Come out. Get out. Get out of the car. Get on the ground. >> On the ground. >> Where's that gun? >> On the ground. Get on the ground now. On your stomach. >> It's it's it's over there. It's over there. I saw it out the window whenever we turned. It's right You [ __ ] [ __ ] >> I got a 10-12. Where's the signal at? >> I got a 10-12. >> Where's the gun? >> Right here. >> On this side. >> No, it's black. >> Yep. >> Oh. >> Where's the gun at? >> Right here. >> Over by the door. >> Let me check. >> You want to roll over and sit up on the curb? >> Yeah, I'm not going to >> Sit up. Yeah, go ahead and >> Medics are going to be 51. >> Is there something on the back? >> Yeah, there's a lot of water there. >> Once medics get her over here and get her in the ambulance, we'll >> Am I bleeding? I don't I don't know where my leg hurt. I don't I don't I don't know. >> Ma'am, lean your face up. >> Yes, sir. >> That's what's that on her face? And that's not from that. >> I don't know. >> The backup officers were baffled by how she managed to hide a gun where the initial search couldn't reach. A female officer performed a more thorough search, but the damage was already done. The deputy's wound near his eye was a chilling reminder of how close he came to death. It's clear Rhianna was methed out and not thinking about the 30-year prison sentence she just invited into her life. >> It's over here. >> Can I borrow you? >> Yep. >> I think she's been patted down by a guy. If If you could pat her down, I'd appreciate it. >> Spread your feet and lean forward. Lean your chest against that. It's going to get real uncomfortable for both of us. Bend your >> She has I don't think it's a gunshot wound to her back. She has maybe a graze wound on her back shoulder. We lifted her shirt up. Um Yeah, it was in It was in here when we lifted her shirt up. That's why I think it's a graze wound cuz it's not But there is a >> Yeah. Chris. >> But we think there's blood inside the back of the car, so that's why we're confused what we're looking at. >> The deputy, too. >> Yeah, he has a graze wound on his I think on his face. Um He was in that vicinity over there. >> She had a gun down in her tooty tooty. >> That's it. And we didn't do it You couldn't do it We couldn't do a female search, that's why I just had a female searcher cuz >> Yeah, he can't, you know, he as I told him I said I said, "Listen, she she had a gun where you can't check." >> Yeah, she had a gun. >> was able to get it out while he was in the in back seat. >> So, here here here's the deal. I I'm trying to figure in my mind what is her what is her thought process because she's locked in. >> I think she's on meth. >> How how >> She's She's on She's meth out. She broke out. >> You can't get out. >> No. Mhm. All right. >> I can't hurt her though. >> You can do this, honey. I'll get it. You got that letter over there, that green door on the right there. >> Rihanna Harden took a simple stop sign violation and turned it into a three-decade prison stay. Her decision to pull a weapon while already in custody was the ultimate act of drug-fueled stupidity. She thought she could shoot her way back to freedom, but all she did was ensure she wouldn't see the outside of a cell until her 50s. On February 16th, 2026, Rihanna Diane Harden was adjudicated guilty on all counts. She was convicted of attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of methamphetamine. Additional charges included driving while suspended, giving a false name, and possession of drug paraphernalia and cannabis. For her decision to fire a revolver at a deputy, she was sentenced to 30 years in state prison. She also received consecutive 10-year and 5-year terms for her other felonies. Do you think a 30-year sentence is enough for someone who tried to execute an officer from the back of a patrol car? It's terrifying to think about how close this deputy came to not going home that night. Some people truly have no regard for human life when they're chasing their next high.
