the cartel will stop at nothing to get their product into America no methamphetamine heroin this is probably the biggest challenge we'll face to stop it before it gets into the rest of [Music] America so I'm Sheriff Mark Lamb and I work for the panal county sheriff's office being a sheriff there's a lot inail in this job managing of 600 employees an agency with a budget of over $60 million but also I like to still get out and do the job so the beauty of being the sheriff is I can do all of that now I how you guys doing goodas oh going to Vegas oh even better hey I pulled you over cuz you failed the signal when your lane changes a couple times all right you guys have a good time don't let them spend too much out there in Vegas all right guys we have a good [Music] one always been a good kid you know don't drink don't smoke don't do any of those things didn't get in trouble pretty focus on just trying to be a good person good citizen uh Patriot even I've been a patriot since I was a kid the my football team that I like is the Patriots because of the the name of the team the Patriots so I'm a patriot to the core 2700 pilot hey folks how you doing I how you doing today I'm Sheriff lamb you know I think there's a lot of misconceptions most of it's fostered by the uh media I think people tend to look at police officers as robots or or maybe that we lose our ability to be regular people and it's just not true I mean we're all family men we you know we fathers we Sons we we're just trying to raise a family but at the same time we're trying to protect our communities and we're doing it for not a ton of money you know we do it because we're passionate about this country and freedom and and um I would say that's what the majority of the police officers are doing it for are there bad cops sure there is in every industry but we do the best we can to weed them out ourselves we don't nobody loves or hates a bad cop more than a bad you know good cops we hate bad cops so um but you know there's a lot less than people think most of these people are good men and women who do this job because they love their communities and love their country and they're willing to sacrifice everything to do it hey man how's it going got your license I pulled you over for the window tin on the front here on these windows that's how like T like 20% could when I drove by I couldn't really tell but when I got up here a little closer I could see that it wasn't as bad as I thought it was all right guys have a safe drive okay all right kids have a safe drive appreciate it have a good day you too brother I never thought about being a cop I never never even remotely thought of it as a kid or as an adult until uh I went on one ride along with a neighbor and I was boom some guy who had been caught with a a 14-year-old we end up chasing the guy out into the desert we go out in the field and out behind behind this house was an old abandoned travel trailer on the reservation I look in this travel trailer and I'm like he's in here they go in there they move all the clothes and debris sure enough the guy was in there I went home that morning and woke my wife up and said honey I'm going to be a cop 6 months later I was in the academy 34 years old panal one Trevor Canal one good it's going to be out of Arkansas Adam Leon I 10 Westbound at M marker 209 Orange was in order valid license so send him on his way sometimes you eat the bear sometimes the bear eats you that's life you know sometimes things go your way and sometimes they don't two things that I've learned is uh things always have a way of working themselves out and things are never what they appear to be and those are things that I've learned over time and over life that when you think things are bad doesn't necessarily mean they're bad and when you think Uh something's good it doesn't necessarily mean it's good and in the end it all has a way of working itself out unreadable temp tag be with the drugs but so you got a license or no yes sir well you got to have the actual license bro I not losing my it's a lot going on in my life like everything is going from great sh I came down here had everything I needed lost my license one day at work and I you don't have any uh you don't have any warrants right no nothing probably for D like uh here or in Georgia not but Mesa think I went to the they were supposed to go supposed to go do a jail time went to the jail time to go do it but they didn't accept this idea all right here's what I'm going to do man cuz it sounds like it's it's suspended it's not it's not I don't want to pull it up and find out you got freaking warrants though I'm just being honest with I know I appreciate it lied to you about I know here's what I'm going to do because you were honest all right I don't feel like dealing with a warrant right now I don't want to find out you have warrant you got a lot of jacked up stuff here and if I I'm only going to make the situation worse you're not supposed to be driving the car cuz you don't have a good Li uh plate for it and you got to make sure you get your own your license all right man I appreciate so much I'm going to cut you a break you got to get everything taken care of all right all right getting done all right I stay focused on what's best for God what's best for my family what's best for Freedom which I love and what's best for the Constitution and I think that's been how I've had a lot of success as a sheriff how I've done that job and the community appreciates it I think you got to believe in yourself and I think you're you're you do yourself a disservice when you look at people so highly that you try to emulate them when in reality you should be emulating ourselves what I've learned is man life throws you all sorts of curveballs and different doors open and you've got to figure out if you're going to take those doors and so it's hard to say but long term I hope to be 10 years better than I am now but
